Frank – The Cocktail Maestro Frank, the bartender, is an artist behind the bar. His cocktail craftsmanship is next-level, and his creation of the “One Love” cocktail was nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and packed with flavor, it was easily one of the best drinks I’ve had. His attention to detail, passion for mixology, and ability to make every customer feel welcome made the experience even better. Manager G – The Heart of the House G, the manager, is the kind of leader every venue needs. Warm, charismatic, and effortlessly keeping the place running smoothly, she ensures that every guest feels valued. It’s clear that her energy and dedication set the tone for the amazing service that Turtle Bay delivers. Varun – A Head Chef Who Delivers Perfection The food? Absolutely unreal. Head Chef Varun knows exactly how to bring out bold, authentic Caribbean flavors that leave you wanting more. Every dish was packed with spice, depth, and that signature island soul that makes Turtle Bay a standout. You can tell there’s real passion behind the food, and that comes down to Varun’s skill and dedication. If you’re looking for a place with exceptional cocktails, incredible food, and a team that makes you feel like family, Turtle Bay is the spot. Reservamos una mesa para la cena ya que tuvimos un concierto de música en el lugar de intercambio enfrente. Ocupado el viernes por la noche. Señora sirviéndonos fue fabuloso. Ella tomó en serio mis alergias alimentarias, fue informativa, servicial y alegre. Recomiendo los pasteles de pescado estilo tailandés, los fish & chips y el pollo 🍔 Volveremos cuando vuelva. En la zona. 😊

Stunning, authentic food with a fabulous host - I couldn't recommend enough!

Myself and my family have eaten in pretty much every Caribbean restaurant in Bristol (Caribbean Croft, Rice n Things, Biblos, Bikkle Island, Turtle Bay, Glen’s Kitchen, Vybz’s, Chef Watson and a few more). This was our first time ordering at Mamma P’s and we were a little nervous. We ordered 2 large Curry Goat, 2 large brown stewed chicken, 2 plantain, 4 fried dumplings, coleslaw, cornmeal porridge. It was a £42 order so we spent quite a bit of money here. - Negative Having had our order accepted via Just Eat, I was surprised to get a phone call from the restaurant to advise that they had run out of brown stewed chicken, so could only fulfil one order. To be fair they did offer us an alternative, but as they had also run out of Jerk Chicken, the only other chicken they could offer us was fried. I agreed for this to be substituted, but only as there was no other option. i wish they would keep their online menu updated so this wouldn’t happen. - Positives The food portions were a good size, the food was warm and tasted amazing. Will definately eat here again, hopefully next time they will be able to fulfil our order in it’s entirety. This is the only reason why i am not giving them 5/5 this time.

Delicious food, chilled place and great portion size for the money

Fui a almorzar con la familia. Se reservó una mesa a través de OpenTable. Llamamos al restaurante y preguntamos si podíamos venir antes. Fueron muy serviciales. Camarera sonriente y sensible. Probamos el rabo de buey, combo de croft, lubina y filete. Todos los alimentos fueron cocinados muy bien, especiados y condimentados a la perfección. Generosas porciones. Mi única queja sería que los precios que aparecen en el menú no incluyen IVA -tal vez esto debería mencionarse en alguna parte-, por lo que la factura total fue más de lo esperado. De todos modos disfrutamos de nuestra comida y su sabrosa comida merece 5 estrellas.

Exceptional food and drink when we visited. A lovely little place and attention to detail in the flavors was spot on. If you are in Bristol be sure to check it out if you enjoy a variety of veggy dishes, fish and meats and great desserts.

Mi segunda vez en casa de Nadine y valió la pena. Tenía el pollo guisado una salsa tan equilibrada con la riqueza de la salsa y la dulzura del azúcar. Recomiendo encarecidamente. El ambiente era genial también. ¡Baja ahí abajo!

Visité Calypso Kitchen con mis hijos. La comida es increíble, el servicio al cliente era genial. Nada era demasiado problema, estábamos sentados rápidamente y no esperamos mucho tiempo para la comida. ¡Mis hijos ya están preguntando cuándo podemos volver de nuevo!
