Phoned in with an order of a 12”pizza and small kebab super generous portion,I can honestly say best kebab I've tasted! Partner said the pizza was nice also. Both smelt amazing too. The shop is extremely clean and staff are polite and friendly. Overall, I'd recommend and definitely eat here again. Thank you!

I'm new to this region, I was craving kebab, I wanted to try the essex grill and I didn't regret trying it at all, it has really delicious food, I recommend it to you, it left a great taste.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the essex grill kebab shop. The flavors is always exquisite, the donor meat is succulent, and the service is prompt and friendly as always I highly recommend it!

Amazing food, brilliant service

Used to use this often untill 3 months ago, last 3 visits theve shut earlier,and cleaned down. Greeted eventually by a rude server,I asked are you still open,he said depends what you want and raised he's eyes. I left,unfed and unhappy. Dont close down earlier than you state. Plenty other places to eat.wont bother again.

I’ve had to select a star to post this as I didn’t particularly want to rate them any, Had family take away night last night food was terrible other than the pizza, anyone who had chicken shish is extremely ill throwing up diarrhoea and belly cramps. They forgot some of the food order and we had to go back and pick it up, the doner meat was like cardboard, it just was an all round awful experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I think the food poisoning has just topped it off

Pizzas are well made and delicious . Prices are very reasonable. The meat dishes are well portioned, value for money and well cooked. Have only had deliveries so I can't comment on the atmosphere. Staff are always friendly. Delivery comes within the ETD. Absolutely very happy with everything we have ordered. Would recommend.

Awful service. Was told food would be delivered at 18:00 got to 18:15 still no food. Called the restaurant got told driver was on the way be another 10mins but didn’t arrive u til 18:40 by the time it reached me it was cold and no salad in the burger that was asked for so phoned the restaurant to let them know this information got told a replacement would be on its way but never turned up. Phoned the restaurant again to ask how much longer am I going to wait they told me driver was outside for an hour and then changed to half an hour but no one knocked at my door. Ask for money back and nothing has come back my way. Awful place. Don’t order from these people. Rude service also on the phone.

Ordered via just eat a few times now, we are a big family of 7 as you can imagine we order lots of different foods with so many people and this is the only take away we have found that all the food is delicious and always hot it's either early or on time never been late, and every thing gets eaten by everyone! Definitely wouldn't order anywhere else and I recommend it to all my family and friends

Just had lamb Shish wrap the only part I could eat was the salad and wrap the lamb was so tough and peppery it burned the mouth Had lamb shish before NEVER been this hot. Waste of money

Very surprised that the prices in low cost area such as canvey for low class fast food is this high for such small portions. This is doner meat not lamb fillet. Very out of touch with portion size and pricing. Total rip off

Salad was fresh and the kebab tasted OK. The chips unfortunately were obviously processed and out of a bag. The problem was the incredible thirst I have developed! I needed to drink three pints of water overnight! No doubt the kebab was covered in monosodium glutamate, aka Chinese salt.

Tried phoning 3 times and they answered and put phone down on me. Then the 4th time they answer they leave the phone on side I can hear them talking to other people and ignoring the phone call they answered

I placed an order last Saturday, went to collect order, me and my husband ate the chicken shish kebab and spat it out, as it was grissley and chewy and not nice meat. So we phoned shop to see if they could re place the order, as used them for few years before and happy with service. To be greeted with abuse, adventually he said he would re place. I went down to collect order and greeted with more abuse and was shouting at me in front of customers in shop and blaming me that because I was 7 minutes late that's why the meat was grissley which is rubbish!! . I have not been spoken so rudely by anyone I think the owner should take this into account who is mangering your shop and losing your customers. I will not be going there again and advise other not to do so also !

I have eaten here twice the first time I was surprised at how nice it was. The next time my order was late and cold when I got it. I didn't get any help when I phoned to complain.

After trialling a few takeaways we have found one which is consistent, professional and great with time keeping. Don’t usually leave reviews but these guys/girls deserve it.

ordered a chicken burger and got a rock hard bun and big chicken nugget inside of it. when i rung up to complain i was told it would be 30-40 mins before they could do anything. so now i cant have dinner with the rest of my family. when i said i want a refund they asked me to come to the shop to get it. absolutely disgusting attitude on the phone and made to feel like it was my problem the food was below par and inedible. i will not be using this place again. lets see if they bring me my refund like i asked. Update kitchen staff came to my door with another burger after i said i wanted a refund. to be told my burger was ok and i wont get a refund cos now his made 2 burgers. When i said i wanted a refund he got aggressive and walk off. Very professional
