Had a fantastic experience at Izgara Restaurant in Edgware! I ordered the lamb ribs and they were absolutely perfect tender, juicy, and full of flavour. You could really taste the quality and care in the preparation. My friend had the salmon and was just as impressed cooked beautifully with a lovely balance of seasoning. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d return to and highly recommend if you’re looking for well-cooked, delicious grilled dishes.

Absolutely brilliant experience at Bubble Room- Alderley!! I booked the back room (Monkey Lounge) for a bottomless brunch for 23 people to celebrate birth of baby. We all had such a great time all thanks to the staff there. They were so attentive (Especially Elliot who was looking after us) and everyone commented on how good the food was, how great the service was and how smoothly everything ran. I dealt with Ruth and Elliot via email in advance and they did everything they could to ensure the day went to plan as I wanted it. We had the best day and will definitely be booking again for our next event! Thank you Bubble Room!!!

On holiday for a few days. Nice enough place. Below average meal. Fish and chips- fish over cooked. Houmous was horrible never had bad houmus, So didn’t eat it. ( told them it wasn’t very nice but didn’t take it off the bill) Chorizo tapas was beautiful. Mussels for tapas was plentiful but too salty. Ravioli was lovely. Had lemon tart and cherry cheesecake for deserts both lovely flavours but the lemon tart had soft pastry on the bottom. Cherry ice cream was fantastic. I feel that if you choose the right thing , you will enjoy your evening

The Iskele Restaurant & Bar, located on Whitecross Street in London, offers a delightful fusion of traditional Turkish cuisine with a modern twist. During my recent visit, I opted for the 10oz Scottish Sirloin Steak, cooked to a perfect medium. The steak was tender and juicy, showcasing the quality of the meat. Accompanied by crispy, golden chips, the dish was both satisfying and well-executed. To complement my meal, I had a refreshing glass of Coca-Cola. The service throughout was attentive and friendly, with staff ensuring that all needs were promptly met. The restaurant’s ambiance strikes a balance between cozy and energetic, featuring warm lighting and tasteful décor that reflects its Mediterranean roots. This creates an inviting environment suitable for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. The Iskele’s menu is diverse, offering a range of traditional mezes, grilled meats, and seafood dishes. While the steak was a highlight, the menu also features other notable items such as the Adana Kebab and Baklava, which have received praise from other patrons. The restaurant caters to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian and halal options, ensuring a broad appeal. In terms of pricing, The Iskele falls within the mid-range category, offering good value given the quality of food and service. The portion sizes are generous, leaving diners satisfied without being overwhelmed. Overall, my experience at The Iskele Restaurant & Bar was highly enjoyable. The combination of flavorful cuisine, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere makes it a noteworthy destination for those seeking authentic Turkish fare in London.

Dog friendly, that's the reason for the two stars, it's not the food or the service. Scamming the soft drinks, glass of coke/IrnBru was half ice with massive chunks taking up most of the space, that amount of ice is whisper close to trading standards reporting territory at £3.50 for a small glass. Classic Caesar salad was mediocre, the pre-prepped from M&S is much better at half the price, these guys want £12, which is way over priced, adding chicken costs another £6 which is a scandal. Pan seared squid was perfectly cooked, all THREE bits of it, however it came swimming in chilli oil which would be OK if they gave you maybe a slice of dough bread to mop it up, but nope that's an extra £5 again and a bigger scandal than the added chicken. Pricing is comical considering the food is middling and the service is just basic, for these prices I expect my cutlery set for me not handed to me in a paper napkin. Clearly they're trying to capture the Loch Lomond tourism money which which might work in high season but not May. Overall poor value for middling food and basic service, but if that's what you're ok with just go to Wetherspoons and at least get cheap drinks.

The Balti is an excellent restaurant. The staff are very smartly dressed, very welcoming, very polite and friendly. The staff are attentive. The menu is excellent. We ordered our food and it arrived promptly. It was delicious, very tasty and piping hot. I cannot fault it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The number of 5* reviews on here says it all: this restaurant is good, really good. We were looked after from the minute we walked in. Great location, overlooking the beach. Ordered the scampi and triple cooked fries - beautifully arranged on the plate, piping hot and delicious - even the mushy peas, which I'm not usually a fan of. Used to desserts being a bit of an afterthought on restaurant menus but not so here ... I'd say the strudel with cinnamon toffee sauce was even better than the main course - great to look at on the plate and perfect combination of flavours. And all for £20 as part of the midweek set menu. Street parking available and station car park is only a few minutes away.

As a day out in London and everything was really busy I decided to get food from this place. I ordered spicy kebab and the meat was really tough, maybe should have tried something else. For what I paid I dont think it was worth the price. The place could do with some refurbishment that will improve the atmosphere, and cleaning the tables after meals would also be good.

Popped in for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. The interior was bright and airy with full length windows overlooking the outside seating and the river. The restaurant was busy without being crowded and we easily found a table. Menu seemed to be all good home cooking including a pie and soup of the day. We ordered the steak ciabatta and the quiche. Both came with the tastiest fresh salad and fries. Service was prompt and as outlined on the a little about piece on the menu, it was clearly family run by mother/father/son. Very efficiently I might add. Not sure who the chef was, but the quiche was delish and the salad one I would like to recreate! Definitely a good choice and we will be returning!
