Everything about this place is fantastic, greeted served well ,fantastic staff atmosphere was brilliant, food & drinks were superb ,made some fantastic memories here

Me and my friend went to Revolución De Cuba Manchester on Thursday this week (13th Feb) but if I’m honest I thought the young mixed race foreign girl was a bit unsympathetic and impatient and as an individual with autism I didn’t think she was very nice but I reported her to the manager but Jenna one of the waiters was really nice to me and my friend Anna and she took over for the night as we enjoyed Revolución De Cuba Manchester 15 days ago (31st January) when Toby looked after us and I really like coming here and Toby was really really nice as he was very friendly and brilliant with us, but just a shame that rude girl at the entrance wasn’t nice otherwise I would’ve given our evening a 5 star but when Jenna took over she was nice and that’s why I’ve given the evening a 4 star.

Had a voucher as a Christmas present for five tapas and two cocktails. We arrived early but were still able to be seated immediately. We ordered our food and a drink and sat back to enjoy the live music ( they were brilliant). When the it arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the delicious food. The atmosphere of the whole place was buzzing and very enjoyable. The cocktails were just as good. A truly wonderful evening. A super present!!

Hi guys so we went to this restaurant for my sisters birthday and we a bad experience. The waitresses were really polite but the food was bad . I ordered tacos they were good but the steak was raw 🤮 disgusting right . The drinks were really good and refreshing

It is very sad to write this that in the modern world we have some racist people. Last friday i with my 3 other friends went to this place but we didnt get the entry because the guard said you are wearing too casual its that something. and i heard from the security guard they were talking to each other one guard said to another that dont let these asian in because we were 4 friend. i was really disappointed with that.

Called in on Sunday for a drink and lunch. There was not many people in but because we had a voucher decided to go with it. The place was not warm and when the food was served it all tasted nice but was not very warm. Disappointing overall

The restaurant/ bar is beautiful inside and you do feel like you are somewhere else. We made a reservation and got seated straightaway. There was music playing very loudly but we just had to talk louder. Then a band started to play which was really good. The waitress told us about happy hour and that I would be ending soon so had to order very soon. The cocktails was very nice but a lot of ice as expected. We got 5 dishes of tapas and some tacos. They all came together and was very nicely presented and tasted above average. Afterwards we ordered desserts which was really nice and the brownie was nice and moist. Overall it was a pleasant experience and would return again!

We live in Bristol and have traveled to Manchester to gigs but always come here for bottomless brunch as it is the best around! Staff are so attentive even on a busy Friday night and so worth the Money! Layla was amazing xx

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at Revolución de Cuba in Manchester on 18th January and had a fantastic experience overall. We booked a cocktail masterclass for ourselves and our friends, which was brilliantly run by Ed – an incredibly skilled bartender. What made the night even more special was incorporating a baby gender reveal into the celebration. A huge thank you to the team for going the extra mile by preparing gender-coloured shots for us to toast with after revealing the news using confetti cannons! One of the highlights of the cocktail class was that everyone could choose the drink they wanted to make rather than all having the same cocktail – such a great idea that added a personal touch to the experience. After the masterclass, we had a meal in the main restaurant, where the atmosphere was fantastic, thanks to a live band on stage. The food was delicious, the sangria was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. A lovely tradition we noticed was that the restaurant celebrated birthdays with a set of shots, fountain candles, and a "Happy Birthday" song played by the DJ. After seeing this happen for another guest, I asked if the same could be arranged for my husband. Our waiter was very professional and spoke with the DJ, who agreed to play the song after two tracks. However, when the waiter brought out the shots and candles as promised, the DJ never played the song. This left us in an awkward situation, as we had hoped to sing "Happy Birthday" together, but the music was too loud, and the moment felt lost. Wanting to make the night special, I approached the DJ myself to ask if he could play the song, as he had done for another guest just 20 minutes earlier. Unfortunately, he was extremely rude, dismissing my request with a laugh and refusing to play it again. Despite explaining that it was a separate birthday celebration, he showed no interest in listening. His attitude was particularly shocking, considering I was asking on behalf of someone celebrating a milestone birthday, and I was also visibly pregnant. Given that we had spent over £700 at the venue that evening, we expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer care. Thankfully, the sound controller nearby overheard the conversation and suggested I ask the band instead. The band was absolutely brilliant – while they couldn’t sing "Happy Birthday," they made a warm and official announcement, which truly saved the moment for us. A huge thank you to them! Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Revolución de Cuba, thanks to the excellent service from the bar, restaurant, and live music teams. However, the unprofessional behaviour of the DJ was disappointing and nearly overshadowed an otherwise fantastic night. I hope that management will consider selecting a more professional DJ in the future, as the incredible effort from the rest of the staff shouldn’t be let down by one individual.

Thank you for a wonderful evening on Sunday when we visited. The food was fantastic. The staff were lovely and attentive. The atmosphere was great. Made more special by the Dj playing the Mavericks, Dance the night away for us. We are already planning our next trip to Manchester and another visit to Revolucion! Thank you again. Some staff members need training on how to deal with customers... My husband and I have been very much regulars over the past few years, I've had my 30th, 31st birthdays and our wedding brunch, occasions on which we've spent more than £400 per visit plus regular biweekly date nights , when we spend more than £ 100 per visit ( mentioning this, as the staff member in question decided to let us know how they don't make money from us, see below for further info), regular bottomless brunches with friends. We have always been raving about the great food, atmosphere and service we've always received in this venue. We always pay the added service charge plus giving a generous tip to anyone who has looked after us. We both have been playing the online game for prizes throughout January, which resulted in us winning drinks vouchers on daily basis( 30 days for two people, you can imagine how many drinks vouchers we had). We decided to use some of the vouchers on the last day of the promotion (2nd Feb) and we went to the venue midday. My husband explained the situation to the bartender and asked if we are okay to use multiple vouchers if we order the same drink in bulk, so we don't cause trouble and the answer was yes. We didn't try to be sneaky and get away with it, we literally walked in, asked the question and we got told it was okay. We had our first round of drinks(quietly and tucked away in a corner, minding our own business) and my husband went to get the second round, while I was going to ask for a table for food and my husband came back said the following happened - a different bartender, a girl, has said to him " you are not allowed to use anymore vouchers, as it's 1 per person, per visit and you already have used 6( none of this is mentioned in t&c, but ok). This is £60 already lost for us, and if you use 4 more vouchers, that's £100 in total we should be getting from you, but we're not"... I'm sorry, what ???? Is this a way to talk to any customer, yet alone someone who's been using the venue for their most important life milestones? Like is this an actual thing staff say to people , especially with an attitude and face of someone who clearly hates their job?? Needless to say my husband just felt humiliated, and we left, as we were treated in absolutely ridiculous way. There is a way to deal with different situations and customers and there is a way to politely refuse service, but to say stuff like that is just extremely weird. Giving us a breakdown of what we should be spending and how much the company should be making from us? All she had to say was " per company police we can't redeem anymore vouchers, we apologise" and that would have been fine, we would have just paid for our drinks. Obviously we won't come back ( I know that a multi-million pound venue like this doesn't care about two people coming back or not, so eh, who cares, right ?), which is very disappointing, as this has genuinely been our favorite place in town. Only reason we give two stars is as the first bartender ( someone who has served us on numerous occasions) was as lovely as usual. Side note: we have visited the venue on two other occasions this January and both times we were allowed the use vouchers ( after confirming before ordering). We were given the options to use them with table service or the bar, both times we got told that it's not a problem. So what was the difference now ? It was the bartender girl who looked like she hated being there, pulled a face when my husband asked a question and was professional enough to let him know how she's not making money from us. That's it, that was the difference. We were graceful enough not to mention the fact that we have used vouchers on numerous occasions and not to complaint about the absolutely insane way my husband was talked to, so I guess she'd think she can just keep talking down to people as they don't matter. Please teach your staff how to communicate with people, as for some , going out is a special occasional treat and something like this would ruin a full experience.

Racist bouncer, do not go here. Went with a group of friends (I was the only non white person in the group) and the bouncer let them all in but refused to let me in because I was ‘too casual’ even though I was more dressed up than everyone else he was letting in. I then put a shirt on to look smarter and went to walk in with my mates who he’d already let in and when he saw they were with me, he refused to let them in. I wasn’t drunk at all so no other reason as to why he wouldn’t let me in. The rest of the bouncers then came over to intimidate me, awful place.

My friend and I were physically pushed out of the venue by staff despite the fact I was walking out of the premises.

Amazing friendly staff and very knowledgeable in regards to dietary requirements! Food was really good and cocktails were excellent! We went for the 5 tapas and 2 cocktail deal which was very affordable, I cant reccomend the pork belly bites and margaritas enough!

It is one of the Classy Pubs not only in Manchester.I have been there thrice and enjoy the environment there. Even their pubs in other places have been maintained to offer good service to customers. On New Year ,I was in Glasgow and asked two policemen for the best pub in the city.Suprisingly the one they suggested was also Revolucion.A Happy customer.

beautifully decorated building though i payed £10.50 for a cocktail that was 90% ice - i wouldn't mind the price if i didn't receive more ice than cocktail. Who thought that ice was so expensive? I most likely will return, but only during happy hour.

Terrible experience due to the unprofessional behavior of the security staff hired by the club. The guards were rude, refused to provide badge numbers as required by law, and one even attempted to push me out of the queue. Revolution de Cuba needs to carefully vet the security companies they hire, as this reflects poorly on the venue. Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend this place.

Food was amazing and the venue was cozy. The staff were also so friendly. We came here during January so there were lots of offers on so we over indulged on both food and drink. I'd definitely come back for more of the same.

Venue was really nice but unfortunately the door staff this venue had were Horrific. We left the venue on NYE as you can imagine the roads were ridiculously busy. Two door men used force Numerous of times towards myself and my friend. Force that resulted in a broken phone. Things could have been a lot more worse as we were shoved towards moving traffic! Spoken to like something off the bottom of someone’s shoe! Called “slags” slappers” you name it we got called it. All this happened because we were stood patiently waiting for our uber. As anyone would question why they were being shoved and aggressively told to move! Door men do not care about the safety of others neither do they have any form of respect or professionalism. Complain were made to both the venue and security company after seeing other people’s reviews and it seems these door man have done this multiple of times to other individuals. Both companies have also come up with different stories….. very disappointing.

We had a deal for 5 tapas dishes and 2 cocktails. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it, certainly not tiny portions at all. Cocktails were also tasty and well made. The atmosphere was wonderful, enjoyable music taking us back to bygone days and a complete mix of people enjoying eating, drinking and dancing. Such a versatile venue for a range of get togethers. Would definitely recommend.

The one place I can count on to have fire music and it was open on a Monday night! Didn’t try the food but got deals on the cocktails/shots.

Attended this venue after being at a United match and was allowed in with my jersey on me. Had a great time for over 90minutes and then a bouncer came over and dragged me out for wearing my jersey. He barely allowed me to retrieve my jacket and when I asked why I was allowed to wear it for the previous 90mins he wouldn’t answer me. Felt very let down by this as I have no issue with no jerseys being allowed but couldn’t understand why mine was allowed for so long before being asked to be removed. I ordered several drinks while wearing it and nothing was said. Seems like they were happy to take my money when it suited them!

I have been to this place multiple times and had a good time, but on Friday night I took my friends who came to visit me from London and the bouncer denied access to us even though we had Id and upon asking the reason he said " Because I Said So" which was rude and looked to be a racist thing and asked to get our of the queue. If he had a valid reason for denying us we would have left, but the kind of attitude the bouncer had is really bad not sure how the management is allowing employees to speak to it's customers like that.. Never gonna visit the place again

Appalling service tonight. Management clearly hadn't organised seating/standing arrangements and so a member of our party took it upon himself to help to clear a path for each tray that came through the crowd by politely asking people to move aside while trays passed through, which most staff were appreciative of. One particular member of staff, a white woman of larger build with brown hair decided to tell the bouncers that this member of our party was being aggressive, he was then evicted by bouncers. I can't help but think that this move was racially aggravated. After he was dragged outside, the majority of our party objected. I can't help but think that this wouldn't have happened if he was white. Having previously worked in hospitality for twelve years and managing similar venues throughout busy Christmas periods, I suggest that management has an in-depth discussion about racial stereotyping. The woman in question dismissed any sort of conversation regarding the matter and was incredibly rude. We are a group of teachers and will never give our custom to a racist establishment again. Absolutely disgraceful.

Arrived at Revolution de Cuba December 2024 during Xmas party season. I remember the buzz of pure electricity flowing through in the atmosphere. Drinks were fabulous, everyone was enjoying the night and the DJ was playing dance hit after dance hit, which meant we danced all night. Also, as its a Cuban bar, downstairs there is a real honest Cuban dance club with all the Dirty Dancing type moves and totally different amazing vibe. 100% would recommend Revolución de Cuba to anyone going out to have a great night, 2 in 1 amazing space to be, can't wait to go back.

Awful experience. Bouncers behaviour was shocking, aggressive and disgusting. One of them was extremely unprofessional. Would not return here, ruined a Christmas night out. Drinks are ridiculously priced too.

Horrible security! They wouldn't let me in wearing jeans and a sweater! When I asked why they wouldn't let me in, he just grabbed me and pushed me out of the line! Black security guards are horrible know! You may not be allowed in simply because the guards didn't like you

Went to Revolution de Cuba in Manchester on Friday, December 6th, and had the worst experience. I was dressed fine – simple shirt and black pants, nothing flashy but clean and presentable. Waited in the queue for 15 minutes, only for the bouncer to shout at me and kick me out of the line. No explanation, just attitude. When I asked why, he eventually said my “dress code” wasn’t acceptable – but then let two guys in wearing sportswear. Make it make sense! There’s nothing about a dress code on the website or anywhere at the venue. The whole thing felt like pure discrimination or a power trip. The bouncers were rude, unprofessional, and clearly don’t know how to do their job properly. If this is how you treat customers, you don’t deserve any. Don’t waste your time here unless you enjoy being disrespected.
