The Bottomless brunch option is really good, the best I’ve been to. £49 for unlimited food & drink. The waitress serving us was very attentive and was not slow to top up our drinks / bring new bottles of Prosecco. We were also allowed to switch drinks if we wished which was not specified on the deal. The brunch menu is diverse with lots of sweet/savoury options, the food is pretty good for bottomless brunch (£4 supplement for steak or fried chicken).

Such a lovely spot in dalston food is absolutely delicious and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend

Lovely restaurant POOR service- south woodford branch I attended a bottomless brunch on Saturday 28th September 2024 and i must say that its a shame that Your barman ruined our experience. The food was absolutely amazing, the restaurant was beautiful and drinks were okay/ average. I have never been to a more stingy bottomless brunch. The restaurant had 3 tables present (we were one of them) but yet the service was so slow. We had to keep asking to de served. Your barman who we was told was named Sergio kept smirking over at us- im not sure why but his energy was very arrogant and rude! I understand if the restaurant was busy but the other two tables left and we were the only ones there so there was no reason for the service to be non existent. Sergio was constantly on his phone, purposefully ignoring us. Im sure you’re not paying him to stand on his phone. We spent £60 per head to not be served. We were paying for a service that we did not receive. I will however thank Alex our waiter who went behind the bar to serve us some drinks as he could see that we were getting frustrated because our table was neglected. He did try to make sure that we were looked after. The barman kept disappearing whilst we were waiting for our drinks and then said to Alex that ‘we can wait’- wait for what, we were the only table there . I think he was avoiding us. Thank you Alex for trying to provide us with a decent service dispute no help from him colleague.

We had our wedding breakfast and reception here and the service, food, and venue were all amazing. Chloe was a lifesaver helping us to plan everything, and even rearranging our seating plan on the day for us! She was so calm and patient throughout the entire process which really made the whole thing a lot easier for us. The service was faultless, the staff are so friendly, and loads of our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Would whole-heartedly recommend for any event, in fact any meal, any day! 10/10 nothing to improve upon!

We booked for my birthday 🥳 and the staff were amazing!!! Alex looked after us.. he was such a lovely person and so professional… food really lovely! And while waiting for our dinner the chef sent us out a few little appetisers free of charge… a lovely treat,Actually all the staff were fab!!! Love the building!!!! Ambience was fantastic!!!! Will definitely be going back! And Alex brought out a lovely cake with a candle so sweet! Thank you guys for making my birthday special!

We held our wedding at Jones and sons a couple of weeks ago and could not recommend enough. Chloe was amazing start to finish, answering each and all of our queries, prempting questions before we knew we had them, and being an all round problem solver and “yes” person. The food was incredible on the day and complemented by so many of our guests, as was the service provided by the lovely team working on the day. Chloe felt like a friend by the end of the process and I cannot thank her and the team enough. You made our vision come to life and removed as much stress and planning as you possibly could. If you’re on the fence about using jones and sons for your wedding or event - do it!!

South Woodford one open nearly 2 months. Utterly terrible. Waiting nearly 2 hours for one course when place was quiet. ‘Chef didn’t get the ticket for multiple tables’. The owners need to act or it wil be closed in weeks which would be a real shame.

I visited last night and feel it’s the perfect addition to South Woodford! Food was delicious, service amazing - Lily thank you! And overall experience a joy. Will be back very soon!

Special shout out to Chloe O' Brien operations manager who was an absolute legend in helping me organise my sister's birthday celebrations. Her communication was warm, professional and I really felt like she understood how special I wanted the occasion to be for my sister. She was patient, understanding and really did her best to cater to my requests via email. Absolute legend 👏🏽 So onto the actual day...it was a complete success. 14 people for brunch was ALOT. Some off/on the wagon. The wait staff were fabulous 👌🏽 👏🏽. Complete professionals. Warm, funny made everyone feel so special. The food was on point, everyone had more than enough. In addition to this, more than one person remarked and how nice the food was. Drinks were flowing. It was such a good vibe. It was so lovely that everyone in the restaurant joined in when we sang happy birthday to my sister. It made her day. This is why I picked Jones and Son for us to hold this special celebration. My sister and I have loved coming here over the years and the service and food has always been exceptional. My biggest thanks to all the staff and the team behind the scenes 🙌. You made my little sister VERY happy and J & S will continue to hold very special memories for us both.

Fabulous evening at this gem in the area. Fabulous menu; very varied and not too much to choose from,; they have got it just right. The staff were very attentive and it was a very relaxed evening. Great drinks menu too. Can’t wait to return!

After much anticipation we decided to give this place a go and try the Sunday roast. We were excited by the good reviews of the original location but I’m sorry to say that the experience was very disappointing. The asparagus starter was very underwhelming for £10+ and the prawn starter arrived with a nicely coiled hair on the plate. My girlfriend ordered the lamb roast which was chewy and given the price, it was a pretty stingy portion. I had the ribeye option (which seemingly only comes well done) and was also underwhelmed. The staff were pleasant but the service was very slow. We waiting almost 45 mins after the starters to get our mains, with some components warm and others bordering on cold. I hope they take the feedback on board and improve their service as it would be great to have a good roast place in South Woodford!

Dinner on a Friday night and restaurant was busy which was nice. Food was good but lots of hiccups. I had asked if we could pop in for snacks and drinks and was told yes - the snacks menu doesn’t actually exist and the main menu we were given didn’t have 2 out of the 3 dishes that weren’t steak! Ran out of focaccia and was offered 1 slice of sour dough as a replacement (at £5.50) - this was rectified but it took half an hour. Food really was lovely, I would have liked more choice and maybe a couple of other options (like the lunchtime burger for example). Cocktails were delicious. But would really like to shout out to our waiters Michael and Jamal who were totally fab and managed our quibbles with a smile and made the effort make sure we were happy - credit to the restaurant. Really would love for this place to succeed as South Woodford is definitely missing this type of restaurant. We will definitely revisit.

Ate here last night, was a surprise booked by our daughter! She didn’t tell me it was the venue that BBC’s “Boiling point” was filmed at! A fabulous series and restaurant looks exactly the same! This was a fabulous surprise for me! Leaving this asside, ambience, vibe, food and service amazing. Not masses of choice, but we all had various dishes, starters, mains and deserts, and of course, we all tried each others, and everything was utterly on point!! Our waiter in particular was really lovely, welcoming, attentive, and simply had a really lovely way about him, and a total asset to the place! Their coffee, (latte) was utterly superb, amongst the best I’ve had! Really rich, and so creamy (even unsweetened) not at all bitter! Just amazing, I prefer it lava hot, so ask for such, if you are like minded and you will be blown away! But even cooler than I would have liked, it was still utterly superb!! Lastly they were incredibly accommodating, my daughter fancied a dessert not quite on menu, and my son went a little off piste with menu options and they accommodated both beautifully! And the bill, including vat and service, for what we had, was literally just over 2/3 of what I was expecting!!!! Just couldn’t be better people! Keep it up!

Enjoyed the bottomless brunch at Jones and Sons. The atmosphere is pleasant. There is so much choice on the menu and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the french toast, avocado on toast and truffle mushroom on toast. Our server Juli was wonderful and kept the prosecco flowing!

Attended a wedding reception here. The food was incredible! Particularly the Chargrilled Peach, ham and ricotta starter. Fantastic flavours. The servers were also very friendly and attentive. High recommend!

I went with a couple of friends and the service was so quick and attentive and the staff were so friendly! The food was great and the Prosecco flowed what more could you want from a bottomless brunch!

Saturday brunch is just the best!

Great food, service and vibes. I will be coming back here for the bottomless brunch. I do wish they had other options for the bottomless drinks, but all in all great time.

We had a brilliant night last night for a big group dinner. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome, and the food was delicious.

My sons took me there for Mother's Day. The food was absolutely lovely a great choice of food and desserts. Staff were great.

Best bottomless brunch our group has ever had. Who can say no to bottomless food!? Food was great quality and arrived quickly. The staff were immensely attentive and friendly. The bottomless drinks were great and so worth it - which is usually what goes wrong with bottomless brunches, however the bottomless brunch at Jones & Sons was perfect!! Fantastic Sunday roast - one of the best I’ve had in London. Good vibe, bordering on upscale. Delicious sides available too, so you definitively won’t leave hungry.

Bottomless brunch, supposed to be unlimited but only managed to get two drinks and one main and pudding each before the 2 hour limit was up. I remember spending more time trying to get staff’s attention to order or to ask where our drinks/food were and I didn’t really get to catch up with my friends.

Jones & Son is not only an exceptional restaurant, but we also had our wedding here (!) and cannot praise it enough as a wedding venue, too. The food is excellent (guests said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding) the staff are incredible (shout out to Chloe for her amazing skills at organising the day and always being someone we look forward to seeing) and the atmosphere inside is modern, relaxed, and so comfortable. We also come back here to eat regularly (including last night!) and the food never lets us down. We love you, Jones & Sons! (We have about 5 million photos here are just 3!)

2nd visit here...Great Roast Dinners and also I love a place where you can get a side if cauliflower cheese. Also...v good Bloody Mary's. I only got a photo of this as I ate the food too quickly and forgot to take a pic (great sign) 😊

An excellent restaurant, patient staff and above all: fantastic food!

Had our staff xmas dinner here had a great time, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

If you still enjoy dining in the kind of faux-industrial setting of exposed pipework and wiring that was edgy in Soho, New York in the early-90s, then Jones and Sons is definitely a throwback to this vibe. It all feels a little bit over-contrived but the staff were attentive and at least the food was served hot, which is no guarantee in any restaurant these days. We went for the Sunday roast, which was as one would expect, the only remarkable thing being the Yorkshire pudding which was large and doughy, rather more like a savoury muffin than an airy, battery pillow of carbohydrate designed to mop up gravy. Jones and Sons must be doing something right because it is busy and the only duff note was the rather impatient manner in which the waiting staff hurried us off our table for the next group on the production line.

Would highly recommend. Food is delicious and staff are wonderful. We had our Christmas party here of 19 people including children and they were so accommodating and helpful. Service was great. We had a wonderful evening! Thank you.

Outstanding food for the price. We went mid week and was completely empty, which is a shame as the quality of food was exceptional. Service was good with friendly staff.

Service by Dita and Rahima was outstanding. They were very attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the poached eggs were a delight. Atmosphere was buzzy but added to the brunch. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely appalling experience. Firstly, this is not a "bottomless brunch" as advertised - the service is deliberately slow, clumsy and frosty. The aim is to get you to run out of time whilst serving as little as possible, and the best part is when you're informed that the kitchen is closed without any prior indication (our slot was from 11:15 to 1:15, refused further service at 1 pm as the kitchen had already closed at either 12:45 or 1 pm depending on who you believe). Staff were reluctant to approach, even though it was relatively quiet during our visit. The food is very mediocre and portions are measly, with a £4 surcharge for a super chewy steak; no reaction was elicited to the feedback that I had been asked for. "Freshly squeezed" OJ straight from a carton (initially told that they'd run out of OJ", "Grilled peaches" straight out of a tin, and a staff member that considers rinsing their fingers with water for a split second after visiting the loo is adequately hygienic. A total rip-off at £41 per head, and a waste of a potentially great experience elsewhere. If you are in any doubt about the validity of my review, then I urge you to find out at your own peril. You will be disappointed!

2023 December: Revisited - whilst the food was excellent, it's a shame that the service and atmosphere have failed to be maintained. Dined on a Saturday with the main restaurant area fairly quiet/subdued and a private party in the adjoining space (with a DJ enjoying the sound of galloping horses rather than beat matching). Waited about 15 mins before we had to ask to be given a drinks menu. A few of the staff seemed to be disinterested and emptying the bins out in front of the table to be taken out the main front restaurant door is pretty off putting (never seen that before in any restaurant). Service improved a bit as the night went on but overall, it wasn't a great dining experience. 2018: Great dining experience from start to finish. Walking through the door, the place smelt amazing (first sign that the food was going to be really good). Wasn't disappointed - the seasonal dishes were tasty and well executed. Good wine list (enjoyed the organic Rhone). Friendly, attentive staff. We had the set menu which was terrific value for money. Definitely returning

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and it was fantastic. It was on the quiet side upon arrival but it’s what we would have expected on a Wednesday night. Overall, the atmosphere is really cute and cosy without being too loud or too close to other tables. The food was delicious, we highly recommend the gnocchi! Service was also great. Our servers were super friendly and attentive. It’s a great place that’s in its own quiet nook in Dalston. We will definitely be back for brunch and the Sunday lunch! Great to know that they are also dog friendly!

Came for a Sunday roast and basically there are plenty of places in London you can get much better for the same price. Standards were just a little low across the board: food under seasoned and dry, roast potatoes undercooked, staff a little slow, etc etc. if I could I’d rate 2.5/5. Nothing wrong just nothing good.

We came here without a booking, the staff were incredibly friendly and managed to find us a seat, fairly late in the evening as well. the food was incredible, especially the Gnocchi and the Duck. The service was great, and the staff were very helpful. Great atmosphere, and there was never a feeling of being rushed

Won’t come back. Beautiful restaurant but had a really disappointing Sunday Roast here. We specifically asked how the beef was cooked and were told it would be medium rare. Two at our table ordered the beef - one came medium/well, the other was a couple of overdone pieces of beef which looked like tough offcuts. Sent the worst one back, is was then returned to our table with the staff rudely saying - “the chef assured us this is medium rare”. My friend said she wasn’t happy to eat it like that, so they brought her sirloin instead (they had obviously run out of beef and tried to get away with serving her the overdone end piece). The manager then returned to our table to say to her “you are really lucky to get that sirloin from the chef, he wouldn’t usually do that”. The vegetarian roast had a piece of pork on the plate, the staff did apologise and take this off the bill. Mustard and extra gravy were asked for but never arrived. Wouldn’t return, overpriced and staff act like you are lucky to be there

Had such a brilliant Sunday roast, the quality and size of portions was excellent value which really sets it apart from other roast spots in London. Similarly, we were really impressed with the vegetarian options which clearly had a lot of thought behind them, the ricotta squash wellington was delicious! Enya was also a wonderful waiter and managed to handle 14 of us with humour and efficiency - will definitely be back !

I've been here a few times since 2018/2019 and the service is always great! One of the best brunches in London! Food is fresh and delicious. Service is impeccable. Shout out to our servers Chyna, Leah and Clodagh who were attentive and so friendly!!

Came here for a wedding, was a fantastic venue for it! Lots of space and different rooms for dinner and dance floor. Food was wicked! Good cocktails and great service by the team here. Decor was great, nice outside area also.

We went for a weekend brunch which involves ordering as much as you like off the menu for 2 hours. Also nice you can choose to be on or off the wagon! Food was delicious, felt full for the rest of the day! Nice mix of sweet and savoury and appreciated the veggie options too. Service was very friendly, music was good and not too loud. Came here for bottomless brunch at the weekend. Overall impressed with the experience. The staff were welcoming and friendly upon arrival. We were seated inside - for some context it was the hottest day of the year that day - where we were sat was just a little bit too warm inside for it to be comfortable (however the outside seating area was so hot that we were still thankful we were inside!) The food was really good and good sized portions, and the bottomless brunch is bottomless food! So we were offered another meal after we’d finished our first, and there were pastries available as well which were made in house and really fresh and tasted great. The drinks tasted quite weak so didn’t leave feeling like I’d drank that much considering I’d ordered plenty of drinks. They also were slow to serve us initially, sat down for our booking at 1230 and didn’t get anything to the table till close to 1pm - booking is for 2 hours but we really got 1.5 and often had to try and get someone’s attention to order drinks rather than them coming over to check on us. Again, overall positive experience and would come here again

The food was incredible and the staff were really lovely. My only concern is the staff do NOT get paid the service charge so tip with cash. The boss keeps the money and is basically getting them to work below minimum working wage. Several of the staff were planning to leave because of this.

Been going for brunch 3 years in a row. Time for Jones & Sons to update it's brunch menu. Surely the chefs have got some ideas.

This week, Jones and Sons hosted 26 of us for dinner and drinks in the private dining area. The service was five stars from start to finish. From the candlelit setting, constantly refilled water jugs to the drool-worthy private dining menu that was very reasonably priced for the high quality, every single person raved about it and left feeling full and satisfied. Very disappointing. Cool location, and starters were fine, but there was a 40 min gap for our Sunday dinner to come out with no explanation. Finally received my £25 rib eye and it was cooked through, no pink (wasn't given the option to say how I wanted it cooked, so presumed medium rare). No one came to check how the food was so just left it. Tried everyone else's meat and it was over cooked, and the Yorkshires were rock solid - which after a 40 min wait I guess that makes sense. Complained when they came to take the meal and to be fair they did offer a hefty discount. For premium prices would expect a lot better. Have had it recommended a lot so maybe it was an off day.

A few of us went for a Sunday roast to celebrate a birthday, real mixed experience. The food was pretty good, but wasn’t very hot. The service had been good, but then the staff tried to move us on 10 minutes early when we’d been “graciously” allocated a 2 hour slot for 5 people. If you’re going to run your restaurant in slots, don’t try and cheat people out of the time they’re due. Left a bad taste in the mouth.

Celebrated my dad's birthday here and the staff were amazing, so attentive and kind! Sunday Roast portions were very generous, best crackling and the largest yorkies ever. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Very good brunch specialist restaurant in the heart of the trendy Dalston area. Large restaurant with plenty of inside and outside seats and I visited for a friends birthday and a had a table of 14-15 comfortably. The menu was set but there is a la carte too. I had lots of brunch dishes including the advoacado and eggs with an extra bacon. The menu is good with lots of vegetarian options and the drinks were constantly supplied. Overall a good experience and the staff were excellent and keeping the drinks and food coming.

Still a huge fan of jones and sons. £4 supplement felt like quite alot for a piece of chicken and half A waffle however it was so delicious. Personally i preferred the previous Brunch menu as i liked having a few smaller plates but the one friend who did order a burger said it was good. I would still go back. I’m booked in for a roast later this month at the Studio which i’m looking forward to.

I like the place but the reception girls are quite annoying. You have 90min to do your Sunday roast. By min 65 they start coming to ‘remind you’ that you time is up in xx mins. Poor customer experience

Worst food ever. No seasoning whatsoever, one of my colleagues said “It’s like they went out their way to make it taste of nothing.” Left me hungrier than ever.

It's the restaurant from the film "Boiling Point". Very good food, good atmosphere (even on 7th January). Our main server was fine, but for the price they need to train their other staff a bit better. Don't let this put you off going there.

Amazing Private Dining Room booking at Jones and Son's for my 40th Birthday. Chloe was amazing with all the organisation. The space is decorated so well I hardly needed to add anything. The food tasted great and enough bar and dance floor to keep the party going. This is the best private dining / party experience in London. Just need to find another occasion to book again!

Joined friends here for a Christmas dinner, was surprised at how rowdy it was. Gives the impression of being a classy restaurant but football on big screens people standing around drinking like it’s a pub. Food was underwhelming, tired, uninspired, style over substance. Group of lads swanning around the restaurant harassing other customers doing gear in the toilets. Staff seemed overworked and stressed trying to deal with them. Bad vibes all round.

We hosted our work Christmas party in Jones & Sons' private room. We had a delicious 3 course dinner and the staff were so helpful. It was the perfect venue for our company size, which was around 40-50 people. Thanks Jones & Sons!

There was a long (over 40mins) delay when we ordered our food and when it was finally placed, they forgot to put our order through. We had a great waiter who apologised about the delay. But when the food finally arrived my girlfriend's sausages on her Full English was burnt and bacon was overcooked. The ham on the eggs Benedict had charred black pieces and the muffin was hard and stale (I had the same issue on mines and the bread for the avocado was the same as well). Due to the long delay and a large portion of the time taking out from our brunch we had no choice but to only eat part of the meal. There were also issues with our bill where we had been overcharged but luckily one of the waiters rectified this. This use to be a regular go to spot for brunch, I have in the past highly recommended the restaurant to friends and family for the food. But on this occasion, it was a big let-down. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere, where the food will be better. I won’t be returning to this restaurant again.

An absolute gem of a restaurant and one of the best Sunday roasts in London.
