Soho House 21 in City of London, Westminster

We were a guest of a friend of ours for dinner. She belonged to the club and we had reservations at 7 PM. We were sat immediately upstairs in the dining room where menus were given to us. It took a bit to get our drink orders, but we ordered a round of cocktails to get started. The waiter came around and suggested we order starters with our entrées as entrées take a while. We agreed and proceeded to order and one of the questions we had when somebody ordered the Seabass we asked what size it came with. He said it came with a garnish. I also asked what came with my pork chops. He said nothing you should order sides. When our entrées arrived, there were side dishes and quite abundant. I don’t know if he didn’t know his own menu or was this as a ploy to get us to order side dishes. The food was good. Everybody enjoyed their meal. We split a sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was yummy. Service was attentive only thing that bothered me as it took them a while to clear the plates. I would say go there if you get a chance, but you have to be invited by a guest.

Nice venue and reasonable prices

One star for the service, I was invited from a member to see and have a good time. The waitor with a small beard replied “eh?” when I pronounced “Rooibos” tea for drinks. Awful attitude! He also interrupted our conversation. He did not have any manner. He had some how unspoken discrimination towards young asian. Hope he is fired. I should have asked his name! The lady staffs were super kind and beautiful.

Hidden gem which has been an amazing way to network while enjoying good quality food and company. This has been my go-to spot for many years and will continue to be!

The private club you need to be a member of? After two visits with members, the conclusion is overwhelming: the staff is deliberately haughty (in their manners as in their dress), the food and cocktails -while not bad- don't deserve to be charged at such rates; the ambiance and decor not so “exclusive”. I've seen better. Much better...

A stunning place with multiple floors, offering a variety of atmospheres to choose from. Perfect for having drinks with friends or enjoying a nice dinner. The food is truly high quality with generous portions. The staff are incredibly friendly! I highly recommend it!

Certainly one of the better Soho Houses, has good atmosphere. Service is hit n miss depending on the waiting staff, some Certainly better than others.

We ordered a Sunday roast. They bought out the meat but after waiting 15 minutes none of the sides had arrived. We asked them to re-do the order as the meat was cold by now and partially eaten. Instead of preparing a new dish they simply reheated the old meat (added a small bit of additional meat to hide the that it had been reheated) and then served it to us as if new. The beaf had been partially eaten before and reheating improperly handled meat poses food safety risks. There was also no way of telling whose roast was who, so we could have been served meat the other person had partially eaten when it first came out- absolutely gross. Reheating meat also makes it tough and overcooked. They admitted to reheating the old meat and eventually re-served us with a discount but wow, what terrible food safety practices.

Called in for drinks and snacks. The weather was lovely so we took a table on the roof terrace, there is no better place to chill in the area.

Soho House, Greek Street changed in the last decade but is now sadly loosing its charm.

It's a really great place, the parties on the rooftop are really great on hot summer nights, but the music is sometimes a hit, sometimes a miss. The space is beautiful and really enjoyable.

Quite a curious place, but they had great staff. Very polite, and always checking on us. A little too strong on the old school decoration for my taste, but should be great if thats your take.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life at Soho House Greek Street. As a member, I expected a certain level of service, but what I encountered was completely unacceptable. I had to cancel my membership after these incidents. Firstly, a staff member asked me for cash to be served at the bar, and I was left waiting for 40 minutes. The staff are always drunk or highly on drugs, making it impossible for them to communicate properly with clients or members. They are disrespectful and act like a nightmare. The final straw was when two managers called me on a Friday evening at 9:30 pm, clearly under the influence themselves, and instead of resolving the matter, they decided to suspend me. This is by far the worst treatment I have ever received at a members' house. I cannot recommend Soho House Greek Street and am deeply disappointed by the entire experience.

Service at every single Soho House is rubbish. Definitely not fit for a members club. Food as well, doesn’t live up at all to the price, very overpriced and generic. The decor and interior is great tho.

I was there earlier this week and was horrified by some of the other guests. The vibe was like children posing as adults. While I asked the staff a question another guest came up and asked another question, such as children do with their parents, just interrupt regardless of what the parents are doing. While a waitress was taking our order another guest came up and started ordering. The waitress had to politely tell the other guest to wait their turn. I’m just a bit surprised by the attitude of the guests. It was not cool, chic or relaxed. It was immature and tacky. While the guests was one problem, the staff wasn't the best either. They just weren't sharp. I guess I'll never be allowed entry again after this review but I guess I wont miss out.

Beautiful place on multiple floors with great outdoors spaces. Service was very average and so was the food. Get there for the vibe, the people and enjoy a good time but don’t expect anything more than that.

Soho21 is the Ryan Air of venues. I went to see an excellent comic last night but the small venue packed in 200 people (the bouncer gave the estimate) and it felt claustrophobic, so spoilt the experience. The plastic seats were so close, there was no leg room. I've never been to the venue previously but I checked out the photos online and thought it looked lovely and I had planned to eat, drink and chill out in the bar and cafe before the show. My show was at 8pm and we were only allowed to entre the venue at 7.45 and had to wait out in the heavy rain for the previous performance to end and the crowd to leave the venue. In addition, the cafe was closed so no chance of any food. I was told there was additional seating downstairs, but this space had been booked for a private function so was off limits to those who payed to see the show. The noise from the party below was audible upstairs. It was also cold. I don't usually fill in reviews but this was exceptionally bad.

It's just another Soho house that is full of people you would expect to be in there. No character and definitely no soul.

As always, an amazing vibe. Great cocktails. Great service. Great ambience. To the uninitiated, you need a Soho House membership (or accompanying member) to enter.

We sat at the upstairs bar and Elizabeth was amazing. She paid so much attention to our vibe and was beautiful in conversation. We asked to speak to her supervisor and a lovely gentleman called Jamal came out and treated us like we’re royalty I cannot believe this experience at Soho House it was amazing and j would ensure that these staff members are noted.

This OG Soho House is no longer as great as it used to be. Super full, subpar food, unreliable service and uncomfortable seating. Still, it's Soho House, and the vibe is amazing. Great for Friday nights (as long as there isn't a line outside!)

I’ve been invited here many times as guest for meetings and whatnot. Service was always okay, drinks were standard, but the food was really bad. Every thing I tried was not on par with what I would expect from Soho House. Any restaurant in Soho would easily top the food they serve here. The place is also always very crowded, it is not easy to find seats anymore.

Not like Old Soho house quality

One of my favourite houses, filled with beautiful people, good menu, lovely rooftop, events, vibe, BUT can get ridiculously busy - not enough toilets.

This house has deteriorated so much over the last couple years. Ive been a member for 7+ years now and i can see how tragically is has changed over the years. From the standard of people they let in, to the service. Drinks are mid, service is bellow average and slow, and the majority of people you see in there aren't even members and are on substances which you can see through their rachet behaviour. Its pretty disgusting and its sad to see. Im considering revoking my membership as its consistently going downhill and embarrassing to be part of.

Not what is was. Pre made picantes. Saturday nights are however fun and they usually have a DJ. Go if there is a group of you & you’re prepared to wait at the bar.

The right place if you hate disabled people, love microwaved food and service that's lower than your average fast-food take away. Let me start off with this place discriminating on people with a disability. Even when you show and explain the RIGHT paperwork for your service dog, they will deny you. Their "membership/ manager Francesca and shquul" seem to bought their education of amazon, other than even looking into it. They didn't wanna speak about it, as they have no knowledge about whatsoever they doing. Their staff says other things than they do, But hey! I forgot as Francesca mentioned they are members club and can make any decision they want, no matter what the UK law says. I mean maybe that explains why they serve alcohol after their 3 am license mark. Let me not even get starting about the poor service, quality of food and other issues. Avoid this place at all times as hygiene level at bottom rate (glasses are not cleaned well either)

Bellissimo club nel cuore di Soho. Un ambiente su più piani, sono entrato come invitato di un socio del club. Fantastica location in terrazza all’ultimo piano, con panorama e servizio Smart ma impeccabile. Ottimi i nostri Sunday roaster i contorni con le birre di accompagnamento . Prezzi un po’ alti ma ci stanno tutti visto il posto.

Very nice venue. Service in the top floor is very good especially at restaurant level, barman area on lower floore less so - sometimes too busy but overall good atmosphere.

Only if I could give zero stars.. I would. Been a member for a bit now, and to be honest the service is terrible. I come here 2-3 a week and spend top money with friends just to receive food that seemed to be made by a microwave and not a chef. Service thats worse than in a takeaway junkfood restaurant. Half of the waiters can’t take your orders, so it takes sometimes ages for you be able to order. Lets not even start about the manager/host who was on the rooftop terrace, who’s a complete rude individual. He wanted to be acting all cool and getting rude, denying under 27 discount and kept staring at us (famous or not famous) he made us not feel comfortable in an environment thats supposed to be private.

Guter Service, leckeres Essen und tolle Drinks. Das Personal war zwar etwas überfordert, aber trotzdem freundlich und bemüht. Die Atmosphäre und die Musik waren top. Empfehlenswert und angenehm gemischtes Publikum.

We had a private dinner room booked for a party of 8. We were looked after by Laura, who was an amazing host. Great service, and the food was quick and beautiful

Atrocious. Coffee was the worst flat white in London. So much for a "coffee consultant" which they pride themselves on. Toast shoved on a tiny plate. Not even toasted and butter that is hard as a rock.

Not a good experience. Turned up and sat down at 6pm, took until 6.31 to order a drink and then another 20 minutes to get a diet coke and a glass of wine. Every time we asked or tried to get the staff's attention we were told "just one minute" then nobody ever came back. Needed to chase down the waitress to get the bill and pay. 2 stars because the chips were very nice. Just go to a pub.

Lovely ambiance. Staff amazing. The whole atmosphere was electric thanks to my daughter for this lovely invitation to join her including her sister.

Came as a guest, but was a great time. Always enjoy coming here with friends and looking to become a member.

New menu is boring and disappointing and bland. Great atmosphere and place as always, but last three dinners were very disappointing. New menu on the 2nd floor is very uninspiring and except for the artichoke starter, everything there was mediocre. From the other menus, the fried chicken burger was worse that what you get at KFC, never mind some of the better places. The pork with lentils is boring, dry and lacks flavour. The normal burger is just passable. Not sure what’s happened over last three weeks but food quality and options has decreased dramatically.

What a fun spot. Lots of energy and cozy layout. Good food.

Very disappointing. Below average food. A simple ragout was just heavy, lacked seasoning and spiciness. Stick toffee pudding was not sticky and loveless. Slow and poor service - half of us received our plates late, the other half even later. Staff couldn't care less. All of this for over £60 per person, on a Monday. Never again.

Unfortunately very poor service yesterday. It was very busy (took about an hour to find a table for 3 inside), but there were multiple staff serving in our area, so I had hoped for better service when we eventually sat down. It took about 15-20 minutes for our table to be cleared from the previous people sitting there, about half an hour to get menus and tap water (which we had to remind them about), and about an hour from when we sat down to actually order, which we had to ask to do twice before anyone actually took our order. We ordered bread and olives for the wait, as we were very hungry by this point, and had to remind the servers about 3 times. We ended up getting olives but the bread only arrived after our mains were served, at which point we didn't need it any more. Food was ok, good for the price considering it's 50% off on Sunday evenings, but I'd be very disappointed if I had paid full price and the 12.5% service charge. Sadly, not the service expected.

Very nice ambience, fun and cool to say the least - quite diverse crowds which makes every visit interesting!

I appreciate their interior design and the whole concept. However I can't wrap my head around the smell of elite obsessed people who would not leave you alone. I prefer the Soho House in New York more than the one in London anyway however, the title hungry, fake and new rich mannerisms always make me leave the Soho Houses in London with a bitter aftertaste. Must tries: Their Tiramisu and house cocktail "Picante"

Relaxed Sunday lunch on the roof

Went for drinks with friends in a chilled out space. Staff incredibly friendly, service was hit and miss depending on where we were in the building.

Saw a mouse on the top floor restaurant whilst having dinner last night. The waitress and manager were extremely nonchalant, unbothered and very unprofessional when we informed them and were totally aware of the pest issue. The manager told me there are “two mice that come out when it is less busy and they tried to get pest control to exterminate them but the mice were hiding”… Should be shut down immediately until the pest problem is resolved. I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. Awful experience.

My friend is a member here & was over from the states and she invited me. First of all, I found the receptionist rude. We waited for a table at the terramce for over 30 minuites. We finally got a table, then it took ages to get a menu. We ordered drinks and water. The drinks came out wrong, we didn't get the water. We ordered pizza and a salad which I'm sorry to say were just very basic. Needless to say, I'm not impressed, I won't be coming back.

Worst place ever! People at welcome fest are the rudest. You go there to have a great time with your friends but you end up having the worst experience at the ‘welcome desk’ The taf was laughing at us. Who the F they think they are. Is this a member club ?

Rubbish experience. Staff are not very welcoming and quiet vacant when we had to constantly remind them to order our drinks/food. Food took ages and arrived cold. Nobody was served together. Would not recommend this place. Just because it’s a members club does this warrant poor hospitality and mediocre food..

Great atmosphere and the food was delicious however the service is very poor, an eye roll from reception when asking to put jackets in the cloak room and taking around 30 minutes to get the bill at dinner. Classic Soho House behavior!
