Phone lines are no use as no one answers them! Don't have a option for delivery which is REALLY annoying!! Food overpriced and staff are always too busy to serve which means you have to wait ages.. not such a good place

Very busy shop with stock standard kosher delicacies. My smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel was fresh and pleasant tasting. Honest, no surprises, cheap and cheerful food

I went there twice and was satisfied. Brackmans is primarily a bakery with a cafe. My main reservation is that there are never enough staff. No table order service, so order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The food is of perfectly reasonable quality and the price is good for what you get. The staff are friendly and helpful. Ambience is pleasant and the place is clean and well-maintained. Plus it's a good place to meet people you know. Worth a visit.

I had another enjoyable experience in Brackmans today because of the friendly staff, the community atmosphere, the tasty salmon and cheese bagel, and the great cappuccino! My family also enjoyed the cakes I brought home for them, so thanks to all the team and customers there.

The best hamentashen in Manchester. The only bakery that sells the real thing, big pastry triangles stuffed with poppy seed, not the nasty little chocolate filled triangles.

Brackmans is a kosher bakery / coffee shop where you cam either stop by and get something to taje out, or sit in. There is seating at the back of the shop, or depending on the weather, outside. There are often long queues, depending on when you go. There is a wheelchair ramp making Brackmans accessible for everyone.

Somethings never change. I live in the States, but grew up in Prestwich. The pastries and bread are as good today as they were 40 year's ago! Best bakery I've ever been too. Including little Italy in San Francisco!

The place tends to be understaffed and you have to book at the counter, so there's always a bit of a wait. With that, the staff are very pleasant although always too busy. The food is very good and so is the ambience. It's a great place for meeting acquaintances if you know people in the area.

Fabulous Job!!!! I ordered a birthday cake for my mums 70th birthday on Sunday 9th for Tuesday the 11th, the woman I spoke to was very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for me. Brackmans produced a fabulous cake which went down a treat, It looked great and tasted amazing. Thank you to everyone at Brackmans for producing an outstanding cake in such a short timeline and for phenomenal customer service. Will definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family

My family and I love this place. Fantastic value for money especially the Brackman breakfast served before 11am. They do a lovely range of fresh cream cakes and the table service is friendly and efficient.

Although I am not not Jewish, my friend who is took me there for my birthday and the tuna salad was fantastic. They also do the best coffee and mince pies. I would recommend Brackmans to anyone.

If your not Jewish, don't bother using them. Staff are racist and will ignore you until you leave the store while happily serving fellow Jewish customers around you. It's 2021, everyone should be treated fairly regardless of race or religion.

Absolute amazing bakery! Really nice food such as croissants, biscuits éclairs, muffins, pizza and jam tarts. Also serve coffee, hot chocolate, ice cream and ice coffee. Would definitely recommend for lunch or breakfast. Reasonable prices.

I go to this restaurant often! This is my favorite restaurant to grab a bite. I go to this spot regularly. The meals are great, the staff members are professional and the prices are decent. I enjoy going in this spot over a tasty dinner.

called into this coffee shop today for the first time as I was visiting the area - the bagels and cakes were excellent. Spotlessly clean with warm welcoming staff......Loved it!!!!

It's a sweet quaint place. Good Food but the workers are very very slow service time with six people can take forty five minutes !!!

When you go into this bakery you don't know whether they're going to serve you or not serve you but they do serve you and if you have tea or coffee you think I'm never going to get it but you do get it and the service is very good the food looks excellent and it tastes excellent I would recommend this it is an experience but don't worry about what way the door opens or whether they say hello or goodbye to you it is good go for it.

Clean, quickly served and tasty food with helpful staff

I go every week for a bread, and quite often buy cheese buns, and at a certain time of the year when it’s a festival they make poppy seed buns and. They are the best in Manchester.

I didn't eat in the coffee shop at this bakery - purchase all my bread needs and had a very special request recently. My daughter who has Crohn's disease is unable to tolerate gluten, dairy and soya. I asked the Proprietor if a birthday could be made for her excluding these items. Apparently it was not a problem. This evening at a celebratory meal it was not only my daughter who partook of that cake - we all enjoyed it tremendously - it was beautiful. So thank you Andrew for "going the extra mile".

Great bakery. Love getting my warm Bagels on a Sunday morning. Cannot beat them. Forget the 2nd rate Bagels from supermarkets, get them from here, you won't regret it. Plenty of other goodies available too. The cherry scones are to die for!!

Great for fabulous Sunday morning bagels

We ordered catering long-distance for a Saturday night party I was making in Manchester during my recent stay there. We ordered mezonot bagels filled with salmon, tuna and egg; a selection of miniture cakes and a birthday cake. All was exceptionally good and fresh. We also had breakfast there on two occasions - the service is "heimish" but the quality was good and the staff were excellent.

Good service from the staff. Very clean with a large variety of food. Great coffee.

Consistent and staff always very welcoming. Great place to take the kids for a small treat when they deserve it.

My review is based on several recent satisfactory trips to Brackmans. Staff friendly, place clean, good venue to meet people. Decent selection of sandwiches, rolls, salads and hot meals. Average pizza. Decent as a coffee shop. Price is average and quality of food above average. The tuna salads are good and decent value for money.

They serve the best kosher cream cakea in town! (And lots of tasty other things too!)
