A family run business, little Georgia while small has big heart. As a former Chef I was surprised and delighted at how interesting and utterly delicious the food was. Think home cooked meal with simple yet skilled presentation, and warm service that makes you feel like a part of the family. It can get quite busy, as it is a popular destination. But that can be fun as it feels lively. We went on a quieter evening which was also nice. You can bring your own Alcohol, or they have a selection of Georgian Wine and Beer. If you don’t drink, they have a very interesting bright green Tarragon Lemonade, that I find very refreshing! If you’ve never been, I recommend any of the Khachapuri, we had the Adjaruli (with egg + butter) along with the Mezze platter. Khachapuri is a bread boat filled with various things ours was just the most glorious cheesy buttery bready goodness, and it is perfect paired with the Mezze, a varied selection of cold salads which are mind blowingly delicious and refreshing. Little Georgia is an absolute must try if you’re around Broadway Market, and looking for an excellent place to eat. I can’t wait to try their entire menu in future visits!

Decided to try here on a girls dinner catch up! It being January we were on a budget and were attracted as a BYOB place and that none of us had tried Georgian food before. They advertise the wine shop opposite which does have a good range of wines including Georgian, but the hefty price tags (av £36 a bottle) meant that we probably should have stopped at a supermarket on the way. We walked in to a busy bustling place which is always a good sign. We were shown to our table downstairs in a very interesting room of art. Nice but some of my friends found it weird looking at a giant photographic style mural of a nuclear power plant control panel whilst eating. Highly possible we missed the context of this. The menu is simple but somewhat pricy for some things. The £22 Meze for example- as other reviews note, it is delicious but the morsal of sample each was a little stingy tbh. And it would have been nice to know the name of the dips. Main menu gave a selection for meat eaters and vegetarians - we all managed to get something different and the experience was varied. The spicy chicken stew wasnt spicy at all, the bean stew was incredibly salty, the beef stew was nice and the aubergine dish was unexpectedly very spicy. One friend ordered the cheesebread with egg - which at £14.50 seemed very spenny for what it was. More of a side dish but at main prices. Service was OK, ordering was smooth, food came and water was given - but there wasnt any niceties or particular customer care to note, which for me didnt match the prices of the food. Nice enough but not sure I would go back. And if you are eating with anyone with an adversion to spice/chilli - DEFINITELY ask - because its not described on the menu.

The starters were all very nice (too a few variations of khachapyri) but not mains. Khinkali were the main disappointment as the dough literally fell apart and off the meat , plus was completely empty and dry inside. We also tried a few stews but didn't work for us. My son had been learning about Georgia at school and wanted to try khachapuri. I assumed we'd at least get that at Little Georgia. Alas, no. The experience could not have been much worse. We waited at the restaurant for over an hour, at which point we'd been given a jug of water and nothing else. They didn't have any soft drinks in so we got them from a shop over the road. We expected a wait for the khachapuri (the menu says there's a 20 min wait for bread which is fine) but even the cold starters hadn't arrived by the time we decided to cut our losses and leave. I've read and enjoyed the owner's book Supra so am truly astounded by how poorly Georgian hospitality is represented at the restaurant! No friendly welcome, no sorry-for-the-wait, not a morsel of food in 70 minutes. I've heard very good things about Kartuli in south London so we'll give that a go as we are still hoping to get our khachapuri fix. It looks like such a cute little place but I can only recommend people give it a wide berth.

Lovely little spot. Food was delicious but I do agree with another reviewer that for £22 I would expect a bigger portion of salads - especially as they are all so yummy you want more! The cheese bread that comes with it is a great accompaniment. Personally I think they would be better off having a set menu/tasting menu where you get a good spread served to the table. I think I would feel more satisfied by that and it would help with the kitchen and service time. Only took one photo of the dumplings.

Georgian food is not easy to find in London so it was nice to try a spot which serves up a taste of the country. The restaurant seems to be family owned and they were very friendly however the food was underwhelming. The prices are high, for example £22 for a 2 person meze starter of salads which really is very very small for the price. We also had a long wait for the main and had to get up to ask for the bill after. They also don't have a working toilet which is another reason for the lower rating. It was just under £60 between the two of us for a shared starter, two mains (all vegetarian) and two colas. Anything rated 4+ is somewhere I would go again and bring friends however we wouldn't be rushing back to this spot again so gave 3 stars.

Very lovely place, it has two floors, the staff is really friendly, food is tasty. Hinkali was great, really enjoyed. They used fresh meat and it was not spicy, just at the right taste. Prices are good, the entire environment is great. But they work till 6 and reopen at 6.30, do know why, but they do not provide this information elsewhere.

Small Georgian cafe/restaurant with seating on ground floor and in basement. Service was engaged and swift, considering the place was busy. Food was super tasty, nicely presented and plentiful. Really good experience.

Very good place to have nice Georgian food. One can bring own wine (Georgian wine is sold in the nearby Turkish shop) food is very fresh and healthy. Main dishes are different every day a lot of choices also for vegetarians and vegans, good choice of poultry and meat. Atmosphere is very friendly and interior is beautiful - love the dry flowers and old photos and telephones :). Recommend Little Georgia Cafe in Goldsmiths Row to everybody.
