Great location near the Tower of London and for outside dining on the docks. We ordered burgers as well as salads and they were good.

Just a tourist trap. Nothing much to say. Drinks are ok, but good wasn't fresh. I do not recommend it if you work around...

sat out on the terrace over looking the river on a lovely sunny evening with my wife ordered my food, but the only trouble was you are not allowed to have a tab out side, but surely if they take your card swipe it or even keep it behide the bar you can pay at the end, to be fair this is not the only pub that does it, so you have to pay for food or drinks as you go along, hay ho apart from that staff was polite, food was lovely & quick. nice surrounding, atmosphire was good, view was nice, second time there now since refurb, you have a lower terrace as well right by the river so not to good if you have young children, you will be keeping a eye on them maybe instead of enjoying your meal, but over all yes a nice place to go, in side was clean as well, plenty of windows so you can look at the views in colder weather, so my advice give it ago menu was of good price don't exspect gourmet food for theses prices but what you get is nice, i will be going back.

Came here for a birthday celebration. The food was ok but nothing more, and expensive for what it was. Atmosphere was fine and the setting quite rustic. On the plus side the staff were exceptionally pleasant.

Stumbled upon this cute looking cafe near the docks. Ignored by staff then given a mere grunt when asking for my order. Didn't look up from the till to hand me my change, simply put his hand out while moving on to the next thing. Would have had a more pleasant experience being served by a computer!Hot drinks couldn't have been made with less care and were of a luke warm temperature.Absolutely unimpressed!

I brought my parents here for coffee and a cake one afternoon. My decision was based on the trip advisor rating for cafes in St Katharine's docks. I live locally but never frequent the cafes around the docks. It was fine, but nothing special. The greeting and service was ok. The coffee was nice, but the selection of cakes was disappointing. Rightly or wrongly I had expected homemade and these definitely were not. We went for crepes instead and these were nice apart from the squirty cream which was applied. Was it too much to expect real cream?? It was also fairly drafty in there. I'd expect a cafe to be cosy, especially on a cold February day. Anyway, like I say, it was fine, but I expected more, especially based on the great reviews it's had. Fortunately, I discovered a much nicer cafe the following day just a few doors. We'll be going there in future.

We went to see the poppies at the Tower of London today and following some reviews decided to visit this cafe. Now, I know today was a busy day given that the poppies will not be there for much longer but having to wait 20 minutes to order two pieces of quiche and two coffees, balance the coffees back in cardboard cartons on saucers over cobbles, sit outside watching litter drift pass on the wind to them sample microwaved quiches and a salad of kale or some such cattle fodder with a token piece of sun dried tomatoes and very salty olives was not my idea of a nice lunch. What is wrong with places in Britain having waiters to bring your food and drink to your table as they do on the continent ?

Selection of lovely, homemade, deep-filled quiches served with salad and particularly good olives and sun-dried tomatoes. We enjoyed good coffee and cakes too. An attractive cafe in a pretty setting. Inexpensive, which was refreshing for London.

This is probably one of the better restaurants in St. Katherine's Dock (notwithstanding the very expensive ones that we didn't check out). Peaceful, quaint, family run, home made dishes. My wife and I each had a quiche which was wonderful. We didn't think too much St. Katherine's Dock as a tourist site, but our apartment was nearby so we ventured over looking for a place to eat.

We stumbled upon this little deli / cafe while walking around the very picturesque St Katherines Dock and loved it so much we went back again for lunch a few days later. Want fantastic, simple fayre served with love? They've nailed it. Fantastic friendly staff, fantastic value, fantastic outlook, in fact everything about the boat house was just fantastic. The lunch time special (2 deli items, either meat or cheeses), chutneys and help-yourself breads, plus a glass of very nice wine or a beer for 10 quid was huge, plenty to satisfy my always-hungry companion. I really hope this business flourishes, it's a foodies haven in busy London.

Probably, the best restaurant that I've been in London. The atmosphere is unique! You can take a great bowl of soup (the one with tomatoes and onions is great!) and a great variety of breads looking to the St. Catherine Docks! And the staff couldn't be more friendly! And for the very best end: their prices are VERY fair! This place is a MUST GO in London! I'm 100% sure that the next time, when I'm in London, I will go there again!PS: And the also works like a grocery store! A lot of interesting things to buy inside there!

Go here.... like a lot. In fact go there now and take some friends with you. As many times as you can scrabble your way down to St Katherines Docks the better this place is sooo good.So it's basically a cafe that you can also buy independent sellers produce from too and all of it looks good, I am doggedly working my way through all of their offerings with a commitment and determination that may be borderline obsessive. If you know St Katherine Docks you know the location is good already, but even better than that is the far end of the Docks that tourists rarely seem to venture into - hooray! If you go there for a coffee then you will probably leave having 'accidentally' eaten your body weight in bread / pastry / cake as it all looks and tastes so good. One of thew best things about this place is the atmosphere, it's so chilled out it's horizontal, the staff are good and know what they are talking about when you ask them about what they are selling. Much to my surprise the first time I visited this place I ordered a coffee and a bread stick, the guy serving me (turns out he is the owner) told me to grab whatever I wanted and take a seat, he'd bring the coffee over - it's relaxed, he basically guessed what to charge us and chatted away giving us recommendations and trying some samples of the products. A pretty rare environment in central London.Go here. Eat carbs. Enjoy.

I'm struggling to think how I could top the experience of getting some food from the Boat House at St Katherine's Dock. Not only was the quality of the food extremely high (carefully sourced from artisan bakers, butchers, and various mongers and merchants) but the location was just beautiful. Surrounded by tinkling water and a plethora of pretty boats and cobbled streets. Pretty as it was it was still in a busy and easily accessible part of London and somehow, possibly through magic, managed to remain quiet and tranquil. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the produce, they cared about what they were doing and they cared about me as a customer. The shop, a kind of cafe/deli, was well laid out, attractively decorated and bountifully stocked and it was a struggle not to gorge myself on too many items, especially when it was so reasonably priced. It all felt perfect, as though I was in a musical and everyone was about to bust into song and the food and coffee was going to dance into my mouth.

I am rather glad that this gem has not blown up on Tiktok and therefore the atmosphere is delightful! I visited to celebrate a friend's birthday, table for two and the staff was sweet, friendly and most importantly attentive. They even served us with a slice of cake at the end! A pleasant surprise. The food is good but nothing special, I wouldn’t go here for a date but the atmosphere is suitable for a group of friends I could imagine as it’s almost a sort of diner vibe. Also be warned that you’re expected to order on an app as some people aren’t a fan of that.
