The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

Food is good but like most London restaurants the portion size has shrunk and prices have inflated. I've visited on numerous occasions over the years and always got value for money. It was never cheap but it was worth it then but sadly not anymore. 😞

Please tell your staff to respect the customers time and privacy. The food was too salty and when we told the waitress, she said they have received the same complaint before and she did not care and did not ask if we wanted a refund or any compensation. Very bad experience regarding food and customer care.

Great restaurant with small seasonal menu. Keeps you wanting to come back and try more as it varies. Will definitely be back. Nice atmosphere and vibe about the place.

Excellent Basque restaurant with a 1st class wine cellar and meat that is on another level. Great service and help from the moment we arrived. Recommend Sweet Breads, crab, peppers, iberian ham. Thank you, we will return.

Excellent parking SNAP. New toilets, separate parking for refs. There are sockets. I recommend Payment in the store at the entrance.

Had a 4:30pm reservation for 3 on Easter Monday. Our table wasn’t ready on arrival, we were told they had no roast dinners, no steaks left, the lamb dish was off and the service surrounding this was consistently amateur and poor. We ordered a lobster linguine to start and share. A cold, dirty bowl was placed on the table ready to transfer the linguine into from a pan so we had to stop and correct that as the waitress was unaware. The zucchini chips were cold. There was a significant wait for the main courses. We could see another table send back their food twice. We were offered free deserts to compensate but we didn’t want desert. We just wanted to leave. I want to like The Ivy restaurants and have dined in a few, sometimes out of choice and sometimes obligated for others but they are on the whole disappointing. This one was an especially bad £200 mistake.

Lovely staff, pleasant atmosphere located in the centre of Sherwood. They used to provide 2-3 choices of vegetarian soups which were really nice. Now they only French onion soup?
