The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

At first i was sceptical about this place, but gave it a try and didnt dissapoint a single bit. One of the best customer service in London, staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I will come back here the next time i stay in London for sure, fully recommend at least trying it out.

We decided to come down to IKEA as a family for some food - indeed the ONLY reason to voluntarily come to IKEA, particularly with a small child. There is something nice about an IKEA restaurant. I can't quite put my finger on what it is - after all, it is basically a glorified canteen - but it's somewhere I do enjoy coming. We perhaps don't come here as often as we ought. The prices are very, very reasonable (which is good, because portion sizes aren't overly big) and the food is actually decent. Obviously one has to go for the meatballs (I wouldn't order meatballs anywhere else) but there are good alternatives too - including fish and chips, which my wife had and enjoyed. There are also kids options. Not particularly extensive, but enough to get you by. Overall I enjoyed our visit. I'm sure we will be back at some point. It's a good, affordable option for a small family meal.

Avoid for a meal! Especially if you are gluten free/ coeliac. We had family visiting and they wanted to visit Alderley park the the Churchill tree having eaten here before. The menu is very limited especially for gluten free.my husband contacted the restaurant manager who assured us that as a pescatarian with coeliac disease I would be looked after. My husband had to chase the retaaurant for a reply. The servers didn’t seem to be aware of this. When ordering the server couldn’t understand what I ordered- plain grilled fish, a plain salad and potatoes. My meal came out as something different. They then brought my correct meal in two parts! In 2025 I find it astonishing there is no GF menu or allergen menu. I didn’t want to attend this lunch as I thought I would feel awkward and I was correct! Unless you want a meal full of gluten avoid at all costs!

El personal era absolutamente increíble. saludo especial al gerente de este establecimiento (no puedo recordar su nombre) trabajando 05 - 04 - 2025 con una camisa verde. ella era tan encantadora y tenía el hábito de siempre vernos. señora brillante y yo 100% volveríamos. incluso nos dieron un capricho de algún Pastel de Nata de cortesía.

started the trip off with a half an hour wait, although 1/4 friends had been given their food. when asked where the food is, the response was “5 minutes”, before coming back to tell us that it will not infact be 5 minutes and will be much longer and offered us a free starter between the 3 of us. when food eventually came there was a hair in it! another one of the 4 meals was incorrect, i had tailored my food to remove sauces, to my surprise my wrap contained the sauces that i requested to be removed. to enhance the experience my friend decided to treat herself to an ice cream… the machine was broke, there was no sign or anything on the app to indicate this, as an alternative the waiter had offered a scoop of ice cream…. this scoop had a hair in it. therefore we requested the refund for the ice cream and left after drinking our soda water as the coca cola machine had broken with out making us aware! no apology for these issues.

Called in for light lunch, really strong menu with a handy specials board. Food really enjoyable and staff really switched on and friendly.

My business placed a very large order of almost £300 to feed 25 people. Normally when placing such large orders at other takeaways there will be something missing, it will be cold or late or a multitude of other errors, however on our visit to Nando’s Bicester every item was in the order, it was hot and cook perfectly. The attention to detail the manager showed to the order quality checking and ensuring the full order was completed was second to none. Will definitely be using Nando’s Bicester again. Thank you

Great service and quick delivery of good quality food. The price was well balanced against the service and food. We recommend to friends.

We know what to expect when having a cheeky nandos but this was well below par. The sunset burger literally had no chicken in it and what there was (half a miniscle chicken thigh) was greasy, tastless and fatty. Yuk yuk. Covering the bap in sauce did not make up for the fact there was no chicken. The pitta was dry and flavourless. Again not great. Broccoli OK but small miserly portion. Peri peri chips cold. I was going to complain but my daughter didn't want me to embarass her...so I didn't! Instead coughed up £30. Hard also to tell who the staff were, they looked unkempt and scuffy.....this place was dreadful. Avoid and go to Wingstop!

Nunca he dejado una mala crítica y es molesto tener que hacerlo. De hecho, me encanta este restaurante tanto que reservé una mesa en la sala de atrás para 10 aproximadamente 2 meses de antelación. Con una semana de anticipación, el Gerente General envió por correo electrónico una lista de 5 principales para que elijamos: Pintura de Guinea, pescado al horno, carne, cordero, & pez monje. Envié nuestras opciones como se solicitó. Hasta ahora tan bien. 4 días antes de la comida, me envió un correo electrónico otro gerente para decir que no podíamos elegir platos separados, pero todos tenían que tener el mismo plato principal. Le expliqué lo que había dicho el Gerente General pero cayó en oídos sordos. Nuestras preferencias individuales no contaban. Obviamente, esto fue un shock y potencialmente divisivo. Porque algunos no queríamos comer carne roja y otros sí. Para evitar la molestia elegimos reservar el Gran Indio en su lugar. Un excelente restaurante. Andrew Buchan

Lovely staff but you're not allowed to use laptops there for some reason

10 of us went for my moms birthday. The 3 young ladies were very friendly and extremely helpful. The chef accommodated for my daughter’s needs with her meal which was great and we couldn’t fault the food. However the lady in charge who took my booking I felt was very sharp and a bit rude especially over payment and it not being table service which I already know and in front of all my guests. Also I couldn’t see why after paying over £200 including having their puddings and cake we weren’t allowed to have my mom’s birthday cake that I’d brought with us not even outside of the restaurant on one of the benches. She followed us outside watching closely to make sure we didn’t ready to have a go at us if we did. This lady spoilt it for us so we won’t ever have a gathering like this again there nor would we recommend it which is a shame as the food was good m, the rest of the staff lovely and the grounds are beautiful.

We happened upon this restaurant whilst staying at the Hilton Canary Wharf.

We stayed overnight on the way to a wedding, mid-week. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, and managed my limited diet very well - the food was lovely, and generous helpings. We stayed in Room 1, with lots of room and everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen excellent, and loads of hot water in a generous shower. We loved the old English atmosphere, and would definitely stay again if passing this way. Thank you for a great little stay.
