Nando's in Bristol, City of

We travelled up from Cornwall, going to a Concert in Cardiff, and decided to stop at Nando’s for tea., as I have never had a bad meal at a Nando’s yet. We didn’t have our NHS id cards with us as we don’t carry them outside of work usually. This is not normally a problem as most outlets are happy to see our NHS email, which you can only have if you work for the NHS. This Nando’s however refused to give my partner NHS discount without the staff if card. Extremely unhappy with the response received. I spoke to the manager, who was extremely apologetic and provided us with Free desert.

The wait for food at Nando’s in park street Bristol was terrible. I waited for over 45 minutes for three dishes for me and my family. I wouldn’t recommend this branch as the service was extremely slow especially during dinner on a weekday!

Very cold, needed to keep coat on the whole time. No same level (or disabled) toilet. I'm of limited mobility and had to climb 3 flights of stairs. This is also where the baby changing area is. Food was nice but not very hot.

Wir hatten für uns etwas zum mitnehmen Bestellt, uns wurde gesagt, dass es in 10 minuten bereit sei. Als wir nach 15 minuten kamen war noch nichts bereit. Zuhause angekommen war der „Large“ Rainbow Slaw nicht grösser als die reguläre beilage. Essen war allgemein gut, jedoch sind die portinen (grösse) in keinsterweise mit dem preis zu rechtfertigen, portion für den preis viel zu klein.

This was my first Nandos and I was looking forward to an exciting new taste experience. As it turned out the chicken was very dry and the spicy sauce did not make up for it. I had chips and coleslaw with mine, but all in all it was pretty disappointing. I won't be eating at Nandos again. The service was efficient though.

Food was inadequate. Chicken very dry and chips were old. Staff members stand around chatting and staring right at us waiting for us to finish. Menu’s had sauce splat on them . Couldn’t finish meal. Not the same standard we have had at other Nando restaurants. Needs improvement

Absolutely shocking service!! Ordered £86 worth of food that was not delivered and could not get a refund !! My kids could not eat anything just bread as I could not afford anything - this was a treat for them which turned out incredibly stressful!!DO NOT ORDER DO NOT GUVE THEM YOUR MONEY

I visited your restaurant with my young daughter on Friday evening as a treat for her birthday, we were told that the wait would be 20 min so we decided to have a little walk to pass some time, after a short walk we arrived back to come out of the cold and as park street was getting rather busy with people out on nights out, I ask the gentleman if we could wait on the empty table until ours came available.. (this table had been empty for some time as it was empty when we first arrived and was still empty when we came back) so clearly not being used.. we were rudely told um no you cant no waiting inside you have to stand out side.. explained to him that it was getting really cold and its only myself and my daughter who is 9. Simply said no.. no waiting inside. When there was clearly space for us in the corner to wait.. I would have understand if we were a large group!!! And there were others hanging around to be seated but there wasnt!! Shocking customer service!

The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever lied and said they had stop serving 20 mins before close all I wanted was take away lied and said the grill was off though I could still see food on it, the manager named breeze has the worst attitude I have ever dealt with I would advise everyone to eat elsewhere

I ordered some nandos and garlic bread took 2 hours to come . It arrived burnt and rubbery £20 for this ! Absolutely disgusting No one answered the phone

Cold food served late. The obvious issue was that they put sides on plates but chicken took 35 minutes. So sides were stone cold. An obvious management training issue. I complained about the cold stale chips and the manager shouted at me for 5 minutes. She refused to give me her name to complain to HO. Worst and most rude service I ever received in 30 years of eating out.

We came to Nando’s on park st and absolutely love it! Staff are so friendly, food is great and we overall great experience. Also very good value. Thank you so much!

It was my first visit to Nando’s and I ordered the quarter chicken and chips. Chips okay, not special. Chicken very good but tiny, the chicken must have been very small.

Have been to Nandos before a few times while visiting Bristol. Always good food and friendly service. Foods cooked fresh and served nice and hot. Didn't have to wait for a table which was a bonus. We ordered on their app and paid before receiving our food. Would recommend a visit.

We have been tonight at Nando's park Street. We arrived just before they were gonna close the kitchen , and despite it took us sooo long to decide what to order, the waiter was really patient with us nice and helpful . He's name is Jake! Thanks Jake from your Spanish customers!!

Waiting outside for so long for a click and collection order whilst people order their food inside. Maybe a separate order/collection would be a good idea

You can never go wrong with nandos, even during this pandemic they where able to cater to me and deliver consistently good quality food.

Fui aquí originalmente y desafortunadamente el boleto no se imprimió en la cocina, por lo que nuestra comida no se hizo. Después de una larga espera, les preguntamos qué estaba pasando y después de que se dieron cuenta del error que no era su culpa, nuestra comida salió en 5 minutos y nos dijeron que nos darían 2 comidas gratis la próxima vez que viniéramos. Más tarde Subo por un poco de yogurt congelado y solo me entregan 2 ollas y el hombre muy amable me dijo: ayúdate. Un personal tan encantador y se ocupó del error de manera sorprendente a pesar de que era una de esas cosas que es inevitable.

Tuve una comida muy encantadora! Aquí recientemente, la comida era excelente. El personal es muy amable y conocedor. Lo único negativo (y no volvería a visitar por eso) fue que los baños estaban subiendo muchas escaleras (estrechas). ¡Creo que conté 30! Se les preguntó si tenían un retrete deshabilitado y lo lamentaron, pero "No". No estoy seguro de cómo los manejó mi esposo. Realmente no me puedo quejar de la comida - deliciosa - y comida y bebida a un precio razonable.

Posto molto carino per cenare in cento città. Offrono una cucina varia, ma soprattutto a base di pollo! che è ottimo. Se potete cercate di prenotare altrimenti dovrete aspettare vista la grande affluenza.

3 de nosotros fuimos y tuvimos entrantes y platos principales. Siendo una virgen de Nando, tenía muchas expectativas, pero me sentía como un McDonalds un poco mejor, pero mucho más caro. Este establecimiento en particular se encuentra en Cabot Circus, por lo que es una excelente ubicación después de una tarde de compras con su esposa e hija. Los entrantes estaban bien, pero mi hamburguesa de pollo estaba seca y los gajos de camote estaban fríos y poco cocinados. El halloumi y el hongo pitta de mi esposa se consideraron muy agradables, pero también tenía las cuñas de batata y las suyas también estaban frías y poco cocidas. La hija realmente disfrutó de su calabaza cruda y su envoltura de papa dulce con peri peri chips fue pronunciada como muy agradable. La cerveza sólo se servía en botellas tan caras para lo que recibes. Y el coque de la esposa de la máquina tenía un sabor plano, por lo que ciertamente no hizo uso de las recargas ilimitadas.

Called in on off chance for a table for 2 just before 5pm. Waitress said there was an approximate wait time of 15 minutes if we were ok with that..we were. We were asked to take a seat & wait & given the menu to peruse.Restaurant very busy. All tables occupied & takeaway counter steady. Nice comfortable family atmosphere. Good music. Within 10 minutes we were seated at a table. We weren’t informed you had to order & pay at the counter but we’re soon put in the picture! Food arrived promptly. Excellent. Very filling. Having never been to Nando’s before would definitely return. We chose plain chicken and experimented with the various sauces ourselves. Good value.

Came here on Boxing Day for some food before the city game and I was amazed by how good the medium spicy chicken burger was. The chicken was moist, flavourful. The chips were crunchy and hot. Everything you could want from Nando’s

Food was lovely but what really made this visit to Nando’s so good was the fantastic service from stef! Not only did he have fantastic knowledge of the dishes/what was vegan etc, his vibrant personality really made us feel welcome and I will definitely be returning!

Bueno, estábamos pensando en el centro de la ciudad de Bristol buscando algo para cenar y la esposa realmente quería un Nando, ya que no vamos tan a menudo porque no me gustan, pero llegamos al restaurante y estaba lleno, así que cuando hacía frío Terminé afuera del restaurante bajo los asientos de verano con los calentadores en los que una vez allí fue muy agradable y por una vez disfruté de mi visita aquí, ya que el personal era muy servicial y quería ayudar, pero luego salió mi comida y todo fue muy rápido. Por eso no me gustan, ya que la comida que siento es muy suave incluso con sal y mayonesa y las salsas de Nando.

Very good services and very good food 10 out of 10 I’ve been to many places to eat and the food here is better and also I’ve been to Longwell greeen and that’s also brilliant food

Its a simple idea. Chicken. Fries. Salad. Rice. and some other stuff. Great for dates, meals with friends or family. Even on your own. The atmosphere is always lively and cannot complain. I like the free refills on soft drinks.

Amazing food and great service alongside a great venue in the heart of bath (above spoons). Great customer service especially from Maddison who was very lovely to us!

had a lovely meal here while visiting my daughter whos at Bristol uni.We went as a family of 4 and were served very quickly.All food was served hot by friendly staff, we were not rushed at all and were asked by staff if everything was ok with our meal. This is the second time we have been and will come back next visit to Bristol.

We called in after a film. A short walk. We were served straight away and found the chicken thighs flavoursome and well cooked.

The usual quality chicken and rice good clean restaurant great staff and easy parking. Toilet a fair distance away but if needed there is one downstairs.

Called in around 1:30, place was full so we were advised there would be a 15 minute wait. No problem, got seated and ordered the Boneless Platter for two with four sides, food arrived around 15 mins later, looked good and certainly tasted good, plenty for two people, also had unlimited Coke which was a rare treat in this Country, nice crushed ice too. Very enjoyable and pretty good value at just under £28 for two.

Seated and ordered within minutes and food came out within about 5 minutes, even though the restaurant was busy! Served by a gentleman with glasses (seemed like a manager) who was friendly, efficient and very helpful.

I'm a massive Nandos fantastic and normally have an absolutley great meal as I love all the different sauces and flavours. Today's meal was a real dissapointment. No cutlery outside nor offered when meal arrived so had to go inside to collect it. Sweet potatoe wedges were terrible, not cooked inside and super dry and tasteless. Chicken butterfly was two thighs instead of two breasts. Generally needs to get a lot better.

Restaurant is not bad as a Nando’s price but since they have a Halal food I’m not visiting and they should inform people that is halal not small little writing on menus card which actually hardly you can see no everyone is blooming HALAL and I’m not agree and against of doing that so try to respect customer and let them decide before they eat not after disappointing because of it just want to be vegetarian!!! Shame of you NANDOS

Have been eating Nandos in other countries (mainly in Africa & middle East) and wanted to check their consistency in taste and menu.

Love Hot & Spicy food but not Indian to try something different. Good vegetarian and vegan option and welcoming team

It is a very good restaurant. There are varied dishes, lots of chicken specialties where you can choose the sauce that goes with your taste. Some dishes are vegetarian and there are many Portuguese specialties. The drinks are at will. The price is reasonable. It is a very quiet place and very welcoming.

If you search somewhere to eat with a group of friend. I suggest you to eat there. If you’re a vegetarian, well you have a lot of choices so don’t worry about that. I’ve been over there with my class and the food was delicious and we all went well. We also didn’t pay much and it’s a really lovely place.

We went for dinner as a family. There was a minor miscommunication with the one order. The staff were helpful and more than made up for it. The food was excellent and staff were friendly and professional! Really great evening with great service! Well done!

Every time I come in this particular Nandos, there's something wrong. Either they've got a serious lack of one of the sauces, the staff are curt or something else. Also, the chicken here isn't cooked as well as other ones I've been to.

I love Nandos so there was no complaints regarding the food however I was gutted at how messy it was on our visit. The waitress sat us at a table with plates and food all over the seats! It was only when I told her she came to clear it but even then we ended clearing the seats as she hadn't. Disappointed with the poor service.

Made a quick pit stop after a busy day in Bristol. Always enjoy getting food at Nando's and it was no different this time. The one negative of the visit to this chain was that they forgot the chicken wings for my order. After telling the waitress when she came to check our table, they then didn't arrive until after we had all finished our meals, which was disappointing.

I love this place. If you like chicken and you like hot food then you can't go wrong...I like the way you can ask for breast or leg when ordering a 1/4 chicken and I always have hot. Don't think even I could do the extra hot.It's the fast food you can get!

Ok, we love Nandos. We find the price a bit high for what you get, but let's admit it...it's addicting and we will be back!

Good food to start off with. Easy system to order and fresh ingredients. Service was ok. At is best.

If we want an easy meal, we'll come here. Tasty and fresh. We had salad and whole chicken with some liver. We feel it healthier than other fast food.

What I can say is Nando's can hardly fail. Many choices for sides. Space can be a bit cramp, but generally it's a good place for a meal.

Lovely meal. Enjoyed sumptious half-chicken, rice and soft drink. Tasty and very filling. Nice friendly atmosphere. Place pretty full as way my belly after eating here.

Lovely welcoming staff, fast service and good tasty food. The dining area is clean and well decorated. Plenty of room for a wheelchair although sadly no disabled loo due to listed building status. Nando's have both gluten free and dairy free options and you can check online first.We enjoyed our meal.

Visited 6th. March 2017. Having previously given good reviews of this Park Street Bristol Nando's, we have to show disapointment on this occasion due to two problems we have never encountered before. Namely;- The wine we chose was unavailable, as was the Corn on the Cob, which we found hard to believe, bearing in mind both have been on the Menu for a long time. We hope it was a ' blip' in ordering this time and will return to prove the point.

Having not been to a Nandos in a number of years, I was quite excited to go last week. However after eating I can't really remember why. The food is fine, I had half a chicken and I have to say, it must have been quite a small chicken. The spicy rice and peri salted chips were good and the price wasn't awful. Best aspect has to be the bottomless soft drinks for £2-3.

Service was good. Food was well presented, arrived quickly and was delicious - as expected from Nando's.

Nice restaurant, we were welcomed and told there was a delay for a table which was fine, we were duly seated chose what we wanted and went to order. Food came out in good time and was what you would expect succulent chicken breast with flavouring of your choice, so far so good and we really enjoyed our meal, when the plates were cleared we asked if they could phone a taxi for us and the staff member said no they couldn't fair enough so we asked for a taxi number as we were in Bristol for the weekend and didn't know any, were told that none of the staff knew any taxi numbers at all. This almost spoilt what was a nice meal as we then had to go out and walk back to the city centre before we found a cab. Surprised out of all the staff working that night not one of them knew a taxi number.

I never used to be a fan of nandos but had a great visit at this one. Excellent chicken livers, wings and chicken breast pitta. Was very busy on Friday lunch and could see why. Service matched the food.

A river at about 3:30 for an early dinner. Ordered houmous with warm flat bread which can with a mini bottle or chilli oil - we really enjoyed this starter. We both then had butterfly chicken with two sides - sweet potatoe wedges, fries, rice and cols law which was all lovely. It ws very quiet at this time of day. We both enjoyed our food which arivwd piping hit. Definitely be visiting again. On the down side the loos are upstairs which is cold

This was a typical Nando's experience but OMG... Where was the heating in the building.The food was your standard quality but the staff were as cold as the restaurant itself.

Nando's is the same wherever you go. Food served quickly but wouldn't call it Michelin star food. It's good for a pre theatre bite to eat.

A group of 4 arrived and we were seated quickly. The waitress that showed us to our table was lacking in manners and just beckoned us to the table. We should have known then that this wasn't going to be good. We ordered our meals which were fine. They came out with a waiter who was more friendly than the rest. Whilst we were eating our lunch, the table next to us asked the waitress for some vinegar. She leant over my friends shoulder and took ours from the table - despite the fact that we hadn't all used the vinegar. However the final straw came when 3 of our party had finished and the same rude waitress came over to take the plates. I was still chewing my final piece of chicken and had put my knife and fork down when the waitress quite literally extended her hand and began making hand motions to me that she wanted me to pass my plate. Still chewing my food she snatched the plate before walking off. I've never experienced anything like it. There were at least 15 tables free, so it's not like they were busy and in desperate need of the tables. Food was fine but service was abysmal.

The food was great, the portions quite fair. I had half a chicken, fries & rice, my friend had the butterfly burger. Both great. Well cooked and spicy!Loved it, the staff are wonderful, very friendly and an easy going atmosphere. Great to take children, Gramps and Nanny and even the dog, well maybe outside!The cost is fair and well worth a treat.Oh and don't forget those little custard tarts with your coffee.

"“Good value for good food, ambience is fine”They have a good operation, a smooth-running way of ensuring new customers know the procedure. The food was plentiful, appetising in presentation and fairly priced. A shame two staff were standing blocking the view at the front window, gossipping. Not too customer-friendly, this one incident. But very nice overall. I would go again.

Sorry to say but I was really disappointed with Nando's at Bristol Park Street. The food that was initially served to me was incorrect so I told a waitress who took the plate away and then didn't return. We were left wandering what was going on while they served other people. When my food eventually did arrive there was no apology. The garlic bread on my partners dish was floppy and soggy so again we asked the waitress to replace it. She said she'd bring a fresh portion and left the table. She then returned and took his plate (with the rest of his food on) with no explanation. She did then return the plate minus the garlic bread. A few minutes later the garlic bread arrived and it was much better. On leaving the restaurant at the end of our meal we walked passed 2 waitresses and a waiter and no one said goodbye or even made eye contact. Very disappointed in the food and service on this occasion as the amount we spent could have got us a decent meal else where with proper table service. I understand that it's "only a Nando's" but with so many other options in Bristol you expect a bit more.

The decoration in the restaurant is simple and nice. Although the restaurant was packed, the service was still prompt, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We did have to wait really long for the food. The food is not really impressive but suitable with the taste of Asian travelers. This is one of the restaurants that I would definitely come again whenever I visit Chester.

We were told to wait for a table, even though there was plenty spare because there was a 10 seat table "booked". Im always told i cant book tables at nandos as its 1st come 1st serve.We eventually ordered the new chicken thigh burger, very small pieces of chicken, had the same meal in glasgow nandos which was literally twice the size

I really like Nandos food - it's totally consistent and the piri piri seasoning and sauces have a lemony flavour I've not found elsewhere. The spice is a little timid for me - but on my latest visit, I found that having spicy rice instead of chips tweaks it just right for a decent chili hit. One seldom waits long for a table, food arrives quickly and the staff are efficient and non-intrusive. The only negative, for me, is that some of Nandos chicken is Halal and is not clearly labelled as such.

A chaque fois que je me rends en UK, je reserve toujours une soirée pour aller au nando's. Vous passez toujours une agréable soirée acompagne de la sangria et du bom poulet grillé, avec leurs sauces c'est un vrai régal. Le seul inconvénient c'est qu'il y a souvent la queue pour rentrer.

Having two teenager daughters Nandos is their favourite restaurant so we have been to quite a few. Although the food was tasty, my 1/2 chicken was far smaller than usual, the mash looked dry when it arrived, although it was tasty, we were served two meals and waited 5 mins before the 3rd arrived. There was no follow-up "is everything ok". The floor was littered with food by the serving area and the stairs leading to the toilets and the toilets themselves were also grubby. No Nandos high standards here. The staff although friendly lacked the normal cheerfulness. May have caught them on a bad day but definitely not impressed.

Delicious food every time I pop in! Lovely staff and service. Nothing can be Naughty Natas though! They are freaking fabulous!

The last time I went to a Nando's was about a decade ago in London. We decided to take the kids to the one on Park St, for their first ever Nandos. We made sure to go early (around 11ish) and got a table easily. There is a kids menu. The food came promptly and was delicious. The staff were friendly. The kids can't wait to go back, and nor can I!

Bit hit and miss in nandos over the years. Not sure if you will get a nice succulent chicken or dry vile chicken. Today was super dry though. Creamy mash is always lovely though PLEASE START USEING SQUEEZEY BOTTLES FOR KETCHUP THOUGH! Its an arm training session trying to get ketchup out of a glass bottle.

Nandos is a Nandos is a Nandos. Same food and service that you would expect from everywhere else. Nice and tasty.

I went to have dinner yesterday evening and I never expected busy for a Tuesday. We didnt know what happened and nobody explained why everything was going so slow but we are patient, and we hate complains, so we just waited 30 min for our food. One lovely Spanish waitress came to clean the table next to us and she started to chat to us when she heared us speak Spanish. We didnt ask for a explanation but she really friendly and lovely told me. I work in a restaurant so I know this kind of problem can always happen (I dont want to say it because is our secret) so I only can give a 4 stars because the food is always great and this waitress was amazing. I hope to see her in Wahca soon and give her back the great service. See you soon Nandos

Me and my girlfriend we had a busy day visiting and shopping in Bristol, thirsty and hungry, we went to nandos, expecting to eat cheap, good and quite quick..cos we saw it was just 1 customer sat...so...what a show...non customer service at all... 4 staff in the restaurant, chating with a friend, making her hair...and we thirsty as hell..had a question bout the menu... Not even watched us. So we decided to leave....wont go back to nandos again cos of that experience.

Predictable quality and quantity of food - typical for a branded chain restauraunt.Given the location the price is OK - a well cooked meal at about £10-00 : you cant go far wrongWatch the price of drinks !

Went with a group of 5 friends. I was last to order and 3rd to receive my food. luckliy not a large gap. however despite asking for chicken breast (which they allow you to specificy if ordering a chicken quarter) they sent me thigh. they took my sides and the chicken away meaning my sides were a little cold when they returned with the correct chicken. this has happend a few times this year so much so its a running joke that my order is almost always wrong. but staff are friendly and rectify mistakes and food does taste good so for now i'll continue to go.

Don't want to risk something new and ran out of time reviewing restaurants. You can always rely on Nando's.

My wife, daughter and I visited for mid week lunch. Nice friendly welcome. We asked to sit next to the window. The restaurant had a "contemporary rustic" decor. We selected food and drinks from the menu and went to the counter to order. Our food and drinks were serviced pretty promptly. Food was well cooked and tasty. All pretty Nandos really.
