Dom's Place in Hackney

Chicken wrap is absolutely great. Meat was grilled juicy and very tasty. The sausage in the spicy sausage panini has something to be desired but that chicken definitely wins all points.

Why is this number and says this Dom place ringing to try and scam people. This is same number from caller came up on my phone as Dom place. So please beware of anyone trying to scam you from this number.

I had the lamb wrap with sumakli salad and biri biri Salad delivered. The wrap had a lot of delicious lamb but had no sauces which let it down.

I like red onion but too much red onion

Ordered from here food was absolutely horrendous - a shame as I have eaten from here in the past and it used to be very gd. So I ordered 3 kofte wraps which were very basic in taste the salad was not fresh. They completely forgot to put garlic and chilli in all 3 which is just ridiculous as I specifically asked for chilli and garlic in my wraps - that's 3 unhappy ppl. The burger was the worse thing I've ever had - check the pictures below - stale and absolutely cold. Box filled with stale salad I couldn't even pick it up. Best to avoid this place as its not what it used to be.

I ordered via Uber Eats and got the vegan kebab. I had to triple-check that this was vegan because the taste was indistinguishable from real meat. the quality of all the ingredients was second to none and was absolutely my most tastiest experience of a kebab. When I'm next in London I simply HAVE to go in person to have it super fresh. Thank you!!!

Underrated: fair prices for delicious grilled meat sandwiches served with nice home made sauces

By far the worst wrap I've ever had in my life. Over priced, tasted rubbish and is very small for the price. I had to go get a second take away after. Massively disappointing for the prices they charges compared to other takeaways in the clapton area. Wouldn't recommend

Went to Dom’s place with a small group of young professionals on a quiet Tuesday night. Plenty of option on the menu, but a very appealing deal of £10.50 for a lamb burger and chips caught our eye. The burger was not a boring patty, instead it was filled with fresh meat straight from the grill. The chips looked great online and did not disappoint; what really stood out for me was the sauces provided, a garlic dip and a salsa-like pot was the perfect accompaniment for this meal. Fantastic value for money, a great tasty fresh but still fast food sit-in experience that could easily become an inexpensive monthly treat. Highly recommend!

Been visiting since its opened. Always a great choice for quick, decent food at a good price. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Wish I could give them a better review, after calling numerous times walked down to order takeout (not sure why they didnt pick up the place was empty). Ordered 2 meals to find half of the items I ordered were missing when I got home. Tried calling and messaging on facebook to resolve this to no response. The food i did get was fine but the fact that they were impossible to contact and half the food was missing was very disappointing.

My favourite take out spot in the area! The food is super tasty, you can tell they use quality ingredients and they are open till 2am Fri and Sat! Plus, they often have great deals if you are eating in. It's all delicious but halloumi and peppers wrap is the one for me! 😍

The chips were barely cooked not crispy at all Ezme salad was not nice i don’t like cucumber which was in the salad. Ezme doesnt usually have cucumber Chicken was ok small portion for the price wouldn’t order from here again waste of money

I had the lamb wrap at 11 quid when only 1 year ago it was 9 quid. And the wrap was so small. Still hungry... its very tasty but way too expensive for a wrap, no wonder why it's always empty.

Popped in for a quick wrap and it was absolute perfection! The option to pick thin or thick bread is something I have never seen anywhere and the chilli & garlic sauce was amazing. Will definitely be going back!

I’ve had the exact same order before but this time the food wasn’t as good. Not much salad/no pomegranate seeds in the wrap. Chips were soggy and used to be seasoned. I had to season them myself.

Horrible. A joke. £8 for a takeaway wrap that was SO small, and cold. Think nasty tasteless measly Tesco pre-made wrap, badly made, badly put together, not enough food, not a nice authentic wrap just literally the type you can buy multipacks of in the supermarket. Horrible little plastic sachets of sauces / dips. An absolute rip off. Avoid.

Pretty bland (aside from the salad), no aubergine in the wrap despite that being a key part of it.

This is honestly my favourite takeaway in Hackney. I always go for the chicken tavuk on a plate and the food portions are huge and great value for money. Also, it kinda feels healthy because its so fresh and flavoursome. Absolute gem! And when I do get to visit in person the staff are always so friendly too! 10/10

Dom’s burger I’ve been eating for years, for there is good reason. It is always juicy, large, succulent and perfect with the amount of salad and cheese , which somehow never spills out ever. Also given are two delicious sauces, one red and delicious (not spicy) and a white creamy Mayo . Absolutely banging!!!!! Well priced and worth every penny.

Very good value vegan doner, handmade chips were nice too but a tad overcooked on this occasion. Wish they still offered a choice of different salads on the kebab wrap as previously, and a choice of bread.

Charged £2.45 for a can of coke zero, and it was 6 months out of date. Guy didn’t really seem to care, handed me a diet coke instead and didn’t bother checking any of the other ones. They’ll be selling their foul tasting out of date coke at that markup for a while rather than bin it. The chicken wrap wasn’t great either, very dry. Don’t bother unless you’re desperate.

Driver arrived, told me it was the wrong order before handing it over. Told me to keep it anyway. Handed me a bag that was wet, the food fell all over my hallway floor. He just said ‘talk to JustEat yeah’. Shockingly bad.

Really nice food. Would prefer if it had the option to choose salad type for the vegan donor as it used to but that is a minor issue. Ordered small vegan Hackney gelato and as it was unavailable was given a full size vegan Ben and Jerrys instead which was a lovely surprise.

No bread, got side order wrong. Garlic sauce no taste. Bo salad dressing. All in all a poor meal.

Food was great but for £9 the wrap was quite small and cold on delivery. Would recomend but I thinks it's probably better to eat in.

Food was missing. Cold. Restaurant said it was because the delivery driver was late collecting and the order was complete. Such a shame. One of my favourite local restaurants but won’t be back. No one owns the problem and it’s always someone else’s fault. Just eat only refunded the missing items not the freezing food.

Not recommended for takeaway. £20 for a chicken wrap, falafel wrap and chips to take away. Chips were greasy and stale, wraps also stale. Surprised with the quality given the otherwise positive reviews on here - clearly more of a dine in place

Within order to delivery it took 25 mins. Food was hot and delicious; also decent portion size. Will order again

Las envolturas en Dom's son increíbles. ¡Siempre ordeno el doner kebab vegano y está increíblemente delicioso! Solo le he dado 4 estrellas porque tengo que decir que no creo que las fichas sean muy buenas. Pero las envolturas son fantásticas, ¡así que recomiendo encarecidamente pedir una!

Great. Lovely food, good range of dishes and beer. Great staff and service. 100% recommend. Covid update: [early June] TERRIBLE service. staff seemingly shout and mumble at the same time, no napkins or cutlery provided when asked. Over/undercharged at random. Customers orders were confused with others, some given numbers some not. Staff member omeone simply shouted a number from across the room at me, out of context, rather than just asking 'did you order this or did phone you order over the phone'. Not just my experience but that of 2 other customers observed and friends who had similar experiences. Including missing bits of the order, unclear random shouting at customers demanding tone, confusion over price. I'm very willing to accept that things are difficult under Covid, but this is just bad service, could be easily rectified I'm not going back until restaurant service is resumed and until then I'll leave my 5* out of loyalty. But go renewed expectations of appalling service.

Food Clapton Gem, tasky kebabs and sandwichs for around 8-10£. Didn't test the dessert yet, but the meat inside sandwich is great. I recommend kofte lamb

Ordered 3 items and only 2 turned up. Not sure how difficult it is to put just 3 items in a bag but oh well. Tried to call and number always busy. Just eat refused to ask them to send a replacement. Won’t order again

Delivered lamb instead of chicken. Still tasty but not what I wanted.

I just ordered from here via just eat based on the Google reviews and just eat reviews. I have to say I am thoroughly disappointed. Firstly it arrived cold. Both the chicken and lamb takvuk were very over cooked, meaning they were dry and over charred. I also ordered the Mus veggie special wrap. The halloumi had no taste, it looked to be barely cooked/seared and the wrap itself was so soggy from the salad it did not hold its contents. If you know it's going to be delivered why not just separate the salad? Also other takeaways which offer similar food such as scoffs grill or nazar takeaway offer 2 types of rice and bread. On a plus the salad was nice and the chilli sauce was ok.
