Just had lunch at The weaving shed with a friend, first time visit.. We both had Beef & Stilton pie, chips peas and gravy! The pies were homemade and absolutely delicious, the staff were friendly and chatty.. also beautiful dog lily… will 100% visit again, maybe in the summer so can sit outside and enjoy the view..

It was good to see a limited menu - usually a good sign for a restaurant but unfortunately we were rather disappointed. The menu looked good with a range of mainly fish dishes (hence Bait and Plate) but it didn't quite work for us. Monkfish scampi looked good but the taste of the fish was rather overpowered by the coating. Similarly salt and pepper squid taste overpowered by the coating and overcooked (or maybe old oil?). Empanadas tasted nice but frankly the filling could have been anything - no taste of the advertised swordfish. We did enjoy the samphire side and the affogato dessert. We would really like to be able to support this innovative restaurant which has a nice ambience, great decor and great location - but perhaps you are over-complicating good ingredients? Drink prices we found very reasonable.

This is our all time favourite restaurant we are made so welcome by all the team led by Jozsef the front of house Manager who has become a true friend and who is genuinely interested in making every visit an enjoyable experience. The food cooked by Rich and Tasha is lovely with exquisite presentation. We are so privileged to have such a friendly place to call our local restaurant, which we highly recommend you try.

The Weaving Shed out did itself on New Year’s Eve last week, we had a stunning 7 course meal. Such amazing imagination and execution. The addition of the lovely pianist and with their usual high standard of service the whole thing was a brilliant evening.

We chose this restaurant for a celebration event: a New Year's Eve special tasting menu with paired wines. It was fabulous. The canapes and main courses were tasty, elegantly presented and were unusual takes on different fresh fish and seafood. The desserts were beautiful. We were served professionally and attentively. There was even a pianist playing throughout. Obviously this was not the normal menu but I would be keen to return for either a normal meal or another special. A class act, not overpriced for the quality.

My partner and I came on New Years Eve for their tasting menu and enjoyed absolutely exquisite food perfectly paired with a wine flight, and beautiful piano music in the background. Service was genuinely excellent, attentive without being overbearing, and we had a fantastic evening and left full of delicious seafood - there was not a single course that we didn't enjoy or felt let it down. It was more money than we would typically spend on a meal out but definitely worth the price. The only thing that was a shame is that they were fairly quiet for such a big occasion: people are missing out! We would definitely return.

Stopped off from shopping to sit in the sun and share some food with a friend - absolutely amazing. The staff were attentive (even though we were the only one's sitting outside and the other guests were in an almost full restaurant) and the food was amazing. We shared scallops (cooked to perfection), crab scones (small but delicious) and triple cooked homemade chips with truffle mayo and parmesan - the flavours exploded! I have visited The Weaving Shed many times over the years but this was by far the best - will be back very soon.

My first and last visit to this restaurant this was for a family treat one of us had the beef roast should have known it would not be good as we waited to be severd I noticed that the roast potatoes had been sitting in a bowl and the beef sat on the side when the meal was served most items were cold or at best lukewarm potatoes were rock hard as was the parsnip beef totally tastless brown water for gravy no taste as for the other meals especially the children meals were tiny ant at the prices they are charging £8 for a small bowl of pasta £19 for a roast did not complain at the time did not want to upset family I do realise costs have gone up and I don't mind paying for quality but this was serenely not

The Weaving Shed has recently revamped itself as a seafood restaurant but still does brunches and Sunday lunches. I had brunch there with friends recently but the portions were disappointingly small for the price and the service was very slow (although to be fair they were very busy). I had the smoked haddock fishcake. It certainly had a nice smack of fishiness, but the cake itself was overcooked, and very small. Paired with a small heap of lentils and one fried egg, it didn't make for a very substantial meal for £10.50. I'm basing this review on my own experience, but again, to be fair, my friend was very happy with her Halloumi and Mushroom Melt. The Mimosas seemed quite reasonable at £6.50. It was packed, which says something. But personally, I like to eat the sort of brunch that ensures you don't need to eat anything else for the rest of the day. The portions here were too delicate and small for me.

We popped to Bourton for the day and stumbled across this cafe / restaurant and decided to pop in for a coffee and some light lunch. Once seated we ordered drinks and they handed me a one page menu…(transpires it was a special Fish weekend) The menu was interesting but a little limited however we decided to give it a go. The waiter was excellent and talked us through the menu and we selected 4 small dishes and some hand caught scallops. Obviously this was not a cheap lunch but the quality and the presentation were amazing and the crab Custard with sourdough bread was certainly a highlight. Highly recommend and what a great idea albeit maybe a little more marketing needed.

A lovely relaxed spot on the river side in Bradford on Avon with views of the bridge. It's a large modern restaurant with an open kitchen and outdoor terrace. Aangeschoven voor de lunch. Alles ziet er modern en schoon uit. Ook een mooie open keuken. Gestart met chicken bites. Vierkante gefrituurde kroketjes. Smaakte prima.

I really wanted to enjoy our brunch/Lunch at The Weaving Shed but it was far from mediocre. We were greeted by a very half hearted man who informed he could probably squeeze us in (like he was doing us a favour) and then made us wait whilst he served food elsewhere. We then sat down to be told they were no long serving brunch (with 20 minutes still to go on their cut off point) and handed the lunch menus. After some time, another half hearted waitress took our drinks order and another long wait came back to serve said drinks order and take our order for food.. the menu looked interesting and we ordered.. waited not too long for the food to arrive but I can only say I was sorely disappointed.. the ‘small plate’ meals were minute.. and arrived in a bowl that was impossible to eat from which had a surface you could’ve filed your nails on.. thankfully we had ordered a side of fries but again, a tiny portion was served. I am not in any way a big eater but I left feeling very hungry and annoyed that the poor service, mediocre small portions and scratch crockery had all built up to make me decide I would not return. A £100+ meal for 4 people who were all hungry when arriving home would not make me want to return any time soon but thankfully BOA has plenty of other eateries to choose from.

Had a fantastic meal here with the husband. Apart from Bradford being the worst place ever to park, it was a lovely lunch. We decided to go here after reading reviews and the food looked very good. Not disappointed at all. Managed to park about 5 minute walk away, and it was worth it. I went for the kimchi fritters and the haddock and chips - both were absolutely delicious. If I could give one tiny criticism, the batter on the fish felt like it could have had a little more seasoning, but that's a personal thing, and why it's on every table. The venue is light, airy and spacious with a fantastic view of the open kitchen if you sit indoors, as we did. Also has a large outdoor space, next to the river. Busy Sunday morning but restaurant was under resourced and we waited 40 minutes after ordering to be then served with cold hot food . Disappointing overall experience. Manager apologised for poor service and food quality. Also we were served one portion of food we didn’t...

We have been to eat here many time's over the years, which have been good, this time was not a good experience, Friday 18th October, 4.30pm . The place was not busy when arrived, got seated, ordered food, when food came, it looked good but all was lukewarm, loaded chips very salty so didn’t eat all, tried to get waiting staff attention with no joy staff members standing together chatting(male staff) except for two young girls who seemed to be doing all the work. We did not get checked on which is not good, problem with food could have been corrected. Tips: Most people will be happy to wait an extra 15 mins to have hot food. Staff need to work as team. Check on your customers.

Pretty mediocre, and hard to find tucked away behind the Holiday Inn.

The pancake house can get very busy and is very popular definitely book to avoid disappointment. Pancakes are nice and fluffy and filling we have never come away disappointed. The price is quite expensive but if you’re here you know that it’s not a cheap place.

My sister and I enjoyed a very nice pre theatre meal at this beautiful historic pub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a reasonably priced, well portioned meal. The chef offered extra choice for vegetarian. An error to our order was quickly recognised and rectified. I recommend this lovely pub. The food was delicious, service good, and drinks great.
