Fab food, quick service, friendly staff.

This exquisite spot made my taste buds come back to like after that horrendous experience at gormet burger kitchen. My needs were met on portion taste and atmosphere and did stuff to me that my husband could never! We were 5 people and we politely asked to sit at a circular table that was more comfortable for us. The manager told us that we couldn't sit there because there were only 5 of us and that table was for more people. But 10 minutes later two young men came to sit at that circular table without any problem. Nandos, stop thinking about your profits and think more about the requests of the customers. The fact that you enforce your rules with some customers and not with others could be seen as a type of discrimination.

Amelie was so sweet, she greeted me and when I was feeling a little dizzy offered water but I was all good and didn’t need it. But that being said, she really cares for the people coming in and is a seriously great staff member at Nando’s. She deserves a raise!

Restaurant was over 30° with no aircon working. Fire alarm constantly sounding. Order took ages to be delivered to table.

As it says on the tin. Food was fresh and quick. Staff happy and helpful 😊

Not a huge review guy! However, unplanned business trip from Newcastle. Checked into the hotel next door. Of course, with how late I was the restaurant was closed. Too tired find a nice steakhouse I went into Nandos next door, I don't believe I've even had a Nandos before. Long story short the waitress Amelie was so nice and helpful I had to ask her name to leave a review. Thank you! (Food was lovely too!)

Been coming to Bedford Nando’s for years and don’t think I’ve really had a bad experience staff have always been great and at one point was on first name terms with them I was going that frequently

Staff were nice. Ordered food to take away on Saturday just gone, came home to find hairs in my humus. Disgusting.

Such a shame to have to write a bad review. We popped into Nandos for a quick bite to eat before heading out for evening but I wish I hadn't of bothered. "Nandos, you don't have to overcook the chicken to within an inch of its life, chicken can be juicy and cooked" Other than that, service was OK, location is great.

Bog standard food nothing to write home about. The only toilet in use was the disabled toilet other toilets locked.

My wife was insistent that we eat at Nando’s while visiting London. I didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The ordering system was easy, you order and pay from your phone and then the food gets delivered to your table. We both got vegetarian options and thoroughly enjoyed them. The mac and cheese was especially good but the corn was just ok.

Disappointing! Worst service ever! Seated at a table that was too small for 5 people. Had to ask twice to change tables and they barely agreed. Second table and chairs were dirty, We had to clean them ourselves. No bother whatsoever from their end to help when saw us doing so.All servers were in another world, felt like they were all stoned,their response time was so slow. Had starters delivered before the drinks , usually food takes longer to cook rather than grabbing bottles and glasses from shelves. Burger bun was so hard it felt like it was left out to dry for a day. Shocking, never had such a bad experience in a Nando's before.

Starters were brought once we hit button to order. The mains took sometime but its cool knowing we ordered for Saturday dinner(peak time) the rainbow slaw looked appalling ( looked dry like it been sitting for days) and no seeds on top, we brought the salad back and she said she sent the slaw like that because she has no seeds, then the waiter( chubby lad) apologised and said he knows there are some at the back so he brought the bowl with seeds back and apologized 2nd time. There were ONLY 2 staff who were smilling the rest seemed like they are in funeral, miserable like they don't even want to be there!

Absolutely amazing little gem in the heart of Bedford ♥️perfect location with big windows over looking the river Ouse. The food was fantastic, celebrated my partners birthday and the staff came out with a candle sing happy birthday to him. Eliza the manager was making sure we are comfortable and had time to chat to us. Lila took plates and checked on us if we ok. Great customer service very polite staff. Fantastic atmosphere. Food was good lovely waitress and was served food quickly, only negative is I was sat under a speaker witch was a bit loud but was great otherwise

Nice place, good location and good menu choice. It's your typical nandos! Dropping of food was a bit hap hazard but all in all good experience

We ordered take away. The order was delivered with items missing, drinks and 2 lots of Coleslaw. All of the food that did turn up was absolutely cold. The chips on two of the meals should have been peri-peri but instead were plain and to boot were also like cardboard in texture. I rang Nandos customer services who said they would be able to offer a refund providing the rest of the food had been delivered and he said to call back after the missing items had been delivered, they had sent a second driver out with the missing items. 30 minutes later they were delivered. I rang customer services a second time again and the woman I got on the phone was arguing with me that they would not give me a refund. Then she said they would offer £16, to which I said no and that I want a full refund due the quality of the food been so poor. I will be opening a dispute with my credit card company in an attempt to get my money back. I would advise that you don’t order from Nandos, save your money and go somewhere else. You can spend £64 somewhere nicer and get a much better experience!

Nandos is Nice in Bedford but the only problem that they have is they take too long with the food staff are friendly and do try their best but I still prefer my area nandos which has more higher standards. 😊

Staff friendly and the food was hot and quick. Could have been crispier (chicken thighs) but okay. Like all chains these days I'd question the value but fine for a one off.

The toilets were disgusting the toilet brush had poo all over it toilet roll over the floor horrible

I ordered a sharing platter as takeaway and received neither houmous nor any accompaniments with it. It was a big disappointment for the family. Pitta without houmous, sweet potato wedges plain and halloumi on its own. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Some of the food is a bit small but all around good.

Very very busy but service was faultless especially from Manager Eliza who is an asset to the restaurant. Great manager !!and it's obvious her professionalism and kindness has a great effect on the team. Can't wait to visit again soon

Went for a meal with my granddaughter in Bedford only 6 tables used so assumed we would be dealt with quickly, took an hour for food as they where more interested getting the take away orders out, will never eat there again.

Really great Nando’s I always go here with family when we are at Bedford I really recommend getting your chicken breasts or butter fly chicken with peri tamer adds a new barbecue kick to it

Went there in good mood to eat but when i went to order there was Kojri I don't who he was a manager or whoever was very rude no good customer service he doesn't know how to talk to customer. Never go back there again.

I ordered a Nando’s today and I was very surprised to see a lot more lettuce and chicken. I should have taken picture of the wrap because it was that bad and charging 7.00 for a chicken wrap when there is hardly any chicken and more lettuce is ridiculous! I defo will not be getting a wrap again after todays experience!

I've visited a number of nandos over the country. I was in bedford and dropped in here two nights on the go. Tbh the food on the first night was good but not the best in visits. The corn was a little cold. Service was good though. I visited the next night with two other people and everything was fantastic. On my travels I've found even if something is not to my liking at nandos it doesn't stop me going. I think its one of the best food restaurants in the high street. Good clean food , as a rule, nice friendly staff, good atmosphere, you normally get a table without too much if a wait. That speaks for itself .. if they are busy its because they are good. I gave 4 stars because i look forward to the corn on the cob and i like it hot off the grill. And i gave 4 stars for general as there is no parking( around bedford). I managed to park behind the hotel behind nandos ( pay and display)

Limited menu, taste wasnt the usual nandos standard, just a sprinkle of peri salt.

It was dimly lit and lacked atmosphere although that may be down to the day and time of visit, (Wednesday, around 4pm). Ordering online is very efficient but the food was average.

I strongly advise you don’t waste your time going to Nando’s in Bedford. We waited 1hr 10 minutes for our food when then arrived dry as if it had been sitting waiting for the butterfly ( which is basically what the manager explained). The tables around us were all served before us. The manager gave us free drinks due to the wait. When we expressed to him the service was terrible. He questioned us on this. Very unprofessional

You know what to expect with a nandos. The food is consistently good, from my experiences. Just a tad on the pricey side.

Went here on Sunday 13th Aug. I ordered quarter chicken medium with garlic bread and peri peri chips and a side of hallumi. My partner got a platter with rice and coleslaw . The food came out within good time the staff were friendly & polite. But they got our order wrong the spiciness of the chicken was wrong and we got a corn on the cob instead of garlic bread. No big deal as it was corrected swiftly and the staff were polite. Lovely venue right next to the river and the restaurant was clean. Would definitely go back.

First time in Nando's. Great welcome as we arrived. Would like to say a big thank you to Ross for his hospitality and kindness. Was staying at hotel next door but restaurant closed at 6pm. Decided on Nando's...so pleased we made this choice !! . Great food and service.

Recent work event brought us to the town centre, not knowing the area it looked like a suitable choice. It was a little busy but only a 10 minute wait, easy to order, good selection and not to much of a wait for your food once ordered. Tasty and a nice end to a busy day with friendly and helpful staff.

An expected Nandos experience in a great location opposite the Ouse River and right near town centre. Generally have seats available and never let us down on the food. They had no perinaise the last time round so had to make my own with Mayo and Chilli sauce. Note, there is no parking in the immediate vicinity if you want to collect a takeaway order or if you drive in to town.

Food is tasty, the ability to order from the app or web, by scanning a QR code is a plus, but the restaurant can be quite noisy at peak times. Prices have gone up as well.

Ordered for delivery and I got dry and unseasoned chicken livers. The chicken livers didn’t have any sauce they look boiled.Called Nando’s they didn’t help and called deliveroo and they put me on hold until it hung up on it’s own

I've been here a couple of times now. The food can be a bit hit or miss one occasion the food was fine and the other time everything was overdone. Service could have been a little better too. Other than that the location is great its near the embankment which is good.

Ordered online for collection. Food was ready within 15mins. Loved how the bag was packed in front of me which allowed me to know everything ordered was inside.

Giving credit where credits due. My first time in the bedford branch and the customer service was amazing. They went above and beyond and the food was just as lovely. Gutted I do not live close by to come more often but this is by far the best nandos I've been to ever.

Been coming here for years and yes there was a time few years ago before the lockdown when the quality of their chicken wasn’t as good.. but now, we have been visiting at least 4 times a month for almost a year.. I can safely say that 99% of the time everything is always spot on!

Typical Nandos - good to see it lives up to a Nandos in the food quality and the busyness. The staff are quite warm and nice. Tables are close to be tight and I kept bumping someone sitting behind me. I suppose that maximise the space .

Slow to deliver, bee seated nearly an hour before food was delivered. No one ever checked to see if we were OK until were leaving. Nandos in Luton 100% better.

Waited over 5 mins at the tills with at least 4 members of staff looking my way on and off, but none of them prepared to at least explain that someone might be with me shortly. On being served was told no bottomless drinks however cans were available. Coke Zero £1.65 a can and full fat coke £1.75 a can. The staff don’t appear to enjoy working here as none of them were anywhere close to a smile. Sadly like a lot of places these days customers are a hinderance rather than the very reason that they all have a job. Here’s hoping someone in management gets a grip of this place because it’s the restaurants name that would be the only reason to come here. Disappointed!!

Needed a good clean plates dirty

I’ve tried for nearly two hours to get hold of this restaurant via telephone. No answer 24 time to be precise. Called the delivery driver he’s the same,at least have a driver that speaks English.When questioned is the phone lines working staff member was like oh wasn’t on charge on a Saturday. USELESS.

Moved to the UK 2.5 years ago and finally managed to have dinner at Nandos last night. Don't know what took us so long! It was a little taste of of home 🇿🇦 so good!! Stand out for me was the great service from your lovely hostess, Chicka! She was amazing and really looked after us! Thank you Nandos! We will definitely be back soon!!

Mostly ok, server was friendly but didn't seem to bothered. One thing that put me off was the cutlery was filthy, I assume they are cleaned in a machine but they were not polished at all. Maybe for others this isn't a problem but for me it's off putting.

Comparing to any other Nando’s this one is the worst . Eating in bad - take away worse ! Never thought Nando’s can be this bad !

Mom ordered me something vegan we don't even know if it was vegan now I didn't eat it told the lady and she didn't want to ask for was plain for us came back with all the rubbish in it I just wanted it plain no sauce

Husband and I went in. This is our local Nandos. Been in quite a few times. Always good food. Sometimes there is a wait but generally good. Chicka today was the host. Never seen her before. Really friendly and gave excellent service.

Chika’s assistance was very helpful and it complimented the extravagant meal
