Severely overpriced, especially considering the quality of the food. The risotto was overcooked and soggy, the burger was alright but so disproportionately heated that my partner burned her mouth once she bit into the patty. The staff were perfectly polite, but all looked tired, avoided each other and looked like they didn't want to be there, music was barely audible, the atmosphere overall was nonexistent. In short: very low quality severely overpriced diner vibes. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lovely intimate place, amazing food and great service.

Went for a midweek meal, our first at Istanblue. The food was fantastic - even the early bird menu had tonnes of choice. I had the Iskender and it was so good. The decor and ambience of the restaurant is also really lovely, and service was excellent. Will definitely be back!

Had an excellent meal. Mezze was so flavoursome. Staff were very polite and atmosphere was fun and not stuffy. Recommend!

Travelling from Yorkshire to fly out of Stanstead on our annual holiday we were looking for somewhere to enjoy a nice relaxing meal before checking in. We made a reservation at the Pig and Truffle and we were very impressed with our experience. The staff were extremely accommodating and despite a quiet day, due to the England final we were catered for and cared for with a very impressive meal that was truly delicious. Thank you ever so much for a thoroughly enjoyable meal in a lovely setting with excellent service.

Always a good experience. The food is delicious and well presented with good portion sizes. Reasonably priced for such good quality 👌 I had a prawn cocktail (massive prawns) for starters this time, and the chicken fajita for main, no room for a pudding. It's always one of my go-to places, where you know the food will always be good.

We loved this resturant! Me and my husband were in Scotland for my birthday and went here for my birthday dinner while we were staying in Glencoe. The food was great and the staff was super friendly! We hope to return here one day!

My wife and myself visited for a meal and drinks to cellerbrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. Harry served us drinks and took our order. I did mention that I had certain allergies and was dairy and lactose free, so he spent quite a bit of time making sure that what ever I ordered was appropriate for my diet and even came back to tell me that he'd spoken to the chef and it was suggested that I change one item, just to play extra safe, which I very much appreciated. Our starters and main courses were cooked to perfection and our deserts followed on, completeing the perfect celebration and hence all I can give Harry and he's team is nothing short of the perfect afternoon which we will remember for a very long time. Five of us had Mother's day lunch today, the food was awful, we waited forever to be served, there was no sauce served with the roast, the mains arrived eventually before the starter.... The waiting staff had no idea what they were doing and I definitely would not go there again!!!

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. We asked for breakfast to be served earlier as we needed to get on the road, and they happily followed through. The rooms are very modern and lovely. We were there for a wedding and the gardens we were very well manicured and clean. Great stop over between Belfast and Dublin for one or two nights. At breakfast, our host brought us warm, fresh Croissants!!

Nuestra primera visita aquí, y no nos decepcionó. Con menos de 20 asientos, el restaurante en sí es bastante compacto, (bueno ver todas las mesas ocupadas) con una pequeña cocina abierta (casi lo suficientemente grande para dos chefs). Aquí todo se trata de sabor, con cada plato - desde el bocadillo de tartaleta de champiñones, hasta la gota de gel de limón en el chocolate blanco fudge petit four - que ofrece un gran estilo: realmente se puede probar cada elemento en el plato. Me encantaría obtener la receta para el entrante de papa. Cuánto cuesta algo es, obviamente, increíblemente subjetivo, pero para mí diría que fue muy buena relación calidad-precio: no es frecuente ver un Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc a los diez años una copa en un restaurante de alta cocina. Si bien Salt no alcanza la sofisticación y el nivel de refinamiento y precisión de algunos otros restaurantes que hemos visitado en los últimos meses, se destaca en el frente del sabor, y por esa razón, definitivamente volveremos a visitarlo.

Great menu and lively specials, food was lovely (top quality at normal prices), great for kids with kids made pizza!!! Lovely restaurant and setting (right on the sea). Highly recommend.
