Really disappointed... walked through Leeds looking for this place. Wish we hadn't bothered. Portion size was terrible, doner meat tasted of grease and tasteless, left 90% of it. Only good thing was the fries.... Staff told us they'd been given their notice and the place was closing - just aswell serving food like that.. absolutely awful 🤮

Called up 3 times about a picture missing from my wallet when id visited and mistakenly left it on the table Manager had a really bad attitude and ended the call saying she didn't really care about the issue terrible service wont be using them again !!!!!!

Terrible service. After waiting 40 min for wrp server saying more time. When i asked its been almost 40min guy with black cap and glass said take your refund and go. This things happen Wow.

I ate here for lunch the food was okay, nothing special, but for £8.95 I wasn't expecting much. The issue I had was the service, mainly the speed, which was severely lacking. I must have waited in excess of 20 minutes for meat, chips and salad in a box. I think the issue is the setup, they don't seem to be organised for speed. I watched the chap in the meat section meticulously weigh out meat portions. I have no issue with portion control but this seemed to add unnecessary friction, what's an extra gram of Donner meat 😂. Once my food arrived it was lukewarm as it had been ready to serve for a while but due to the unorganised and chaotic set-up, it took a while for it was brought over to me. The portion size was good (even if it was weighed to the gram) but it would have been nicer if it were hot. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place, it takes too long for average food to arrive. ⭐⭐

Best tasting doner meat I've had in this country by far. When food was ready (I got the doner meal) I thought portion of meat was a bit small but it was so tasty and filling. If there had been more meat in I probably would of struggled to finish it. Also the lemon pepper fries that came with meal were gorgeous. Will be going back again even though its 50 miles from home.

Came for a quick bite for lunch, more than enough food and great value money as £12 for main, fries and a drink.

Highly recommend this fast-food chain. I've been there a couple of times now. The staff is friendly and polite! I absolutely loved their chicken shawarma kebab; adding cheese is a must. The pita bread is always crispy to my liking, and the lemon pepper fries are superbly tasty. Their chicken schnitzel bites coated in BBQ and habanero sauce are my favourites, although I wish this finger food could be cheaper, considering its size. Overall, it was still a delicious meal for me and my partner. We will be back for more!

Pretty good kebab there’s more salad and bread than meat but does taste good. Actually pretty spicy if you get the chilli sauce. The fries were good. Server was really helpful

Food was terrible ordered chicken shwarma and it was just fat no meat i have never complained be for but took it back and told bring another one over they brought another one and u could of put on table spoon 3 small pieces of meat so terrible service looked over and seen girl chopping meat up so small that looked like she had alot off aggressive if I took out to give homeless they would have thought I was taking the piss out of them don't recommend to anyone going there save your money not even worth one star

Not to my taste Donner was too thick for my liking Salad n fries were nice. Can of coac cola can was £2.40 70p per dip not included Overall, it was overpriced. Service was very good, lovley workers.

It was my first time at Doner Shack and I really loved my experience particularly the customer service. I’d like to commend their staff (I believe she’s Singaporean) for being so friendly and welcoming!

I came here on Saturday 3rd Feb for a quick bite before going shopping. The best shop this would compare to is GDK. Pros: - Chilli sauce was nice (Garlic however wasn’t) - Portion size was reasonable - Seating was available very close to restaurant Cons: - Kebab was over done and very chewy - Tap water (which isn’t paid for) was pretty much warm water, I know this isn’t paid for, but considering it’s in a cheap party cup, atleast could’ve been cold. - Personally the food was not enjoyable and a big downgrade when compared to GDK. Rating: 2/5

Went on a Monday evening; Trinity was dead and there was no queue; server didn't speak the best English but was pleasant enough. Meal took a surprising amount of time to arrive considering I was the only customer. But maybe I am used to 'take-away' donners and not restaurant ones.. My meal: I had the donner wrap and got upsold into a meal deal (listed £12.50 on menu). The donner wrap was meant to have both chilli and garlic sauce & all vegetables included, although the wrap was dry - with no sauce that I could taste. Although I asked for all vegetables I assumed I wouldn't be left with just a lone slice of donner meat throughout the whole wrap which was a disappointment - should have been sold as a vegetable wrap at that point. Whoever assembled it up also decided to include the paper in the wrap itself so had to deconstruct it and rewrap it as to not eat the paper... The fries were nothing special; not salted or seasoned in anyway. Luckily had chilli garlic dip which was nice... Paid £13.30.. Not sure what made it 80p more than listed price, maybe the Dip? Which was the highlight of the meal so can't complain.

They have a great frontage with great looking chicken lamb etc, but this is a façade, very disappointed with what I was served, they give you a buzzer to take to your table, so you can’t see them prepare the food, because they serve 90% salad and only 5 - 10% chicken. Not worth it, my opinion is daylight robbery at £7.50 for a chicken kebab, will not use again ever.

After a busy and cold morning shopping we wanted something to fill (and warm) us up! Ordering at the till and provided with buzzers, the good came out quickly and was very tasty and hot. I just think the price of the meal (with chips and a can of pop) is a little too expensive compared to the kebab on its own and can’t really be justified. Other than that, a lovely lunch in a great spot in Leeds and we’d definitely go back!

Just ordered on deliveroo, they waited 45 minutes to then cancel my order with 0 explanation. Disappointed.

Recently visited this place, had doner kababs, the taste was OK. The quantity served for the price was less, compared to other shawarma places nearby. They offer a good variety of sauces.

Pathetic service rendered by this eatery. Be prepared for shocks n surprises, when you order from here, they ll not deliver every item that you've ordered. In my case, not once but twice they missed the items I ordered, leading to panic & ordering again from another restaurant. Hotel staff are casual about it,may be it happens all the time. Overall one of the worst places to order

Male worker very angry and aggresive, swearing multiple times in every sentence (the system for payment mustve been down), then smacking his hands down on the counter and shouting at his colleges and then telling me and the other people in the queue to p'ss off, and they have no contact email for complaints or anything. disgusting people, ridiculous prices, disgusting food

I visit Döner Shack often with my son because we like the food there. The staff are always smiling and create a nice atmosphere, always polite and helpful. Super happy with staffs patience. I know that some customers can be unpleasant and the word thank you or please borders with a miracle but I was impressed by an employee, I think his name was Dan as I heard someone call him that. I saw him serve someone before me. He showed the upmost patience and politeness. Well done to the Döner Shack team! Keep it up, and I Wil keep coming back because you guys are infectious with optimism!

Tasty food but took a while to arrive and portions are smaller than they used to be. But overall a lovely bite to eat after spending a fortune at ann summers.

Organisation skills need some serious work! Staff rude and insolent. Definitely need some training on customer service. Slow and unable to get a simple order correct. Was waiting 15 minutes whilst the store was completely empty for order to be inedible. Absolute shambles.

I decided to visit here again as I have had a decent experience before so I thought I’d give it another shot. The donner was stone cold,the amount of donner that was in it was appalling as it was just filled to the top with salad and the most appalling thing was the service here considering all the staff do is stand behind a counter it’s hard to get something so wrong. We had approached a member of staff to raise our concerns but we were told they can’t do anything,the woman claimed she was manager (called ali). Her attitude towards us stank and she blamed us and said how she watched us taking pictures,how can the food go cold in two mins.She was rude from start to finish she really did make my experience horrible and I will not be returning. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS,staff clearly are not bothered about the food quality they serve and think it’s okay to talk to their customers how they wish.

Poor and disappointing visit. I've frequently come here as I used to love their mixed kebab. I was sad when they changed the bread. It's now thin and soulless but I was able to overlook that with good filling. I'm sat typing this review as I longingly stare at the mush I have in front of me. Absolutely poor, can't even see the meat as it's non existent, just full of sauce. It now makes sense why the tub of sauce they gave me wasn't even half full. Now, why did I not complain? Well, what's the point when the server needed to finish chatting before coming over to take my order. I don't think I'll be coming back here anytime soon, will have to go to more consistent eateries in Trinity Kitchen.

If you've been here & you think this is a good Doner WOW,I ordered a mixed kebab I had to look inside as I thought I'd got a vegetarian kebab a tiny bit of meat the portion size was a joke for £13 pound was comical it wasn't worth half as much as that I'm still in shock,you could get one 5 times bigger for the same price in any kebab shop outside the Trinity

Middle of the road. Big queue took 30 mins to order. Staff didn't seem to care. Food was OK but there's far better Doner chains around these days thats better than this. Should have choose a different stand at the Trinity Food Market

Absolutely disgraceful food, I’ve never had chips that are literally FREEZING cold, all stuck together because they couldn’t be bothered to jolt the fryer… the chicken shawarma was pink and cold… worst £24 ever spent!! I couldn’t even finish it as it was totally inedible!! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

After living in Berlin for 10 years, I can’t really see how Döner Shack was inspired by the Kebab Stores in Berlin. I went for a Classic Döner Teller. 1. Meat was good 2. The portion itself was very small, with very little salad - trust me - you are bursting after a Kebab in Berlin 3. You can only choose one sauce. Every other sauce is extra. Every other Kebab in Berlin gives you unlimited amount of sauces. 4. The sauce the most important ingredient, which was made with MAYONNAISE!! and comes in a plastic jar. 5. No choice between Fries and Rice, which is Standard for a Döner Teller Overall, as a Berliner, I feel offended.
