Harvester Chingford in Waltham Forest

We went today for a nice lunch out with the family we were served by Lauren, who was nice and friendly. The salad bar was fresh and tasty, and the bread was soft. We didn't need to wait a long time for drinks they came fast and speedy , like the mains. The mains were hot and very nice. Dessert was lovely and tasty, too. Overall, this was a 10 out 10 experience. We will be returning soon to have a lovely meal again.

What an amazing night we had, Micheal made the night even better by giving out wonderful service! From the minute we all arrived he made sure we was all comfortable, happy and couldn’t have done more for us if he tried ! Making jokes and giving us a real good entertainment service ! The night was pleasurable and he was able To deal with all of us and kept checking in and even made an effort with the kids !

Lovely venue, good food and good service. Salad bar was very nice, though salad bowls were very small. Food portions were good and the ultimate mixed grill was particularly well sized.Prices are good, drinks are good, but cocktails could be better presented. Definitely worth a visit!

Popped in for a late lunch with my partner and as always it was great! Beth was our waitress, not for the first time and she was absolutely wonderful! She is so funny and attentive making the whole experience an absolute pleasure! She deserves to be on stage with her name up in lights! He had the chicken combo and I the half chicken and we couldn’t fault either, both great! We use to go to the harvester in wharf road, but keep coming back to this one due to the service and food quality! Keep it up guys!!

Great food on this visit, infact best food ever at a Harvester. I ordered the chicken, waffle & bacon which was cooked really well. The waffle was soft on the inside and sugary crisp on the outside , delicious. Mike was our server and he was great. The servers really help make the overall experience memorable. I would go back more often if Mike were to serve us. We used a 40% off voucher which made the meal really affordable.

First class food and ambiance. Staff are fantastic as is the service ably led by Mikel, Alana and Beth.

We was served by a lovely girl called Beth, full of energy & pizzazz, very friendly & very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, she really bought a sparkle to our visit, and the ribeye steak was a ‘10 out of 10!’ compliments to the chef it was cooked to perfection!!

Just on the off chance we passed in the car & as we were looking for a late lunch my sister she just pulled in to try a meal in there. We were greeted by Beth who I can only say was the most charming way to be greeted by anyone I have ever had. Her bubbly personality & helpfulness was second to none. I can guarantee we will definitely be back if only to be greeted by Beth. What a wonderful young lady. Well done Harvester. Great service, great staff & good food. Very impressed.

Where do I begin from. Okay there I was looking for a good, quiet and centrally located place to have my grad dinner with family, and just a day to the Dee day, I decided to call Harvester and request a reservation for 11 guests.l, and guess what, it was my lucky day. They offered me that reservation. Come Saturday, we all arrived happy and all ready for nothing but a feast. Then came this jolly, lovely and amazing lady who blew me away. Bethany Bethany Bethany, I could mention her name a million times. From the onset she was so welcoming, articulate, and knew her menu off head, she literally lit up our day with her jokes, suggestions, care, and prompt service. Bethany has mastered the art of customer service. I would return just so I can experience her great services . We enjoyed our dinner, had ample time, no pressure to leave the restaurant early. It was fantastic.

I went here today for breakfast and was really looking forward to the meal! However,it was a disastrous visit. The three of us all ordered a cooked breakfast and looked good when served up .However when we all tasted our meals the food was stone cold and having asked for crispy bacon and well done sausages we got neither.We spoke to our waiter and he apologised and took the food back to the kitchen.Our expectation was to get a freshly cooked meal,but no that didn't happen! It was the same food ,and the worst part was we could tell as one of us landed up with a half eaten sausage. We complained to the manager and again he apologised and said we would get freshly cooked food.Third time lucky you ask ??Sadly not ,only the hash Brown's and one sausage on my plate was hot.The same with others.We are some of the food but came away t thinking how could they get this so wrong three times! Needless to say we didn't pay for the meals and will think twice about going again any time soon!!

Had a really lovley meal with the family and served by Beth who was amazing. Very busy Saturday with alot of customers but Beth still managed to go above and beyond. It was a shame however, a couple other staff felt the need to belittle a hard working member by the till while we were leaving. Overall though, service and food were on point and a nice environment prior to the exit.

I met 2 friends for drinks at Chingford Harvester this evening. I was so impressed with how the waiter Michael and a waitress treated a customer with additional needs. Nothing was too much trouble. It was heartwarming to see such care from the staff.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at harvester today made extra special by my waitress Mandy! So attentive and cared for all our extra needs!

Great experience at the Harvester. Hand sanitizer at the door. Wait to be seated. Only allowed to get up to go to toilet. All the meals were half price due to the govt scheme. The only thing I'd say is the waitress didn't have a mask on. Given the current climate I think masks are essential for reassurance. Waitress was very attentive and bottomless drinks and unlimited salad was brought to us. Portion sizes were huge and lots of choice for vegetarians/vegans and seafood eaters. Would recommend and would probably go again but sit outside unless the staff wore masks.

Mikel!! Such an amazing guy, amazing at his job and goes above and beyond each time we visit, it you go go on a Monday or Tuesday and make sure you have him as your waiter!

Date of visit 10/08/2020Poor attitude and service from staff but the food was good. The manager seemed like she didn’t want to be there and I was shocked the in the way in which she spoke To Some customers, myself included. The attitude in her reflected on the other staff members who worked the bar. They was so rude when I ordered my food. Not a please or thank You in sight. The food was good and I can’t know that. The most worrying thing was there was absolutely no regard for social distancing or covid measurements in place. Their are plenty of people at this time who would give a right arm to have a job and be happy about it. On reflection I won’t be going back. There are better local restaurants and other chains in the area that are better. It’s a shame really as when this was under the previous management which was a family, it Was a great place To eat and drink.

Went for the first time since lockdown and had a really good meal. We were taken to an extremely clean table and clean conditment were brought over with out menus. We ordered drinks and then our meal. The waitress, Mandy, took us to the salad bar and we chose what we wanted, while she served, so no one touched any of it at any time. Our meal arrived hot and quite quickly and none of us had any complaints. The food was well cooked and good portions.I would like to say a big thank you to our waitress, Mandy, who was polite, friendly and very professional. She made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble, even when i was fussy over what sauce i wanted with my main meal.We would definitely return and soon!

The first time to eat out after lockdown was tonight I have a harvester app and in their car park I went on to check that my 33/3 % discount on food served weekdays between 2 and 5 pm was still valid. It was confirmed as valid. My Girl friend and I went in to eat and I said to the waitress that pulled out the menus and showed us to our table that I would be using my app to get this discount.We were shown to our table and enjoyed our meal We showed our app when we asked for the bill and the computer said NO to the discount. The manager was called and we were told we must pay the bill in full as their till could not cope with their app.This was the only option given to me. I made it clear that this was in no way any fault on my part if their system could not give this promised discount and they could not update their app.I was told to pay the full price of the meal and go home and email for the return of the discount. I asked my girlfriend to get change from the shop across the road so I could pay the correct amount for the meal and not have the hassle of paying too much and having the extra back. This put a very very sour end to that meal. You have been warned.ps. I felt sorry for the manager as his hands seemed to be tied to what the computer would allow him to do.

We normally go to our local Harvester once a month if we can and for once we thought let's see how a different harvester is for a change loool.And it's true once you've seen one you've seen them all good food, great atmosphere and as always harvester seems to know where to find the best staff.It's a lovely evening out and very affordable would defenetly recommend

Omg! How bad can service be? You wait ages to get served, then wait even longer for the food, the order is wrong, the staff are miserable and the whole lot is over priced for what you get. Just don’t bother. There’s and F£Bs next door or even a weatherspoon on the mount.

Terrible customer service. Waited an hour and 15 minutes for food and upon asking about the delay was told they had cancelled our order because something was missing but failed to inform us!! Barrage of lies so asked to speak with the manager. No manager available, only assistant - youngish, inexperienced girl, who started conversation with ‘Yeah?’ and continued it with same sort of street talk, ultimately accepting no responsibility. To sum, no food and appalling customer service, with nothing being resolved. AVOID!!
