The food was amazing however it took a long time for food to arrive, a few bugs around the restaurant which wasnt ideal as it was going around peoples food.

our waitress was amazing her name was amy very attentive and catered for me and my fiends perfectly in every way possible

I was a huge fan of Nandos for over 7 years and our favourite is the full platter. Ordered the same today and I was utterly disappointed to see that the portion has reduced significantly to 1 large and 3 small pieces. Even our last order couple of months back had 2 breast and 2 full leg pieces. Also, did not taste the same, quality has gone down.

I was expecting more choice on the menu to be honest having not been to a nandos before. While the meal tasted fine it was nothing special either. The place wasn't busy but we waited quite a while for our food. A lot of jut eat take away drivers we're in and out while we were still waiting. Eventually 3out of 4meals came out then after asking for the last meal it came several minutes later. Not much customer service. Shame really.

Waited over 30 minutes for a table then over a further 30 minutes for food to arrive. Apparently short staffed but seemed plenty wandering around aimlessly! Food arrived, peri peri chips didn’t have any peri peri salt, corn on the cob was so cold the butter didn’t melt and the chicken butterfly was so over done it was mainly inedible!

Food was good. Drinks arrived when we had almost finished eating. Waited 30 minutes for our desert. Had to go up and ask for it to be served. Not good enough, poor service unfortunately

still waiting but ordered an hour and 7 minutes ago. not a great day for me at all. will update how long the rod was when it gets here

Great service in challenging circumstances. We visited this evening, towards the end of the day for this store. We ordered, but subsequently found some of our choices were not available. The staff and manager made sure we were provided with other choices, and in the end we were very happy with our meal here. Many a place does well when things go well and fa apart when it doesn't. Glad to say that the manager here and her staff made sure we were happy and were extremely attentive. We prefer this Nando's to the other one in the city, and that was well rewarded this evening. Great job to all staff. Thanks for being so attentive when you were so busy with alternate orders. Great job!!!

When we got home, discovered the order was wrong. Called them and a replacment meal was ready within 15 mins. Can't be anything but complimentary over the way they handled the mistake. The measure of an individual is not how many times they fall, but how many times they get back up. Well done and many thanks to Natalie and the rest of her team for rescuing my son's 18th birthday party so promptly and cheerfully. A credit to themselves and the business.

came in around 5pm as table for 2. staff not fully trained on how to deal with the covid track and trace regards checking in or taking details.was made to wait 15 minutes to wait for 4 bottles of beer - even though we were the only poeple in there! on entering, plenty of staff sitting eating there staff food on the tables having there social time. i was told off by this very young man who I think was supposed to be some kind of manager.... its very simple sir, you had the drinks order - get them to the table so we have something to drink instead of making us wait a stupid amount of time for you to simply put olives out on a plate! check the cctv if you dont agree! - wednesday 7th - only customers in!! as it got later, more tables around us, particluarly couples who were waiting for drinks also.I will never come back again, and thats for all the outlets - if you employ low trained kids who dont have the passion for service, you will keep losing money.once we did get our food, the lady waitress was nice and did a sufficient job.all in all, not good! and plenty more on the doorstep.

Not been impressed today as we wait for almost 40 minutes..We are a regular customer and it is first time happen to us,we felt like being ignored as we being served last compare with the other customer..

Food amazing, social distancing BEST we’ve been to, made the first after lockdown nandos a top experience! Just a shoutout to Jamie who served us from 8pm today, he was friendly and easy going, very professional and the reason we’ll be coming back!

I enjoyed Nandos on the 18th July, go back 5 days later to find they no longer deliver to my address. Pretty annoyed to say the least. I don't even live that far away and I paid a pretty penny (around £5) just for delivery. Oh well, your loss.

Came to This Nando’s as I wasn’t very impressed with the other Derby Nando’s. This one was a far better experience. Great service throughout the meal and the food was good. Chicken cooked well, not over cooked and well presented rather than just thrown on a plate. Would return and would recommend.

Lunchtime and hungry we tried Nandos for a change. With table service would have given 5 stars. Food was excellent and my glass of wine was delicious. Sat in the window and watched the world go by as we ate - very pleasant.

We hadn’t been to a Nando’s for someTimeAnd the last one was in Dubai where we were served at the table and so had forgotten what to do, we sat waiting for someone to serve us until we realised you had to go to the till and order and pay as the lady didn’t explain.Food was lovely though and as someone who is trying to be good the choice of salad and chicken is great. Not brilliant for desserts (prob a good job for me) my partner wanted a natty tarts but they didn’t have any. Doubt we will go for some time again as there are so many other better places to go.

As a Nandos lover, I've always visited the Nandos inside the Intu center. But this time, me and my boyfriend decided to pop into the Nandos on the market Square. 21/10/191- we had just visited the knife angel so it was closer.2- walking past and hearing the music gave me good vibes 3- I always like trying somewhere new.Upon arrival it was quite empty but was expected because, it was a weekday and it had only been open 1 hour (we visited at 12:15) and we was greated by a lovely lady named Amiee (she also served us at the till) she had a positive attitude and service with a smile which we appreciated. Due to it not being busy we could choose where to sit. We ordered food and it arrived within 15 minutes. Food was absolutely delicious as what we expected and the creamy mash is once again to die for. As useral staff came to. Check if everything was okay and it was. Once finish, amiee cleared our plates and again a friendly smile. we came here after visiting the knife angel to get a take away. won’t be doing that again! we had to wait 40ish minutes for our take away. it wasn’t very warm and was very dry. I always find this restaurant to be hit and miss. The one in Intu is usually a better bet!

I just don't understand the hype over Nandos. My partner and I paid £28 for two burgers, two chips and two sides. £28!? We used a gift voucher so that softened the blow a little, but I just do not how that price is justified. Was the food OK? Yes, but just OK...nothing special, just average. I have had better at my local pub for half the price. We waited 30 minutes for our food and had to go up and order it ourselves, plus no one checked on us, so the price certainly isn't justified by the service.It is a fast food style set up but slow and overpriced.Will not hurry back.

The restaurant was buzzing with lots of flies and was hot i ordered chicken that would be enough for one person and there was no meat on it very disappointing poor value for money

Came in on Saturday night for Nando’s before going to the casino. Chicken was good as per usual. Only fault was that we ordered peri peri fries but they came plain and then had to ask for the peri peri salt at the table.

I know you have to go to a counter if you are a McDonalds or Burger King, but at a Nando's too? I found it almost impossible to catch the attention of the staff as they were too damn busy flirting and horsing around to speak to any paying customers. Place was 80% empty. A warning sign there. I ended up walking out and eating elsewhere. Note to management. Hire staff that can be bothered to earn their money.

Came here about a week and a half ago, I’ve been here many times and never had issues but 10 minutes after we ordered and paid for our food we were told there would be a 20 minute wait. Granted they offered a free starter for us to share while we waited, so I tried to ask for the sharing one and they said no. After the woman suggested the wings and I tried to ask for the wings, she said no. Instead we shared 5 sticks of halloumi between us. So it was a bit pointless. Don’t give me the option of the sharing starter if you’re just going to say no. Once our food finally arrived I looked at the time we’d ordered it and we had been waiting 45 minutes. The restaurant was only half full at best too. Never coming to this Nando’s again. The communication between staff and customers was ridiculous.

£63.75 for 5 mains & 3 drinks and you have to go to the till and pay in advance plus the choice doesn't really go much further than chicken. The chips were soggy. There was a strong attempt to upset chicken with the Caesar salad. This ain't no cheap eats. Others do better for less with more choice. Shame on you Nandos as I doubt these were the founding principles of your brand.

The wife and I went their for lunch recently. The service was good, the food was the same as Nandos all over, nice, tasty with staffensuring that everything was OK.

Good tasty food.....friendly staff. Parking is an issue.....sometimes you might have to walk a lot to reach the car parking. No order taker like in Dubai. You need to order and pay first then they will serve you which I didn't like.

My partner and I have just been here and server Yasmin was extremely helpful with my allergin order and reassured me the kitchen would be informed, very welcoming and amazing at handling specific requirements.

I went in to buy a gift certificate as an Xmas present the reason I'm writing the review is because Tom who served me was the most helpful friendly person and extremely personable and made the whole buying experience really nice. Not only did we have a little bit of a laugh while purchasing the card he offered a bag to pop the certificate in a long with some sauces so it has made the gift card look a really lovely gift which I know my son will love thank you Tom

I can’t describe how annoying it is to order online, the website scrashes all time, but said my payment is successful. So irritated! & no one answers the phone!!!!! Terrible

Went for a family meal, butterfly chicken burger and peri peri fries were really good. Staff also polite.

Went last night with a mate. The place was empty which is weird as ever time I have walked past there have been quite a few people in there. Order and was nice that one of the blokes cooking the chicken came over and chatted about how spicy hot was. Food came out and glad I didn't go for spicy. Food was really nice and the staff were very friendly. Would visit again. Only reason why it's not 5 star is because we didn't have a table check and the beers are £4 a bottle.

Nice location. Had chicken wings and they looked a bit over cooked but ate them. I wish I had sent them back as they were just too burnt and I couldn’t eat a lot of the skin where the sauce is. I would have mentioned to waitress but she didn’t come to see if everything was ok until after we had finished. The cockerel stayed with us until after the meal was done! Very unusual for a Nandos as they are usually quick to ask if everything is ok with your meal.

Nando’s chicken has its cool long cooking taste. If you like hot, really hot, you should give a try. Chicken plates without sauces are simple thus they also work for kids who are not fond of complicates food plates. Decent price yet pretty small portions. I like:)

Particularly luv this branch because of its location, overlooking marketplace. It’s smaller than other Nando’s I’ve been to but the same great grilled chicken!

Went there with family for a celebration. Chicken was too dry. I ordered a spicy chicken but tasted quite bland :(

When you got on Nandos you know what to expect and here was the same. The food was great.

Only been to this venue the once, we usually go to the one in the intu centre. The thing aabout nandos is it is always good. This one could do with a bit of a sharpen in the decor department but don't let that put you off it is as fina place as any nandos.

1st time I have been to this Nandos. We were greeted by Brandon who showed us to a booth as there were 5 of us. He was very helpful & friendly & recommended a taxi firm as we were leaving.

Last time I ate in I wasn't impressed. The takeaway I had last night was lovely. Everything was well cooked, and I didn't have to sit will all the people who aren't quite old enough to go to the pub 😂

Visited on a half term lunchtime the restaurant is welcoming and clean. We had kids with us and setting us up with activities and a high chair was swift and professional. The restaurant sits on the marketplace facing the sun which even on a spring day with ceiling to floor windows became very warm very quickly. But the staff rolled down the snazzy blinds to take the sting out of the sun. The meal itself was excellent. I had half a roast chicken with coleslaw and fries done on the mango and lime "setting" which was delicious.

Out of 9 orders 4 were not correct. The orders were not sent out on time with 25mins between orders delivered. Extremely poor organization!

Well I and five other people went to Nando’s and I have a few commitments. Whilst the food and service was good the lighting was very poor almost non existent. I was bothered throughout my experience as I had to use a torch to see my food and menu.

I’ll start by making it clear - the food is fine. It’s chicken with seasoning and is as you would expect from any Nando’s (as with any fast food chain)

Cant rate it well, cant consider it bad. It's just a nandos innit... average chicken with average spices and extortionate beer. full of kids.

Don’t really know what to say it’s Nando’s but this is a good Nando’s and they always get my orders...

Any Nando’s we’ve been to has been a treat. Always a sure bet! This one is no different except for its lovely location across from market place, Derby city centre. One other thing, it feels just a bit run down. Still the best grilled chicken anywhere in the best liveliest environment!

Food was incredibley plain, the refillable drinks tasted disgusting, dessert menu not worth bothering with. Staff paid little attention as they rushed around. I paid the extra over other places for what?!

I love popping into this Nandos - it's far enough from the main drag of the Intu and shops not to be too busy, but close enough not to be too much of a trek!

My other half and myself were looking forward to a relaxing ,tasty meal in Nandos,which we chose because we like the food.However,as soon as we walked through the door the loud music put us off.I realise that this was probably part of the atmosphere but as the restaurant was almost empty it just seemed loud. We eventually decided not to stay ,explaining why to the young lady who came to seat us-she was unimpressed and made no attempt to get us to stay i.e. by offering to switch it down slightly. Ah well,there are plenty of other eating establishments in Derby and we were not disappointed by our eventual choice.

This was a late decision on a Friday night, a really light and airy restaurant with big windows and high ceilings and plenty of room between tables. Staff were really friendly and service was good, food was up to the usual standard - recommended

The restaurant has recently been refurbished and is always busy. The menu is the same, but still very good and excellent value for money.I visit this restaurant on a regular basis and am looking forward to my next visit.

Visited this restaurant with family to celebrate my brother in laws birthday. We usually visit the nandos at intu but it was fully booked. During our visit we endured terrible customer service where the waitress rolled her eyes at us for asking them to correct their error as they brought out the wrong meal for my daughter and further into the night her and a colleague were stood in earshot discussing our table, very rudely expressing their opinions between themselves not giving a care if they were heard or not, specifically towards my brother in law who's birthday it was. One waiter who was around 18 in age was very patronising towards my brother in law stating not to cut off his fingers when cutting his birthday cake, he spoke as if he was speaking to a child but then further patronised him by coming along and telling him to hold out his hands and walked off saying oh yes all your fingers are still there. When I asked a different member of staff if I could speak to a manager I was told 'yes one minute I'll get someone to come over to you' for then the same person to come along and claim he is the manager and asked how he could help, when I explained the issue with his rude staff he said 'oh yeah that's not acceptable. Sorry about that, I wish there was more I could do and I know whatever I say will not change your opinion in coming here again' the food was not really up to nandos standard either. We will be sure to go to the intu centre restaurant in future.

First time at Nando's and have to say thoroughly enjoyed the experience.The best of course is the food, and the butterfly chicken was superb. With fries on the side and coleslaw. Far too much, but boy I tried to finish it all.The menu was slightly confusing although staff were more than happy to help, strange also you needed to order at a counter rather than a waiter/waitress but we got there.Wine selection was poor, and my selection poorer for a full bodied red. It was actually weak and light......as a supposedly Portuguese chain get some decent Portuguese wines, Dao, Atlentejo, or Douro to add to the delicious food!Lastly the sauces......wow, but beware the hotter ones, very peri-peri!!

The food is always delicious, super friendly service and a nice atmosphere. I Would go back any time.

Visited Saturday 26 Nov with the family. Two of our party wanted one of the veggie options - they are dairy intolerant.When we mentioned this a huge book was offered for us to search through ourselves.After selecting and ordering we were told that there was only two of the three veggie options available (how can you run short of veggie burgers). It was then explained by the till server, after she consulted the book that both of these were suitable. After a conversation with the chef we found they weren't!In fairness the chef adapted the recipe and so those with dietary needs ate. The level of staff knowledge / care with regards to food intolerance was shocking - I don't think that I have seen worse. And to be handed a huge book, instead of being guided isn't really acceptable. My first experience of a Nandos - doubt I will ever go again.

I'm a big fan of Nandos, but I was a little disappointed with this one. Chicken was dry, not much sauce on it either. My friend had a corn on the cob with his dinner which resembled an acorn. It was dry and burnt. Had the orange wings, which if I didn't know they were orange flavoured I wouldn't have guessed.

Went here for a quick snack, early doors. Just as they were opening this day 12 noon. The staff were very friendly and we choose three dishes, which were served hot and the food was as ordered, delicious. The chef, actually came out and asked if we enjoyed the food and offered options for deserts. Perfect snack. I'm not a fan normally of Nandos, because I'm a veggie, however, because of Steve,s warm welcome we will return to this one.

We are visiting Derby and thought we can't go wrong with a Nando's.Sure enough we weren't disappointed.Great food,great service. Nice and quick but yummy. Well done on great consistency within your branches.

Went to Nando's mid week evening with friends, had no trouble getting a table which was good. After we had made our selection and ordered, had just a few minutes before the food arrived. We really enjoyed the chicken on the bone, a good portion nicely cooked (not dry) with a few fries and a beer, what could be better.It was a long time since we last visited, but I am sure we will be back sooner rather than later.

Three adults and two children enjoyed a family lunch st Nando's. enjoyed a range of food varying from vegetarian and the kids menu and the sangria cooler.Speedy friendly service - would come again.

Visited on a busy Friday evening. There was a 39 minute wait for a table which we expected since we didn't book ahead. Once ordered the food came in good time and way tasty.

I visited today with work colleagues for a lunch. We were seated quickly, ordered and lunch arrived quickly. We had a range of food, and bottomless drinks. The food was all of a good standard. It's a pleasant environment, comfortable we all were easily seated together. Staff were efficient, polite and helpful. We have been before and the service and food has in my experience been consistent. All round it's a good place for a lunch of this type, the menu accommodates a range of dietary requirements.

We regularly visit this nandos. The food is usually always very good and the service is too. My partners chicken was a bit tough the other day and a bit disappointing but may have been a one off as we haven't experienced this before. It can get quite cool in there with the air con on at times so when we bring our little boy, we will have to ask them to turn it off/down!

Whenever there's a Nando's around, I'm going!!! Staff were friendly, especially the brunette trainee who I had a laugh with while ordering. Food was very tasty but took slightly longer than the typical Nando's wait to arrive (though there were 5 of us dining so we had a decent chat while waiting).

We've been going here for a couple of years on a regular basis and I've honestly only had a couple of slightly dissapointing visits normally in the form of luke warm Nacho Peas or a cold and dry corn on the cob. Having said that food wise it's been spot on for months now and they always replace items you feel are not right.My only gripe is that they insist on having the air conditioning on all year round! and if your sat in the wrong place it gets pretty cold! (They never turn it down when you ask so I've just had to learn to dress accordingly!) Often when you look around people are sat eating in their coats!All in all though this is a nice Nandos and the staff are always pleasant.

Like everyone I have been to Nandos a million times and its usually good and hits the spot. Unfortunately on my visit here the chips were cold and the creamy mash was also cold. The food did get replaced but we didnt recieve any apology for having cold food initially

Very friendly staffs! Gorgeous food especially the chickens (obviously)and chips with peri peri! < fav! However, really wanted chicken drumsticks for my little ones but didn't have anymore so a little disappointedoverall good experience

Enjoyed a meal here whist staying in Derby and found it very good. Staff were helpful and food cooked very well and plenty of it.One negative was staff standing behind the counter drinking can of drink and 1 of the waitresses walking around the restaurant area with a can and continually drinking.

I've not been to a Nandos for about 18 years but thought I'd give it a go. The service was ultra friendly and they even pulled the blinds down due to the dazzling winter sun. The food was moist, well cooked and arrived promptly. For the price, a great meal. Their 5 star food hygiene rating was also reassuring.

I have been eating here for many years, and have always been really pleased with the service.The restaurant is clean, the service is great, and the food is always lovely no matter what I choose.Highly recommended!

Have been here a few times but in this occasion was left disappointed. My chicken was black on the outside and extremely dry and not very warm. Chips were hot and my friends dinner was just ok. The people next to us were extremely drunk and staff didn't come near but we had to put up, then to top matters off, a drunk man was thrown through the door and police had to be called. Not the peaceful dining experience we wanted. Will go to the one in the Westfield next time!

It seems all of my reviews are good but rest a sure, all my reviews ate completely accurate and represent the true standard of the places. Anyway, Nando's in Derby is fabulous it was quick, clean and served amazing food. The service was also really friendly. We had a really good time :)

We ordered two kids meals and two adult meals. It was a bit pricey, and the food wasn't anything to rave about. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The medium is not spicy at all. Definitely glad they had bottles of the sauce available. They were having a party with quite a few teens, so it was loud and VERY dirty. The dessert machine was dripping all over the floor. The staff was friendly enough, but it's not on a list of where we'd want to go back.

As I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly waitress who set up the table for 10 people. Ordered a bottle of wine for £14!! (Forgot to present the discount card!!). Anyway, in terms of ordering your meal, you need to order at one of the tills. In which the staff are more than willing to help. I opted for the plain chicken wrap with pineapple and 2 regular sides (corn on the cob and side salad). When the meals arrived for everyone they looked very well presented and nothing was left on anyones plate hardly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I can now safely say that I have certainly popped my cherry and I am no longer a Nandos virgin. Will definitely be back to try something a bit more spicer!! Thoroughly enjoyed the company. Lovely friendly staff here, but to be told 2 of their mains would be a 20 minute wait is poor for a fast food outlet (it was midweek, early evening and there were about 10 people in there!) corn on the cob looked like it had seen the grill at lunchtime! Could do better guys.

Came here before a night out in town, what can I say it's the best place for some nice peri peri chicken! Don't really need to explain anything! It's Nandos, if you know you know! If you don't know, well try and where have you been in the last few years! Can't ever go wrong with cheeky Nandos!

4 friends out for evening on a theatre trip. Visited Nando's for meal and to watch Christmas lights switch on. Waiter found us table near windows to watch. We had 4 very different meals all superb. All staff very friendly and efficient, would definitely visit again.
