The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

Waited at a busy bar for 15 minutes. The bar was an absolute state. Beer overflowing from the glasses, slopped all over the side of almost every visible surface. Evry serve was full of head/foam, and so all were short measures. 2 members of staff on Christmas eve. Got pushed in front of a couple of times (a decent bar person would have spotted this, but these two were not monitoring the bar at all... in many ways), which happens, but then when asked who was next and I said "yeah, that's us" I got ignored. When I spoke up for myself, one of the bar staff heard and took offense, and after saying "we don't need that kind of negativity in here, especially on Christmas eve." I decided to leave. I stopped the other bar staff member, and told them that they had done a "great job", and gave them some of the positive words they were craving, even though everything about that bar and service screamed mismanaged, understaffed, overcharged, undeserved and unprofessional. I won't be going back.

Excellent country pub. Great food provided by small street food pop ups. The best place in the vale of Glamorgan for craft beers.

I had to ask for my order, the toasts were brought to me, I had to ask for the rest, the scones were finally brought.....while other customers who arrived well after me were finishing their meals!! ! The tea ordered only arrived after asking for the bill and pointing out that I didn't get it....bad experience, spending my time Le Bras en l'air to question the waiters, all for reasons avocados on toast, nothing too complicated.

We were treated to an exemplary meal here. I'm really non plussed by the recent poor reviews. The restaurant is attractive and comfortable. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was of a standard which was first class. We opted for the Chateau Briand which was perfectly cooked and presented. Delicious,!

Sunday Lunch Roast Minted Lamb Pie Awesome food Great service (not table service, but I prefer to order at the bar, no rush and you can dot it when you're ready) ..and don't get me started on the Eton Mess (how much cream??!!) I'll be back

Breakfast was good. Eggs, bacon, hash brown, and a scone for two under 9 dollars. Coffee is free with IKEA card.

first visit to this evening takeaway following a recommendation from the owners of Archway Cafe in Hersham. We went for two wraps with Doner chicken and chips. Epic portions, very good quality ingredients, cooking and flavour. Will definitely visit again.

The only kebab house you can trust. Always exceptional food. Great staff and delivery people are absolute gems. Attention to detail on what you've actually requested too which is rare. Don't bother with others in lancing / Worthing area, they're no:1 Typical order is mixed kebabs so I get a blend of all the tasty treats.

Food is always excellent, and so quick to deliver after order! I've enjoyed every single meal I've ordered from here

Rating as Kings. Food delivered cold, part of the order missing, and refused to return call to resolve. Won’t be going back.

Best House special kebab and Pizza for miles. Clean establishment, friendly and welcoming service. Home made chilli and garlic sauce (nowadays its difficult to see any where else).Highly recommended!

Came here for a work lunch when I was in London, lovely ambience, and the staffs were really friendly. Had the prawn risotto and it was flavourful and huge!

We fought our way through the snow to meet family for lunch. We were greeted as usual by friendly staff. There was about 16 of us so we had to pre order which roast we wanted. I had pre ordered roast pork along with two others in our family. When it arrived it was not roast pork. It was gammon joint. I was told by a stroppy waitress it was pork. Iv had Sunday roast here on many occasions it's always been lovely. Then a young guy came over and told us he would change it as it wasn't roast pork,which was super nice of him. We didn't get an explanation as to why we were given gammon. Specially as we had to preorder. The rest of the roast was great as per. The restaurant was empty but didn't matter as the staff were very attentive.

This must be the best restaurant at Gunwharf Quays. I love eating there as a couple, with friends and every Christmas our group of friends have a pre-Christmas lunch there - it never disappoints. Always great food, superb service and a jolly atmosphere. Pre-ordering our choices makes the day stress-free - and, due to several of us being regulars, we were treated to complimentary fizz on arrival which was lovely. Thank you everyone - and we will be back!

Distinctly average. If you carry the Blanc name you expect more.
