The food was reasonably good, the restaurant was clean, well decorated and the staff were attentive without being overbearing, however, the experience was overpriced in my opinion and this largely came down to the food The steaks were cooked too fast and unfortunately almost every dish was lacking in finesse (stupid word but the best I could come up with). The grill was too hot meaning the center was too raw when the outside was cooked, they weren't rested long enough before slicing, etc. several of the sides lacked seasoning. My tuna tartare lacked punch and flavour, unfortunately I could go on. In summary, the experience lacked the extra details that would have helped to justify the extremely high price tag.

We love the Hawksmoor but Sagardi Galician Beef is on another level good, it was juicy and cooked to perfection, considering this is the same price as Hawksmoor- £13.5 per 100g. Sagardi is much better value. Amazing Spanish wine selection, starters, sides and dessert all deliciously made.

The atmosphere and the service was perfect but the food was shambolic (Sunday Roast dinner). Everything tasted burnt even the kale and the Yorkshire pudding. Only the steak was tasty but that didn’t even make up for the price. I was shocked by the burnt flavour exploding in my mouth. After the dinner we went to the banh mi place across the street and it was way cheaper and tastier than what we got. Only advisable if one has a particular fondness for burnt kale, underwhelming Yorkshire pudding, subpar roast vegetables, and a rather uninspiring gravy. Toodles 💃

As someone who’s dined at Asador Etxebarri multiple times and knows exactly what a proper Galician steak should be, I can confidently say this place is a disgrace. The steak was a total failure—dry as cardboard on the outside, yet practically bleeding on the inside. No one even asked how I wanted it cooked, and what I got was a chewy, undercooked mess that was borderline inedible. For a restaurant pretending to be serious about meat, that’s just embarrassing. The starters were laughably basic. Grilled asparagus, sausage, and leek that tasted like someone threw them on a pan at home and called it a day. Zero finesse, zero depth—just overpriced mediocrity passed off as “rustic.” But the biggest insult came at the end: their so-called Basque cheesecake. I don’t know what that was, but it was definitely not Basque, and definitely not cheesecake. It tasted nothing like sheep’s cheese, had a weird rubbery texture, and was just downright unpleasant. Whoever approved that dessert should reconsider their career. This place has absolutely nothing to do with Basque cuisine. As someone who visits San Sebastián and Bilbao regularly, I find it offensive that they dare use the word “Basque” in their branding. It’s misleading at best, and culinary vandalism at worst. Avoid unless you’re into overpriced food that disrespects the traditions it claims to represent.

Best steak in London! What an incredible experience, all of the employees were lovely and very helpful with explaining elements of the menu. There were so many things we wanted to order, we will have to come back and try the fish next time but their premium steak was absolutely incredible. Visited sagardi for a birthday celebration. The steaks very delicious, possibly one of the best steak’s I’ve eaten. The steaks dont come with anything but personally didn’t think the sides we ordered we necessary. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful especially when it came to wines with the extensive selection. Very expensive but good quality food. I personally disagree with the concept of service charge, especially when enjoying plenty of wine and having extra percentage charge feels cheeky, but its discretionary but can feel awkward. Despite this, was delicious and i would recommend

Excellent food. Finally a place to eat quality meat in London. The rest of the places are not worth it. Exquisite attention. The only drawback, to put it one, is that having such good coals, they don't make roasted potatoes to accompany the meat. The rest spectacular. I will try the fish again.

2nd visit, and exquisite again! I think this could be my new favourite restaurant in London. Service was excellent, food incredible. Wine list is extensive and full of gems. The txuleton (hefty slab of beef to you) was mouth wateringly good: perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. Highly, HIGHLY recommend you visit.

Steak is a funny thing.. it can be a stunning life changing experience, or it can be banal and boring.... Guess which this experience was.... Ibai, Hawksmoor, and half a dozen steak restaurants are so much better... For 125 quid a head with only a single glass of wine each, it was utterly overpriced, and the steak was under seasoned and just...average... I've had Gallician beef many times, and it normally has a lot more flavour... Feel utterly ripped off, and I have no problem spending the same money in other places...

We had the roast dinner platter here between the two of us. It wasn’t your classic roast dinner, but it was decent. The steak included with it tasted good although it had a bit too much fat on it to eat around. The ratatouille & creamy spinach dishes were nice. The waiters we had were very friendly & one of them took their time to explain different wines to us, which was appreciated as we were unsure which red wine to get. If I return here, I’d definitely go for a steak instead of the roast as the roast seemed overpriced for what it was (one platter priced at £60 for two people).

Went a few years back and was rather disappointed with the service (lack of staff, unattentive) and had left it as a 50/50 chance to return.... and was pleasantly surprised when I returned recently! Este restaurante ha olvidado cómo tratar a todos los clientes por igual. No se supone que hagas que los clientes se sientan avergonzados por sus elecciones. El servicio es definitivamente mejor en las mesas donde la gente pide opciones caras y eso no está bien. ¡Deja de hacer todas estas preguntas! Toma el pedido, entiende que todos los clientes son los que pagan tu salario y que tenemos diferentes oportunidades y economía. No alternative solution or compensation was offered, which was disappointing. Simply unprofessional. Additionally, having recently undergone knee surgery and with inclement weather outside, I was looking for a relaxed dining experience. We chose the £76 per person menu expecting a high quality meal. While the bread and meat were quite good, the fish omelette and other dishes fell short in flavour and overall quality.

El problema es que tienen un baturro como encargado con una soberbia inversamente proporcional a su corta estatura se presentó como el manajer. Le.pedimos dos órdenes.de croquetas, y para hacerse el interesante dijo " las croquetas no se pueden dividir le traigo cuatro...." bueno. Luego trajo una fuente de hielos usada, aun con la botella vacía de otra mesa en un acto de torpeza suprema y groseria. Lastima de cocina qué es espléndida y de que los ingredientes sean de primera, y que la experiencia se frustre por la mediocridad de una persona que seguramente es totalmente ajena a la industria de la hospitalidad. 700 libras de.cuenta para hacer este comentario.

I had a reservation with my girl on a Saturday afternoon. The host sat us down at the table mentioning that they need the table back in 2h which is fine plenty of time for 2ppl, if it wasn’t that we had to wait 1h before the order was taken. We ordered 1.2kg of Txuleton cow which arrived cold and out of 1.2kg probably just 350g was meat the rest was a massive bone right in the middle. We had some sides which they were fine and a nice bottle of red. Overall the food was ok but definitely not worth it the money, service below the standards for London hospitality if you think of 12.5% service I had to pay (£30). Worth it to try, but didn’t left me satisfied.

Disappointing food. Lacklustre flavour, small portions, ridiculously expensive for what they serve. We ordered coke which charged at £3.5 and didnt even give us the can or bottle, just half of a small glass. The lamb trotters were just bones, took me less than 6 minutes to finish the plate while spending most of it picking the bones out. Lettuce salad dish had more raw onions than lettuce. Everything was underwhelming and disappointing. Save your hard earned money and spend it somewhere else better

The steak was terrible and isn’t worth that money. I decided to pay that much for a small portion of steak because it looked amazing in the Instagram advertisement, but in reality, it wasn’t like that. Not only was the steak horrible, but even the other dishes were lacking flavor. Apart from the atmosphere and the variety of wines, there isn’t anything interesting.

Over priced. Food is good but not as good as the price suggests. Tuna starter was almost microscopic. £10 for a couple of slithers of fish on toast. Great lunch . It’s super casual but the detail is all about the food. Think we were the last people there but we weren’t rushed away which was appreciated. Bit more expensive than expected but we did enjoy the wine list!

I passed by this restaurant when trying to look for a place to take my breakfast and I decided to taste their Turkish breakfast that I have never tasted before. And it was de-li-cious!! Everything that I wanted for my breakfast. Eggs, salad, different types of cheese, a kind of cheesy crispy roll, cheesy crispy bread, some meet,… it was tasty and well prepared, served with some Turkish bread a delicious Turkish tea. The best breakfast I have ever had! And the staff was nice as well! Next time I’m coming to London I’m planning on coming again.

Hidden gem! Amazing cocktails, so creative! Try the Bearllinis they’re amazing!! Lovely staff, great atmosphere, small space so bookings are probably a good idea as I hear it’s a popular spot
