Ada Restaurant in Enfield

I’ve never been to a restaurant where staff are so rude. A real shame because the food was alright.

Excellent lunch time menu mon- fri.

This was a huge disappointment. It used to be such a good restaurant, but today the food was abysmal. The salad looked old and drowned in vinegar, the kebab plates looked empty and colourless. The experience was more of a Turkish lokanta where the waiters are shouting at each other than a relaxing dining experience. I am sad to say that I won’t be rushing back.

poorly packed and the bottom of the box was crumpled and some of it spilled into the bag - so the bread was wet, they didn't give us starters for the three vegetarian main courses or any sauces or anything - it must be really poor there if they save

So I recently discovered ada restaurant and since then i cant stop ordering i just want to try everything on the menu i love how they give ezme , cacik , humus for free unlike other places just to get these you need to pay like £10+ really tasty food so far i tried 3 dishes and they were fabulous tasty juicy, i strongly highly recommend ada restaurant Enfield to everyone thank you

The restaurant is nice with good tasting food. I gave 3 stars because everything is OVERPRICED with VERY LOW PORTIONS. The large chicken beyti was £17.5 and we got ONE normal sized skewer. In restaurants like KERVAN, you get TWO skewers for the same price!!!!! Not good value for money at all Edit: Kervan charges about £20 for the large chicken beyti and you get TWO Skewers. So £17.50 for ONE skewer is not good value for money at all, considering for an additional £2.50 I can get TWO skewers at Kervan.

The service and the quality of the food was second to none.

Absolutely love this place. Food is amazing, staff are so so friendly and the portions are very good compared to other places. Nice deco and environment. All your favourite Turkish meals on offer. Free Turkish tea which other places charge you for too. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed! A massive 5 stars from me!

Celebrated a 40th Birthday with 12 people. Service was excellent. Especially Okcan, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Food was great and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

We use this restaurant regularly once a month… Today we were very disappointed with the quality of the lamb shish.. Definitely changed supplier .. tasted like liver/ chewy meat.. not the tender delicious lamb cubes of old. Service was very rushed.. We had not finished our starter and the main was placed- We will think again before returning to our favourite old restaurant…

Good service from Eren and his colleagues. Food was seasoned well. We had seabass and lamb, both were wonderful.

I have been eating here since it opened. I used to really rate the quality of this restaurant and value, but unfortunately, things have really taken a nose-dive. The lamb we were given tonight was extremely poor quality. It almost tasted like it was liver in grain and taste. It was not edible. When you consider that each lamb shish kebab cost around £23 each, this is inexcusable. The prices for this restaurant have been increasing so significantly, and I would now class them as extortionate. They give you less for what you pay for too. A side of halloumi, with 4 slices of halloumi, costs £7. They also make you pay for food to be delivered. It's starting to feel like a con going there, and they have now lost my custom. I would advise looking elsewhere for quality and value, as the restaurant is not delivering as it did when it first opened. Avoid!

I tried to cancel and when it turned up it was cold I wasn’t happy with my order

The service was appalling. Waitresses were slow even though it was not busy ie 4 other people in the place. They did not know what came with the meal. We asked if we got rice or potatoes and was told no. We order chips to go with meal. The meal had potatoes in it??. Also we got a side dish of rice. We were told the lunch time menu included a cold drink but never came. When we asked for it at the end of the meal ... we were told that the uncle of the waitress decided no more cold drinks were included in the menu. Well if you see us again (6 people in party) you can call me a fool.

Wonderful time was had by all as we celebrated a family occasion - all 8 of us were treated amazingly, there was a lovely atmosphere there, not too busy on a Sunday evening, was lovely and many thanks to our hosts Melissa and Elida!!!

We went mid week so was fairly quiet. Tables are well spaced so very comfortable and enjoyable environment. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and went above and beyond with service.Would definitely recommend.

The lunch prices seemed to have more than doubled in price. The lunch deals have gone The restaurant has had its refurbishment and lost its authenticity. It's trying to go more up market and although it may look nice its not as good value for money any more.

Service a bit slow and unorganised.

Very disappointing meal for our party of 22. At 30 quid plus each one would expect more than shared salad starter and shared platters of fatty ribs , chicken thighs on a what passed for a bed of rice. Desert ok . Waiters less than enthusiastic. We would have been better off having individual dishes. Also small point but weather conditions meant we all arrived with coats, umbrellas etc and when I asked for somewhere to leave this was met met by a shrug, Not good enough .

This place is actually the worst place to go for breakfast. Please don't waste your money in there.

Went here with my dad and yet again the food was lovely with good sized portions and staff were lovely but I had noticed how much the prices have shot up since my last visit 2 years ago but I would recommend this place.

Great food and service, as it was lunchtime not a lot of atmosphere, but as a group of people who weren't interested in atmosphere it was great, we were not hassled and had a lovely lunch .

Ordered a kunefe and Mille fueille on Deliveroo and both were disgusting and inedible. Tasted very old even the cream in the cake was solid. Should not be selling food that old to customers. kunefe was burnt around the edges. Definitely knew they had the dessert out for sale too long, could have called and told me they don’t have in stock instead of selling old food. Will not order again.

Takeaway received hot , plenty of it, quality of meat very good , 4 sauces. Generally very good.

The number 1 best restaurant in Enfield, the customer service, is exclusive there. I would definitely be eating there again. The food was top-notch cooked to perfection. Great experience. Clean and tidy. The music wasn't too loud, the staff were attentive and polite.

Today i visited Ada restaurant in enfield town and i must say, it was an amazing experience from the start to finish. Every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented the service was impeccable with the staff being attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. the ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend Ada restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience. (i want to say one small thing i was skimming through the reviews and saw the one star review shared today and i think it is unfair to those hard working individuals to say they were rude after my experience with them today for the first time) I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING BACK :)

Worst restaurant ever !!! I would give 0 stars , but that’s not possible , plssss avoid this place , the owners are very rude , the staff it’s always watching you so you can finish faster and they try to kick you out . The manager it’s making you feel so uncomfortable trying to make you buy the most expensive things on the menu , they thing we are stupid and try to manipulate and make you feel bad if you don’t buy their expensive steak and wine , very bad quality of service . They also force you to give tips every time you use the card machine payment . I won’t go there never again!!!

Today I managed to visit one of the Turkish restaurants ADA on Enfield I want to note that the waiter's service was disgusting, disrespectful and generally unprofessional, a man of about 50-55 years old, I understood that he works as a manager over all the waiters in this restaurant. With such waiters, although they cook deliciously here, I don't want to visit this place anymore

Waitresses were very rude and had an attitude. Food was overpriced and didn’t taste as well as it used to. A friend of mine also had similar feedback a few weeks ago. Staff really need better training on how to seem more approachable and polite. Very disappointing!

I can say it was the Best lamb soup I had in a while, the service is absolutely Brilliant the staff is Friendly and Kind I felt really welcomed and will definitely recommend to my friends and family. Thank you once again.

Another wonderful meal, delivered piping hot - absolutely delicious!

Lahmacun bread was quite tick which is not good for a good lahmacun. They put lettuce salad in a box to use for lahmacun wrap but salad was off. It was absolutely disgusting. Even my wife noticed it immediately and we put it in a bin.

Firstly, the food was tasty and well cooked. We went earlier today and the menu said (under each meal) served with hummus, cacik etc. So the lamb shish mentioned hummus etc. The kofte mentioned hummus etc. But when our meals came we got three very small bowls of chilli sauce, hummus and cacik (with bread on side). I pointed this out and believe it's misleading to mention the other stuff with each item, then just give three small bowls among us three. They said the three bowls were complimentary, then why list the extra things with each item on the menu? They did give us Turkish tea gratis, which was nice. Overall good food, just found the menu misleading. Don't list the hummus, cacik etc with each item you can select if it's just going to be three small bowls for three different meals.

This place is outstanding in every way. Incredible food, service, value for money and mind blowing desserts. A firm favourite at first sight.

The menu suggested lots available Gluten Free food. Turns out the menu is incorrectly labelling the food. I’m a coeliac and GF is a medical necessity. But the waiter gave me cous cous as GF, and we had to show him on the iPhone that cous cous is not GF. I was given rice (safe, right?). So when I asked what the brown bits were in the rice, the waiter had to go ask the chef. Turns out it’s orzo, pasta made from Durham wheat! Don’t eat here if you have allergens: the menu’s incorrect, the staff have no idea, and the restaurant shows no duty of care to its customers. My partner is not GF, and he enjoyed his meal. Good for him.

I've been to ADA on many occasions and enjoyed the experience, but the last few times, I have noticed that the food portions are tiny, but the price has increased alot. The moussaka portion has shrunk dramatically. The feta salad is mostly tomatoes. A table of 5 people will get the same amount of salad/dip starter as a table of 2. They used to give you more if there were more of you. The service can be slow. I'm afraid neither myself nor my friends are returning.

Disgusting! Went for dinner with my family and my young son was served a cake that was completely mouldy on the underside. The poor child ate half the cake before I tried a bit and tasted the mould straight away. I flipped the cake over and the underside was completely covered in mould! Will never eat there again!

Absolutely disgusting! I have just had dinner at Ada in Enfield and will never step foot in there again. I am horrified at what my 7 year old son was served for desert. My child had eaten half of his cake when i decided to try some. As soon as the cake hit my lips i could taste the mould! i turned the cake over in the plate and the entire bottom was covered in mould! This is completely unacceptable and although the staff put blame on their suppliers my child still left with a belly full of gone off cake. Change your supplier or learn how to store your food! Totally disgusted!

It was my first time here. It's a peaceful place, beautifully decorated inside. Mr. Haşim, one of the waiters, is a truly professional, cheerful and friendly gentleman. I appreciated his efforts to ensure that the menus I ordered arrived at the right time and did not get cold on my table. It can also keep track of all guests inside and organize them. I applaud the chef who cooked the fish and calamari, he did a great job 👍👌 I would like to give a little advice to the bartender: When you order double raki, there are double and single lines on the raki glass and never serve raki under those lines. I really enjoyed being here. I definitely recommend this place and will be back!!!!

Absolutely appalling! As a customer for over 6 years never had a such a terrible experience at Ada. This was one of our fav places to catch up with family, such a shame to be writing this. Last night full of tension, atmosphere very tensed the servers had no clue about the menu we had to describe what we wanted. I believe the management has changed as I have not seen one familiar face. Order was taken wrong. Food was okay if they had not taken the order wrong or had listened to what we asked for more clearly. Food as mentioned was okay but portion sizes seems smaller. We tried to have a little joke to maybe change it up but seemed nothing was understood and we felt very awkard even about telling a joke. One of our guests had an allergy intolerance unfortunately no one had a clue on understanding what she meant and we were not satisfied with the way we were approached and lack of manner we were spoken to. Such a shame to say but we won't be returning.

Rice was off, smelly and rotten. When we informed the server they refused to acknowledge it stank and only did so when we informed them we have no issues with paying but don’t serve it tomorrow because it’s off! Asked for water, server literally rolled his eyes. Food was not warm, meat was chewy and we paid £50 for 2 main dishes. Seriously overpriced food.

Was Dissapoint on this occasion with the platter for 4 .Not enough shish meat for 4 or humous and the salad was mainly lettuce ting bit of shredded carrot n cabbage and 1 tomato chopped in tiny bits! since covid takeaways have become very minimal yet prices higher😔

One of our favourite restaurants in Enfield, been visiting them for years. Definitely try their chicken livers and kleftiko, they deliciously melt in your mouth! Wonderful staff :)

Normally enjoy food from here but the meat moussaka portion was tiny with only a spoonful of dry minced meat. Also all the food was stone cold and we had to heat in microwave which ruined the chips.

Beautiful fresh, flavoursome food. Large portions with complimentary bread, dips & salad to start. Lovely people and good service. Warm, contemporary atmosphere. Visited many times for special family meals. Highly recommend!

My friend and I went last night I had the Kleftico and she had a creamy chicken dish. The Kleftico was absolutely tasteless. When the waitress asked how the food was I told her. Her reply was " The chef cooks this without any seasoning as he is unsure of everyones taste." She went and got some seasoning ( by this time it was too late) We would never return again as we had to pay for food that was disgusting.Also you would of thought they'd offer us an alternative, something complementry or even take the meat off . Sadly none of the above happened.

The food was so nice and delicious and service was spectacular, also the owners where very nice and welcoming people with very affordable prices and nice decor.

This restaurant seems to be very tight with its salad. Its staff also have an attitude problem. We spent £80 plus on food, plus alcohol, and the waiter gave us a small salad for four people with the starters. On the menus, which were whisked away, it stated that all meals came with a salad each. No salad each came with the mains. I asked the waiter where was our salad with the main as per the menu? He first said ‘You want extra salad?’ meaning we had to pay £5 to have the salad - they’d also said that to us on the last visit a few months back. I said, ‘Not extra. It says it comes with the meals but you have not brought it.’ I then had to catch his eye which took a time as he seemed ‘busy’ elsewhere to ask a further two times as our meals were growing cold. Finally, he brought a small bowl of salad for us four and said in a thinly veiled sarcastic voice to me, ‘Here it is. Just for you’. No apology for not bringing out the wrong meal, or for the wait. Trying to get the bill brought took a further long wait, so we went to the till to pay which seemed to surprise the waitress who asked ‘Was no one there?’. I said ‘They were but we couldn’t get there attention’. My idea of a pleasant evening out is not *to be taken for a fool *having to chase the correct meal that I or ordered *having to chase the bill and give up and go to the till *to be spoken to disrespectfully by a sarcastic, deliberately inattentive waiter That was my last visit to Ada.

Our first visit to Ada lahmacun was very soggy dough needed more cooking it tasted like it was cooked earlier and they microwaved it to warm it up we got chefs special for two everything on that plate was disgusting food had no taste at all staff was friendly won’t be going again

Very poor experience. Placed an order via deliveroo and got delivered completely wrong items. I called and complained so was sent yet another order with salad and rice instead of a whole platter. When I called again, I was told that this is not their mistake, and the person to blame is the deliveroo driver! What they forgot was that the second delivery was made by their own driver. The manager didn't want to listen to me when I complained again and told me it is "interesting ". Probably to them but not to me who waited over 2 hours to receive a box of salad and rice (instead of a whole platter) for £72. Won't be ordering anything from here again.

Beautiful decor, coupled with a splendid atmosphere and nice tasty food freshly prepared for you. Ohh! Don't forget to try their smoothies 😋.

It was my first time ordering here and I was blown away! It came hot, on time and was so delicious. HUGE portion sizes and extras. When I saw there was a little pot of hummus, I knew I was their customer forever (Hummus is my favourite,and an absolute weakness of mine!) I've not been so happy with a delivery before, and I cannot wait to order from Ada again.
