Stuff are very welcoming, Rips & chops are must try, baklava and konafa for dessert are to die for, the welcoming bread and sauces are enough for me to come back again.

Il Ruyam (e non Efes come qui su TripAdvisor) è un ristorante turco, dall’arredamento tipico situato nella prima periferia londinese, poco più di un chilometro in linea d’aria del centro economico di Canada Square. Per gli standard italiani, questo è letteralmente un kebabbaro un po’ più elegante, pertanto sappiate che, tra qualità e quantità la seconda è prioritaria.

We had a mid afternoon meal here, sharing the Mix Meze - Hummouse, cacik, saksuka, Russian salad, and patlican ezme. Each bite was tastier than the previous one. The service was attentive and professional.

I had diner there with my Mum. The service is terrible as if we were bothering them. The area seems like a canteen so no charm at all and very noisy. The food is expensive for the quality (every meal starts at 12 pounds) and poor choice for the sides.

When me and my friend went in, with our pushcairs no one helped us with the door they just stared, then finding space for us to sit with our pushchairs nearby its very tight space in there whilst one waitress recommended sitting here another interrupted and said no there. We felt like a burden they way they spoke to us, fet very uncomfortable and the serive was very bad not a single smile or friendly attitude with the woman who served us. Enjoyed the food very delicious, arrived quicker than usual but they need to fixup the customer service. When i go restaurant i feel the service is just as important as the quality/taste of food, if not more. So very disappointed with that.

Totally consistent and excellent quality, value and service. They still give you salad bread and dips free. We supplemented them with one humous between 3. mains were lamb and chicken. The lamb and chicken kebab meal was delightful and full of flavour. The house red wine Yakut as palatable as ever. The Turkish rice pudding out of this world. We had 2 between 3.

Food was very tasty and fresh with lots of selections, even in the late evening. A wonderful fragrant aroma welcomes you as soon as you walk through the doors. Once we sat down, we were served house salad and bread with accompanying yogurt and spicy dipping sauces. I never usually eat house bread but theirs was really good. And with both dipping sauces, it was even more tasty. Service was no nonsense, slightly abrupt but very efficient. I didn't mind the no-smiles service at that moment, but this is also the reason my review only gave them 4 stars instead of 5. In my opinion, the 5 stars should represent not only efficient, but friendly service. Don't have to be overly friendly, but just enough to make me feel welcome and appreciated. Otherwise, food was great and very affordable. I suggest going as a group to try different things, but you can easily go solo and go more often. Will definitely go back.

We decided to try the Turkish fayre after a long day at work. We were served straight away with bread and salad. As we were looking forward to the meal we held back nibbling on the bread. The choice for vegetarians was very limited. You can order a falafel/houmous wrap or Turkish Pizza. I was hoping for something substantial instead of snack type food.

Revisited the best Turkish restaurant in London, never ever dissapointed, their special salad is to die for, fabulous hummus, freshly baked bread, MUST IS THEIR ADANA KEBAB, perfectly grilled. One of my all time favourite restaurant world wide.

Don't expect silver service here, but the staff are friendly and you get served quite fast. It gets very busy, so don't expect to get a perfect table either. However, you do get great food. The different kebabs are really tasty and I personally love the Adana kebab and the mixed dish of chicken Shish, Adana and Lamb Shish. You also get a generous helping of refreshing sales. They also have their own brand of Efes beer which is interesting. Definitely one of the best eating places in the area.

After a hard day exploring south Essex, friends and I made our way home through London City. We were heading for Brick Lane but came upon Efes on the way. What a wonderfully fortuitous moment, it was excellent, tasty, faultless, yummy and not expensive. We had the set menu for 5, only £62. Try their Turkish wine,Yakut, very drinkable.

The good point the food is quite good unfortunately the service was a abysmal my partner said all the staff are new maybe that’s why it took several attempts to have water and sauces to our table,the staff seemed undertrained and over run.A friend bought a bottle of wine and was told there would be charge of £3.50 per person to drink from the bottle that made it more expensive than the cost of the whole bottle itself.

Came here because of the other reviews. The Hummus has cream in it and only a few starters available. Our falafel wrap took ages to come, and still had Hummus in it, so we left the restaurant having not eaten. The meat eaters with us enjoyed their large portions.

What a busy restaurant for take away and sitting in, can see why as the food we had was really tasty, service friendly and prompt. If you're in Whitechapel I'd highly recommend eating here. Excellent value for money too.

We had dinner at Efes Turkish Restaurant and it was delicious. We got a family platter that feed 4 adults and 2 children and we still had some leftovers. The fire grilled meats were top of the line. The whole dinner was perfect!!!

You know that restaurant where the menu shows a whole roast hog and you get served a single slice of bacon. This is not that place, for one thing it's halal, for another the portions, sides etc. are huge. Huge I tell you. The photo attached is what was left after I ate myself full.

A visit to Efes is a treat, whether for a meal or a takeaway the food is superb. The staff are warm, welcoming and ready to advise on the menu. The bread and salad arrive quickly once seated. If you’re in east London and looking for a place to go for a light lunch or something more formal then look no further than Efes. The Turkish tea and coffee yes yes yes....

We had a nice time there, with good food and a kind staff. There kebab is not perfect but it is good.

We were staying across the street so we stopped in for take out. The restaurant is clean and cheerful. The staff are friendly. We loved the hummus. The chicken kabob and vegetable kabob were also delicious. The portions are generous so we could share. It is a local place and not touristy at all.

We had the set menu. For just under £10 each we had the most amazing food. The lentil soup was beautiful and the chicken was to die for. This place is spotlessly clean. Our waitress blonde was lovely. Will def be returning here!

Went here with some colleagues from work and had a tasty and delicious meal. I had chicken shish with a strawberry mojito mocktail which was delicious. The food was reasonably priced£13.50 for the chicken shish and £4.95 for the mocktail - reasonable but not cheap. Waiting staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

Fue pasando la noche y decidimos probar ya que parecía ser popular. Una agradable ensalada, salsas y pan caliente turco parecía que eran excelentes, entonces pedimos calamares y cordero donner. Calamares llegamos, preparado bien y luego el cordero llegó. Para algunos puede ser extraño tener el plato poner aún comiendo el arranque pero no me molesta. El cordero era un poco grasiento, pero no es más el cordero? No disfrutar de mi comida y la experiencia y volvería de nuevo. Sólo pagamos 18 libras por lo que parecía una enorme cantidad de comida sabrosa! Un toque agradable fueron las delicias turcas y pasteles turcos que eran similares a la pequeña pero mucho más ligeros, donuts y empapado en un jarabe dulce que nos dieron con la factura. Eran tan bonitas, la camarera muy amable me dio otras dos!

Servicio no era muy bueno para las bebidas ya que tuvimos que pedir que la señora muchas veces para la bebida que pedimos y finalmente llevado a la mesa después de 20 minutos. Sin embargo, pedimos cócteles sin alcohol que no tenían ninguna. Aparte de eso, es un lugar encantador en general para comer la comida es genial, el servicio de bebidas era pobre. ambiente accogliente, personale molto gentile e sollecito, anche nei momenti di punta. ci siamo trovati completamente a nostro agio. il cibo è fresco, gustoso, preparato al momento. ci siamo capitati per caso, ma poi ci siamo tornati più volte di proposito nei giorni che stavamo nella city. abbiamo così potuto gustare molte e diverse proposte, e ci siamo trovati sempre bene. la cucina è veramente turca, come quella che avevamo conosciuto ad Istambul qualche anno fa. infine, e questo non guasta, i prezzi sono contenuti. Speriamo che Efes possa aprire presto un ristorante in Italia, lo abbiamo detto anche ai gestori.

We ate at Efe's in mid-February and enjoyed it immensely! The wait staff was friendly, efficient, and answered all of our questions since this was out first experience with Turkish food. We ordered a grilled vegetable plate and a mixed Doner. The mixed Doner came with chicken and lamb meat and served with rice. The prices are very moderate and the portions are huge. My wife and I could have easily split one of our two dishes.

We’ve just finished a great meal at this atmospheric restaurant. It ha a good vibe as a meeting place for people from all over. The complementary started was fresh and the spucy harissa sauce hit the spot. My friend had the chicken kebabs and he thoroughly enjoyed them. I decided on a spinach and egg pizza. It emwas extremely light and fresh. We will most definately visit again.

This is the cleanest Turkish restaurant in london in my standard. We went to BMI hospital and we went here for lunch and we were not disappointed. The salad that was served before the meal was delicious and fresh. We tried the mixed doner and it was the best I’ve ever tasted. The whole surroundings were tidy especially the toilet was immaculately clean. It’s the most tidiest Turkish restaurant I’ve ever been in london.

Comido aquí antes y como siempre la comida fue excelente. Te dan una ensalada maravillosa y mientras estás estudiando breadn su menú completo. Tuvimos algunos hummous para comenzar y luego mezcladas kebabs seguido por su maravillosa de arroz. La casa roja fue muy apetecible.
