We arrived at 11pm only to be told the kitchen is closing so we have to place an order straight away however on google it says they close at 11.30pm. Our waitress Aparna(apologies if I’ve spelt your name wrong) was on point, professional and looked after us. They where out of chops which wasn’t a good start to our order however once we ordered food came out at reasonable quick and WARM(my opinion the food needed to be much more warmer) however it looked and tasted great. They could do with another table sauce as we was only given mild and hot chilli sauce so possibly introduce a garlic mayo or chilli mayo. Overall it was a good first time experience given the time we went so hopefully next time it will be an excellent second time experience🤞🏽

Food was amazing. We tried the chicken wings and the ‘We Goat Your Back’. Worth every penny. Fried bananas was delicious too. Fahim was a very thoughtful and helpful.

Food very good. Delicious full peri chicken with Afrikana sauce. Service was very good from the waiter but took a lot of time getting a table on a Monday night and food took its time.

The food is absolutely appalling and should not be fed to anyone not even my dog would not eat that. The chicken was raw and had blood inside. The food was not up to high quality standards and it's hygiene. This made me ill. This illness was diagnosed as Food Poisoning due to its symptoms Which had effcted me drastically quickly . Avoid this place and go to Nandos instead

Went for my wife 40th birthday meal tonight well what can't I say it was food poisoning on a plate raw bloody chicken, under cooked lamb chops what a shambles, plastic hard burnt so called jollof rice me, & my girls have serious stomach ache & have explosive diarrhea had to end our night early on a low due to feeling unwell please avoid this place no authenticity about it the gentleman who dealt with me & my families problem was very professional and understood the situation he also done his best at resolving it paid for my drinks sent all the food back & left 😫 🤒

On arrival we were greeted by Aparna. Once seated we were given the menu. Drink and food orders taken. The food was beautifully presented, however my daughter/niece said the chips were lacking in flavour. Service was slow at times, however the restaurant wasn't very busy. Atmosphere could be jazzed up, at times too quiet. I would return again, in a few months.

The most disgusting food I have ever had! Mac and cheese seemed days old and microwaved. Jolof has pungent smell and tastes grimy. Sweetcorn was looking like it was a few days rotten. Salad was rotten. Plantain rotten on the inside. £17 for this mess. Avoid. Avoid. AVOID

Overall: Disappointing experience. Positives: Grilled Chicken and deep fried Okra was good. Negatives: Rice was old and smelled bad, We goat ur back was tasteless, and the kebabs were undercooked. Conclusion: Not for us. We won't be returning.

First visit yesterday and having been diagnosed with a terminal illness my mindset required comfort. Well the food was delicious 1/2chicken in afrikana sauce, Jollof rice and slaw to take away. I was served by a young lady who gave me warmth with her kindness. I can’t thank you enough. Mouth watering just thinking about inviting friends whenever I can escape from the ward. It will not disappoint. ❤️

My server Aparna was excellent. We were a big party and she was very attentive and did everything with a smile

Make you wait close to an hour for your delivery to then call you and tell you they don’t have the item I ordered. Surely you let people no that when ordering. Won’t be ordering again

The service was excellent, the girl is very friendly and welcoming. The food is good, but most of it is chilli. The meat was a bit strong. We needed more effort to cutting. 😹 The chicks are very excellent.

Food was cold even though member of staff said it had just been cooked. Asked to move tables, waiters just ignored us Asked for mains to come after starters, but all arrived at the same time. Disappointing service generally. The only thing they were good at was getting the bill, was there within 20 seconds. Need to improve service

He was the nicest and kindest , he made us laugh and it was the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time - he went out of his way to make our day special !!! . I will tell all my friends about this restaurant because of Viveks attitude. The food is nice , not incredible but definitely nice for a casual eating. Thank you to the lady for allowing us to sit upstairs despite it being a tricky night. Great customer service. Amazing staff for both people we dealt with! Will be coming again!!!!! The food is not authentic food at all. The mac n cheese was literally asian style and dry. The platter was meant to have plantain as well, which actually wasn't available and had a small portion of coleslaw instead. The jollof was pretty bland and the server approached us asking if it is too spicy which was amusing. It was not actual jollof rice, but just seasoned with a few things and very dry. The server himself was nice, but he was chewing while taking our order and also on the phone sometimes. Overpriced, would not recommend it. If you want authentic African food, this is not the place.

been a few times and it’s been ok but on this occasion it was a real disappointment. We had the chicken platter but the chicken was rock hard and very dry. The rice was bland and tastes like it has come out of an Uncle Ben’s tin. Mac and cheese was also dry and not creamy enough. The 🔥 flavour on the chicken is spicy but not enjoyable. They do not provide basic salad as part of the platter which is very strange. Overall the service is good as are the mocktails but the food is overrated. Won’t be coming again
