Bouncers are very rude and aggressive like they own the place, i have been going to this place for over 15 years but never experienced such behaviour like last night, from nowhere the bouncer pushed me near the bar area whilst passing by and when I pushed him back he kicked me out of the club, he physically abused me by pinching my back all the way till the door. I don’t know the name but he was a short Asian guy with a thin moustache

I must change my mind after some years the place is not as it used to be . Not great music , overpriced drinks and weird people. Security has some weird ways of judging who’s gonna be in too . Many better places in Manchester to have a nice night out. Plus place which was supposed to be a Latin music mostly, became some funny American music place . Not where the people want to spend time and the money . Not only my opinion and you can see it looking at the guests . Became a funny place not mentioning even drugs dealing there . Maybe you should focus more on that instead of not letting the regular people in

Great lively bar with lovely tapas

Rude bouncers. We were going to be let in, then another bouncer came along and told my son and his friend they were too casual…. only to let a load of other very casually dressed people in afterwards. Apparently this is a regular thing they do. Flexing their authority for absolutely no reason other than that they can. We are respectable people, It’s not exclusive and it’s not even that good by all accounts. Anyway, went to Albert Schloss, no issues and had a great evening the place was jumping, so worked out for the better.

Came expecting the taste of Cuba. Firstly we were served warm water. We ordered 5 items from the tapas menu and a main meal of stripped beef on a bed of rice. The beef was bland and watery, 4 of the tapas items were also tasteless. The chicken skewers were lovely. I will say, that the service by Ola was faultless, the staff are so helpful and happy. We will come again, mainly because of the apology for the food and the happy demeanour of Ola.

A great night out, lots of good music to dance to. We had food and thought it was very nice and the staff were brilliant.

One of the security staff came up to us and asked us to leave due to one of their off duty staff complain about us and they did not even bother to check their CCTV and even involved the police.

Absolutely awful place to attend. The staff are rude and after my wife not receiving the drink she wanted and we returned it they wouldn’t exchange it and accused us of trying to rip them off. They served us rum instead of vodka. Easy problem to solve. Really rude staff and don’t go there because they aren’t helpful at all!!

Booker a Big Night Out. Amazing service from the moment we queued outside. Our drinks were brought out promptly. The music downstairs in the club room was in point and there was a great crowd too.

Can't believe we haven't been here before what a great place food was delicious staff were helpful and friendly and the cocktails were amazing will definitely be going back here again.

Bouncers wouldn't let me in with my pals. I've never been more sober in my entire life and they just wanted to argue with the guy that's taller that 5ft2.

Went here for my sisters hen do. The food was great, the cocktails were tasty, and the live band they had that night were excellent. The atmosphere was great for partying.

Unsafe for women Friends were visiting and suspected their drink had been spiked (smelled and tasted funny, looked unusual). They spoke to the bouncers who proceeded to accuse them of lying, trying to ruin a man's life (they never actually said it was any specific person, just that they thought they had been spiked), lied and said the police had been and tested the drink (police confirmed they hadn't) and then kicked them out of the club. This is a completely unprofessional and dangerous way to behave in this day and age. The staff here would clearly try and cover up a potential targeting of women than actually deal with any problem that might be occuring in their premises. Avoid at all costs.

Before going to see Gipsy Kings we had an early Tapas and drinks meal great food and great service, the atmosphere was amazing and the live music fantastic. Thank you for a great pre concert experience

Racist bouncers avoid club! Not sure who it was but he was a tall dark skin bouncer refused everyone that was white. Place should be shut down will be taking it further. Laughed at us when we walked past hours later and showed us the finger

security are so unprofessional pushing customers absolutely awful don’t ever go the security guard pushed up out the door at into the rain just for taking shelter

It’s a good night out spot for all ages however the bouncers make this place a terrible experience for those who they don’t recognise. They let people who bribe them or recognise them to skip the line whereas the rest of us could stay in the line for over an hour. The tall bald bouncer does it the most.

I received the afternoon tea as a gift from work, we have been several times before and this place never disappoints. Fantastic atmosphere and the live music is just brilliant. Afternoon tea was delicious, really tasty and quick service. Looking forward to our next visit!

Went for afternoon tea at about 2pm. Service was good and there was a band on which was good fun! The savory food was good, the sweet food was quite sweet and I wasn't the biggest fan but that's more a reflection on my taste buds! Would recommend

Final Warning for looking through to VIP which at the time i didn't know it was VIP and curious as i only thought Rev de Cuba had two sections only. I was closing the curtain as it was mistakenly opened by someone who was dancing. This is my second time in Rev de Cuba. I was final warned by a bouncer for closing the curtain on the downstairs dance floor where it covered the VIP section. apologised for it even though i felt i was doing anything to be granted with a final warning. I then proceeded to carry on my night which me and my friends were enjoying but became uncomfortable with the bouncer who was just staring at me. I asked him if there was a problem as i had apologised which he said there will be. I felt threatened by this. I asked for his name as i wanted to make a complaint about him which he then covered up his SIS licence (which by law he should be showing this and not covering or removing). I asked another bouncer what his name was which he didn't know it. i asked a bouncer on the door can i speak to the manager, the manager refused to give me his own name and was so rude towards myself he said if you have a complaint email this email and i will respond tomorrow (still no response). I will never go back to Rev De Cuba again and seeing a lot of bad reviews this bar needs a shake up off staff who know how to treat paying customers with some respect.

My friend who is from Ireland got told by a bouncer to go back to Ireland and not come back. I have nothing against Revs but the bouncer really made me reevaluate the place if that is who they are choosing to have as a bouncer.

It's a very beautiful place and I like it very much. I would love to spend my vacation in this place and used to stay there for a long time, but these days when I go to this place, the gate guard stops me. to enter without any reason. I've never had a problem in this place before. I tried several times and my brother stopped me from entering. Log in and find out why

Reasonably priced drinks, good atmosphere, loads of seating. I enjoyed it. Will definitely be going again.

It was my birthday and they made such a fuss over that, garland collars around me and my guests, a card for me. The cocktails were so good we had two each, the food was OK, for dessert, they brought me a chocolate brownie to share with a candle. The bill was very moderate. We used the Tastecard scheme which gave us 25% off. BRILLIANT, WE WILL BE BACK!

Rev de Cuba Manchester's a total drug den (if that's your thing). Full of underage drinkers so great if you're not quite 18. Absolute joke door supervision. Management haven't a clue what really goes on with their own staff, but it all adds to the unpredictable atmosphere. The place to be if you like it like that.

When I was there it was fairly early in the evening, so things hadn't got going at this point in the Night .....

Trying to overcharge where they can I attended yesterday with my partner Valentine’s Day and I’ll grant you. They’ve gone to a bit of trouble putting Rose petals on the table and little heart-shaped chocolates at the reception. Food came. We ordered off the small card menu for lunchtime, chicken, Caesar salad and a barbecue pork dish that they didn’t have so we opted for two chicken Caesar salads. The food was sort of okay, but I’ve never had extremely spicy Caesar salad like this. to be frank, it was a bit ridiculous but of course it’s their bid to make you buy more drinks. I’m sure. The main problem I have with this place is it a witness the couple next door to me having to challenge their bill as they’d opted for some special deal, which involved four cocktails each, and instead of being charged I think was the £80 they were charged £155 a large amount of kerfuffle ensued to sort this out so when it came to getting my bill, I was wary it took quite some while to get the bill because staff were non-existent and sure enough when the bill turned up the chicken Caesar salad which should’ve been £8 including a free soft drink had now gone to some £27.55 each and my Coke was also charged for £3.50. They charged also for a black current and soda which technically should’ve been free because my partner opted to have a glass of wine. In fact three these added a further £5.98 service charge for a bill of £58. Of course, I don’t have that now, but they took it off me to them present me with another bill for £35, they taken the Coke away recharged the Caesar salad at £8 each but still left the blackcurrant and soda on there Ruining a totally nice late afternoon lunch for Valentine’s Day I’m not Shure folks whether they’re asking us to fund the Cuban revolution or not. Had a 5 tapas and cocktail meal. It was freezing cold in the restaurant and the food was okay at best. Cocktails were fine but nothing to write home about. Wouldn’t go back.

I regret to share a disappointing experience with the club's security and management. The lackluster security measures and ineffective management at the club fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, this impacted the overall enjoyment of my visit. The bouncers are extremely rude and won’t accept any conversation.

“Bri” was the name given to me but the bouncer told me I was “swaying” despite being teetotal which tells me everything I need to know about the place. The queue was busy and it seemed like ‘Bri’ was just trying to make the pathway a clearer area. If bosses are looking, the bloke was around 5ft 10. Blondish/brown hair. I suspect he was lying about the name

Bouncers are awful. Tried to go in with 2 friends and got turned away for being a “midget”. Then proceeded to let 20 people in after us. They’ve got a massive ego

You must change the security guards. They are very bad, especially those with long beards.

It's a nice night and Wednesday but you need to change the security because security who is giving him the money he jumped him of the queue if you're not and security look at you if he don't like you he get you off when you start saying you get the money from people and they jump him from the queue do not even let you come in any time I have people coming from Scotland for Latino night did not let us go and in with no reason so please a nice stuff

Bouncers were disgusting and aggressive for no reason. Went for a staff party and they were letting people in who are not from the company. Waitresses over-reacting and rude unnecessary.

I usually come here every frequently, however Saturday on arrival a pale bouncer with a scruffy beard refused me entry, saying “I’m too casually dressed”, which was ridiculous as I’ve been here over 100 times over the years… definitely had a hidden agenda. I didn’t complain, I just said okay and moved on. Soy Cubano, no rev, no party 👎🏽 Edit- there people dressed the exact same as me getting let in. Rubbish reply

We went here Friday 26th January. There was a band on and they were amazing. Unfortunately a girl tried to take my hand bag, I luckily saw her so I grabbed her hand, she replied with what are you doing and before I knew it she was gone. I noticed another person has reported having there phone stolen, I wonder if it was the same night? Sadly we left after this incident but prior to that we were having such a fun time dancing. I did let the door staff know. It Did put a downer on the night but so grateful I prevented her from taking it.

Saturday 27th of January time 11pm lots people coming with friend with I'd but door man was so rude I have been the night club so many times but I never get treated like this before. I really want take some actions against this people who's working in the main door.. He just rejected some people for no reason I did complain but they don't care

Got my phone stolen out of my actual bag in the premises, as have many other friends. Clearly a gang operating! Reported it but they never reached out with any information and didn’t seem to care! Avoid unless you’re willing to risk it

We are party of 16 who were looking forward to celebrating as we don’t come to Manchester often. Our experience of Revolution de Cuba in Manchester has been a disappointing from the moment we booked . It took us 26 emails going back and forward to sort out our afternoon. When we arrived we ordered drinks however when our first drinks arrived a drink was spilt down two of our party yet no one from management felt it appropriate to apologise. Ordering drinks for our party has been challenging, we paid in advance to obtain credit during a 2 hour window for our booking, yet service has been wanting and we struggled to spend the credit. Staff told our party we could not order more than one drink at a time even though we had already paid in advance. The delivery of our drinks was odd, some glasses full some glasses not so full (picture attached) Overall it’s put a black cloud over what should have been 16 friends enjoying a lovely day in manchester

Always excellent drinks here but unfortunately the food let it down on this occasion. 4 out of 6 tapas dishes were barely warm and verging on cold. Will return but will swerve the food next time sorry.

Came here for New Year’s Eve, we had a 8 person booth booked and shocking is a understatement We was given two tiny tables and that is not an exaggerated and 4 chairs, 4 chairs for a 8 person booking and 2 tiny tables, was pushed into some tiny enclosure with curtains packed like sardines is the best way to describe it, the best they could do was bring more stools which just made it a lot worse, we had paid £600+ for the packages and this booth and it just ruined the night. Would stay well clear

We visited at lunch time with our 4 kids. A live band was playing, the food was very delicious, the waiter was super friendly (especially with the kids). Fair prizes. We would come back any time.

In three words: Chaotic but fun! Great music, and hugely popular, so expect the sardine treatment (as in you'll be packed in like sardines 😅). Mad respect to the staff for managing the chaos and somehow finding a way to clear glasses!
