We ordered meat, it was tough. Vegetables are overcooked. There was too much cheese in the khachapur on the skewer. Iberia on Pimlico is much better.

Teniendo en cuenta que nos encanta la comida georgiana y tenemos un montón de amigos georgianos, yo diría que fue una muy buena experiencia, aunque en casa - comida hecha siempre son "especiales". El lado positivo: Iberia realmente sirve a las recepciones "locales" a las que estamos acostumbrados. . . Personal muy servicial.

It is certainly not a hospitality you expect to see from Georgian people. Shame on you! The unprofessional attitude of staff ruined the dinner, despite good food. The host did not want to give us a table at 7.45pm (!), although the restaurant is closing at 9pm. We literally had to persuade them that we would manage to finish everything on time. At 8.35pm we finished with food and I asked for another glass of Saperavi, and the host said that: ‘I don’t think you’ll manage to drink it in 10 minutes’. Can you imagine? Georgian people refused to pour me a glass of wine. For those who know Georgians it sounds like a joke. I never felt so unwelcome at the restaurant and the staff did everything to get rid of us as quickly as possible. My Hungarian friend was just shocked to see this kind of attitude. And it is definitely not normal, neither in general nor for Georgians, in particular. To be fair, though, the food was nice. Change your attitude to guests! You can not treat them as if they just annoy you when they come. Wouldn’t recommend it.

La actitud poco profesional del personal arruinó la cena, a pesar de la buena comida. El anfitrión no quería darnos una mesa a las 7. 45 pm (! ) , aunque el restaurante cierra a las 9 pm. Literalmente tuvimos que persuadirlos de que lograríamos terminar todo a tiempo. A las 8. 35 pm terminamos con la comida y pedí otra copa de Saperavi, y el anfitrión dijo que: – No creo que puedas beberlo en 10 minutos. ¿Te imaginas? Los georgianos se negaron a servirme una copa de vino. Para aquellos que conocen a los georgianos suena como una broma. Nunca me sentí tan desagradable en el restaurante y el personal hizo todo lo posible para deshacerse de nosotros lo más rápido posible. Mi amigo húngaro se sorprendió al ver este tipo de actitud. Y definitivamente no es normal, ni en general ni para los georgianos, en particular. Para ser justos, sin embargo, la comida era agradable. ¡Cambia tu actitud hacia los huéspedes! No puedes tratarlos como si te molestaran cuando vienen. No lo recomendaría.

Visité Iberia para una comida de trabajo de Navidad y fue fantástico. Pedimos desde el menú establecido que era de precio razonable, pero también tenía buenas opciones. La comida era deliciosa, era mi primera vez probando comida georgiana y sin duda lo buscaría en el futuro. El entrante (pan de queso) era MUY lleno, así que tuve que dejar de comer demasiado de eso. Creo que probablemente teníamos más de 20 personas en nuestra fiesta, y el restaurante hizo un trabajo extremadamente bueno de servirnos a todos rápidamente (sin pre-pedir nuestra comida) y nadie se sentó a esperar. El personal era genial también.

This was my second visit to one of my favourite finds this year. A warm and cosy local business offering homemade Georgian dishes. My top recommendation is the Ostri with walnuts – the aroma and flavour are simply incredible. Prices are fair for the quality, and the service is both friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

We did a late night dinner at this place. The staff were friendly and helpful. We wanted the Full Trout Georgian style, but were told that it'll take time. So went for the Chicken curry and Bean Georgian style instead. In drinks we opened for Smirnoff vodka and Georgian beer.

Google indicated that the restaurant is open all day. However, we travelled for two hours and arrived around 3 PM, only to find the restaurant closed! It would be helpful to update your hours so that people don't waste their time coming when you're not open.

This cute and local Georgian restaurant is serving some seriously good food. The menu is very traditional, service is very friendly and kind and the vibe is very homy and cosy. The wine was also a surprise, really nice orange wine with a decent price. And food god it was so excited very frash and tasty,l love ostri with walnuts I would recommend the traditional Georgian bread with cheese and egg ! The garlic chicken was our preferred and also the honey cake Thank you really really nice !!!

A complete disaster. It is sad, I had been 3 times before and, although the service was never great, I always enjoyed the food. However, this time was a disaster. I booked a table for 5. They put us on only 2 tables very tight but that is fine. The problem started when , after a few minutes, they asked one of us to stand up so they could open the cupboard where they kept extra glasses. Yes, they put our table right on the cupboard. This happened 5 times throughout the dinner, one of us had to move 5 times while eating so the waiters could get the glasses. Not nice at all. Khachapuri took 1h. I have been to many Georgian restaurants and I am aware that some dishes take long but they only realised how long it was taking when I ask them about the dish. The waiter looked confused and went to check. After a few minutes it arrived, more than 1h after ordering. Towards the end, I asked for desserts and a couple of digestives, the two waiters looked at each other and told us that we have to leave because there was another booking coming(what?!?!). This was very uncomfortable, none of us were told about this and no notice was given at all. The waiter blamed it on the first of us who had arrived earlier saying thay he had informed us. We politely said that we did not get informed and thay he might be mistaken but he kept blaming us saying that he did. He also mentioned that the table is reserved for only 2h but nothing was ever mentioned on their website or booking. We had been there for just 1.30h but he said that it was 2h because one of us arrived slightly earlier. He said that we can order but as soon as the next booking arrives we have to stand up snd leave regardless of whether we had finished eating. Absolutely shocking. The waiters went then ahead and ignored us for a few minutes and ignored our order. A colleague finally came and apologized (the first apology all evening) and offered us extra time and a dessert on the house. However the night was ruined and while having dessert they disturbed again to take more glasses from the cupboard. I will never go back to this restaurant. We travelled 1h to get some clients out for a dinner and the experience was horrible. There are better Georgian restaurants in London with better service, avoid this.

I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant the food was delicious, we initially wanted to try a new 'genre' of food to our usual and did not regret it one bit. The ambience was full of cultural art and images of historical landmarks. Nicholas (one of the main reasons I'd go again) was our server, he was attentive and really took us on a journey through the foods from starter to dessert on the culture and history of Georgia. Definitely will be considering visiting the country because of the food and rich history.

I’ve been coming to Iberia for several years now and the service and quality of food have always been exceptional. It’s my go-to venue for a treat or special occasion. I recommend the chakapuli or ostri with walnuts. The selection of wine is also great.

Very average Georgian restaurant, not the best in London. The way they managed an overbooking was rude. And on the top they added an additional glass of wine.

Please be aware, that even if you book a table it does not mean they give you a table. I booked a table well in advance for our Saturday night date, when we arrived they told us there were no tables. I was informed they tried to call me the whole day and that I had booked a table at the last minute, just before arriving. Very disappointed, we traveled there for an hour. No apologies just a bunch of lies, trying to convince me it was my fault.

8 of us gathered to celebrate a big legal victory, we’d come from far and wide, Scotland, Somerset, Wales, it was a special occasion. The service was minimally friendly. The food was no impression, I had the lamb stew which was meant o have tarragon, plum sauce and coriander but it was literally just pieces of cubed land in a terracotta dish in its own juices with coriander dissolved into it, serviced with a few slices of cold unleavened bread for £18! It tasted okay for what it was but seriously, no onions, garlic or vegetable of any kind, it was just stewed lamb! The wine was nice but it shine, cheapest bottle £32! Nobody had starter or desert and we still spent £320! That at 10.30pm they told us we had to leave as they were closing! On a Friday night! Very disappointing and regrettable choice for this occasion

I have been going to this restaurant for many years. Maybe once a year. It was always nice and friendly. However the service the staff provided for my friends birthday was truly bad. I don’t know if staff just had a bad day. But I haven’t felt so unwelcome in a restaurant ever. There was a party of 9 of us celebrating a birthday. We had 4 menus between us. Waitress would take an order from 2-3 people and then disappear for 25min. It was truly strange. There were a lot of these issues, and I don’t want to go into every detail. I am sure the staff has a heart in a right place and they are good people, but the service was bad and disappointing especially compared to many other times I have been here.

Really good Georgian food in a nice little place with warm service The wines were really good - was very positively surprised by how good it was Food was very flavourful without exception and the tastes seemed authentic- service was prompt in general and attentive Sadly they did not have the 2 desserts we were looking to order so had to settle on one sticky toffee pudding which was not good.

had a great time. I had never eaten Georgian food before so it was really helpful to have some tips on how to mix and rip the bread. still managed to get soup all over myself with the dumplings. The staff were super friendly and I shazamed a whole bunch of great Georgian tunes they were playing. Tried tarragon lemonade. Unforgettable!!

Very disappointing service. We booked a table for a large group on the terrace and I contacted the restaurant twice to re-confirm the booking. We ended up dining inside. This would not be a big issue, if everything else about the service was nice. However, we waited for our order for two hours (literally): there were 10 of us and everyone ordered just the main and a drink. Seems that something needs to be done with the management of this restaurant.

I recently visited a Georgian restaurant that unfortunately left a lot to be desired. I'd give one star to whoever is managing this place. Despite it being a busy evening, there were only two staff members working, and while they were doing their absolute best, the atmosphere was chaotic and stressful. It completely ruined what should have been a pleasant evening. The food itself was good, but the service issues overshadowed that. We ended up having to cancel our order of khinkali because it never made it to our table. It’s a shame because this place has potential, but the poor management and lack of proper staffing made the experience frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend dining here unless some serious changes are made.

We booked a table here, and when we arrived for our reservation, the restaurant was closed. No one answered the phone. Why allow us to make a reservation on a day it was closed? Or why not notify us that it was not open? We travelled from the other side of london for this reservation. Very disappointing

I wasn't that impressed by this place. The food was just alright. We enjoyed our starters but thought the khachapuri was average. The mains were a disappointment - nothing particularly flavourful and the lamb was quite tough. It was Friday, so understandably busy, but service was SLOW. Also, I recognise it's London and not Tbilisi, but £21 for khinkali is utter madness. I wouldn't recommend.

The best Georgian food we've ever had, so delicious and full of flavour. The day we visited there was only one waitress and she was running around like a headless chicken and waiting time for food was extended but it was so worth the wait!!! Flavours that I would struggle to recreate at home. I will definitely be coming back again.

We used to go regularly to this restaurant and we loved the food and service,everything..now for some reason they don’t do ,,shashlik/mtsvadi on charcoal anymore wich is ridiculous because they used to do all the time and was delicious ..sad because we used to love this restaurant for years😕

I recently dined at Iberia restaurant at Caledonian road, a Georgian restaurant, and it was an extraordinary experience that transported me straight to the heart of Georgia. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic evening. The restaurant's ambiance is inviting and authentic, with beautiful Georgian decor that adds a touch of elegance and tradition. The soft lighting and cozy seating made it a perfect place for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The food at Iberia restaurant is nothing short of spectacular. We started our meal with traditional appetizers like khachapuri and pkhali. The khachapuri, with its perfectly baked bread and gooey cheese filling, was absolutely divine. The pkhali, a variety of delicious vegetable spreads, was flavorful and beautifully presented. For the main course, I chose the khinkali, Georgian dumplings filled with juicy meat and aromatic spices. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the dumplings were cooked to perfection. My dining companions opted for the chakhokhbili (a savory chicken stew) and the mtsvadi (grilled meat skewers). Both dishes were exceptional, with rich, authentic flavors that showcased the best of Georgian cuisine. The dessert was the perfect conclusion to our meal. We indulged in churchkhela, a traditional Georgian sweet made from grape must and nuts. It was a delightful and unique treat that left us thoroughly satisfied

The Khinkali was a highlight – perfectly cooked with a delicious sauce inside. However, the meat could have been softer; it felt like it was prepared a couple of weeks ago. The salad was amazing, fresh, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for an overall enjoyable dining experience. I look forward to visiting again and trying more dishes!

Very small portions and very expensive.

Overall I would not recommend this place. Khinkali were fine in terms of the taste - nothing good or bad. The portion size was good but the price was about 8-10 times higher than in Georgia. When I ordered Dolma I expected meat in grape leaves but instead I got meat in cabbage leaves. The taste was very mediocre. Khachapuri looked pretty poor - there was no sign of cheese being baked. The waiting time was insane - it took them more than an hour and a reminder from us to bring khinkali. On top of that when they brought the bill they pointed out that it did not include service charge, hinting us at leaving some tips on top. Not the service you want to experience for such a price

The food was magnificent and the hostess was charming and helpful. The Khinkali were so delicious I wanted to cry. Also loved the Khachapuri and Badrijani. This was my first taste of Georgian cuisine but it won't be my last. Iberia was the best part of my visit to London. I wish I lived there.

This has been a neighbourhood restaurant for me since I moved to London almost 4 years ago. I have been multiple times and I order from here when I want comfort food. I took my boyfriend yesterday evening because I was sure he would love it. And it didn’t disappoint. We got my usual orders (the cheese bread and the soup dumplings) and something I had never tried before. The red wine was an amazing plus. The service is always top tier, welcoming just like a neighbourhood restaurant can be. My boyfriend and the host bonded over having the same name. This restaurant will always be a sure recommendation.
