Worst nandos I've been to. Cold & mushy food. Slow service. The restaurant was a little busy but my wife's chicken thighs came out stone cold, and my burger was a soggy inedible mess. Waited almost an hour for our food to eventually come out, and by that time we didn't have enough time left to go through the faff of complaining about it, so we just left. Do yourself a favour and avoid this nandos.

It was clearly a busy time and staff were undear a bit of pressure. But we're waiting stood up for 30minutes to get seated. The member of staff who was seating people wasn't polite or pleasant. No smile, no hello etc. When I asked for something I didn't get a reply just got what I asked for and gave it to us. I appreciate it can be stressful when places are busy. But doesn't cost anything to smile and be polite to paying customers.

We had heard a lot about the food in this place. About the food, we had never been disappointed at all. The food lived up to its expectations. The staff are working very hard. Management needs to have better understanding of thorough put. The lines can be better managed and the weight for the food can be shortened from one hour 15 minutes to less than 30 minutes. Restrooms are in disarray. Folks have to wait for their food for such a long time. Ice machine was out of order. Fountain rigs were out of flavors. Peach tree, drink was finished. This is at 7:30 in the evening at prime dinner time and not at the end of the shift. We had great expectations of this place. The chicken was awesome. When they say a whole chicken, they did not actually mean a whole chicken. Short changed the ribs, however, was kind and came to speak to my wife and family and apologize that this is not how they function usually, but because their computer systems were down, and the vendors did not bring the drinks to them for filling up the fountain drinks. all in all, poor management of amazing customer demand. they should apply LEAN SIGMA SIX PRINCIPLES.

Really love this branch of Nandos. We've been here so many times because they are right next to our favourite cinema and are particularly good. Often busy but you can usually get a table and they don't make you wait for food too long. It's always very clean and the staff are friendly. We went last night and I noticed one member of staff Sagal was especially good, she was really friendly, attentive and a hard worker, checking tables, cleaning and keeping things tidy. We look forward to coming back next time we go to the cinema.

Came for a collection order. No one came to show us where it was, so waited for 10mins, then caught someone who said it was in the heated cabinet, as if we were meant to know! For starters the hostess went out of her way to avoid acknowledging or even looking at the queue which waited a long time before being spoken to. Only when bothering one of the waiters did we get acknowledged after more than 10 minutes. Tables were sticky and dirty , hardly any sauces or cutlery available, toilets were also gross. After 15 mins we were given our drinks glasses by a server which were piping hot , they didn’t look just slid them across the table and scuttled off before we could ask them anything. No ice , hardly any food remaining and despite a full kitchen and tonnes of staff the food took a ridiculously long time to come , even longer it spent sat on the side waiting to be brought over by servers who couldn’t be bothered. This Nando’s is an example of how not to run a franchise , the restaurant manager should feel ashamed. For the money you pay the restaurant facilities , the service and the food are beyond lacklustre. If you’ve got years to wait , maybe you can eat here.

Awful experience had an order to collect and was left to wait without anyone coming over for 15 mins. Was told my order isn’t ready yet- fair enough! Guy sitting next to me said his was 20 mins late, he shortly received his with an apology and a free cake. I receive mine 45 mins after my collection time no apologies (same person handed my order as the guy before me) and you can guess no freebie for over double the wait time of the guy in front of me ?? Minimum I would expect is a short apology- sorry for the wait mate , but nothing ! Got home and chicken was so dry and sides were cold- I live 2 minutes away and went straight home…. Overall crap.

Oh Nandos! I remember a time before you existed, but it seems so impossible now. You unify the world with your infinitely accessible chicken, and varied vegan and vegetarian offerings. All types of people place their backsides in the your chairs and their laughter fills the air. We can when our daughter was a baby. Exhausted and bereft. We watch Gym people max out on their Macros, 14 year olds on first dates, and the ghetto fabulous queuing shoulder to shoulder for 'Pasties de natas'. We came last weekend, bought enough food for all of us for like £25 and took home a doggy bag that I cut up and had with noodles two days in a row. I salute your value. If you are what you eat, all of us, each one of us... Is a little bit Nandos.

Nando's in Longwell Green is an absolute gem, especially for those seeking halal options in Bristol. I recently indulged in a feast there, starting with four succulent chicken thighs. The spice level was just right, giving each bite a satisfying kick. And those peri peri salted chips? Divine. The seasoning really elevated the flavors. However, the peri mac n cheese fell short; it was dry and rubbery, a disappointment. The restaurant itself is spacious and impeccably clean, adding to the dining experience. But, after polishing off our plates, the waiter seemed overly eager to usher us out, despite no queue in sight. Despite the rushed ending, I'd still highly recommend it for its fantastic taste and, of course, its halal status, Only Halal nandos in Bristol.

I am deeply disappointed by the abhorrent treatment experienced at Nandos Longwell Green Bristol, a purported beacon of hospitality that, regrettably, failed to illuminate even the most basic principles of customer service and respect. Our arrival, punctual and eager to partake in the well-regarded fare offered, was met with a disheartening series of events orchestrated by a purported manager named Scott. His demeanor, cloaked in an air of indifference and condescension, left us bewildered and disrespected. In an environment where empty seats outnumbered occupied ones, Scott's insistence on adhering to a seemingly arbitrary cutoff time for service, purportedly dictated by an absent owner, exposed a callous disregard for the plight of patrons who had journeyed from afar with their families. The incredulous notion that serving customers within the established operating hours could somehow jeopardize his employment is, at best, an affront to logic and, at worst, a pitiable excuse for subpar conduct. The smirk that danced upon his lips as heartfelt pleas for accommodation and understanding were made in light of our celebration of Eid was a stark reminder of the insensitivity that permeated the atmosphere. To trivialize the significance of this occasion and the efforts undertaken to share a meal at the only halal Nandos in the vicinity was a display of callousness that shall not be soon forgotten. Scott's audacity to diminish the legitimacy of our presence and the validity of our timeline, coupled with his insipid retort of being a mere executor of commands, not a nurturer of goodwill, leaves a bitter taste in the mouth that not even the most succulent peri-peri chicken could assuage. In the annals of customer service missteps and egregious oversights, this encounter shall stand as a testament to the dire need for introspection and improvement within the hallowed halls of Nandos Longwell Green Bristol. May this missive serve as a rallying cry for rectitude and a reminder that, in the realm of hospitality, empathy and understanding are the bedrock upon which lasting relationships are forged.

We came here last night at 8pm. I counted 11 empty tables when we tried to eat. But apparently there was no space and we would have to join the queuing system. We agreed to this and went to the cinema to see what the current film line up was. We returned less than 10 mins later (and before I had a phone notification of my table being ready). As we returned a group of around 8-10 men were being turned away and we could hear them saying they would go elsewhere. I recounted and there were now 13 empty tables. So we decided to wait in the lobby, where we were finally seated about 10 mins later. The whole time we were eating there there were many empty tables. Which begs the question why we were told of a half hour wait and to leave. Nandos you are turning away customers and the restaurant was less than half full. Absolutely bonkers!!!! I understand the queuing system as we've used it effectively in other Nandos. This one however is clearly broken. As none of the empty tables that were booked/reserved etc. got filled whilst we were eating. Not sure I'll even bother trying this Nandos again in future.

The worst experience at Nandos I have ever had. Been coming to this particular Nandos for years but it's really gone downhill recently. Arrived at 2.10pm on a Saturday, queued for 40 mins for a table, ordered food at 2.50pm, had to chase starters after 30 mins which we then received but after 1hr 20mins our mains still hadn't arrived. Lots of other people arrived after us and received their food quickly. We asked the shift manager where the food was who said we'd only been waiting 30mins which was a lie (I pointed this out on the receipt) - he was not fussed as clearly was looking forward to the end of his shift. No staff were concerned with customer service and updating us on any delays. By the time the new shift manager arrived, we'd had enough and decided to leave for KFC. I asked for a refund but was told this couldn't be done and I'd have to wait for a gift voucher by email. Won't be coming back.

We went to a pub for a drink while I awaited said text that never arrived. After 45 minutes of waiting, we went back and were given a seat. The service was fine, minus the wait. First time there and maybe last. Was around Bristol and found Nandos wasn't far away. Our order takes over 45 minutes to arrive. The chicken legs was like a baby chicken leg. My kid burger was by far better than ours, the chicken for the kids burger was twice the size of ours. When we complained about it they changed it to a slightly bigger one in a cold bun 😑, couldn't eat it, had to take it home. The fully loaded chips was the only dish we appreciate. Would never thought Nandos will let their customers down with cheap quality of chicken. Very disappointed.

Messed up Title: Disappointing Experience with Repeated Order Errors I usually don’t write reviews, but after two consecutive experiences of receiving incorrect take-away orders, I felt compelled to share my feedback. On my first visit, I ordered a chicken fillet and received a chicken burger . Assuming it to be a one-off mistake, I decided to give the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, the second time around, my order was mixed up again - I didn’t receive a burger I ordered. Two orders in a row. Very disappointed and will definitely not try it again .

Great place to eat lovely food and staff are polite. Give yourself time though as they dont do table booking, when you arrive if they can seat you they will if not its a short wait. You can orderer at the till or online/app. We used online with table QR and this worked well food was servered speedy and hot. The restaurant was clean and tidy and overall was a pleasant experience.

As the title implies this is the worst meal I have had. I arrived on the 28th July and after waiting 20 minutes for a table due to the wait times at the arcade I sat down along with 2 friends. Expecting the same standard I have had every times at nandos, I was ready to eat some delicious chicken. What followed was pure failure on nandos part. I ordered my food at 6:47, with it not arriving until 7:32. That was for my food though. One of my friends got his 10 minutes before mine, and another got his 10 minutes after I did. This wasn’t the worst part though. The second I ate the food, it was colder than the cold drink I had ordered. At this point though I was so hungry I forced myself to eat it. The chicken was dryer than the skin of a chain smoker, the chips had the texture of mash potato and the garlic bread was just a stale biscuit. When the food for my friend arrived after mine thought his looked fresh out the oven. When it was over I asked for a refund but was told as the food had been eaten, the best she could do was a voucher which is better than nothing I suppose.

Went with a friend at lunch time. It was reeeeeally quiet with just a few other customers there. The server asked if we'd been before and we said no. He said just scan the QR code to order or go to the bar, and offered no other info. Staff were very disinterested and didn't tell us where to get drinks or cutlery. We didn't really know how it worked and they failed to enlighten us. I dropped my cardigan on the floor and noticed how filthy it was (the floor, not the cardi). Not great. The food was nice though and came quickly.

Hard to find halal Nandos. The food is good and the service is ok. Sometimes it is too busy.

Absolutely horrendous service! Went this Saturday around 8.30ish 2 adults and 2 child. Naturally we knew will be busy so we were prepared to wait! There was a long queue but inside several tables were empty but hadn’t been cleared up! Anyway within 5 mins we see everyone leaving the queue as the door staff tell us they are not taking in anymore people. I question why that is as several tables are empty and it’s no where near closing time! He says that’s what has been instructed by his manager! We been going to this Nandos for a long time as it’s local to us and go probably once a month. And honestly the service has been going downhill since the last 3/4 months. They are obviously short staffed! And there could be only 2 reasons: 1. They are not able to recruit staff because of low minimum wage given the current cost of living climate I would never recommend this kind of job! 2. They are not recruiting staff on purpose and using the excuse of cost of high overheads and expenses. It’s probably both!

Creatures of habit,You know what you are getting with Nandoes..we always go for mixed olives start and the full platter, with 4 sides. Reasonably healthy , food quality always consistent .

Our first visit to nandos, lots of families and as a result, a lot of noise so probably not conducive for a quiet romantic night with your partner. Having said that, the food was good tasty. The service was OK but not sensational. Value for money, no. menus said double butterfly breast it was a very small chicken they came from.

Visited on friday evening, was fairly busy which was expected. Didn’t have to wait too long for a table (and they give you a text so you can have a drink in the pub next door while you wait). Service was a little slower but fine for us. Food is always good - you can’t go wrong with a nando’s. The tables by the door are quite cold though as the wind blows in, would be much more pleasant if there was a screen to block that, as when busy the door is constantly open. We’ve sat there a couple of times and had the same issue each time.

come here 30th june, waited 25 minutes before asking staff for our glasses then another hour went by waiting for food before asking where it was by this time nando’s had actually closed

Order placed 15.03 . Wasn't overly busy. Tables allocated after us. Ate before us . So at 15.46 made enquiries on food and time waited . They said we were next brought out chicken livers chicken thighs alll freezing cold . Manager came over said give us 10 minutes to re cook fresh and she didn't know why cold . We did and again 2nd chicken thighs cold . 3rd time lucky thighs brought out along with rest of order now 16.10 . Butterfly chicken spicy rice chips . Rice could of been hot but really could not be bothered to complain again very disappointing father's day and staff not very helpful and duty manager I'm presuming as didn't introduce herself. Avoided any eye contact or any offer of conversation was not there she just took the 2nd plate and walked away She new they messed up once again . Very disappointing visit Almost £40 spent for just the 2 of us . If food was nice cost not a problem. But it wasn't and with no sorry or explanation very poor 🙄

My experience at nandos was very positive. I ordered a chicken wrap and it was delicious. If you’re into spicy sauces, I recommend taking the Vusa XX Hot which does a decent job with being spicy. I loved that I could paid cashless and ordering through their website

Went for the late swim and dine, felt like we were and inconvenience being there late l, they ran out of the starter I wanted and my main was cold. My friend had octopus to start with barely any octopus, I had a lamb kebab with tzatziki which was underwhelming. My friend lived her seafood stew and I had pork and mash for £28 which was cold and I had to send back. The waiter comped us the desert, coffee and bread which was kind but ultimately would have preferred an enjoyable evening for the price we paid

To be fair the service was quick as we were on route to a gig. We opted for lamb shashlik with giros type bread with chips and salad.. It was tasty.. The interior of the restaurant is a bit drab. Staff were smoking by the front door. We were sat by the window by the door.. I was going to complain however it ended quite quickly.. Doesn’t do the business any favours.
