Steak is a funny thing.. it can be a stunning life changing experience, or it can be banal and boring.... Guess which this experience was.... Ibai, Hawksmoor, and half a dozen steak restaurants are so much better... For 125 quid a head with only a single glass of wine each, it was utterly overpriced, and the steak was under seasoned and just...average... I've had Gallician beef many times, and it normally has a lot more flavour... Feel utterly ripped off, and I have no problem spending the same money in other places...

Absolutely amazing! The service alone stood out, we went for a cigarette after a massive steak (which was outstanding) and the waiter even asked us if we would like to put the croquetas on hold so they would be hot when we sat down again. Perfection!

We had the roast dinner platter here between the two of us. It wasn’t your classic roast dinner, but it was decent. The steak included with it tasted good although it had a bit too much fat on it to eat around. The ratatouille & creamy spinach dishes were nice. The waiters we had were very friendly & one of them took their time to explain different wines to us, which was appreciated as we were unsure which red wine to get. If I return here, I’d definitely go for a steak instead of the roast as the roast seemed overpriced for what it was (one platter priced at £60 for two people).

Went a few years back and was rather disappointed with the service (lack of staff, unattentive) and had left it as a 50/50 chance to return.... and was pleasantly surprised when I returned recently! The food was absolutely fantastic and the new team looked after myself and my guests so well!! Will definitely be coming back more regularly now :)

La experiencia más extraña. Dos grandes trozos de carne se muestran en la mesa. Cuando pedimos otra comida camarero dice “¿está seguro?” y decimos que sí. Camarero continúa ”¿Estás seguro de que no quieres nada más?” Empezamos a preguntarnos si todo lo demás en el meny es tan malo o si nos están empujando a pedir el filete de 100 libras que no podemos permitirnos. Este restaurante ha olvidado cómo tratar a todos los clientes por igual. No se supone que hagas que los clientes se sientan avergonzados por sus elecciones. El servicio es definitivamente mejor en las mesas donde la gente pide opciones caras y eso no está bien. ¡Deja de hacer todas estas preguntas! Toma el pedido, entiende que todos los clientes son los que pagan tu salario y que tenemos diferentes oportunidades y economía. Nos hiciste sentir inútiles y no deseo eso para nadie que esté fuera para una buena comida.

However, upon arrival, we were informed that this option was only valid on Sundays, a detail that was not clear during the booking process... No alternative solution or compensation was offered, which was disappointing. Simply unprofessional. Additionally, having recently undergone knee surgery and with inclement weather outside, I was looking for a relaxed dining experience. We chose the £76 per person menu expecting a high quality meal. While the bread and meat were quite good, the fish omelette and other dishes fell short in flavour and overall quality.

The Txuleton was absolutely amazing! Black puddings were better than I expected. Of course, basque cheesecake was so delicious. All of the staffs were kind and friendly. House wine was good with the steak. Definitely recommended for family!

El problema es que tienen un baturro como encargado con una soberbia inversamente proporcional a su corta estatura se presentó como el manajer. Le.pedimos dos órdenes.de croquetas, y para hacerse el interesante dijo " las croquetas no se pueden dividir le traigo cuatro...." bueno. Luego trajo una fuente de hielos usada, aun con la botella vacía de otra mesa en un acto de torpeza suprema y groseria. Lastima de cocina qué es espléndida y de que los ingredientes sean de primera, y que la experiencia se frustre por la mediocridad de una persona que seguramente es totalmente ajena a la industria de la hospitalidad. 700 libras de.cuenta para hacer este comentario.

I had a reservation with my girl on a Saturday afternoon. The host sat us down at the table mentioning that they need the table back in 2h which is fine plenty of time for 2ppl, if it wasn’t that we had to wait 1h before the order was taken. We ordered 1.2kg of Txuleton cow which arrived cold and out of 1.2kg probably just 350g was meat the rest was a massive bone right in the middle. We had some sides which they were fine and a nice bottle of red. Overall the food was ok but definitely not worth it the money, service below the standards for London hospitality if you think of 12.5% service I had to pay (£30). Worth it to try, but didn’t left me satisfied.

Disappointing food. Lacklustre flavour, small portions, ridiculously expensive for what they serve. We ordered coke which charged at £3.5 and didnt even give us the can or bottle, just half of a small glass. The lamb trotters were just bones, took me less than 6 minutes to finish the plate while spending most of it picking the bones out. Lettuce salad dish had more raw onions than lettuce. Everything was underwhelming and disappointing. Save your hard earned money and spend it somewhere else better

A man called Leo served us and refused us a table even when there was no one at the restaurant he’s been told to not take any bookings but there wasn’t even 1/3 of the restaurant full.Was very rude and once we booked online and confirm the booking still told us there was nothing we could do very rude would never come back awful service.

The steak was terrible and isn’t worth that money. I decided to pay that much for a small portion of steak because it looked amazing in the Instagram advertisement, but in reality, it wasn’t like that. Not only was the steak horrible, but even the other dishes were lacking flavor. Apart from the atmosphere and the variety of wines, there isn’t anything interesting.

Over priced. Food is good but not as good as the price suggests. Tuna starter was almost microscopic. £10 for a couple of slithers of fish on toast. Gritty kale, “twice cooked wedges” were just overcooked wedges. Our waiter tried to take our monkfish (£98) sauce and seemed to think it weird that we would want it. I won’t be back.

Came here with a friend on his recommendation. We had a drink and three courses, and the bill came to over £140 per person which seems OBSCENELY expensive. We had the basque steak, and it was okay - I’ve had much much better steaks at other restaurants and this could not justify the price. Service was good but not fast or attentive. Won’t be returning

We chose 850 grams of premium meat. The meat also had a serious smell, even when it came to the table to choose, it smelled strong, we really didn't like it, and it was too nerve-racking to cut it with our teeth. The spinach side plate that came with it was very heavy, the smashed potato was nice but unusual. The place was very crowded and cramped, so there was an intense smell, I don't understand how it got such high scores.

We had 4 people. Ordered tasting menu for 2 people, and two ordered separate entrees: cod and duck breast. Duck breast was the only decent option out of all dishes we ordered. Cod both in tasting menu and as an entree was overcooked and tasted nothing but rubbery and too fishy. Steak was served as blue without asking of desired doneness. No seasoning as salt or pepper was offered. It was supposed to be served on warm plates but by the time steak came plates were cold. The meat was not as tender or buttery as I would expect. Been to many similar hi-end places in US and Japan, not comparable. On the positive side amount of food in tasting menu is very generous. Runner spilled the water all over and didn’t apologize or replace the bottle. Waiters all speak too quietly and we had to ask twice all the time.

The steak was really good, and unusually for a steak restaurant we also had 3 exceptional desserts. Some bugbears: - the overheard lighting makes you feel a bit like you're in a motorway service station - there is only one women's loo (also doubling up as the disabled) but multiple men's cubicles. Get ready to queue ladies. - the only potato side dish (wedges) is not particularly delicious and is fairly unseasoned - there's also no salt or pepper on the tables.

Very very poor value for money. The £42 sirloin was probably the smallest sirloin I have ever had and was maybe150 grams at best. You'd be far better off going to Hawksmoor or Blacklock. Good portion size for the sides (which weren't amazing admittedly) and service was decent however.

After reading positive comments online, we decided to have my birthday dinner at Sagardi this year. We usually celebrate at our favourite restaurants, but this time, we wanted to try something different. As a foodie who loves to cook, I can wholeheartedly say that, taste-wise, this restaurant is below average. You can get a much better steak at a good gastropub. The cheesecake, which they seemed very proud of, was disappointing—more like warm cream cheese than an actual cheesecake. We paid £280 for two adults and one child, which felt overpriced given the experience. Although the restaurant was quite empty, the service was slow, and the food did not live up to expectations. It was a huge disappointment for us. I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There are many better places in London where you can enjoy much better food for a more reasonable price.

Great lunch . It’s super casual but the detail is all about the food. Think we were the last people there but we weren’t rushed away which was appreciated. Bit more expensive than expected but we did enjoy the wine list!

Excellent food at this casual restaurant. The lamb skewers are delicious and cooked to perfection. The menu is extensive so would suggest asking the staff for advice if you aren't familiar. Plenty of options, ensure to clarify on size of dishes on your order too to avoid overordering!

The lentil soup on a cold day is hard to beat - everything else was super fresh and delicious, generously served with warmth and welcome. I’ll be back!
