Really great environment, great food and all round great establishment. Highly recommend for couple date night or family get together.

We had booked a roast Sunday meal through TheFork and were greeted warmly even though we were 15 minutes early. The wait was short. Our goat curry and jerk chicken were very tasty and so were the veggies on the side. I could eat their broccoli every day! Our waiter Declan was quite friendly, just perfect. The music was not too loud either. We'll be back.

Food was okay but service topped off the experience. Tiger prawns hit the spot and Declan (The waiter) came with the 10/10 customer service. Would recommend

Fantastic tasty food at a very reasonable price. I had Sunday dinner...with mutton curry..absolutely delicious! Nice and tasty/spicy...without being hot. Dumpling and Yorks pud cooked to perfection. Veg, crisp and tasty. Ambience/decor...clean, bright, relaxed and chilled out. Music pleasant and upbeat, without being overwhelming. Staff..courteous and attentive...without being 'in your face'. Verdict: a good experience and will definitely return with others. Oh n price? £20 for a fab wholesome meal including drink! Can't go wrong! I've been coming here for a while now, the food is always amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the rum cocktails are a must.

My friends and I booked the RnB Brunch at Jamrock and we really enjoyed everything. The restaurant has a good vibe, staff are really welcoming and attentive. The food was amazing, I would advise people to buy extra sides to go with your meal. They have a nice selection of sides. Mac and cheese, plantain, steam veg etc The fried dumplings were 10/10! The drinks tasted amazing, if you like Wray and Nephew you will definitely taste it in the rum punch !!!! I would stayer longer if there were djs etc but enjoyed all the music that was played throughout the brunch. Overall excellent service from start to end I will be booking again! :)

I went to Jamrock for my birthday and had a brilliant time. The service was great! The food was great! The drinks never stopped coming. The music and vibe was great. The staff were excellent. I fully recommend Jamrock!

I came to visit some friends from London and must say I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant – the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

If there was a star for poor I would given them that. We waited over 40 mins for the food which wasn't even that good. When she came over to take the money I thought she was having a laugh. I said I wasn't happy that the food took over 40 mins and she just looked at me with a Blake look on her face. If I had known the food would have taken that long I would have been happy to go to McDonald's.

The drinks were nice. Staff were friendly however the food took the absolute piss to come. You'd think they were bringing it over from Jamaica. We was waiting for 40 minutes for our food. Forget ordering side plates because they ain't coming any quicker. They either are cooking the food one at a time or have sloths working in the kitchen.

Great vibe and friendly service. Had the Ackee Salt Fish. Possibly the tastiest thing I've ever eaten. So impressed I stayed for a bowl of seaside fries and another pint of Jamaican lager.

Visited for a friends birthday for a bottomless brunch. Friendly staff and a really good portion of food for a bottomless brunch, tasted great too. We decided to do the cocktail upgrade but the drinks took so long to arrive we had empty glasses quite often which was a little disappointing. Had to catch the staffs attention a few times to actually order the drinks as they didn’t notice we were empty. Would however visit again to give it another try as the food was so good!

Food was really nice. My only criticism is that the music was so loud that it was hard to have a conversation while eating without shouting

Visited with a friend for the first time Friday 19/04, and will definitely be returning. We do brunch a few times a year, always someplace different, and we both agreed that Jamrock has taken the first place and is the best one we have had. Despite the fact that the website states "all weekend" and our booking was taken for Sunday, we were told on arrival that they don't do bottomless brunch on Sundays. However, they agreed to do it for us anyway, and the jerk chicken and sides were delicious, especially the rice.

The food was tasty and I enjoyed the DJ but the service was poor. We had to wait around for 15 minutes for your table and then another 10 to be asked for a drink. The food arrived in a strange order so my friend was eating before the rest of our meals arrived. We also received forks but had to ask twice to have knives. The chicken was tasty and I loved the dumplings but the service let it down. I probably wouldn’t return.

Booked the bottomless brunch for my birthday and I can't thank our servers enough. Archie and Malaika (sorry if that's not spelt correctly) we're amazing! Big smiles very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. Food was lovely especially the patties and mac n cheese and the cocktails! What can I say! Thank you and I will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely gorgeous, would highly recommend the classic platter, includes all sorts including the curried goat & jerk chicken, fried plantain, rice & peas etc. we also ordered the seasoned fries and jerk prawns, again all perfect. Ordered a couple of Inches ciders and they tasted pretty weak (unusual for this brand really), but to be honest we didn’t mention it at the time so can’t knock the rating down for this as I’m sure it would’ve been sorted. Will 100% be returning very soon!

I visited after a recommendation from a colleague. Went there for their Valentine’s Day special with family. There was a slight delay on the meals, which we quite expected as it was a full house when we got in. But the food and everything else that followed was definitely worth the wait. My starter was the Jerk Wings, Then Curry Goat and Dessert was their cheese cake. I would give 5 stars on any other day perhaps. Will visit again

Booked for valentines meal 6.30, didn’t get a drink until 7.30 after asking twice if our order had gone through, asked 5 times if our order had gone through properly as others were being served food before us.. ended up walking out at 8pm with no food & no apology. We wernt the only ones unhappy, really had high hopes for here but sadly would not recommend

Brilliant service, great drinks and delicious food - what more can you ask for! Between us we had the curry goat lunch bowl and jerk chicken lunch bowl with the patties and ackee as sides.

Fantastic authentic Caribbean food. We had the Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken platter with a healthy portion of rice and peas. Also had the beef patties which had the perfect crispy outside. Some slight hiccups with delay in getting the patties and we had to chase up one of the drinks a couple of times hence the not quite 5 stars. Definitely recommend.

The wife and I went here on Saturday night at 8. We had booked but there was still a few vacant tables. It's not a restaurant in the traditional way, more of a bar really, in my opinion this made for a more enjoyable night and a better vibe. Yes the music is loud, but not too loud for me and I'm 55 ;o) Service was friendly and helpful, drinks were nicely made. We had the platter of Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken to share, it was very nice and tasty. We added extra hotness with Bajun sauce. I'm sure that we will return.

Jerk chicken was cold had to wait ages for the food only one guy making drinks and started giving us pitchers which had no alcohol in them because I stood and watched him make them ! Food is nice even if it was cold my friends had curry goat which was hot. Stick to wine and Prosecco pints etc if you go on the brunch otherwise it’s fruit juice !

We were attending an event at the Leeds Playhouse so were pleased to discover Jamrock serving Caribbean food close by. Jamrock is a funky eating place and the colourful neon lights create the right atmosphere. There is not a huge choice of food and my choice of Pepper Steak wasn't available anymore despite being on the menu. Instead I went for the Jerk Chicken which came with a lovely smoky sauce. The rice and beans and salad accompanied it well. My son had the Ackee & Saltfish and enjoyed it. Service was swift and prices reasonable. Personally I much preferred the Caribbean food and flavours at Jamrock to Turtle Bay so why not give it a try.

I recently visited with some friends for an early dinner. Pros - good portions and most of the food was tasty. Cons - Music was very loud, we kept having to shout to have a conversation. the beer was warm. It's a good restaurant but it's very strange trying to eat when you've got groups dancing around you to extremely loud music which would be more suitable for a bar/club.
