Ridiculous 'breakfast' and 'lunch' policy. We arrived at 11.20 to be told we couldn't have a bacon BAP as breakfast food was not served beyond 11.15! No sandwiches either because those were not served until 12.00. Will not be returning.

What a shame that they have started charging extortionate prices for mediocre food. Had a bacon sandwich in a very stale roll. Then ordered a piece of cake. £6.50 for. Cake and £3 for a Coke with not even a glass or any ice. Absolute madness.

Well excuse me for being thick - but is was only slightly longer than a hot dog bun - couple of mouthfuls only, nice salad. We had a piece of cake between us and pot of tea for two. Price circa £ I think this is taking the mickey. Thought it wasnt as busy as usual, would imagine extortinate prices will put people off. Shame on you. Bill £22.90

A very enjoyable night, bought for us as a present. Ideal for a special event not so much your regular night out. We had a starter and then a citrus duo of puddings, then it was pretty much free choice from the rest of the cold and hot sweets. I stuck to cold sweets, the only suggestion I could offer to the Jinney Ring is: cut down on the normal size portions. My husband had to give up after two pieces (lightweight), I managed to get through four different sweets just about. Had the portion sizes been smaller, like the citrus duo, we could have tried a few more (I know we could have requested a small portion but we didn't realize at the time). I therefore suggest 'sushi style' smaller individual plates, or suggest that patrons consider sharing. A bit of fresh fruit, strawberries etc or ice cream would also have added more interest and texture as the cold desserts were fairly cream heavy. Service was good, friendly and efficient, the cheese board was a nice finish

Beware if eating in the restaurant, check if they have a function first. Went here recently, the member of staff gladly took our order and around £20.00 for food and drinks, then as an after thought said we could not sit and eat indoors as they were preparing for a function, bar a small full area by the toilets or the outside tables on a cold windy afternoon. Had this been explained prior to ordering we wouldn't have bothered. In addition one of the cups was cracked and leaking all over the tray, upon raising this there was little concern or apology. Overall very poor customer service, which let's down the otherwise decent food and drinks. I have visited here a number of times previously, however it seems the standards have somewhat fallen. We will look to avoid here in future and will advise anyone else who asks about it to do the same. As an idea maybe put up signs saying function on or are u worried this will affect till takings, hence the dishonest behaviour?

Visited a couple of times, midweek and for Sunday lunch. A lovely location with a duck pond and fields outside next to the craft centre shops. Quite unusual in what looks like an old barn. There is a good choice of home cooked meals including pies, quiche, roast dinners and homemade cakes. The portions are always good and the food well presented, service can be a bit slow and meals end up lukewarm, but remedied quickly. You can get a two course meal midweek for approximately £15 so not cheap but a nice setting.

The Belinda Terry earrings and bracelet, purchased over my time here are beautiful and unique. This is a special place!

My Mum and I visited the Jinney Ring Restaurant last Friday with my new born baby. This was one of my first journeys out with my new born due to COVID so was feeling rather nervous and anxious.I couldn’t have felt more safe though. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Due to us having the pram the waitress kindly sat us at a table in its own little area, allowing me to put my baby in his pram in the corner away from everyone. The restaurant had also put up perspex on the timber dividers allowing separation in line with the COVID restrictions but still allowing you to see the beautiful lakes while eating and not feel claustrophobic.I would just like to thank the restaurant staff for making us feel so safe in these difficult times. We look forward to returning.

I’m not one for terrible reviews but I didn’t enjoy my experience at Jinneys. We stopped by for some coffee, cake and a look at the ducks. On walking to the pond there was a chain across the walkway and a lady (who worked there) said we couldn’t have our coffee round the back by the pond as it was for “lunch guests only” rather rudely. It was only 11:45am and there was others enjoying a coffee by the pond. Never mind, we went round to the cramped front area and luckily got a seat. On purchasing our coffee we decided against the cake as the lady had been impolite in her manner and we didn’t fancy spending too long at the cafe. The queue was long and people were not very socially distant. The poor lady behind the till/bar was making all the coffees / drinks all by herself for both the cramped front area and the larger pond area - she was apologetic and I felt very sorry for her. The coffee / hot chocolate we bought were poor from a machine - Cool in temperature and not great in taste. Overall we won’t be back and maybe we were fools for even staying for a coffee. In terms of social distancing having the pond area open would be much wiser to have people in!!!

This is simply unacceptable especially at the price. Adding insult to injury, the coffee cups are cheap & nasty too. Please put some finesse back into the Jinney Ring. It’s tired and uninviting....

Arrived with a friend at restaurant opening times for coffee and to look around. We hadn’t met in months (much like most people at the moment. Seated in the main restaurant it was FREEZING. As all widows and doors open on a grey, windy and drizzly day. I closed windows as the elderly ladies by me got cold. Although the set up was for covid regs it was too over the top as the windows were opened again by the manager repeating it was for air flow due to covid, then anxiously correcting people’s seats, delegating to staff and the people near me also picked up on this. Created a tense atmosphere. At 12.02pm she approached us as asked if he wanted lunch and if not could we leave as it’s reserved for lunch. I looked around and it was empty. I counted 18 tables totally free and no queue at all for lunch. Interrupted yet another customer to abide by the new covid rules...totally over the top. No customer care for people visiting. I had been warned by my mum that there was an unfriendly staff a few days before. She was correct! I checked this lady was the manager and proceeded to communicate how unnecessary it was to ask us to leave given the spare tables and no people waiting. She continued to stand by her choice and had absolutely no regard for the fact it had spoilt our get together or how it came across. And pointed out a small sign showing the ‘rules’, to which I expressed no one told us the time limit we had. This small sign was behind me as I came in. Absolutely terribly hospitality attitude towards paying customers. It was still as bare when we left half an hour later after looking at the stores. We won’t be returning!

Desert was a bit of a surprise as it said it was an apple and custard cake (sounded interesting) but was an apple sponge with custard. But 50p per 1/2 pint of water!!! I have been to plenty of cheap local cafes to Michelin restaurants and never been charged for tap water with a meal. Won't be rushing back purely because of this.On a last note, I'm comfortable with staff wearing or not wearing masks. But one member of staff wore the mask over mouth but under her nose. Since we arrived late in the afternoon we were more into tea time, but wanted something more substantial. We were offered some good cauliflower soup, and a very tasty hummus and red pepper toastie. Although we didn't order any, the cake selection looked absolutely terrific. This would be a good place for families, friends and anyone else who wants a reasonable bite while touring the craft (and craft beer!) shops. An added bonus is the duck pond out back, which will certainly interest the younger crowd.

This means you can purchase unique products many hand made by the shop owners which is great for gifts. Some of the shops offer classes to make the items which encourages your creativity. You must visit the glass shop as you can see glass blowing demonstrations. The gardens are beautiful and I was impressed with the range of sculptures strategically placed to enhance the space. These are available to purchase. There is a restaurant with a large outdoor space over looking the lake and gardens. I would recommend a visit and would definitely return.

I don’t write many poor or average reviews and I do like the jinney ring as a whole, it is lovely that kids can feed the ducks (extra cost) and cakes are brilliant but the main meals are so vastly overpriced. You pay over £10 for a meal which is scooped out of a large dish (like when you’re at school), or have alternative of a toasty for £6, and you put it on a tray and take it to your table. The staff are lovely and drinks ok but the pricing for main meals really needs a rethink.

Lots of the original small craft studios are there, glass making, chocolate making, violin and wood crafts. Called into the restaurant today for a quick bite. The children's lunch box contained a sandwich, pom bear crisps and a fruit shoot. Not my choice really and at £4.95 I thought this was expensive but my son was hungry.....I would rather have been able to opt for a piece of fruit but I went with it. I asked for a Ham sandwich, no choice of brown or white bread offered......it came as white bread wrapped in a mountain of cling film hmmmmmmm!!! I asked for a children's Babycino not too hot so my 4yr old could drink it and a Latte. On to the tray they went. I also asked if I could have a baked potato with tuna mayo as the only choice on the menu was cheese or cheese and beans, both of which I don't eat. A huge potato with a tiny level ramekin of tuna mayo. I had to ask if 'that was it?' There was barely a tablespoon!!!! The portion of tuna mayo was doubled thankfully or I might have handed it back but really only enough for half the potato. Off to our table we went in what is a pleasant restaurant with the view and the location if you sit at the back or in the garden. So back to the hot drinks.....my sons Babycino was so hot he couldn't drink it straight away so I stirred it until it was palatable for him but I am sure it was powdered milk out of a machine as the consistency was very watery for milk or it was semi skimmed which is pointless for a child from a nutrition point of view, but I did taste it and I am fairly sure it was powdered and told my son not to drink it but he did cos he is 4 and wanted his Babycino. My Latte was unfortunately no better.......not an ounce of fresh steamed milk in site but rather powdered coffee and milk out of a machine. Its 20 years since my last visit and the food hasn't improved much in that time. Very basic for the prices being charged, all be it the restaurant was busy and they obviously have a market, I was not impressed.

We had lunch here whilst visiting the craft centre, excellent value, good sized portions, I have a pop and stuffing bap with a bowl of chunky chips, wife had the soup of the day. All very good, nice clean restaurant with a nice view over a couple of ponds.

We have visited this lovely craft centre on many occasions, both as a couple (we are pensioners) and with the grandchildren. It is delightfully situated with a lovely lake, outstanding views, ducks for the children to feed and a host of garden decorations and statues. The actual craft shops are interesting and varied. Why then my title "Such a Pity"? There is a splendid restaurant area within the complex serving delicious cakes and ice creams but alas the team of ladies working in there seem to think there is no need for a smile, a friendly greeting, or indeed a "goodbye" when guests depart. This applies particularly to a couple of the (dare I say) older ladies who seem to think they are doing us a favour by serving us. Yesterday for example when my wife and I left we were not even acknowledged by the two ladies concerned as we passed in front of the counter.....and we were the only ones in there!! I have heard similar comments from other diners. Perhaps a few basic lessons in "people skills" would not be amiss. In spite of that we shall continue to visit this delightful centre...it is somewhere rather special.

Just popped in for a coffee after taking grandson swimming nearby. Probably the best time to visit if the week. (Its Wednesday morning). Serving staff lovely and chatty. Just as important though delicious coffee and lemon sponge. As usual the duck pond outside is a hive of activity. Really good visit. There are probably times of the week I wouldn’t drop by. Shops are brilliant too.

Have visited on many occasions but disappointed on this visit that gift shop was being refurbished so not a lot to see as presumably it was being prepared for Christmas. All other outlets were interesting. In cafe feel it totally unacceptable not to have prices on the cakes displayed as for anyone on a budget it would make it difficult to make a choice.

I left a full review on the main Jinney Ring Trip Advisor page, so do check that out if you're planning on a celebration here!Amanda and the team were fantastic at preparing a high tea for our wedding day afternoon and catering for a large amount of dietary requirements was executed perfectly. The chef is AMAZING! Thank you so much! Amanda was in touch with me helping me to plan everything perfectly an the chef called me and went through a detailed run down and came up with something better than I could have imagined. I actually got to eat something I really enjoyed on my wedding day! We had a great time here, the backdrop is beautiful with views of the Malverns. I used to come here as a child with my Nan's partner and her and with this amazing memory too last forever, I cannot thank you enough Amanda and the team! We had vegan cheeses, gluten free scones, vegan, gluten free dairy free you name it and it tasted AMAZING! They do offer a vegan and gluten free option daily for cakes if you want to nip in for a cheeky afternoon tea and cake, our menu was specially put together and pre-ordered so if thats something you're looking to do then I do not hesitate to recommend booking up here. The chef is a genius. Thanks again for making our day perfect!!

We cycled to the Jinney Ring given that we live locally. The setting is nice with lovely views and management are clearly trying to create something that is a bit different from the norm. But £4.60 for a single tea pot with 2 tea bags in it? Surely you've got to be joking? Sadly, no!

I visit The Jinney Ring Centre regularly. It is a great place to bring friends who are visiting and the views from the restaurant are worth the journey. The ducks provide endless amusement. In the past I have stood with a friend in the queue at the restaurant counter and could not find anything to eat and we left. That happened again last Wednesday. The difficulty was that we had come to do some shopping which was successful. We did not have much time and all we wanted was something quick which would fill a hole in the tummy to enable us to get to the next appointment. We both watch our weight and do not eat cake and I do not at meat. The amount of cake on display was daunting. We hoped for a salad but the salad bar offerings were too calorific to contemplate. We left and did much better at Parkes Cafe in Droitwich,If you come here be prepared to eat a heavy full fattening meal. Allow yourself lots of time to enjoy the view and the ducks. If I am honest whenever I come with a friend I usually sit and watch them eat. There is nothing much here for a healthy eating vegetarian. The person who complained about the lack of a simple sandwich has my whole hearted support.

We popped into the restaurant/cafe midweek after a long walk in search of a sandwich. We were told no sandwiches but we do do toasties. There was a choice of two, ham cheese and tomato or brie and red onion. No choice of bread, even cheap places offer a choice of white or brown. We had one of each, the toasties came on cheap white bread with a very sad idea of a side salad.Over priced cheap food.

Althiugh Im giving the restaurant an average rating Id still recommend having a visit, especially on a nice day. the setting is just beautiful and the surrounding craft trades really interesting, so great place for younger kids. Foodwise, the options are quite limited- we did visit at lunch so perhaps a more varied menu is available in the evening, but as the stores wont be open/ setting not as enjoyable I wouldnt be interested in vistin at thise times. You can get various cakes and hot/cold drinks, which is really all you need. althiugh the prices arent cheap they arent extortioante either- pretty average really for a craft centre ie middle class early afternoon family trip out. The ladies who worked behind the counter were all really friendly and lovely as well.

Nice field area with animals behind the jinney ring. Restaurant not so good as I found it expensive and the food only okay. Have events on regularly.

Great place to visit for all the family. Lots of lovely craft shops to visit and then a visit to the restaurant for coffee is a must. They do a delicious range of cakes and pastries which are hard to resist. The area outside is beautiful with views over the Worcestershire countryside which on a summers day is gorgeous. The two ponds host a variety of fish and the ducks are always a big hit with the children.

As the title states the place is beautiful and lovely on summers day but the food in what can only be called as canteen style food or bodged carvery as it's not cooked to order it, we were in there for roughly about 2 and half hours and the food didn't appear to get changed over apart from some from the hols and peas were replenished I say replenished as in new food out on top of old. If we hadn't already had eaten I would there I would have turned round and gone Maccies in droitwich and saved approx 19 quid even for bog standard food they charge mid to too range prices. I will return to the place but will make sure i bring a packed lunch

We were looking for something different for a Sunday drive out where we could also get lunch. We found Jinny Ring on TripAdvisor and liked the sound of it. Fortunately it was a lovely sunny day and we spent a couple of hours browsing the craft shops before visiting the restaurant for the carvery. We all opted for the beef and it melted in your mouth. One of the best value carverys we have had. Great place with loads to do.

The Jinny Ring is set in beautiful surroundings and myself and my husband were very much looking forward to attending one of the infamous Pudding Nights here. The food was lovely, but the whole evening was overshadowed by the shocking service we received. It took over 20mins to receive our drinks after ordering at the start of the evening, the wrong puddings were served when ordering, we were not offered tea & coffee at the end of the evening and we sat at our table for 45 minutes waiting for the bill with no staff in sight. We attended as the night was paid for as a gift, there is no way it is worth the amount charged. Very disappointing!

I bought a gift voucher for a meal at Jinny Ring for a friend at xmas. Valid for a year so we chose to go yesterday as part of a lovely walk around the Hanbury area in glorious spring sunshine. The meal was lovely. Home cooked food with plenty of veg, spoilt for choice with the mains and puddings/cakes to die for. Views, near and far, from the restaurant are sublime. We both bought items from the craft units and highly recommend

The Jinny ring is a great place to have a walk around and look at all the different craft outlets that are there. The glass workshop is definitely worth a visit with everything for sale being handmade, and you can see the glass items being made in front of you by the team who work there. The restaurant is a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat, with great views of the duck pond and gardens it's a good place to sit and relax. The food and drinks are well priced and the quality of food is good. The little chocolate shop is also a must, it's not cheap, but their products are very good quality so you expect to pay a bit extra.

Visited here on a Sunday morning just out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised. A mix of craft shops and a restaurant. We saw glass blowing, a potter and an artist completing one of his paintings... Producing goods that you can buy in their shop. The restaurant is really popular and food good quality. Outside there is a small lake and birds to enjoy. Recommend!

I have been here a few times before but thought it was about time I did a review. Lovely café with substantial, very reasonably priced food. Today on a cycle ride with a friend, I had delicious carrot and coriander soup with a cheese, tomato and onion toastie, and we shared a slice of chocolate cake. All very tasty. Never had a bigger meal but I must say today the meals looked really good too and only about £9 for a good meal with plentiful amounts of vegetables. Will have to try one of those on a future visit. There is also a lovely sitting out area with a pond and ducks. Too cold today to sit out though. Great craft workshops to wander around too. Would definitely recommend.

Worth a visit even if you only browse but I bet you buy something!

The craft centre has something of interest for all ages. There are about 12 craft studios, gift shops and a restaurant. There are gardens, a pond and plenty of ducks to feed. There's also a Memory Tree outdoors where you can pay for a glass leaf with a personal message etched on it to be attached to the tree. The fee includes a £10 donation for the Alzheimer's Society. One of our family members had a leaf attached last year! After visiting the tree we enjoyed a visit to the lovely quaint restaurant which is also used for evening private functions. We visited for coffee and cakes which were very enjoyable.

It was very pleasant to drink coffee whilst watching the ducks swimming around the lake.My tip is to make sure you take a table overlooking the grounds.
