Real Jamaican food from a true yard man!!!

Really disappointed... walked through Leeds looking for this place. Wish we hadn't bothered. Portion size was terrible, doner meat tasted of grease and tasteless, left 90% of it. Only good thing was the fries.... Staff told us they'd been given their notice and the place was closing - just aswell serving food like that.. absolutely awful 🤮

Cuando reservé esto, unas 3 semanas antes de nuestra visita, noté en el formulario de reserva que soy alérgico a la fresa y pregunté si digamos mermelada de frambuesa podría ser proporcionada. Llamé 2 días antes de nuestra llegada y se confirmó que eran conscientes de mi alergia, lo mismo sucedió cuando llegamos en el día. Cuando llegamos a nuestra mesa, la camarera preguntó qué bebidas nos gustaría, mis burbujas amigas llegaron poco después, luego llegó nuestro té y café, pero mi cóctel tardó casi 20 minutos en llegar, a pesar de perseguir. Tuve que recordarle a la camarera sobre mi alergia, ella regresó para decir que no tenían mermelada de frambuesa, pero yo podría tener mermelada o miel! Teniendo en cuenta que este es un hotel, me sorprende que solo ofrezcan mermelada o mermelada de fresa. También el hecho de que he avisado con suficiente antelación, me parece muy pobre. Otras personas en la habitación también tuvieron que perseguir a la camarera por bebidas. La comida era deliciosa.

The restaurant is family friendly and has lovely ambience. Food is delicious and service is good. Had a great time here.

Poor Preparation lead to a Piss Poor Performance! Meals at The Granary used to be fantastic, the venue used to be immaculate and you would always receive excellent customer service. My visit today with my family was totally the opposite, in fact it was disgraceful. My parents booked as it was my grandfather’s 85th birthday and we as a family were expecting the same standards that we had experienced here previously. Our booking had been made a few weeks prior yet the organisation and preparation was disgraceful. Upon arrival we were shown to our tables in the restaurant, nobody else was in the restaurant except our party and a table of three (this should’ve rang alarm bells as it was 1pm on a Sunday). Once we were seated it was obvious that no attention to detail had been taken in presenting the table, basic items such as napkins were missing. We were expecting someone to take our drinks order and were then told, “there’s the table water, if you want any other drinks you can go to the bar” The starters were served, soup was luke warm. Main course arrived with vegetables placed upon the table and again, luke warm. One of our guests was 4 years old and was left without a meal, not one single member of staff used their initiative to investigate why he hadn’t got a meal. It was only when a member of staff was informed that the meal was missing they sorted it. (This is basic stuff!) A portion of peas had been requested via email and telephone with one of the meals, this was missing! Even after informing staff at the start of the main course the peas never materialised (peas take 2-4 minutes in a microwave from frozen) Towards the end of the main meal one of the guests noticed that the stuffing was missing from the roast chicken dinners, the member of staffs response was “oh yeah the chef left it on the side and forgot about it” Deserts were served and the apple crumble and custards were cold! The party leader was assured at the end of the meal that the manager would be informed and they will be in touch, lets hope this happens. Overall our experience was awful and to say we were extremely disappointed is an understatement.

Lovely cafe with excellent food. The bacon and sausage buttie on home made bread is one if the best brekkie butties i have ever had.

We stopped by here today and had a lovely chat with the owner and her son. The store is inviting and service was kind and refreshing. We ordered a large curry mutton with white rice, a large stew chicken with rice & peas and a festival dumpling. Total came to £26.50 This amount of food generously served 2 adults and 1 child. We've even got leftovers for later. We'll definitely come back again, hopefully soon! :)

Fell down the stairs due to the floor being wet with no sign, raised my concern with the owners and was completely dismissed as they pointed the finger at me. (I wasn’t asking for anything other than an apology) My mum and others I am aware of have also been forcefully removed by bouncers with no reason or explanation. Not a very nice place.

Abbiamo ritirato l'auto a noleggio dalla Sixt che aveva il desk al Sofitel. Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo veloce e abbiamo mangiato bene, con un buon servizio

An absolutely lovely pub serving great food and lovely beers, the owner/chef/barman/waiter was great and witty to boot

I can remember camping nearby with family and going to the Tredrea since the seventies. The area has remained amazingly unspoiled after fifty years, but even here change is inevitable. The Tredrea has closed and will be missed by us, good memories of having a pint with that wonderful view. I hope the area continues to change as slowly over the next fifty years to preserve this magic areabas long as possible.

The Punch and Judy( as was, now does not seem to have a name) reopened today after a ‘refurbishment’. Still grubby, the toilets still stink of urine. Not impressed.

Interesting place, just a shame the assumed owner was very rude and made us all feel very unwelcome. Will not be returning nor recommending to other friends and family. We don't appear to be the 1st people to have experienced this.
