The Ivy Canary Wharf in Tower Hamlets

Food and interior is lovely, but I feel like the service levels could be improved. I appreciate it is a very busy restaurant, but we oftentimes have to wait more than 30mins in-between courses, which is not enjoyable for me as by that point I am no longer hungry.

This is one of the nicer Ivy's. The food was good even if a bit overpriced for what it actually was.

This is the 4th Ivy we have dined at in London, and it is unfortunately the worst one we have tried so far. We did not receive our olives until we prompted our waiter, our mains were delivered before our starters were cleared, and the wine with our mains was not delivered until we queried it part way through the meal. The food was great, but the service unfortunately fell short of the mark.

Went here with some friends, food was good but the service seemed a bit lack luster in comparison to other Ivy's I've been to.

Really enjoyable visit to The Ivy. We only booked the day before but managed to secure a table for 4 people at 6pm (times were limited). It was really packed, but not too noisy ... tables far enough apart so that people don't end up shouting ... Lovely decor, really sumptuous. And the food was excellent. Definitely high-end for the cost. Wine and cocktails reasonable, given the nature of the restaurant. A real treat.

My first visit to an Ivy which was a real treat. Served by the lovely Bayhan, the service was excellent and attentive. I had the chicken milanese which was a huge portion. The Ivy Snowman was a delight and we did share the dessert. Definitely will come again.

The restaurant was spotless the waiter super nice but also the general manager Luca and assistant general manager Carla introduced themselves as I told them I work in hospitality too. Very smily and very friendly.

We hosted a lunch in the private dining room as a celebration & would highly recommend. The room was beautifully presented, with the Christmas decorations in place, for that extra detail. (We even bought the Ivy tree decorations as a memento!) The pre-event support made the organising effortless (for me anyway!) Grateful thanks for to Daniel, & also the team on the day, who made the event so special.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast for Sunday brunch. The meal was delicious, the service was pleasant and suitably attentative. I found the restaurant to be cozy, with moderate sound levels despite being full (which is good) with plenty of natural light. Considering the location, the price was reasonable.

I came here alone to try the food. I ordered the soy-glazed black cod and the Ivy snowman. I wouldnt recommend the black cod. The dish itself is alright, but i think it is overpriced for the portion and taste. The snowman, however, is amazing. Every element in the dish is delicious. I especially love the crunchy pearls added, and the different textures as I dive in to the brownie. My only small complaint is that the ice cream was really hard, almost like an ice cube. But that is understandable as they wanted to keep the structure of the snowman. Also a quick shoutout to Osman. He is very passionate about his job. I see him mentoring and coaching a junior, while providing great service to his customers. He is also incredibly polite and encouraging to his junior. I marvel at his positivity. I saw many plates of fish and chips being served and regretted not ordering that. I guess a good excuse for me to return!

it was the worst meal we’ve had, We were a table of 7 the service was terrible the Sunday Roast was not edible it was like a frozen dinner from Icelands not a good experience..

The resturant had a nice atmosphere was expecting something special was ok. My wife wanted fish and chips but asked for salad instead of mushy peas. The waiter said they would ask the chef. The salad that came was a slice of lettuce and a slice of tomato that was all I work in a 5star hotel and have a little knowledge of how things run .Unfortunately I didn't complain. Also when bring served our food the waitress leant over the table to serve instead of going to the other end of the table to serve. The ivy is now a brand and not what I expected.

Amazing customer service, Darryl was an absolute treasure. The food is stellar and overall eating here was such a lovely experience. The chicken skewers were so tender and packed with flavour. The flambé cherries were great both in terms of taste and aesthetic.

OMG, words can not express how impressed I was to dine in at The Ivy canary wharf. Food was delicious. Drinks were great and the dessert was absolutely mind-blowing. Excellent customer services provided by Darry.

Quite alright. But overpriced for what it is

My wife and I wanted a quick evening meal having arrived at the Abbey Wood Caravan Club site. Canary Wharf is easily and quickly accessed using the Elizabeth Line. We chose The Ivy after a recommendation from the staff at the Club caravan park. We chose the 2 dish (starter and main) 1917 set menu @ £19.17. Not a huge choice (3 starters, 4 mains). We added a portion of zucchini fries to keep us going until the starters arrived. They arrived reasonably quickly and were hot and crisp : nice. We took a salmon rillette with Rye bread, and a chicken skewer, for starters and shared them. Salmon rillette was good. The chicken skewers with peanut sauce was superb. We both had pan fried chicken breast for mains. Very good. 2 bottles each of pale ale. 13.5% service charge is a bit cheeky. The pale ales were too expensive for what they were. Ambience was nice and buzzy. I would go again. The food was a definite step up from the average.

Ivy in the Park with perfect Service, Athomsphere and delicious Food.

We grabbed breakfast at The Ivy in Canary Wharf, and it was such a cool spot. The place is full of greenery, almost like stepping into a tropical rainforest, but still with that classic British vibe. The decor is super vibrant and artsy—it really adds to the whole experience. I had the Eggs Benedict with hand-pulled ham, and it was spot on—the poached egg was perfectly soft, and the smoked ham had so much flavor. The hollandaise sauce pulled it all together. Their Ivy Breakfast, which is kind of their signature dish, was also super fresh and tasty. The service was really attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, The Ivy was such a great find, and I’ll definitely be going back!

Fantastic food. I already been there several times and the quality food is consistent. The service is not the best. Slow but amicable. The ivy app is very bad. Tried to book a table on two occasions and it is impossible so I ended doing it via google. The app rewards is a joke. I gave my card number to the waiters who attended us on two occasions and they wrote the number but don’t add it to the bill. It seems they are ignoring what the app offers to its clients and that makes you feel like being fooled.

Ivy Blew me out the Park Wow what a breakfast… prepare yourself it’s £17.95 - for what can only be deceived as an incredible breakfast experience from the gorgeous silver tea pots, to the cute copper bean pan this breakfast has been brilliantly designed. The Green juice was delicious 😋 and was topped with apple slices and mint… The breakfast itself was awesome 2 fried eggs a recommended by Fru, she was amazing behind the bar, really knowledgable and I enjoyed how she was so meticulous with her work wow! The pastries were also really delicious and lovely as something sweet at the end. I can’t really say anything negative! It was such amazing value if you haven’t been GO!

5⭐ in almost all rounds. With great ambiance & courteous staff from greeting to farewell salutations of the receptionist. We were looked after in the main by a lovely, polite and caring lady by the name of of "Chi". I was celebrating with my family of ten for my daughters wedding. No lift, a great disappointment 😭. Maybe we neglected to inform the staff upon booking of my disability and hence they may have seated our party upstairs, but upon existing the venue, I noticed the lack of space for a party of our size down stairs nevertheless. Too much adjustments would have to have been required for a wheelchair and a party of our size,{ loss of more space?}, but hey, I managed to struggle up there anyway....and boy was it worth it! Great ethos & decor in sage green, up holding the name. Clean good size cubicle & the conveniences itself too.The whole floor was easy for disabled access, even with my crutches. I walked around a few times to loosen my legs & have s look too😂. See if you can implement a disabled/platform lift.

Very nice place in a modern and clean neighborhood. Having enjoyed my time at The Ivy in Chelsea I returned to the chain, this time for dinner. Unfortunately it didn't go as in the past: the food was average but extremely expensive. The waiters were very insistent and came by every 5 minutes to refill our glasses: the result was that we were almost out of drinks before the dishes arrived. Furthermore, the bottle of wine had a higher cost than the one communicated by the waitress. I don't think we will be back.

We were sitting for 10+ min and i looked the bald white men 2 times before he came and helped us. Did not even greet properly “how are you”. Overall the food was great.

Absolutely yes, I loved this place. The steak was so juicy, staff were amazing and the place was great. I got extremely good service and even though I felt the food was a-bit too salty for me they insisted on making me a new one and was surprised how kind they were about waving off the change for the steak. Honestly would have paid more. Definitely going back!! Sahiya

Food is great as is the whole aesthetic of the restaurant. The staff in any Ivy are miserable. They don't smile and they are not welcoming, good job the food is good.

Came here for the Eggs Royale with smoked salmon, and the peach tea. Service was a bit lacking as no one came to ask how the food was during the meal, especially there weren't many diners in an early morning.

Came here for a meal on a Saturday evening. The menu had a good variety of dishes to choose from and everything was prepared and cooked perfectly. My daughter said that the lobster linguine is now her favourite dish, and she is usually the harsher critic out of all of us. The deserts also didn't dissapoint and it was nice to have a good variety of dairy alternative milk available for our coffees. The staff member who looked after us was very attentive and always made sure to check if we needed anything . Both, the service and the food exceeded my expectations.

We went as a family for a special occasion. There was some problems with the order as they brought the food out separately and some of it went cold waiting. However the manager handled it excellently, food was replaced without question and even gave us champagne on the house. Food was good. Great table and view in the garden section. I would highly recommend a visit. We'll definitely be back

I recently visited The Ivy in Canary Wharf with a few friends and, unfortunately, we noticed a mouse moving around the restaurant. While I understand that these situations can sometimes be difficult to control, it was quite surprising to see in an establishment known for its high standards. When we informed the staff, they seemed taken aback, but it appeared that this issue had been ongoing. I hope management takes prompt action to address this matter, as it would greatly improve the experience for future diners. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our visit.

I am food lover, so i am eating different type of cuisine. I would like to eat as breakfast such as scumble eggs, toast, and so on. As well as vegan burger,creamy spinach with rice etc. Last but not least food was amazing.

Do not under any circumstances waste your time booking private dinning at Ivy in the park. The event manager Ryan is absolutely ridiculous and lives out of his head. For a minimum spend of £1500 plus 13.5% service charge. This restaurant's events team does not care about tailoring your event to your specifications and needs but rather ensure you follow their program which is ridiculous as you are not attending an Ivy in the park event, you are attending your own event. It is appalling that you are willing to remove the dessert option and reduce the menu by £5 when you cannot purchase anything in the ivy for £5. Do you think people get their money off the ground or they are stupid to fall for your ridiculous tactics? If I am spending that amount of money I would like to have a say in what my event turns out like rather than following your instructions and rules which is very controlling and only in favour of the restaurant and not the customer who is spending the money. You need to do better as this is absolutely ridiculous and you need to learn to please the customer and not your pocket. Horrible Horrible events team, do not waste your time!

Didn't have booking so to get table for 5 was great. Very lively. Top end of price

The food was good but the service was okay. I won't recommend anyone for any special events especially birthdays. Took my mother for her birthday put in a special request for a cake they didn't provide one and my mom was disappointed. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone they don't seem to care about customer's satisfaction.

Were sat upstairs. Service was really slow this time. Few things were missing, had to chase these. Food took ages to come out, which a bit of let done too. Waiting at least 20 minutes for our main. New special mushroom linguine, was lacking flavours and not truffle taste at all. Chicken melainese was very dry. Starters although no complaints there . I’m a big fan of this location, came a lot of times before, this unfortunately didn’t came to the standard Ivy service I would expect.

An English restaurant in the true sense!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ivy Canary Wharf in London, and it was an exceptional experience. The food and service were top-notch. Our server, Osman, was particularly impressive with his expertise and recommendations. I highly recommend trying their classic Shepherd's Pie and Chicken Milanese. Both dishes were outstanding. If you're looking for a great dining experience in London, Ivy Canary Wharf is a must-visit.

We were sat in a corner bench unit with a round table that didn’t work very well. The onion soup was a victim of chef trying too hard to add his signature. It was presented with an almost impenetrable crust of bread and cheese and other unidentifiable ingredients that meant that the small amount of unremarkable soup beneath the dense crust got plopped out of the taurine pot onto the table when I finally managed to flip it out. I had the shepherds pie for mains; it was presented in a radial steak tata middle of plate style rather than in it’s own pot which jarred the senses; however it’s lack of carrots and under seasoning was it’s ultimate downfall. My friend had the roasted guinea fowl balotine. The bacon wrap seemed more like a tough skin that in any event was not edible. It gave her diarrhoea and vomiting that night. I would like to say that the two painfully introvert waiters made up for everything but that would not be true.

Very busy restaurant buzzing with diners

The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely excellent. Place was picked randomly and I will definitely go back! We were greeted by two very friendly ladies at the front where they offer to hold our bag and coat and seated very fast. The menu was filled with many delicious options. Our meal came real quick and our waiter was very nice. The place was super clean and has a classic British charm that one who wants local cuisine is looking for. They’re very conveniently located 3 min walk from the Canary Wharf station on the Elizabeth Line.

Delicious food and great service in a lovely environment.

Basically, we are not being rude but surely To work in an industry surely the waiter should know the basic's, ie The Menu what is on the menu firstly we ordered a frozen cocktail, the waiter didn't speak English and pointed to the one I had asked for to confirm . Secondly my husband ordered fish & chips clearly these were of a frozen range and not the standard you would expect of this establishment, I ordered roast beef, where as the roast potatoes again were not roasted, & went mashy when the gravy was poured on, at least 3 occasions, we requested horseradish, the waiter again didn't understand, we asked several people for the condiment only to be told it's on its way guess what no horseradish arrived. Hence my dinner got cold and I failed to eat the soggy potatoes and bland beef. I also ordered a glass of whispering angel wine which turned up 10 mins later during the meal. I went to use the facilities which were disgusting, dirty hence I didn't use. It's of no fault the waiter couldn't give us the service he had no understanding it's the management that fail to provide service one would expect. Won't be returning disaster Party

Sadly the experience did not live up to the brand. Food was poorly executed. Chicken served pink. Accompanying sauces delivered 5 minutes after dishes arrived almost as an after thought. Lack of refinement in the service. Waiters friendly but seemed very over stretched. Service very slow.

Everything was perfect, one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Frozen Aperol, chicken salad and chocolate bomb were beyond delicious. Me and my husband celebrated our 10th anniversary and they gave us an amazing dessert to share. Service was on point, very attentive and kind. Will return again and highly recommend to everyone.

Was there last night and the whole experience was amazing: delicious food, wonderfully presented, and an intimate atmosphere with soft lights and super professional waiters. One in particular, Erdal, was both discreet and friendly - he gave us nice tips on the menu and managed to make our evening even more special!

Amazing experience given by Rahman & Jack (our waiter and bartender). Rahman is attentive and sweet, looked after us so well! And Jack is super friendly and charismatic! Gave us signature drinks, just by conversing with us he already figured out what we like! This place made us feel special and welcomed. No need to talk about the food; very filling! Definitely recommended!

I dined at The Ivy Canary Wharf today and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by both the staff and the manager. Unfortunately, our meal was disrupted by an unpleasant encounter with a racist who was swearing to my father (who is 75 years old), due to his slowness in walking up the stairs and his response. The situation was deeply distressing, but the way the restaurant handled it was nothing short of outstanding. The staff immediately recognised that something was wrong and quickly brought the matter to the manager's attention. Within minutes, the Canary Wharf security team was on-site, thanks to the prompt action taken by the restaurant. The staff and manager did everything they could to minimise the impact of the incident on our experience, going above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and supported. What has also surprised me was the manager’s incredible gesture of putting our entire meal on the house. Despite my insistence that I should cover the bill, the manager insisted that they wanted to make up for the unfortunate experience. This act of kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on me and my family. I cannot speak highly enough of The Ivy Canary Wharf’s commitment to customer care and their swift, compassionate handling of a difficult situation. It’s clear that they prioritise their guests' well-being and go out of their way to ensure everyone has a positive experience, no matter the circumstances. I highly recommend this restaurant, not just for its delicious food but for the outstanding service that truly sets it apart.

The food was great but what really made it was the effort all female front of house team and maitre de made in getting us a rooftop table to watch our friend run in the big screen. Our waitress Brigitte was fantastic

I like the Ivy, but recently prices are up and portions are way down. For example our guest was just served this steak costing £28.95 with no sauce and no veg except a few leaves for decoration.

We ordered brunch at the Ivy and the service was great. We enjoyed the crème brule, however I found the muffin too buttery, chips were ok. They had one vege option which we went for. I think the Ivy is better when it comes to a normal lunch and dinner

We had an enjoyable family meal at The Ivy in Canary Wharf this evening. We were served by a lovely lady called Tyra who was extremely pleasant and friendly and had a lovely smile the entire time we were there which really made the evening. Food was delicious and atmosphere was lively. We will be back again.

We were here to celebrate 2 birthdays. We booked a table in the garden and informed them about the occasion. We were called a day before to confirm the occasion once more. When we arrived, we received an indoor table and were told the restaurant is full and they had reserved that table for us. We got over it and sat down inside even though we booked an outdoor table. Fish and chips were worse than any place we've been too. The batter was uncooked and the fish tasted frozen. We also ordered 2 chicken milanese without the eggs. The person who took our ordered double checked to make sure she wrote the order down correctly. They didn't respect that request either. To be honest, in retrospect, the eggs were the best part of the chicken milanese. At the end, there was no dessert coming out as requested to celebrate the 2 birthdays. We left completely disappointed and we will not be returning.

We sat outside on the park which was exquisite. We have had drinks in the park before but looking into the park was special. We ate steak Tartar and a great salad plus two burgers with fries. Everything was cooked to perfection and the severs took care of us. We were there for lunch but will be coming back for dinner as it seems like a great spot.

Lovely brasserie. Good food and very plush surroundings. Staff treat you well but prefer people in expensive clothes.
