Nice to go for a quiet drink. Bit expensive drinks wise but nice to sit out in the court yard in summer. Table service available. A mix of residents and non residents of the hotel.

Just what the local high street needs, a lovely independent cocktail bar I often visit Riley’s on a weekend with either my partner or a couple of friends, consistently has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff are always so friendly, especially Courtney Fantastic range of cocktails, beers, wines etc and if you’re lucky enough to visit on a sunny day it has a great terrace, perfect for people watching on the high street

Amazing give me a free donut and they were so nice and friendly manager was very kind and generous staff were ver ver ver y kind and I will come back regularly

Food never turned up, partly just eats fault but they made no attempt to even deliver my food. Just told me over and over my foods ready and it’ll be here when it gets here … 2 hour wait and still no food. And the man on the phones response was “just sort it with just eat”

Mahoe Blue Liverpool We visited this superb establishment, midweek (Wednesday 11 Sept’ 24’) I was celebrating my birthday in Liverpool & we fancied some Jamaican Cuisine & found this gem in Liverpool. The host Andrea (proprietor) was warm & welcoming & we felt at home immediately. She explained the history behind her establishment & this reflected in their decadent decor; “Their Journey” which was inspired by her Grandmother. We ordered an array of choices via menu; Curry Goat; Rice & Peas; Plantain; Jerk Chicken; Festivals; Homemade coleslaw; Rum Punch & Guinness Punch. What can I say but the food was authentic & tasted absolutely, magnificent. The rice was served in Calabash Bowls (natural coconut bowls) We shall surely be returning to this fabulous establishment; Mohoe Blue, (aptly named after The Blue Mahoe (Hibiscus Elatus) which is the national tree of Jamaica. If you are looking for an authentic Jamaican eatery in Liverpool, look no further than Mahoe Blue. (Husband & Wife duo) I can assure, you will not be disappointed.

Friendly staff great atmosphere very good food. Only popped in for a drink but enjoyed a tasty cheesy steak and chips and 3 drinks each really enjoyed our afternoon. Very clean and warm atmosphere we will definitely be back and highly recommend a visit

Had Sunday lunch today, 3 courses, great value. beef was excellent. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend for value for money and tasty food

Told the pie and a pint was included in the golf. The first group backbquestioned this and said it was a great deal and are you sure? To which the barman said yes! Then after we played and had the pie and pint the chap from the golf shop came out with an apalling attitude saying we had to pay £5 each as it was for another society. Their mistake and he spoke to us all in a distgusting manner.

Pretty poor really, first visit in several years and it's gone downhill badly. Service took an age, burger was reasonable. Chips and onion rings were supermarket-level and the wings were basically battered bones.. No chicken at all. 2 burgers, with chips, 2x drinks, 1x onion rings and 1x wings came to FIFTY FOUR QUID. pay half and go to 5guys downstairs instead. Way better
