Lovely location. A restaurant with outside terrace tables and more casual cafe attached. It is a bit pricey, but even the small things like ketchup are home made in the premises. Although like anywhere, you can order for your personal budget. The manor gardens are a separate charge but part of the same house. I haven't been in the gardens yet. I found the staff professional but unpretentious and helpful. They seemed to want to help make your time enjoyable. Outside of the manor is a bridge over the river Frome, so a nice walk. Interesting fact is that the Wiltshire/Somerset border runs through the location and it's right at the start of the Cotswold hills.

My friend and i had a lovely afternoon tea in the Brasserie today. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were all delicious. Service was quick and, as always, our lovely waitress, Vicky, made us feel very welcome.

After reading some brilliant reviews on The Swan, we decided to visit. Staying not too far away, we had passed on various occasions and noticed its popularity. We reserved a table. We were met by a friendly man, who showed us to our table. The decor and atmosphere was lovely. However we were all very disappointed with all of the three main meals we ordered. The lasagne was dry, average and hard. The sausage and mash was below average, with runny gravy and poor quality sausage meat. The chili beef was low quality and not at all nice, very sweet and we were unsure whether the ingredients were fresh. Not to mention the soft drinks being flat. Clearly the draught needed changing. For the price a very very disappointing meal. We will not be visiting again. A real shame. We had left this restaurant to the last as we wanted to have a lovely meal before our 5 hour trip home.

Hello. Popped into this pub for a couple of pints and we were hosted by the staff like kings. Perfect banter, good quality pint and even the dogs were very happy. Well done to all at the pub for their hospitality.

Lovely staff on the 25th April. They went above and beyond !! The food was lovely, as always. (My daughter says 500 stars!)

Coffee horrible, limp, bland, expensive toastie. The only outside space was all smoking.

Pedimos mucho a Nandos y comemos en la tienda también. Esta orden salió mal de muchas maneras. He llamado y hablado con una persona útil en Park Street, Bristol y me pidieron que enviara un correo electrónico. 1 . El pollo estaba cocido pero sin asar por lo que la piel no era comestible. 2 . El maíz en la mazorca (x 2 ) estaba poco cocido y sin asar por lo que no era comestible. 3 . Tenemos puré en lugar de queso macedonio. 4 . No tenemos salsas. Fue decepcionante en comparación con nuestra buena experiencia habitual con Nandos. Hemos intentado contactarnos a través de varios correos electrónicos y no hemos tenido respuesta.

Really good food. Scones are excellent and coffee is good. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. Service is friendly.

my son from canada stayed here and we came fro breakfast evry morning and i would like to say a big thank you to the manager Sara, the chef and also the breaakfast lady who served us with excellent service and i would recommendanyone to this location

This was a meal included as part of our stay at the excellent Lansdowne Guest House. Really enjoyed this ‘free meal’. Waiting staff were really nice and efficient and our two courses were excellent.

That early morning slot on a sunny Sunday was a glorious set up for the day. Exercise, companionship, leisure and great food. In a quirky setting. What’s not to like?

First time been to Stapleton for a few years. Three of us on business meeting. Really good meal and good service.
