Yettis Kitchen in Salford

First time ordering from here I wanted to try Nigerian food, but I’ve got say I’m disappointed , I’ve just received my order less than 5min ago, to find 2 piece of meat inside the egusi soup, you cannot charge someone £18 for a plate of soup that’s not even full.

My wife and I had Efo riro and pounded yam here today. It was very delicious. The portion was also large. Good value for money

My first time and definitely would go again really nice food, I got the jerk chicken, rice and peas (which was actually kidney beans) and plantain. So flavourful and filling, soo good! Good service and can't recommend highly enough

We decided to go here on a fluke, and everything was gorgeous! The server was lovely and checked up on us a couple times to make sure we were okay with the food. Speaking of which, the food! Oh! The food was gorgeous, such a tasteful use of spice for the Jerk Chicken and it's the first time in ages I've been able to have platain. They do eat in and take away, and I will definitely be coming back again

Food is as salty as staff. Very bad service from staff all the time. Food was presented terrible. Payed £40 for it I expected the food to be packed well and not half spilt on the tin foil. Very bad. Never again.

To be sincere it is either there is a different definition for Asun.. I was not impressed at all. The Asun did not in any way taste like asun.

Visiting the area from Leeds with family. We found this place on google. The food and service was exceptional. Nice atmosphere. The jollof rice with stewed beef was expertly prepared. Suya was perfect. All food had generous portions. I will definitely visit again.

I stopped by here for lunch while waiting to get some work done on my car. The food was wholesome, aromatic and full of flavour. I had the jollof rice with suya beef and it was delicious! I do recommend. If you like African food or just want something different. Why not give it a try

I have wanted to try this place for ages now and today i received a menu through the door so was excited to try it planned a nice chilled out night and planned on getting some good food so i arrived 6 o'clock young girl to busy moaning about working to another man (friend) ignoring me so finally told her my order 2x curry goat rice and peas to be told no i can only have one i asked why and she said im not making anymore today you can have jerk chicken i said no i wanted curry goat her reply was well you can have one today and come back tomorrow for another one i said never mind and left put me off returning to be honest definitely needs some customer service training

The lady that attended to us was warm and cordial. Also gave complimentary drinks and the ambience was nice. The food too was really good especially their beef suya. 10/10

Immense. Wanted to try here many times and just never got round to it. Tonight was the night, and well worth waiting for. Plenty of food in the portion of jerk chicken, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Great value for money too. I'll be back, as someone once said.

Lovely food. Definitely worth trying the Jerk chicken with the rice and peas, full of flavour, I had gravy too and that was divine. I also tried the beef Suya, just to keep in mind the meat is dipped in some sort of chilli powder, anyone who can handle their spice will be able to tolerate it, that being said, it was beautiful, soft and full of flavour. Definitely would recommend!

Food isn’t fresh it was frozen and warmed up. The meat was chewy to the point it wasn’t edible and dry. Plantain wasn’t fresh either nor was the rice. Didn’t even make it home without being sick I wish I’d have taken a picture 🤢

Great home-cooked Nigerian and Caribbean food with warm service at very reasonable prices. I had plantain for the first time and absolutely loved it. The curry goat and pepper soup were amazing too. I'll definitely be back for the jerk chicken: the fellow on the next table had it and it looked delicious.

Extortionate prices yet stingy with their portion sizes. Firstly, I ordered peppered turkey with jollof but they gave me white rice instead. Secondly, the ratio of sauce to rice was an absolute joke. Will never be ordering from here again.

Unbelievable restaurant, the food was incredible. Delicious and cooked to complete satisfaction. I arrived a little late but the ladies gave great customer service and allowed extra time to eat even though they were due to close. Massive respect definitely will eat here again.

Had jerk chicken and it was awesome. Couldn’t have ask for a better meal. Well prepared and spicy.

Jerk chicken combo box. Plantain was excellent. Jerk chicken tasty and flavoursome. Rice and peas, fluffy and cooked just right. Dumpling was more of a cake taste and texture but you know what I liked it. I'll be back for sure.

Just had the most delicious Jollof rice with succulent beef and plantain at this little gem in Eccles. They will be launching another branch in Printworks on the 28th August this year, wish them all the success ! Great food, great service.

Disappointed as waited a long time for food and was looking forward to trying here, chicken was nice enough but so dry with all the rice and the tiny spoonful of gravy given! Maybe as was just about to shut as when I went back as one of meals had no gravy at all on it the shop was closed! Wouldn’t mind if gravy was on it would have been really nice aswell🤦‍♂️

Hi Yetti, As I sit here eating leftovers from last night, I just wanted to say a huge thank you once again for your service. Over 6 months since I first contacted you and at all times you were so professional and replied promptly. The food was amazing, I really loved the plantain bruschettas, suya and jollof rice especially. The portions!!!! My goodness, I ordered food for 15 and we could probably have fed 50! We were able to make sure all our guests had generous portions and plenty to take home for all of us. Lastly, the food came on time and even when it arrived slightly later than projected, I was politely informed. The personalised birthday card that came with it was also a nice touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to book you ten times over!

I bought the ewa goyin and I must say it was well worth. The portion was good for the price, the package was neat and the place was clean.

I really really enjoyed the food from here. Ordered on just eat a few weeks ago and the food remained piping hot for about an hour after delivery. The meats tasted smoky & authentic so really enjoyed it. If ordering order in plenty of time though!

The pies are to die for! i had the meat pie and the curry pie, and you can tell its not wholesale quality. proper portions of meat in it and i could have eaten the crust only even if it contained no meat. Thats how delicious it was

Great catering service provider. We had 300 guests for our wedding and yettis kitchen provided a buffet service to our guests. She even threw in a surprise of Apple pies and ice cream which i wasnt expecting, but the children at my wedding loved it. Will recommend them for weddings or any catering jobs.

Would recommend This restaurant is practically on my door step but for some reason I've only been once before this. After another fabulous meal I'm definitely going to make sure I eat here more often.

Great food 😀 I have been here A good few times with friends and family and would go again in the day it is child friendly and a quite place to relax there are a few Nigerian restaurants in Manchester, but this stands out and the only one I would take my family to, and do so -regularly!

Nice variety of african food, great selection of drinks. Looks like the bar is lit during weekends too. Staff is always polite and food is prepared quickly. Parking there is a nightmare but thats for those who dont know the area well. I usually park on the side road, and there are lots of parking spaces there. Maybe the restaurants needs to have a sign outside to show new customers this!. However, its never stopped me from going there to enjoy an african dish when im craving one lol

By far the biggest fish i have eaten. I ordered the XL CROAKER and jellof rice. WOW is all i can say. It was soo big i had to ask the delivery driver if it was a baby. It also tasted awesome. Its become my new favourite!

Poor. Stodgy, tasteless, bland and low quality. 'Flatbread' was seemingly a supermarket pitta bread. Very disappointed, would not return.

i have been there several times before, a great place to be.

I've got a fetish for vegan food and this place gets me hot! This was one of the best Veggie burger i have had in a long time. The decor was unique and incredible. Everything was just so yummy. 5 stars!

Yesterday I ate @yettiskitchen for the first time & I have to say it was one of the nicest dining out experience i have had in 2019. The establishment was clean, customer service was friendly, full of good banter, Good value for money & most importantly the food was perfectly cooked and delicious! It was 1st time ordering the Pepper Fish Soup, And the waitress kindly added a complimentary side of dish Yam chips which was a great addition to the soup. Just got a takeaway. What a great change, loved it! Had Suya for the first time: grilled lamb chops rubbed in warming spices and herbs (rosemary?), intense tomatoey Jollof rice with stew, and amazing curry goat with rice and peas - a combination of brightly spiced sweet goat meat and incredible smokey rice and kidney beans. Definitely coming back, will eat in next time.

Food was absolutely delicious.We had Nigerian meal.We use Groupon voucher and we didn't had any problems with be treated differently. Actually we was treat with so nice chat... stories ...We definitely coming back there very soon for try more delicious dishes :) Grupon Voucher was a good choice for gain our trust and try ...Now with pleasure I will pay full amount because definitely this business deserves be treat with respect which we get when we get there .. This place is the rudest place I have ever been to. Came in, was welcomed with menu and as soon as I handed in the Groupon voucher, I was told to get out even though we had the table booked in a advance and it was empty

We had an amazing experience here yesterday. The food was delicious and affordable! Yetti herself was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Decor was beautiful too, a blend of traditional and modern elements. Overall I would 100% recommend you visit here, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely interior design, fantastic music, great vibe from Yetti and nice tasting food. Very unique to have African cuisine in the U.K., and it was definitely worth it. Good prices as well!
