I got poisoned by Lahmacun, never go there again!

They have a great food..been here during their breakfast hour and dinner time..And the food was amazing..lovely crew and service..Surely we will be back again

the prices are not bad for London and the food tastes incredibly good but the service was really bad. we are Turkish, the waiters are Turkish but the communication was zero. we speak the same language but when we thank them they don't even say you're welcome. i know they work very busy hours but we expect a smile. i won't go into the packaging anyway, when we couldn't finish and wanted to have it packed at home, they left 3 cardboard boxes and a bag on the table. we thought it was special for us but it wasn't. it shouldn't be so hard to take the food to a separate place and pack it. i don't know how a place with such good food can have such bad service... except chicken wings

It was my son's birthday that day, and we decided to take the opportunity to have breakfast at a place we had been recommended to visit. We’re a middle-class family just getting by, and we don’t often have the chance to spend time and money dining out. This made the day even more special for us.Our main focus was celebrating my son's birthday rather than the dining experience itself, so it wouldn’t have mattered much if we had chosen a different venue. However, the experience at this place turned out to be memorable in several ways. The first challenge was finding parking. The establishment doesn’t have its own parking lot, which I believe is a significant oversight for a venue of this size and reputation. Customers are left to find parking nearby, which can be frustrating. I eventually managed to park on the roadside, but it came with its own complications. I had to book and pay for two hours of parking, which cost about £6. The process of making the payment was cumbersome since it required a phone call to register and pay for the service. It took up unnecessary time and added stress to the start of our visit. While this isn’t directly the restaurant’s fault, having dedicated parking would have made the experience much smoother. Once we got the parking sorted and stepped inside, the first impression was positive. The place is spacious, with a large seating area, ample room for food preparation, and a bar. The table we were seated at was generously sized, allowing all five of us to sit comfortably without feeling cramped. When we looked at the menu, I found it to be on the pricey side, especially for a family like ours. I’ve never hesitated to acknowledge what I can and cannot afford, and while I felt the prices were high, we were willing to splurge a little for this special occasion. We ordered food for two kids and three adults. For the adults, we decided to share a Mediterranean/Turkish breakfast, while the kids had an omelette and egg with chips. One thing I particularly appreciated was that the tea was served in a pot rather than cups, which made the experience feel more traditional and enjoyable. The fresh pide bread that came with the breakfast was exceptional—it was so delicious that it could be eaten on its own without needing any accompaniments. The breakfast platter itself was rich in variety, offering plenty of choices. However, I’m torn on whether it was worth the price. On one hand, the variety and quality were good; on the other, it didn’t quite feel like it justified the cost. One standout recommendation was the fried eggplant, which we had been told to try before our visit. It marinated with unique spices that made it incredibly flavorful. I would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t have an aversion to eggplants. The restaurant offers a wide range of options, from breakfast to dinner, with an emphasis on Turkish cuisine. This variety makes it a versatile place to visit, whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast or a traditional Turkish dinner. While the food and service were enjoyable, the condition of the venue left much to be desired. The place seems quite old and worn out, with visible signs of wear and tear from the ceiling to the floors and walls. Even the toilets, despite their overly ornate decor, were clearly outdated and in need of refurbishment. A thorough redecoration and modernization could significantly improve the overall experience and help the establishment reach its full potential. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed our visit and wouldn’t hesitate to return, especially for a special occasion. While it wasn’t the most affordable option for us, the experience felt worthwhile. The food was satisfying, with unique highlights like the fried eggplant, and the spacious seating made it a comfortable place to dine. However, there is room for improvement, particularly in terms of the venue’s upkeep and parking arrangements. With some upgrades and attention to detail, this place could become an even more appealing destination for families and casual diners alike.

Tasty fresh food which was cooked very well. Good quick service.

The food? Oh, it was pure magic on a plate! The flavours danced together like a perfectly choreographed performance, and the variety was simply astounding. The fresh salads were crisp and vibrant, the grills smoky and tender, and the pasta? Utterly divine – like a warm hug in every bite. The vegan/vegetarian food was superb with flavours that awoke the memories of culture and love . The fish was a great dish that was so tasty that there was hunger for more. The only tiny hiccup was parking – you’ll want to park nearby because once you’ve indulged, you’ll be wonderfully full and dreaming of your next visit. The dishes are so moreish you’ll be planning your return before you’ve even left. This place is an absolute delight, the kind of spot you could happily return to every day.

Absolute horrid customer service. Called for a pickup and when I arrived they said that the order was never placed. A huge waste of time. When I eventually ordered after having being accused of lying by the staff, it was oily and nasty. Would NOT recommend. Foul business practices. Watch a YouTube video on customer services please.

The food is always excellent and good value

We was on our way to a ceremony and dropped by for a quick meal. But there was a massive cockroach in the salad served to us and it was nasty. Before that I ate the breaded prawns which are delicious though. Staff were quick to handle the situation

Amazing atmosphere and delicious food

Fantastic service and food. The lamb chops and spare ribs combo is excellent value for money and something that you don't see offered everywhere. Delicious rice, salad and bread. Wife had the vegetable kebab and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely return.

The first time there, I was quite impressed with the efficiency and speed of service. Being a Saturday, it was very busy. Food was nice and plenty...

I've been with my friend, we ordered seabass and king prawn as a dish, we got seabass then after 10 min, i asked the waitress who took our order about prawn, he is seems like doesn't know anything about the order, after he checked it then he bring it, without apologising or anything, whenever we asked him, we have to repeat it to him few times, apart from that, food was not bad, it was much better about few years ago. Prawn was cold, seabass was not bad.

So yum! Had this last August, but I forgot to review. Fed 3 adults and 2 under 5 Yr old. Even had left for an additional persion (took home). Gave lots of complimentary mezze. HALAL!

Good food but pretty annoying that anytime a cake came out for a birthday party (it happened 8 times) they would play really loud annoying music. Arrraaagh. If not for this they would have gotten 4 stars

I’ve no idea why people are not complaining and still going to these places. A lot, not all but a lot of people complain about the attitude of the staff in these places in particular the managers. They have no care for customer service and have the audacity to charge a service charge. & what the hell is it with the deafening loud cheesy music they play to celebrate customer birthday. Seriously who would want these greasy turds singing happy birthday so out of tune on your special day So the sucker for punishment I am, thought id try this place one more time. I arrived and needed a table for 5 they said yeh wait in those words, this turned me off but I bit my lip, then sat me down and took my order, brought over salad and that’s it.. waiting 15 mins for the bread to arrive and it hasn’t but I have seen other tables receive theirs. So I ask the manager and he said oh it’s on its way. The main food arrived before the bread and it was ok but for 80 quid platter pretty average portions and it was full of oil. So throughout the meal no one comes over to check if the food is ok. However, half way through the meal the bread arrives, freezing cold. So I finish the food and ask for the bill, yet no asking of how the food was or offer of Turkish tea which some places you get. So I get up and pay the bill, I tell the manager not the service charge, instead of asking why and is everything ok he just gives me a dirty look in disgust. I pay the bill he doesn’t even say thank you. I am sure people resonate with this review. This has happened to me many times in Capital Kebab or Kervan, they’re all the same very rude and arrogant like we don’t need your business. People need to stop eating at these places so they know how to value customers

It is a bit different than other classic Turkish restaurants , there is a well gourmet chef behind this secret taste , I am sure you will like it , price is average , atmosphere is OK, but taste is amazing 👏

Very nice food. But best to ask the waiters to wait to bring the main course until all the people have finished their starter. You do get a lot of food and very tasty.

The place is quite spacious and it was empty but we went mid-afternoon. The lamb and yogurt soup is ok but not great. The prices are way too high for the location. Almost comparable to central London prices and yet it's not in an expensive area. They charge £7 for houmous as a starter! That's extortionate! Think £16 or £17 for a small kebab. Way too high!

Estuvimos visitando este restaurante cada semana para nuestro desayuno familiar habitual, pero no más Cambian mucho la comida ya no es sabrosa opción son más menos ahora pero el precio se incrementan Estábamos recibiendo el desayuno más grande todo el tiempo, pero cada vez que íbamos, cortaban de servir una cosa, ¿cómo fue que el precio subió, pero servir menos comida cortó de cosas muy pequeñas, sirviendo platos, incluso no limpios más? La última vez encontré diferentes cosas en la placa de mermelada de queso vino como sobras de otros, si siguen así, perderán muchos clientes.

Its not the same as before, clearly management has changed. Waiters chatting around doing nothing and the service was appalling. Food was bland. If you want a traditional Turkish restaurant then go to green lanes. An albo trying to manage a Turkish restaurant is hilarious to me, the restaurants gone downhill.

Nice place and the food is good but the service is lacking of attention to detail. Lots of waiters doing different things trying to imitate a high quality restaurant but not knowing how to do it, they made two mistakes on our order due to lack of basic training.

I called them with phone to order a meal for 5 persons and I was on my way to collect it . Whose answer the phone was very rude and doesn’t understand English well .I told him I’m driving so I couldn’t hear you nicely, he shout and told me don’t call again then close the phone . I was really shocked and embarrassed because I tried again to call and explain I couldn’t hear the code number he said ,he did same thing and close without listening for customer maybe he wants to close because it was late and doesn’t like to make an order but that still unprofessional thing. It was really bad experience made me embarrassed with my guests

Have been to this place a number of times over the years and they've never disappointed. Always a welcoming and friendly experience from staff, food is always fresh and delicious. They've been able to accommodate groups of all sizes and service is efficient. All of the usual bells and whistles when it comes to this type of dining experience but always a well organised experience.

honestly extremely disappointed, I ordered chicken shish and it came cold, burnt and hard. Literally not edible or even chewable

birthday event and the guys were very accommodating. food was perfectly cooked. the warm bread was spot on and best of all the meat platter was perfect! my kids love this place

This restaurant is clean, tidy, comfortable, huge, modern, colourful, vibrant, sleek, bright and elegant which is great if you want to go somewhere where it is very nice place to be in with family and friends. The staff are friendly, organised, welcoming, respectful, professional, well mannered, sociable, supportive and understanding. The food is delicious, mouthwatering, flavourful, tasty, well portioned, meaty and have vegetables at the same time which is great Turkish pizza that reminds of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey’s food and how they make it in there when you buy it to eat. The price is £18.00 for food and drinks which is very affordable and cheap. Although I have not been there physically I did put order through my great friend called Mehmet Alkas and he bought it from there which I am thankful to him for buying it.

Good food, lots of sides and salad given on the house (to be honest these tasted even better than the food) staff are friendly and helpful, restaurant looks clean and nice. Everything great but I cant give 5 star as the manager I guess who was in the garden watching loud videos on his phone and blowing his smoke which was coming directly on me, wife and baby during our meal.. the guy smoked and watched videos for an hour non-stop while we ate (he didnt eat or drink anything). Who smokes for an hour non stop? Lol This is a fine detail but important at this price point and in the level you're aiming at

Always feel delighted with the simplicity of Turkish food from their brekky to full dinner with colourful salad and dips to takeaway. Contentment every visit, specially after their free Turkish tea and filo pastry dessert. Value for money.

I bought iskender and mixed appetizers, the meat of iskender was very bland, you chew it too much, it was too thick, it was not like a leaf, the meat was hard, I didn't like the tomato sauce, it had no taste. Normally, iskender comes with yoghurt everywhere, they poured all the meat and sauce on top of it, it was a mess while eating it,, mixed appetizer There are 6 different dishes, you can't choose what to order, the chef chooses what to order, look at the nonsense, they said soup and lahmacun, we said the soup should come first, they both came at the same time, we asked for a chip on top of it, it didn't come to the table, but they still charged us, they changed it, and the most ridiculous thing is that they charged us 15 pounds under the name of service charge. I mean, it's too many, the tables are very crowded, everyone sat very close to each other, I think this place is overrated, Diyarbakir restaurant gets here a thousand times, I won't go back again.

Food is always fresh and tasty here, one of our go-to places when we want turkish food. Starters are really nice and the lamb is always yummy. Service is always good and staff are friendly.

I am a regular customer but yesterday we had absolutely disappointed experience the ribs and champs were not cooked properly served in rush I will say only visit this place if they are not busy as if they are busy they will not just try to get read of you

This place was brilliant 3 years back! The food is ok but overpriced and the portions are really small, they use to be very generous before and use to serve the tea with desert. Now there was no dessert just tea. If you are going to add a service charge, you must tell your customers before they order their food. I won’t go there again.

The service has gone down and the prices have gone up so already not a great start. Food is decent and quite good but can't give it more than 3 stars as it's not worth the money you spend, and the service is comes with is awful. A simple anecdote, a member of our party brought his own water as he cannot have any other brand of water or tap water due to health reasons, and the waiter instead of going to put in our request to the kitchen started lecturing him about not being allowed to drink outside water(bearing in mind we were already spending over £100 on food). When we tried to explain he just refused to listen and said no you can't drink it and stormed off with a huff. This unfortunately was one of many unpleasant incidents in one outing. Our family used to love this place and we're loyal customers, but I definitely Do not recommend anymore.

Last visit for me. Service was not great. Bill was over £100 for 3 mains, 1 starter, and 2 teas. It is difficult to get staff attention to order drinks. The waiters seemed very preoccupied, considering that it wasn't particularly busy. The food is still good but personally I expect more for my money. Actually, I demand more. So, yeah, I won't be back.

The food, staff and the ambience were top notch. We chose this place randomly for our Anniversary but turned out to be a wholesome experience. Delicious food and very attentive and helpful staff who gave us an anniversary singalong with the cake at the end. Highly recommended!!

Every time you go, your table is ready and your brothers treat you like one of the family. It is the only restaurant in my life where I will be given this privilege.

It is the only address where you can have a unique experience where unexpected and unique mixtures of delicious meat and vegetables with different sauces and spices are blended with a wide variety of high-quality ingredients and a perfect presentation. A restaurant that smells of quality, experienced, friendly staff and hygiene.

It's a restaurant I've been coming to for many years. It is the best compared to the restaurants in its area. Both the service, portion size and sincerity of the staff are of a quality that you cannot find in other restaurants. They are in a much better position than many restaurants in terms of hygiene. The plates, glasses, forks and knives you use are sparkling clean. If you want to have a perfect experience with your family, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The waiters are very careful, clean and respectful. Meals are served immediately without keeping you waiting, and tea is served at the end of the meal. It is worth every penny you spend.

The perfect restaurant we stopped at during our trip to London. When we walked in to have breakfast with my family, we were greeted with warm love. When we were shown our place, we ordered breakfast for 3 people. The bread was soft, fresh and hot. Breakfast was served in two different groups: hot and cold. Honey molasses, yogurt, jam and cheese were chosen from the highest quality brands. In the hot section, the sausage, halloumi and spring rolls were not heavy or oily, and obviously the products that were kept waiting were not reheated and sent. Everything was served fresh and instant. The cheese borek served before breakfast was equally fresh and hot. If you want to experience this unique Turkish breakfast, this is the only address you can go to. Quality, clean and perfect presentation. Hardworking and attentive staff. Thanks everyone.

Disgraceful service I stood at the door for 10 mins so I could place an order worth a fair bit and nobody attended to me…they weren’t even busy!!!!! I ended up walking out and going down the street to Kervan who offered me such a great service and gave me tea whilst my order was getting prepared- just gone off this restaurant no more parties here anymore

Had the breakfast very expensive nothing tasted fresh. A lot came late and in bits and pieces. Sausages came fry like it was cooked way before and reheated. Cups looked dirty. Would not recommend especially for Turkish breakfast

My favourite Turkish restaurant used to be Gokyuzu. But it changed a lot, the food is not what it used to be. Top favourite Turkish restaurants for me is now Capital. The food is amazing, the service is really fast and the personal are highly professional and friendly. The restaurant is amazing inside and out ( as I am a smoker ). I just can't find one thing to not love going there. Highly recommend going there.
