A first class lunch at the Punch Bowl in Old market, Bristol today. This is the Jerk chicken salad. Wow factor presentation with flavours to match! A beautiful dish! Top marks to Chef Keith. At £12, a sensible price for an outstanding dish!

was good food and good drinks, need slightly quicker service but good will come back for bottomless many times as it’s a good deal as long as you have a good server :)

A young girl nearly died in front of me in the downstairs toilets. I picked her up with her friend and carried her out and got an ambulance. The manager was not interested in her welfare. She was passing out and unconscious.

Myself and my family have eaten in pretty much every Caribbean restaurant in Bristol (Caribbean Croft, Rice n Things, Biblos, Bikkle Island, Turtle Bay, Glen’s Kitchen, Vybz’s, Chef Watson and a few more). This was our first time ordering at Mamma P’s and we were a little nervous. We ordered 2 large Curry Goat, 2 large brown stewed chicken, 2 plantain, 4 fried dumplings, coleslaw, cornmeal porridge. It was a £42 order so we spent quite a bit of money here. - Negative Having had our order accepted via Just Eat, I was surprised to get a phone call from the restaurant to advise that they had run out of brown stewed chicken, so could only fulfil one order. To be fair they did offer us an alternative, but as they had also run out of Jerk Chicken, the only other chicken they could offer us was fried. I agreed for this to be substituted, but only as there was no other option. i wish they would keep their online menu updated so this wouldn’t happen. - Positives The food portions were a good size, the food was warm and tasted amazing. Will definately eat here again, hopefully next time they will be able to fulfil our order in it’s entirety. This is the only reason why i am not giving them 5/5 this time.

I visited with friends for lunch and we had a brilliant meal! The Cassava was crispy yet not too oily. The meat was full of flavour and well seasoned. Great service. I recommend it here if you're looking to try something new and satisfying!

Here’s a possible review: The food at Gullu’s Kitchen Caribbean was good, though not exceptional. We ordered for collection, and the website stated it would be ready in 15 minutes, but we ended up waiting 30 minutes. It was clear they were struggling with the Friday evening rush, so I understand it might have been a busy time for them. That said, I’d go back—it feels like a case of bad timing. Next time, I’ll try the jerk chicken instead of the curry goat!

Really good, authentic food! Friendly staff, quick service and some of the best rice and peas I've had. Will 100% be back!

Stunning, authentic food with a fabulous host - I couldn't recommend enough!

The food was really good and really filling. Customer service was great even though it was a very busy Saturday night, and Chloe made sure that we got everything we asked for. We got a jerk platter (to share between 2 of us) and it included half a chicken, half a rack of ribs (4), 2 sausages, coleslaw, fries, and coconut rice. We also ordered 3 cocktails each, which we received 2 of because of their 2 for 1 cocktail deal! Definitely a great place to go for a night out with friends or work, or for bottomless brunch but no really the right atmosphere for a date as it was very loud and lots of school and university students frequent it.

Met a couple of works pals for some food after alot of recommendations and wow, not disappointed in the slightest. Service was fantastic and the food delicious. Thanks for a good evening.

Exceptional food and drink when we visited. A lovely little place and attention to detail in the flavors was spot on. If you are in Bristol be sure to check it out if you enjoy a variety of veggy dishes, fish and meats and great desserts.
