Great food and attentive service

I took my family here recently which included my elderly father and 3 year old daughter. We received excellent service from our waitress, Anna, she really took great care of us. The food was great as ever, but in particular the staff were really kind and helpful.

We often go to Pizza Express at the Hatfield Galleria. The food is lovely, the staff are always professional (especially with my wife's food allergy), along with being friendly and smiling and always accommodating with birthdays etc.

They tried to rob me today. Went there as I had a voucher, which was a gratitude from my employer. The staff made a photo of my voucher and announced that it isn’t accepted by the system because it was bought using invalid credit card. What a nonsense. After I challenged that, oh miracle it worked! Not sure what’s the point in that, perhaps they were planning to use the pictured voucher if I wouldn’t challenge that but that was my last visit there.AVOID!

Probably the best service we have ever received. Very friendly and lovely gentleman Goran. Superb.

A really delicious 2 course lunch for two, the service was very good, food arrived hot and in good time and we were happy with our booth table.

We were served by Goran today, who we regularly see there. He is always charming, polite and attentive. He always looks happy and pleased to be at work with the customers and deserves recognition. The food is always consistently good and well presented. The atmosphere is relaxing and we often play cards while we eat.

Came to have lunch with my friend, service was amazing by the waiter and manager (Harry) they paid attention to every single detail and food was on point . Our food was delicious and they made us feel very welcomed. Will definitely be returning very soon.

We were served by a waiter called Costas at the Hatfield branch on 24th August and I must say his customer service is exemplary. He is one of the best waiter I have been served by. He is a keeper! The food was fantastic too. Such a great experience. I will definitely visit again.

Came here with my girlfriend, the food eisha made was beautiful, andreea, Emma and Dominika gave wonderful friendly service and the manager harry was welcoming. Would come here again.

We had dinner at this pizza express where we had various dietary requirements in our party. Our server, Dominika, handled our table really well. Was very attentive and was a great host. We’ll definitely be stopping by again

Great for our kids who eat all things Italian, and we ate it all, but just to let the more discerning customers know... The dough is rolled out (flat) and the pizza is cooked in an oven dish to keep the shape, the oven being electric. Sauce is to the edge leaving no rising crust, and the pasta sauces are pre made. Fully understand a successful high street chain keeping costs down and consistency up, and as I said we ate it all, but for the price I'd expect more authentic which I will now be looking for.

Was a great experience for a family dinner. The food was good and didn’t have to wait long. Was a little bit confused by the app vouchers, but a young gentleman Kostas helped us out and showed us how to use the app. He was very lovely to speak to, and was very helpful throughout our visit. Will be definitely coming back here.

Came by myself to do some impromptu work and was sat in clear view of the kitchen. Good selections of mains and they do a good decaf Special thanks to the waitress Cassie for her knowledge of menu items and helping me find the right choice for me, and Eisha the chef for their overall friendliness and guidance through the app. Will definitely return.

this was the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I am Italian from Napoli so you can imagine that I know my pizzas. when I tell you that this is the best f^#@king pizza I've ever had I am not joking. The pizzaiolo Alex was fantastic and I could tell he made my pizza with love and care, and most of all skill. You have to visit this Pizza Express specifically at least once in your life. really need to work on their customer service experience. we waited to be seated, no one came over even though it wasn’t busy, so we ended up just sitting wherever. then we get told that our table had been reserved, and get seated somewhere else. calling someone over so we can order, he tells us that he’s not a waiter and just walks off. and when we are finally served, we manage to finish our food before they bring our drinks over!

Lovely Kimberly served me she was very polite to me and my family! Made it a great experience overall, had to give her a nice tip, keep the good effort going Kimberly! Will definitely return again soon😆🥰

I came in with a friend to get a pizza for takeaway and we were greeted by friendly staff. I ordered my food with Maxim and he politely offered me drinks and desserts. Alex gave me my food and told me to have a nice evening. 10/10 service and food.

Had a really good lunch at the Hatfield Galleria branch. Tasty food and very nice staff

I would highly suggest steering clear of this particular branch . Whilst the staff are friendly the service is abysmal to be polite. The starters came in a timely manner.. But the main was the biggest letdown due to us never receiving it .. arrival time 18:30 my family and I were still sat at the table at 19:45 waiting for our pasta dishes and one salad .. said salad had been sitting on the side for God knows how long .. after being told many times that our food would arrive within “5 more minutes “ we were given empty excuses about tickets being lost / missed .. THEY RUINED MOTHERS DAY. If you like pizza you’re safe here as everyone else besides MY family were catered to , please do better !!! we ended up at a KFC. The only positive was the lovely calamari, arancini and alcoholic beverages.

I had a birthday dinner with my family. We are very pleased with the service and the food.Even though the team was busy we were served on time. The food they serve is delicious.The team is very cohesive and happy to help. We are glad that we chose this restaurant for this evening.

Cold food , cold coffee , indifferent service

The service was great, the staff were really attentive, friendly and the starter was tasty. Some of my salad leaves were slightly mouldy on the chicken Caesar salad and they still charged me full price which I thought was a bit unfair. Probably wouldn’t re visit this one again though as I felt a slight discount would’ve been appropriate given the mouldy food.

Large clean and tidy restaurant at the Galleria. There were 13 in our party, (we'd pre booked), and we were served well by friendly and helpful staff. Excellent menu choice and food was really tasty.

I am vegetarian on religious grounds and, despite requesting as I normally do, Pizza Express did not remove the chicken from my dish. After the delivery was made, and I found that my dish still had chicken in, both Pizza Express and Deliveroo were disrespectful and unhelpful in trying to resolve this issue. Both companies simply passed the responsibility to one another. I am saddened by the fact that my simple request was not only ignored by Pizza Express, but neither company are accepting responsibility. Due to this, neither company are issuing me a refund. This is despite the fact that I wasn’t able to actually eat the food, and had evidence to show I had requested it without chicken. If it were a mistake that either company were willing to resolve, I would have looked past it. However, I will not be ordering from here again, and wish to warn other potential customers of the poor customer service I have received.

I went in a group of 6 & I honestly have to give a huge shout out to Matt Sharkey who made all of us feel welcome. He helped us all choose what to eat & his suggestions were perfect. He was funny & we really enjoyed being his service. I would definitely recommend going back here but only if Matt is working haha.

Paneer tikka pizza was excellent . They did not have rum cocktail and there was long waiting for food to arrive . But staff were very good.

Had ordered for delivery a couple of times and had not been left too impressed. Went there a couple of weeks ago loved the meal there. The berry and white chocolate roulade was incredible, but the carbonara was just delicious (although a bit burnt), left craving some more even though the portion is more than decent. Service was very good, by a girl with tattoos (sorry I did not catch your name but you were super attentive).

Having lost faith in Pizzaexpress after a recent visit to the outlet in Bath, Hatfield restored our faith with friendly welcome, at tentative staff as we had our granddaughters with us but more importantly the food was well cooked generous portions and very tasty. Thank you 😊.

Visited here today and had a fantastic meal with my Son but what impressed me most were the amazing staff who were rushed off of their feet but were still welcoming and charming despite it. Lovely place. Nice pizzas. Great service from both Cassie and Cian (Sian) Highly recommend it. They are also catering for for guests with celiac intolerance. I really enjoyed my gluten free pizza and gluten free Peroni.

Took the family here for lunch but unfortunately the experience wasn't great, although the flavours of the food we had were nice we left the restaurant still feeling hungry. Was disappointed with the experience really.

Unfortunately, we was starving , so we have to eat outside, pizza express usually have some goods for this situation but, yesterday I was find something else . First : When we arrived, the guy how gide us, was insistent to give us some appetiser, which is not good when you tried take off your coat, find place for your bags, disinfect our hand and .... We refused twice but we realised that if we don’t choose something he NEVER ever lives us alone . Second: Calamari was fried day before serving it was soggy and lock like a piece of rubber. They just make it hot. We was really disappointed after lunch because we know when YOU DONT HAVE COSTUMERS, YOU MUST NOT MAKE FOOD IN ADVANCE. Third: As a customer we promise don't listen to your conversation in 10 meter far of us so please take volume down and let us enjoy from MUSTY Calamari. Thank you . At the end I don't want criticize our pizza or more they know what did they do and if I didn't say anything about polite waiters and very clean toilets cause at least they do one good job. My suggestion is : if you get hungry , take some junk food or chips or slice of bread insted of pizza express in this branch. Had dinner there last night service was horrendous young lady who seated us was very polite... Then a guy finally took our order with a very abrupt attitude it wasn't very busy and when we finally got our food brought to us our main meals where brought out instead of starters and I told the man this and was told the kitchen is busy we eventually got our starters after the waiter went around offering them to other tables after we finished our main meal really disappointing

I visited Pizza Express situated in Galleria Shopping Mall, Hatfield. Spending time in Pizza express was pleasant. I liked the ambience, soothing atmosphere and spacious place. We ordered for Vegan Pizza, Soft drinks and deserts. All these were well presented and tasty. Service was very fast and staff was courteous. Tips: Options available: Non-veg, Vegetarian and Vegan. It is not halaal. Book the table: If you are in large group more than 4, it would be better idea to book the table through their website to avoid any disappointments. Shop and eat: If you are planning for shopping and having Pizza, this is the better choice. Time: You can spend 45 min to 2 hours based upon the group size and orders.

They are always good. Nice staff, decent place and if I want to have some italian and don't want to experiment I'll go straight here. The vegan GIardiniera is my all time favourite.

Lovely staff, good service and really nice cannelloni

This is one of the best pizza I've ever had. The staff is friendly and polite. The restaurant is usually not crowded and everything seems clean. The restrooms are well maintained also. I would definitely recommend. My favourite pizza is: Carbonara with extra 'nduja, it's not on the new menu but if you ask they will make it for you.

A Lovely surprise...when you just want a friendly, clean and comfortable (no raginging air con) resturant. Great thin tasty pizza..salady stuff....nice drinks...plenty food for kids...relaxed staff with time to take your picture. 3 adults..5 kids.1 kids meal.drinks desserts coffee...and pizza for dad to take out £150 "sorted"

I booked a table for 1pm for me and my daughters. I phoned in advance to order the food. Alexandra took my order over the phone. We agreed on time and as we walked in, our food was placed on the table. Perfect timing! I had also asked to remove all glasses and leave just forks. This was also done. We got some drinks. It was about 3 mins for them to arrive. She then took our order for pudding (only Kids had some ice cream) and then i asked for the bill. Kids were eating ice cream while i was sorting payment out. Again, prompt, accurate and polite. In and out in 30 mins. Both my kids had time to eat but no time for getting bored and going all crazy! So yeah, perfect visit. Would def do it again and ask for the same server! Thanks Alexandra!

I had an awful experience here last week and never again go here ... we arrived around 2 pm on Sunday so we waited in the queue following pandemic procedures then a member of staff was supposed to serve us who turned out to be nasty and very rude! She had an attitude and spoke to us impolitic to the point that we decided to leave! Shame on you... you ruined our sunday I don’t recommend people go there unless you are desperate.

Visited this restaurant on Wednesday taking advantage of the 50% off government scheme. So it seems the 50% off the bill also means 50% off the food. 2 adults and 5 children portions were tiny and pointed this out to the waiter who wasn't interested. We all left feeling disappointed and still hungry. Would be really interesting to return and have the same dish to see the result
