Downtown Pizza in Welwyn Hatfield

Be very carful sent raw chicken and said they would refund me. After collecting they now state they know nothing about the raw chicken that was delivered

The website and app have minimum order values that just don’t apply. They say one thing and then simply won’t work.

This place is mainly a takeaway. Their food is not bad, but their ordering process is ridiculous.

gave me wrong sauces and wrong chicken

good as always but was late but usually early by 40 minutes. never get any problems and delivery drivers are always polite

I was paying by cash and wasnt sure of the total the delivery guy said 11.75, so i payed to then later find out it was 11.35? Why have i been over charged??

Driver was nasty over the phone and left after being late. When he came back the food delivered was cold and was disgusting! My girlfriends burger had cheese in even though we did not order it. And my kebab was a poor excuse for a doner even for someone who was drunks standards! Overall need eating here again!

Can't fault them on delivery time, food was earlier than expected. Pizza was decent enough without hitting the heights of more well known brands and the chicken wings were excellent. Only major gripe was that I ordered Diet Coca-Cola and was given Diet Pepsi. They are NOT the same and are NOT interchangeable!!!

Helpful customer service when I phoned after making a last minute decision to change an item that I'd ordered through the app. Fast delivery. However, forgot to bring the 1.5l bottle of drink from the double deal meal deal.

the only thing about this order that was good was that the delivery was earlier than expected, but considering we are less than 3 minutes away it's not that great and you still charge considering we are less than 5 miles away? The wrap had a bone in it, the chips had clearly been re-fried, the milkshake lid hadn't been put on properly so it leaked everywhere, the kebab was swamped in sweaty salad before you could even see any meat. wouldn't really recommend this place for the price either

missed green peppers of the order for the fourth time

The Pizza, jalapeño cheese etc was nice but the chicken burger was mediocre. The bolognese wasn't nice at all. The best food they do is the chicken and kofta kebabs

Go to pizza takeaway. Use Downtown because they are quick, efficient, and always good quality. Pizza, chicken, kebab-all the same excellent standard.

Delivery Driver was rude & obnoxious demanding and extra £1 for delivery to oaklands welwyn ...... its welwyn area code. arguing with me on my doorstep I said when he should be taken his problems up with his own boss not a customer ...... now the food which was cold and wet from all the juices leaking out not to mention you messed up my order by putting lemon juice on the chicken not the lamb and not putting mayo on the chicken . The lamb was too fatty & cheap tasting so with all this to mind I will say good bye to you and take my custom elsewhere ... you have your delivery driver for the most part of this and regarding the food well its in the bin !

Pizza wasn't cut into slices so was a pain too eat, far too much cheese and very greasy his the spot for a hangover cure though.

Food was alright but i got the wrong food i got spice y wings instead of bbq wings so I was unhappy about that but they are still my favourite place to get food from.

Was the nicest chicken and chips I've had in a long time, (just as good as KFC) and the pizza was really cheesy, so tasty, (food shared between two) 2nd time I've ordered and will be ordering again.

Chicken was dry with soggy coating. Garlic bread was ok. Whole order was lukewarm. Milkshake nice. But worst was delivery-food had been stuffed in bag on its side instead of boxes kept flat so my potato skins topping was all over the box - what a mess!! And the skins tasted of sawdust so weren't fresh. The whole order tasted not fresh or particularly good. Waste of money & disappointed!! Not up to usual standard

Turned up 25 minutes late, asked for more money for delivery after agreeing the order!!! Food was dreadful, totally inedible, stone cold and had to be thrown straight in the bin. Disgraceful service

Ive got my order and i think someone has tipped the whole meal sidewards as all stuffing out of my 2 portions of pot skins were stuck to the box and when trying to PEEL it off! All i got was the paper of the box which stuck onto my food so non eatable. Not pressed. Also this has happened to my garlic bread and my cream cherse is everywhere

Good portions, everything hot, nothing missing, friendly delivery man. Can't complain, will order again.

Full marks.. Best takeaway in long time. Tried a bit of everything from a bundle meal.. good fried chicken, crispy fries, nice kebab and awesome pizza!! Will reorder the Cheese lover pizza again!!!

Food was over 30 minutes late and arrived cold! Couldn't tell what the milkshake was, didn't taste like the flavour I ordered. I spoke to someone on the phone and they were quite helpful however.

Food arrived 20 minutes late, and wasn't very warm. I also specified that I can't eat garlic and they gave me garlic & herb dip with the pizza.

Most of the takeaways on just eat have a hygiene rating of 0-3 (let that sink in for a second) this place is a FIVE : ) Yay clean food!!! They deliver good food, fast and on point every time.

Very good delivery, fast and the delivery driver was nice and helpful. Good price. However the food wasn't great at all. Not the best kebab I've had and probably wouldnt use again, food was also cold.

Amazing food, fast, filling, great stuffed crust and beautiful milkshake!

The food tonight was exceptional. It is normally good but the chicken was really crisp on the outside and perfect on the inside and the pizza had a lovely amount of toppings and the cheese was caramelised beautifully.

Only negative was the chips stick to the paper underneath I would recommend not putting the paper in the box with cheesy chip

These people serve the best salad with the kebabs. I ordered these pizza too which read great. Delivery time was excellent. Kebab was excellent. Honestly, this is the best kebab I've had ANYWHERE.

DownTown has got the very best delicious PIZZA so far. Despite living in Hatfield, their delivery is super. By the way, I havent tasted a better Chicken Wings.

Ordered at a quiet time, not lunch or dinner, took forever to arrive, well over the 45-60 mins timescale. Driver phoned me to say he was at the end of the drive, had to walk down to get the delivery (I am disabled)!!

Have ordered many times from here and today was as if I ordered from somewhere else as food was awful compared to what I've come to expect from them not sure if I'll use them again

Ordered a large doner meat and chips and a doner kebab wrap. Absolutely ridiculous how burnt, dry the kebab was. when I phoned up and complained about it the man told me they grilled the kebab. The whole point of the word kebab means it goes round whilst cooking ( I'm turkish and know this). For them to tell me they grilled it means it was left out cold for a while and needed a reheat! Also the wrap wasn't wrapped ( confusing ). Instead of getting an apology about it, he was more stubborn and defensive. Resent me a fresh order, shame he couldn't do this at first.

Lovely food, only downside was found 2 bones in my chicken burger. Will be ordering again just hopefully wont find any bones again!

We left a note on juseat asking them to leave by door. As would be no answer.... nothing was left except missed calls but still charged.

Ordered food at 20:10, thought delivery was 45 minutes.... food arrived 20:25. Super fast delivery and service. Food was delicious, especially the cheese pizza!! Bueno Milkshake with vanilla ice cream could do with more of the bueno flavour as the majority of taste was vanilla ice cream.
