I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Turtle Bay, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. Frank – The Cocktail Maestro Frank, the bartender, is an artist behind the bar. His cocktail craftsmanship is next-level, and his creation of the “One Love” cocktail was nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and packed with flavor, it was easily one of the best drinks I’ve had. His attention to detail, passion for mixology, and ability to make every customer feel welcome made the experience even better. Manager G – The Heart of the House G, the manager, is the kind of leader every venue needs. Warm, charismatic, and effortlessly keeping the place running smoothly, she ensures that every guest feels valued. It’s clear that her energy and dedication set the tone for the amazing service that Turtle Bay delivers. Varun – A Head Chef Who Delivers Perfection The food? Absolutely unreal. Head Chef Varun knows exactly how to bring out bold, authentic Caribbean flavors that leave you wanting more. Every dish was packed with spice, depth, and that signature island soul that makes Turtle Bay a standout. You can tell there’s real passion behind the food, and that comes down to Varun’s skill and dedication. If you’re looking for a place with exceptional cocktails, incredible food, and a team that makes you feel like family, Turtle Bay is the spot. I’d have called this “good”, but Tripadvisors strange system doesn’t have that. It goes from 3* “average” to 4* “very good” - and this was not very good. The food was mostly okay. The chicken burger was overdone, too crispy, too tough and hard to eat. Other food - and choice of drinks - was fine. Service processes need looking at. Left waiting 15 minutes before we asked a server if we could order drinks - she thought someone else was covering our table. Similar at the end of the meal - had to chase the bill we’d asked for - after about ten minutes of being sat at the table waiting to leave. From memory, service efficiencies weren’t great in our previous visit here.

Popped in on the off chance as we were staying locally at the fishing lakes nearby. Glad we did , very friendly atmosphere, lovely owners & young man who served us at the bar was very helpful . Table games and a dart board were great addition ( haven't played ' shut the box ' for years ) food was very tasty & meat & vegetarian options available. The steak was delicious. Lovely country pub . Dog friendly too. Had a nice evening. Thankyou. X

This is authentic Caribbean Guyanese food. Food tastes good - freshly prepared and full If flavour. The service is excellent and you feel transported to a warmer, happy place. Well done Ms. Faye and her staff. Curry mutton highly recommended

Well this was our first visit and definitely not the last time . We were made so welcome by a lovely young lady called Ella . Our visit was due to my friends 60th birthday .The food was excellent and the service was to a very high standard well done to the Townhouse

Bloody good food makes me smile every time, jerk chicken and a pint can’t beat it, the smell of the bbq that fills streets all year round pulls me back to buffalo soul ja every time, I fancy something tasty and spicy 👍🏻

Jerk chicken and curried mutton were both outstanding. Great portion size!! The rice and peas were perfect
