Aksular in Enfield

We came for a dinner with 14 guests Service was really slow Drinks took forever to come you could understand if the restaurant was packed but was our party and 2 other small tables Food came out and multiple plates of food were cold and worst of all my chicken was not even cooked all the way through. When I complained the waiter said how do you want you chicken WELL DONE as if we could eat it rare Staff didn’t seem to care would not be coming back here and definitely do not recommend auto anyone else

Absolutely disappointed the service was awful we ordered a pint waited 10 min and then another one turned up ordered a mix for 2 people absolutely awful hardly enough for one person and the chicken wings with still bloody when I complained he said would you like them well done. I said I want them cooked so he took the plate and put everything on the grill the ribs and the lamb came out cremated. The worst Turkish restaurant in Enfield what Turkish restaurant server spaghetti bolognaise and burger’s all in all never again.

Have visited this restaurant many times and am never disappointed. The food is always excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. Particularly love the salad they bring at the beginning of the meal!

So arrived and the atmosphere is pleasant. The starters came out warm, the salad seemed old. Once, we had finished dinner we were presented with the desert menu and then proceeded to harass us several times, just to clear us off the table. We eventually told them we would call them when we are ready to order. Personally wouldn’t go there again

I ordered a meat Moussaka but was given a vegetarian Moussaka in which the staff apologised. The Lamacun was the best I ever tasted.

A bit pricey but excellent food.

The food was absolutely amazing, I can’t wait to take my girlfriend here for food. Good services too. Spacious settings and great atmosphere. Highly recommended

Overpriced, basic quality/tasting Turkish food, was not impressed, after revisiting following a few years. The ambience of the restaurant was ok, however found the staff pushy and not that friendly.

You would expect a Turkish restaurant in the town to be up to a good standard. However, to me the service is very appalling. Average food and expensive prices. Had us waiting unnecessarily long to give us wrong order and they had a hostile attitude when enquired. 1 star!

I ordered a pita, it was the worst pita I have ever eaten in my life, I could barely eat a piece and left. As for the fee, there is no service charge, I don't know if it is high, regardless of whether the customer is satisfied or not. Then I went and fed him well at a place I knew.

We had lovely fresh food and was impressed as always with great service. The menu has a massive choice of starters and mains.

The food quality is very good and service as well. I would have given 5* but there was no Chicken Doner and I went there to especificatly eat one. The waiter said that every day after 9pm the chicken doner is finished . So 1)Why they don't make more and 2) Why they don't let customers know? There were 6 of us, we booked in advance and the restaurant called us about 8pm to confirm if we were coming, couldn't they have warned us, given that this happens often?! The food there is amazing.

Initially when I first looked at the menu this could be pricey but then the portions were of a good size and the food was delicious. This was my first time here with my wife and the staff were very polite and we even got a free Turkish tea from ivan. Good value for money and would recommend this.

The flavors are a party in your mouth! Such a delightful experience.

Once again, an absolutely wonderful time at Askular. Amazing food, great atmosphere and staff that always go above and beyond to make your time there wonderful. We were there last night to celebrate two friends birthdays and I can safely say that the birthday girls had a wonderful time, mainly and thanks to the wonderful staff, and of course us - their friends. I go here regularly, with various friends and it’s always my restaurant of choice if anyone says shall we go out for a meal.

Visited Aksular Enfield Town with my family for breakfast. The service was excellent, and the food, especially my wife's soup, was truly amazing. A delightful experience overall!

Had a lovely time at Askular Enfield Town. They were very welcoming, warm and friendly. Some restaurants can make you feel like you're not a valued customer and it's like you're almost begging to eat there, but it wasn't like that here. Great staff makes all the difference. 👌🏾

Order and service was fast. Waiters were pleasant. Interior ambiance is good. However, quality of food was disappointing. My wife said that tiger prawns were over cooked and it is like a rubber. My lamb shish was difficult to cut and chew because of sinews and fat bits around so it was not nice. Couscous on the side did not taste fresh and I really know when its fresh. At the end of our dinner one of the waiters came to ask if we enjoyed and I told him about my lamb meat and he apologised. he also said he would let the chef know. We recieved a complimentary desert. However, we would not visit again. Main reason being the meat is important part of Turkish kebab and if the meat is not good forget the rest.

Great restaurant, food is well presented and tasty. I believe they give a discount to customers visiting the restaurant during the weekdays.

Great food, great service, really nice ambience - what more could you want

Always a fab all round service on each visit. Waiting staff are polite & attentive, food is great. No long waiting times, even on a weekend. It's recommended to book for weekends though as it does get busy.

Good service. Sadly my main (mixed kebab) everything tasted bland. Even the chips didn't taste of much. The chilli sauce was very watery. On a plus side the doner bao buns were really tasty.

Lovely atmosphere, food, cocktails and wine. Very accommodating, attentive professional staff. The food was plentiful with no long waiting around and well worth the price. We all had a wonderful night. Thank you!

Utterly Disappointing Visit I have been a regular patron for several years, but my latest visit was so dismal that it has completely changed my view of this establishment. The decline in quality and service was shocking and deeply disheartening. The most glaring issue was the wait time. It took an excruciating 45 minutes for our main courses to arrive, and when they did, the food was cold. This completely ruined what should have been a satisfying meal. Additionally, there was a mix-up with our order; the hummus, which we requested as a side to our mains, was served as a starter. By the time our main courses arrived, we had already finished the hummus. Speaking of the food, the quality of the meat has drastically deteriorated compared to last year. The texture and flavor were way off, making for an unpleasant eating experience. The service was equally disappointing. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, with only two tables occupied, the waiters seemed more interested in playing around with each other than attending to customers. No one checked on us to see if we needed anything or to inquire how our meal was. It saddens me to say that Aksular has become a joke of a restaurant. What used to be a go-to spot for me is now a place I will not be returning to. It's a shame to see such a decline in an establishment that I once held in high regard.

Had better!!was recommend by a foe who comes regularly who lives near by. Mini starter bread dips salad very nice especially the chilli dip. Main course a disaster 🙄 very small portion I had the lamb rack,couldn't understand why you would crisp the fat disgusting,glad I never payed for it. Would I return again?! I came with the foe on 12nov 2023.

Great food, staff very welcoming.

Not sure what has happened to the restaurant lately however each takeaway order experience has only gotten worse over time. Very poor over the phone to not understand a simple order and to get it wrong every time is also a something i admire. In house service was also below standards, were the only people in the restaurant and took 45 minutes for the food to arrive and cold as the waiter assumed my humus on the side was a starter. The place needs educated staff or a whole new level of training. As a regular of 5 years i will definitely not be coming back nor making an order for take away.

The worst breakfast everrrr!!! I cannot exaggerate how bad it was. The bread smelt like yeast i asked them to change it and they brang the same thing again! It is not worth your money. The ingredients they use is cheap. Low quality cheese and all packaged items. Honestly don’t waste your money there are much better cafes opposite the road.

'Aksula' is my first choice when it comes to restaurants in Enfield. I have been going there since 2016. Always happy about the food choices and the menu. I have booked here for a few birthday parties, holy communion and family dinner-out gatherings. I am a pescatarian and I always order sea bass( Fish ) but sadly last few times found the fish was cold and broken and also the cooked vegetables (NOT salad) were cold too. I was a bit disappointed as Aksulas's sea bass menu always has been so nice. I informed about this matter with one of the managers and he said sorry, I hope in future it will NOT happen again. overall nice place nice staff. Good luck !!

Turkish cuisine. I had falafel with hummus and couscous. The couscous was especially good. My friend had a baked aubergine dish. The service was good and the staff pleasant enough - but please kill the muzak!

In general restaurant have nice atmosphere waiters are kind and nice. However burger was not good- sauce was tasting like a rocket and it was killing all the flavor of whole burger and meat was medium quality, rest was pretty good.

The staff were helpful and friendly. We had more than enough room for attendees. We laughed and remembered our past successes.

This has arrived today 17/06/2023, the packaging was awful and the food was all bursted open, i have ordered 2 chicken aubergine karniyarik and oil from the food has leaked into the chips which has made the chips soggy, also the salad was next to the food and packaged together, so the salad was hot which is disgusting, the food has no taste, I have called them up to let them know but not even a apology. I will attach the photos of the food here how it arrived. This has cost me £53.93.

Amaazing. Just Amazing. A touch too much salt with my main, however i finished it at home later on. Apart from a little too much salt. Everything was perfect.

Very attentive staff from opening door on arrival, through to meal ordering and serving to opening door at departure. Food quality was excellent and very little waiting between courses.

Good food, although they did mix up the order a bit but saved themselves by presenting the incorrectly made food for free. Only gripe is that the place is proper noisy due to the club upstairs and the general background. Final comment is that there are other establishments locally that provide similar levels of food for less money with less general drama.

Service is great, everyone is very friendly. I was alone, most of the tables were for 4 and more people, and only one table for 2 at the very entrance They still seated me alone at the 4 person table near the window, I didn’t even have to ask. Very cute :) Lentil soup is lovely, whatever you see on the photo came with it and tasted great. I also ordered chicken doner wrap, it wasn’t bad but had this aftertaste that reminded me of soap a bit. When I asked for a take away box, they packed my food which was very thoughtful of staff. Tea was also great. Lovely experience

The restaurant provides good service and great food, with plenty of sharing options and prompt serving. Wait times are generally short on weekdays but can be longer on weekends. I’m idisappointed that hummus is not included as a complimentary item with the sharing platter. Dislike: The restaurant adds a service charge to the bill, which is not common among other Turkish restaurants. I don’t like being forced to pay it, but I always leave tips for their service.

Shocking experience and very expensive not even a free Turkish tea won’t go there again …..

The staff are very friendly and don't keep you waiting very long to be served. The food is lovely and the restaurant is very clean. It gets a bit noisy in there.

Went there with some friends for an evening meal and everyone commented how tasty the food was. Mains were plentiful and the Baklava were light and quite delicious. A great experience, quality food and service!

Disgraceful service the skimpy waiter and lanky waitress stood there the whole time speaking in there own language I’m assuming Albanian, starring and laughing at every table of customers. Food was horrible chicken cold and near enough raw and tasted weird! What happened to this old Turkish restaurant.
