Saturday brunch is just the best!

Great food, service and vibes. I will be coming back here for the bottomless brunch. I do wish they had other options for the bottomless drinks, but all in all great time.

We had a brilliant night last night for a big group dinner. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome, and the food was delicious.

My sons took me there for Mother's Day. The food was absolutely lovely a great choice of food and desserts. Staff were great.

Best bottomless brunch our group has ever had. Who can say no to bottomless food!? Food was great quality and arrived quickly. The staff were immensely attentive and friendly. The bottomless drinks were great and so worth it - which is usually what goes wrong with bottomless brunches, however the bottomless brunch at Jones & Sons was perfect!! Thank you to the wonderful Jones & Sons team for making celebrating my birthday so wonderful.

Fantastic Sunday roast - one of the best I’ve had in London. Good vibe, bordering on upscale. Delicious sides available too, so you definitively won’t leave hungry.

Bottomless brunch, supposed to be unlimited but only managed to get two drinks and one main and pudding each before the 2 hour limit was up. I remember spending more time trying to get staff’s attention to order or to ask where our drinks/food were and I didn’t really get to catch up with my friends.

Jones & Son is not only an exceptional restaurant, but we also had our wedding here (!) and cannot praise it enough as a wedding venue, too. The food is excellent (guests said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding) the staff are incredible (shout out to Chloe for her amazing skills at organising the day and always being someone we look forward to seeing) and the atmosphere inside is modern, relaxed, and so comfortable. We also come back here to eat regularly (including last night!) and the food never lets us down. We love you, Jones & Sons! (We have about 5 million photos here are just 3!)

2nd visit here...Great Roast Dinners and also I love a place where you can get a side if cauliflower cheese. Also...v good Bloody Mary's. I only got a photo of this as I ate the food too quickly and forgot to take a pic (great sign) 😊

Had our staff xmas dinner here had a great time, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Would highly recommend. Food is delicious and staff are wonderful. We had our Christmas party here of 19 people including children and they were so accommodating and helpful. Service was great. We had a wonderful evening! Thank you.

Outstanding food for the price. We went mid week and was completely empty, which is a shame as the quality of food was exceptional. Service was good with friendly staff.

2023 December: Revisited - whilst the food was excellent, it's a shame that the service and atmosphere have failed to be maintained. Dined on a Saturday with the main restaurant area fairly quiet/subdued and a private party in the adjoining space (with a DJ enjoying the sound of galloping horses rather than beat matching). Waited about 15 mins before we had to ask to be given a drinks menu. A few of the staff seemed to be disinterested and emptying the bins out in front of the table to be taken out the main front restaurant door is pretty off putting (never seen that before in any restaurant). Service improved a bit as the night went on but overall, it wasn't a great dining experience. 2018: Great dining experience from start to finish. Walking through the door, the place smelt amazing (first sign that the food was going to be really good). Wasn't disappointed - the seasonal dishes were tasty and well executed. Good wine list (enjoyed the organic Rhone). Friendly, attentive staff. We had the set menu which was terrific value for money. Definitely returning

Absolutely appalling experience. Firstly, this is not a "bottomless brunch" as advertised - the service is deliberately slow, clumsy and frosty. The aim is to get you to run out of time whilst serving as little as possible, and the best part is when you're informed that the kitchen is closed without any prior indication (our slot was from 11:15 to 1:15, refused further service at 1 pm as the kitchen had already closed at either 12:45 or 1 pm depending on who you believe). Staff were reluctant to approach, even though it was relatively quiet during our visit. The food is very mediocre and portions are measly, with a £4 surcharge for a super chewy steak; no reaction was elicited to the feedback that I had been asked for. "Freshly squeezed" OJ straight from a carton (initially told that they'd run out of OJ", "Grilled peaches" straight out of a tin, and a staff member that considers rinsing their fingers with water for a split second after visiting the loo is adequately hygienic. A total rip-off at £41 per head, and a waste of a potentially great experience elsewhere. If you are in any doubt about the validity of my review, then I urge you to find out at your own peril. You will be disappointed!

Service by Dita and Rahima was outstanding. They were very attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the poached eggs were a delight. Atmosphere was buzzy but added to the brunch. Will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and it was fantastic. It was on the quiet side upon arrival but it’s what we would have expected on a Wednesday night. Overall, the atmosphere is really cute and cosy without being too loud or too close to other tables. The food was delicious, we highly recommend the gnocchi! Service was also great. Our servers were super friendly and attentive. It’s a great place that’s in its own quiet nook in Dalston. We will definitely be back for brunch and the Sunday lunch! Great to know that they are also dog friendly!

Came for a Sunday roast and basically there are plenty of places in London you can get much better for the same price. Standards were just a little low across the board: food under seasoned and dry, roast potatoes undercooked, staff a little slow, etc etc. if I could I’d rate 2.5/5. Nothing wrong just nothing good.

We came here without a booking, the staff were incredibly friendly and managed to find us a seat, fairly late in the evening as well. the food was incredible, especially the Gnocchi and the Duck. The service was great, and the staff were very helpful. Great atmosphere, and there was never a feeling of being rushed

Won’t come back. Beautiful restaurant but had a really disappointing Sunday Roast here. We specifically asked how the beef was cooked and were told it would be medium rare. Two at our table ordered the beef - one came medium/well, the other was a couple of overdone pieces of beef which looked like tough offcuts. Sent the worst one back, is was then returned to our table with the staff rudely saying - “the chef assured us this is medium rare”. My friend said she wasn’t happy to eat it like that, so they brought her sirloin instead (they had obviously run out of beef and tried to get away with serving her the overdone end piece). The manager then returned to our table to say to her “you are really lucky to get that sirloin from the chef, he wouldn’t usually do that”. The vegetarian roast had a piece of pork on the plate, the staff did apologise and take this off the bill. Mustard and extra gravy were asked for but never arrived. Wouldn’t return, overpriced and staff act like you are lucky to be there

Had such a brilliant Sunday roast, the quality and size of portions was excellent value which really sets it apart from other roast spots in London. Similarly, we were really impressed with the vegetarian options which clearly had a lot of thought behind them, the ricotta squash wellington was delicious! Enya was also a wonderful waiter and managed to handle 14 of us with humour and efficiency - will definitely be back !

I've been here a few times since 2018/2019 and the service is always great! One of the best brunches in London! Food is fresh and delicious. Service is impeccable. Shout out to our servers Chyna, Leah and Clodagh who were attentive and so friendly!!

Came here for a wedding, was a fantastic venue for it! Lots of space and different rooms for dinner and dance floor. Food was wicked! Good cocktails and great service by the team here. Decor was great, nice outside area also.

We went for a weekend brunch which involves ordering as much as you like off the menu for 2 hours. Also nice you can choose to be on or off the wagon! Food was delicious, felt full for the rest of the day! Nice mix of sweet and savoury and appreciated the veggie options too. Service was very friendly, music was good and not too loud. Overall very nice for an occasion brunch!

Came here for bottomless brunch at the weekend. Overall impressed with the experience. The staff were welcoming and friendly upon arrival. We were seated inside - for some context it was the hottest day of the year that day - where we were sat was just a little bit too warm inside for it to be comfortable (however the outside seating area was so hot that we were still thankful we were inside!) The food was really good and good sized portions, and the bottomless brunch is bottomless food! So we were offered another meal after we’d finished our first, and there were pastries available as well which were made in house and really fresh and tasted great. The drinks tasted quite weak so didn’t leave feeling like I’d drank that much considering I’d ordered plenty of drinks. They also were slow to serve us initially, sat down for our booking at 1230 and didn’t get anything to the table till close to 1pm - booking is for 2 hours but we really got 1.5 and often had to try and get someone’s attention to order drinks rather than them coming over to check on us. Again, overall positive experience and would come here again

Good value for money (portions are large) but it's let down by service. The waiting staff were nice but were clearly more interested in chatting than bringing us drinks/the bill/taking orders.

We came a little later in the day so some of the food was finished -highly recommend getting in there early. However, the service made up for this tenfold. Lovely experience for a Sunday roast! Sticky toffee pudding slaps!! And Vanessa was brilliant; will be back 100%. Thanks.

I came two weeks in a row for the Sunday brunch and I am so pleased. Last time I had steak & eggs while this time I tried the buttermilk fried chicken waffle 😘 Special mention to the lemon tart. Very cool vibe with lovely staff.

Great space. Lovely, well sourced food beautifully cooked. Clever and good value wine list. Really nice and knowledgable staff. Apologies but I think he might have been called Kam - attentive, friendly and did not keep us waiting for drings on arrival - which so many places do! Highly recommended

The food was incredible and the staff were really lovely. My only concern is the staff do NOT get paid the service charge so tip with cash. The boss keeps the money and is basically getting them to work below minimum working wage. Several of the staff were planning to leave because of this.

This week, Jones and Sons hosted 26 of us for dinner and drinks in the private dining area. The service was five stars from start to finish. From the candlelit setting, constantly refilled water jugs to the drool-worthy private dining menu that was very reasonably priced for the high quality, every single person raved about it and left feeling full and satisfied. Lovely place gem in the area best Sunday roast ever. Amazing alacart menu and good prices highly recommended it.

Very disappointing. Cool location, and starters were fine, but there was a 40 min gap for our Sunday dinner to come out with no explanation. Finally received my £25 rib eye and it was cooked through, no pink (wasn't given the option to say how I wanted it cooked, so presumed medium rare). No one came to check how the food was so just left it. Tried everyone else's meat and it was over cooked, and the Yorkshires were rock solid - which after a 40 min wait I guess that makes sense. Complained when they came to take the meal and to be fair they did offer a hefty discount. For premium prices would expect a lot better. Have had it recommended a lot so maybe it was an off day.

We had our wedding reception at Jones & Sons in April and I honestly cannot recommend it more. From the minute we met with the team, we knew we were in safe hands. Chloe was incredible in the lead-up in answering all of our questions and making sure everything ran perfectly. The day ran like a dream with our guests raving about the (incredible) food, drinks, venue and team. Huge thanks to everyone at J&S for the best of days. A few of us went for a Sunday roast to celebrate a birthday, real mixed experience. The food was pretty good, but wasn’t very hot. The service had been good, but then the staff tried to move us on 10 minutes early when we’d been “graciously” allocated a 2 hour slot for 5 people. If you’re going to run your restaurant in slots, don’t try and cheat people out of the time they’re due. Left a bad taste in the mouth.

Celebrated my dad's birthday here and the staff were amazing, so attentive and kind! Sunday Roast portions were very generous, best crackling and the largest yorkies ever. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Very good brunch specialist restaurant in the heart of the trendy Dalston area. Large restaurant with plenty of inside and outside seats and I visited for a friends birthday and a had a table of 14-15 comfortably. The menu was set but there is a la carte too. I had lots of brunch dishes including the advoacado and eggs with an extra bacon. The menu is good with lots of vegetarian options and the drinks were constantly supplied. Overall a good experience and the staff were excellent and keeping the drinks and food coming.

Still a huge fan of jones and sons. £4 supplement felt like quite alot for a piece of chicken and half A waffle however it was so delicious. Personally i preferred the previous Brunch menu as i liked having a few smaller plates but the one friend who did order a burger said it was good. I would still go back. I’m booked in for a roast later this month at the Studio which i’m looking forward to.

I like the place but the reception girls are quite annoying. You have 90min to do your Sunday roast. By min 65 they start coming to ‘remind you’ that you time is up in xx mins. Poor customer experience

Worst food ever. No seasoning whatsoever, one of my colleagues said “It’s like they went out their way to make it taste of nothing.” Left me hungrier than ever.

It's the restaurant from the film "Boiling Point". Very good food, good atmosphere (even on 7th January). Our main server was fine, but for the price they need to train their other staff a bit better. Don't let this put you off going there.

Amazing Private Dining Room booking at Jones and Son's for my 40th Birthday. Chloe was amazing with all the organisation. The space is decorated so well I hardly needed to add anything. The food tasted great and enough bar and dance floor to keep the party going. This is the best private dining / party experience in London. Just need to find another occasion to book again!

Joined friends here for a Christmas dinner, was surprised at how rowdy it was. Gives the impression of being a classy restaurant but football on big screens people standing around drinking like it’s a pub. Food was underwhelming, tired, uninspired, style over substance. Group of lads swanning around the restaurant harassing other customers doing gear in the toilets. Staff seemed overworked and stressed trying to deal with them. Bad vibes all round.

We hosted our work Christmas party in Jones & Sons' private room. We had a delicious 3 course dinner and the staff were so helpful. It was the perfect venue for our company size, which was around 40-50 people. Thanks Jones & Sons!

There was a long (over 40mins) delay when we ordered our food and when it was finally placed, they forgot to put our order through. We had a great waiter who apologised about the delay. But when the food finally arrived my girlfriend's sausages on her Full English was burnt and bacon was overcooked. The ham on the eggs Benedict had charred black pieces and the muffin was hard and stale (I had the same issue on mines and the bread for the avocado was the same as well). Due to the long delay and a large portion of the time taking out from our brunch we had no choice but to only eat part of the meal. There were also issues with our bill where we had been overcharged but luckily one of the waiters rectified this. This use to be a regular go to spot for brunch, I have in the past highly recommended the restaurant to friends and family for the food. But on this occasion, it was a big let-down. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere, where the food will be better. I won’t be returning to this restaurant again.

Fantastic food and friendly service We were 4 adults with a 3 year old child and it was lovely that we didn't feel uncomfortable or like we were putting them out- which can be the case when dining with a little un. We had a new to dinner service waitress and a really funny and friendly waiter- the food was amazing, I'm quite fussy and I was genuinely surprised at how good the food was. The scallops, buratta and sharing steak were great and all the pudding were to die for. Highly recommend Jones & Son Dalston *edit* have been since and service was awful with much smaller portions under cooked

Brilliant all you can eat brunch! We were so happy to find one and the food was delicious and plentiful! The staff were super friendly, attentive and replaced our plates incredibly quickly. If we had the stomach room, we'd definitely go back again

Had the bottomless. Yoguo served us. Great service. Overall had 4 mains and they left the bottle of Prosecco everytime. Good value for money

Stonking Roast! ….well 3 Sundays here and not made it passed the chicken. Great atmosphere, vibe and very friendly service. Will be back again, again and again :)

UPDATE: A year later and still the best roast I've had anywhere in London, all year. Amazing roast, great service, the dessert was spectacular. Honestly, it's hard to find a decent roast these days, for the prices you pay but this was the best I've had out in years.

Spoiler alert: What a surprising evening. The food was amazing although my lamb was a bit rose. The Sauvignon Blanc was to die for, literally. There was this tv chef celebrity which which was cool, but also a hectic happening with a woman having a stroke. At some point something weird even happened to the chef apparently? Apart from the hectic situations: a really good restaurant and amazing food and service. I can't imagine what their Christmas menu and evening would look like.

Nice venue, very poor service. Excited to book this restaurant but very quickly disappointed when it took over twenty five minutes to get any sort of attention to order a drink or bottle of water. Starters were five star but the maIns very average and lacked in flavour. Really wanted to enjoy this restaurant but we were so disappointed and I'm afraid the serving staff had a lot to do with that.

The starters were 5 Star, mains 3 Star, the service unfortunately was 1-2 Star. It's a lovely venue with a great atmosphere but the waiting and bar staff really let the place down.

An incredible experience start to finish - superb quality cocktails, food and service ☺️ The steak was cooked perfectly and the old fashioned was a perfect compliment. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed dinner. Will absolutely be back.

Best Sunday roast by far, great service

Been here several times and the food and service has been top notch however yesterday was a different experience. The food was okay but nothing to compare to last time, just felt like it was all rushed and time wasn't put into the food but it was okay. We paid for our food and advised we wouldn't be paying the discretionary service charge on this occasion. We paid and that was that. My friend noticed that our server and another colleague were talking about us although we couldnt quite catch what was being said. Our server then came back to our table to ask why we decided not to pay the service charge and I said because I can't afford too and to be honest was quite shocked with being asked this question! Its my choice!! Now I think its out of order to ask customers why they are not paying service charge when it is our choice and its discretionary as stated on our bill! It is not a nice feeling to be asked this and I was rather annoyed it had happened and unfortunately killed the vibe for us. He then proceeded to say that its the company's policy to ask to see if their was an issue with the food. If the company would genuinely like have feedback on the food and the customers experience then as a company you should advise your staff to just simply ask that. This waiter that served us was nice and pleasant so my issue is not with him at all and im making that clear. My issue is with the management who make front of house as these questions and put these policies in place and its not cool. I dont think i will be back purely because of this, its was a turn off. Also 47 quid for bottomless brunch is a lot considering your not using fresh orange juice either. Please review this. Just giving feedback!

Shocking service in the courtyard and pretty ropey bloody Mary. As a regular patron, this was the first time I've eaten in the courtyard. It was terrible. Let's just hope this is a one-off problem.

Good food - ceviche was ok and the iberico ham was quite nice. Nice miso cod and also the monkfish was good. Poor wine list and poor service. Tricky to find.

Unbelievable. The food was incredible. It’s a really nice vibe in there. We felt a tad rushed by the waiting staff but I think because we were the first people in there we just had the focus of much more available staff and it likely came from a place of ‘customer service’.

We went as a group of about 12-14 people for a Birthday and wished it were better. The food was meh - everything *could* have been delicious and unique but it ended up being uniquely average. The service wasn't great, not sure if it was due to a shortage of staff, or just lack of attention. They also completely ignored the fact that one person has a severe nut allergy and proceeded to serve him a dish with nuts! The dessert was maybe the most decent part of the meal, but given the price we paid, I'd rather have gone elsewhere. Might still give it another try as a couple or much smaller group.

Le seule bémol est que nous avons la table que pour 2h, et que les 2 seuls horaires de réservation sont 11h et 11h15.

I visited here for the Bottomless Brunch with friends after seeing the Boiling Point film on Netflix. The Brunch food choice is excellent with all the usual choices. They were very generous with the drinks leaving a bottle of prosecco on our table at all times and immediately replacing the bottle when empty, we did not at any point have to ask for a drink. Also you could change your drink choice once during the allotted 2 hours. Friendly staff good service. A fun start to the day, I will return.

BH Sunday Roast - Booked well in advance for 5pm for a table of 6. Have been before and was super excited having recently seen boiling point on netflix too. Sat down, drinks order was taken and then asked about food. We were told that not a single starter was available so settled for some bread.. and no word of a lie.. my lamb roast was in front of me before my cocktail arrived. Must’ve been less than 10 minutes from order to table.. I like fast food but this was too quick. I think the experience of dining is just as important as the food and this had already got off on a bad foot. It felt like we were automatically being rushed and were being dished up the dregs of what was left over as it was now the end of the day. But we hadn’t just walked in - this was pre booked . I appreciate bank holidays and sundays are busy but it’s not the first you’ve catered for BH demand and if you predict from past experience not being able to cater for tables then don’t offer them - it’s made a returning customer think twice next time.
