My first time trying Georgian food but really delicious overall. Staff was very kind and helpful when placing order. Service was overall very good though we were largely left alone and probably would have ordered more drinks/food otherwise. Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely be back.

Lovely experience! The food was excellent and although extremely busy the service was fantastic! The mezze starter was so tasty with the little salads and the cheesy bread was so moreish. I had the poussin with garlic , walnut and pecan sauce with rice which was really delicious and also the veal stew which was a special which was deep and rich with flavour. Definitely recommend!!!

Excellent experience at this beautiful restaurant. We visited as a reminder of our visit to Georgia a few years ago and we weren’t disappointed. The service was fantastic, really welcoming and warm from all of the staff. The perfect balance of attentive but also gave us our space to enjoy the meal. Came here a couple of weeks ago for a birthday dinner. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was good, we were sat in a cozy little corner under a window of our choosing. The food was incredibly filling and the wine was lovely - we ordered nigvziani badrijani (which I keep thinking about!), the Little Georgia special khachapuri, and the meat khinkali. We had a glass of mukuzani each. They also brought out a little dessert for my birthday which was kind! We spent a good couple hours here, and left happy and full - we actually wound up taking home leftovers, so keep that in mind! It was a great first experience for us with Georgian food, and I'd be keen to try it again.

As someone who's ordered Georgian food only a couple of times, I took a punt and ordered from here. I was NOT disappointed. The food took a while as advertised, but could not fault it and, infact, got something extra I didn't order too! AMAZING food. Truly happy and I will be ordering again, and at some point visiting the restaurant!! highly reccomend giving this place a go!

I really liked it. My only issues were that the bread that came with my main course was extremely white and cakey (like brioche) and I would prefer something more wholemeal or sourdough. Also the oil in the stew just tasted like cheap sunflower oil and a higher quality of oil (maybe even walnut oil or even Kakhetian sunflower oil) would have been nicer. But overall it was great and I will definitely go back.

People keep asking me how I’d describe Georgian food. To me it’s winter Mediterranean cuisine with Eastern European influences. It’s hearty, flavourful and it’s filling. It’s got root vegetables, delicious bread bakes and lots of sauces. Follow the restaurants recommendations. It feels like a family run business and I love that.

I’m a big fan of Georgian food and love seeking out Georgian restaurants wherever I go. During a recent short trip to London, I had about three hours to spare and found one nearby. Without a reservation, I took a chance and was lucky enough to get a table for 1 hour and 20 minutes. As soon as I sat down, I was struck by the beautiful decor—filled with vintage Georgian posters, nostalgic memorabilia, and warm lighting that created a lively yet pleasantly calm atmosphere. I asked the kind waitress about the posters and the films they represented, and she enthusiastically shared detailed stories about each, appreciating my interest in Georgia. I decided to order the house’s version of Khachapuri Adjaruli, which was delightful. While finishing my coffee and soaking in the ambiance, another waiter approached me with a polite, apologetic smile. There had been a reservation mix-up, and the next guests had already arrived. Having worked in the restaurant business myself, I reassured them that I understood and was just about finished anyway. The staff’s warmth, respectfulness, and care made such an impression on me that, if they’d asked, I would have gladly rolled up my sleeves and helped in the kitchen. Before I left, I gave them my contact, hoping they could help me find more Georgian memorabilia like theirs. But honestly, I would have preferred to stay, befriend them, and savor more of those small, beautiful moments that life is truly made of. Update: Two weeks later, I returned—this time with a friend and a reservation—and we were able to savor every moment. Every bite of the delicious food we ordered, every word of our delightful conversation with Sando (who was on duty that day), every sip of the exquisite wine he recommended, and every detail of the Gesamtkonzept—the œuvre d'art crafted by the interior designers within these cozy four walls—was pure joy. Yet, the most heartwarming surprise awaited me: I was gifted a stunning book, Supra, written by the owner Tiko herself. You truly can't grasp the essence of Gastfreundschaft until you've experienced it in (little) Georgia. Trust me, you won't regret it!

I'm in 2 minds whether I would recommend this place. It is very popular and indeed food is good although not mind blowing. Their cheese and bread starter is great and I was happy with my trout main. However, it is one of those places where you feel you're just a number and time is precious. 10 minutes before your 2 h reservation comes to end , you're reminded you have to leave. Service is ok but nothing special. Nobody ever came up to ask if our food was fine. I was shocked to discover that my beer cost over 9 pounds. There is a service charge as well. Nice Georgian place and lovely decor but not really a place to relax.

This place has been on my list for a very long time ever since I got it as a recommendation from a work colleague and I was really happy that I finally got to try it with a friend on a Tuesday night. We made a reservation in advance and it was good that we did because it did get filled up after 7:30pm even though it was a week day. We went with the khachapuri (cheese bread) and some salad mezze, as well as the traditional khinkali dumplings. The bread was baked fresh on order but we didn't have to wait long before it was served with the salad together and it's indeed so fluffy and soft. The staff told us to mix the egg with the cheese before eating and it's fun to dip the bread into the filling which was so rich and creamy and super moreish. The salads were all super refreshing and savoury. Went super well with the bread on the side. The dumplings were so huge and rather thick, unlike east Asian dumplings that we are used to eating which was a good cultural experience in itself. But it did get too filling halfway through because of how much dough there was compared to the filling ratio so we got really stuffed in the end but ofc we finished everything off! The beef filling in the dumplings was well-marinated and tender which felt like a comfort food for me as someone from a Chinese cultural background growing up eating lots of dumplings. Service was great. The staff explained clearly to us how to order and was friendly to teach us how to eat the cheese bread. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice and quite romantic so it's definitely a good dating spot. It's also very spacious between tables so we didn't feel like we were crammed and that our conversations would be overheard and it's not noisy at all. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and I would like to come back soon and try their stew next time.

Just a short walk from Angel tube station, Little Georgia is a true culinary gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance is a perfect blend of chic sophistication and cozy warmth, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels both intimate and lively. From the moment we were greeted by the friendly staff, the service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, (a special thank you to George who made the whole experience absolutely amazing, he is very friendly and attentive, he reccomended the best dishes). The menu, a carefully curated selection of innovative dishes, showcases both bold flavors and fresh ingredients, and each bite was an explosion of taste. The slow-roasted pork was succulent and perfectly seasoned. The chef’s attention to detail was evident in every dish. For dessert, the honey cake was a highlight—rich, indulgent, perfect. Every course was a testament to the chef’s creativity and skill. The wine complemented the meal perfectly. Little Georgia is not just a meal, it’s an experience, where the passion for food and hospitality shines through in every detail. Whether for a special occasion or a casual night out, this place is an absolute must-visit.

What a fabulous little restaurant. I visited with my son, who had an interest in trying authentic Georgian food after making Georgian cheese bread at school. We had the cheese bread to start. It was delicious, I would definitely recommed. My son had the kinkali for his main and I tried the pork kebab. The portions were generous and food was really tasty. I also tried a glass of the amber wine. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and it gave it a good atmosphere. Service was very good. Come for cheese bread and dumplings! I've never had Georgian food, but my experience from this made me want to try it more. We got a sharing plate, a cheese bread, and a bean bread for starters. I would have eaten 3 cheese breads on my own. We also tried Georgian wine... I was not impressed. For mains, we got a mix of soups, chicken, and dumplings. My favorites were the chicken and the dumplings. The chicken was charred on the outside, but soft on the inside.

Just go here, try it and you may become a regular. We took a chance and booked it with friends on a Wednesday night and it felt like we had uncovered a real gem. Homey, welcoming, interesting decor. But the real "gem" is the food. So unique in flavour profile, carefully and traditionally prepared with obvious pride. The traditional bread (cheese version) is worth the 15 preparation time. I suggest ordering it as soon as you sit down. The beef stew, remarkable. The chicken in a walnut creamy sauce was brilliant. The gluten-free "cornbread with bean spread" was fought over at our table it was so good. Everyone who was not Gluten-free raved on and on about the dumplings. Starters, mains and two bottles of wine £200 for the four of us. Very good Georgian Wine choices were a bonus

Dined here 6 weeks ago for a dinner date with my partner. Arrived 15 mins early, and met with a cold welcome saying they weren’t open yet but let us sit in anyway. No physical menu, and online menu was confusing and unclear due to small text and formatting. I’m gluten intolerant and it wasn’t clear that the GF khachapuri was only in one flavour, and wait staff did not inform us differently - therefore we were charged for items we didn’t want due to the menu being unclear. Also some dishes ordered weren’t brought to the table at all and to top it off there was a hefty (around 10%) service charge which was unjustified given the multiple mix ups. Food was great and well presented but service issues tainted the experience.

At the end, we were offered dessert and a bottle of wine again, but we were full and asked to add 1 dish, which we practically didn’t touch (tasty and filling). And then they simply kicked us out, abruptly removed everything from the table, but did not snatch the glasses of wine from our hands with wine in them (and thank you for that), they put a bag of food in the center of the table, they again told us to clear the table, there was no wine yet It was finished. And for the third time, a cafe employee came up to us and for the third time told us to leave because other people were waiting, although the tables in the restaurant were always freed up. While getting dressed, we finished our wine and were gone. It was very strange. Still, it is not the visitors’ fault that the manager did not calculate the table reservation time and there was an overlap. Although there were enough empty tables in the establishment. In general, some kind of inhospitable game.

We had a beautiful meal at Little Georgia last night and I can't recommend it enough. We sat at table 6 and had a great sense of the atmosphere in the restaurant - our servers were all so kind and gracious, and told us all the details about which dishes were classically Georgian and which were their favourites. We tried both their pear and tarragon lemonades which were great, the dumplings were delicious, the mezze 10/10 - even the chips were great! But perhaps a highlight was the walnut honey cake. We're going back for sure.

I was at Little Georgia Islington today, at table 8. The experience was fantastic: from the moment we walked in, they welcomed us warmly, even though the restaurant was full and there were no bookings. The food is delicious: everything is prepared in the restaurant including the bread. The seasoning is excellent, it makes you leave London straight for Georgia. Authentic food, extremely friendly staff, restaurant decorated with posters of classic Georgian films. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to savour authentic Georgian cuisine. The wine list is vast, but I opted for a Georgian beer to get to know it. It was my first time here and it certainly won't be my last. The prices are fair for the quality, service and atmosphere.

Visited lots of restaurants in Georgia. Also ate tons of home cooked meals there) I’m not coming back, neither is my husband. Won’t say anything else. The service is great and so is the atmosphere. But the foods are London-adapted, let’s keep it this way. For Georgian food travel to Georgia 🇬🇪❤️ Update: I see there’s a reply from the restaurant, pointing out to me not being Georgian. Yeah, I’m not Georgian, my husband is. In fact he’s the one who tried most of the dishes and was not particularly happy. I’m glad his mom wasn’t there, she would be so upset. Also blaming customers for not being satisfied is hardly the best way of handling things. Nobody comes to a restaurant to write a bad review afterwards (may be some corrupted people from rival restaurants, but they don’t have to visit, they can just write whatever they want). Think about this. I do wish you best of luck 🤞

Excellent food and presentation. I am a fussy eater and I have pretty much stuck to the same fish and chip shop for years. 'The Chippy on the corner' was recommended to me so I thought i'd try them. I ordered a jumbo sausage, fried chicken and chips. The food arrived in neat boxes, well presented and wrapped up. They gave me a huge portion of chips and the food was delicious. There were no hard crusty chips at the bottom of the box. The food tasted fresh and well cooked. Only thing that is disappointing is that I wanted to order their burger without cheese, there is no option on Deliveroo.

Disfrutamos del menú del curso aquí. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Combinaciones de sabores geniales que son un cambio refrescante en la escena gastronómica de Londres.
