I went for lunch, picked a set menu and it was really nice. Lovely warm bread, salad, starter and main were very good too. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely go back.

Vine aquí con mi esposa, mi madre, mis dos hijos pequeños y mi hermano menor para la cena. El lugar estaba completamente vacío un viernes por la noche. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida. El servicio era amable. Pedimos nuestra comida que venía rápido. No había nada de ambiente ya que éramos las únicas personas allí. La comida era buena. La factura total fue de 100 libras. Aunque la comida y el servicio era bueno yo realmente no me veo yendo allí de nuevo. No está mal.

The service is great and the food is delicious. Been here a few times now and will definitely recommend this to others. Plus Renée Zellwegger ( Bridget Jones) is a regular 😊

Kitchen Head is probably my favorite restaurant in London, serving healthy and excellent food. I am coming regularly (2 times per week) as also the prices are very fair for the high quality food and the service.

Visitamos en un sábado por la noche, la decisión de última hora, pero como éramos 6 de nosotros, me llamó media hora antes para reservar y nos caben en aunque tuvieron una gran fiesta.

Great salad starter. Main also very agreable reminding me yet again what a superb ingredient yoghurt can be. Management allowed me to bring my bike in (no where to secure it outside) and it was not particularly busy. Very appreciated.Slight issue on settlement: I need my VAT receipts. None forthcoming. VAT receipt: declined.

A Turkish Restaurant offering traditional dishes very well prepared. We were a small group and ordered several dishes for sharing. Everything was very good, fresh, well cooked and natural. Aspect is perhaps not too cool but service and food deserve a visit.

They made a very good meal, soup is excellent. Kitchen with natural products without artificial flavors. The use of spices is moderate. They have good Turkish wine and raki.

Local restaurant with tasty, simple Turkish food. Quiet and relaxed. Very good value for 3 people as we chose the platter with 5 cold meze dishes, bread, rice, salad and kebabs, lamb, chicken. So much that we needed a doggie bag to take some back to my son's flat. The Turkish wine was good too. This is a restaurant that doesn't overcharge and you won't go home hungry. I would recommend it to anyone who likes this kind of food.

Well, I have to say that I go quite often to Tas Firin because I think that the food is really good and you can have a great meal for £15 or so.I was completely unknowledgeable about Turkish food and this restaurant made me discover lots of nice dishes. You can go for a Mixed Grill with chicken, lamb, bread, rice, sauces and salad for something like £12. Even the fish is really good. The kitchen is open so you can actually see when they grill your fresh meat/fish and also you can see when they make bread at the moment.They don't have any selection of cocktails but this is probably not the restaurant you would go to for booze.I highly recommend it if you would like to spend an evening around Brick Lane and have some Mediterranean food.

Went to Tas Firin with two friends and ordered far too much food. Everything was superb, and the quail and the lamb chops in particular were just excellent. All fresh, beautifully cooked and fast, friendly service. Lots of people coming in for takeaways and lots of people just hanging out over a late night kebab. Exactly what this area is about - not nonsense hipster burgers. Really super, and very good value. Highly recommended.

I live right across the road and go a few times a month with my flat mates. We love it. We order the platter every time, both the meat and fish. It comes with home made bread and all the dips to start which is amazing. No faults at all. Try the homemade baklava for dessert too. Highly recommended this place.

Mideastern cuisine here, the options are plentiful. We had lamb and chicken kebabs. The meats were flavorful and juicy. Limited wine by the glass selection. Our entrees cam with pita and a vegetable tray.

Meal for two on a quiet easter Sunday evening. Greatly assisted by the owner and waitress who did a great job explaining the menu and who were very friendly. The starters were delicious as was the main course. So much food for a modest price. Definitely worth a visit. If I lived nearby I suspect that I would become a regular here.

I’ve been here a few times now and keep coming back as its delicious! We always receive friendly service from everyone there and very reasonable prices. The food is great and have not had any issues at all. I would definitely recommend it!

This was our first visit to Tas-Firin with our son and his wife and was made to feel very welcome by Ibrahim and his colleagues. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it.We were treated like family and we will certainly be going again when we're next in London.

My husband and I eat here about once a week. The food is consistently excellent - huge portions, fresh ingredients, simple but well executed. Feels like eating at a good friend's house, as Ibrahim is always so warm and takes time to chat with us a bit. We are planning on moving to a different area in a few months' time but have resolved to keep visiting Tas Firin every Friday because it's just that good!

I went to this restaurant as part of a large group last week. From the moment we got there they couldn't do enough for us. Laying on complimentary olives, bread and oil. The food was great and tasted very fresh.Ibrahim who looked after us could not have been more helpful, he even sent his wife out to get more decorations for the tree before we arrived! One of our party realised she had ordered the wrong item, he let her choose something else to take home. We all had a great time and were left to enjoy our meal and had our drinks refilled as we needed it. The bread and sauces were also constantly topped up.I have been to this restaurant a few times for their lunchtime specials and the food and service is always amazing! great place and very reasonably priced.Away from the hustle and bustle of Upper Street, it is a welcome addition to the area.Give it a try, you won't regret it!

I have been twice to the restaurant, once on my own and once with a large party. On my solo visit the service was excellent and the staff were helpful about my diet and knowledgeable. Our pre-booked party of about 50 people got the same helpful staff but they were clearly showing the strain having to deal with so many people and in the end a fair number of us got the main dish almost cold. For both visits the quality of the food was very good, the portions generous and the prices reasonable.

A very friendly little eatery with staff who couldn' do enough for you. Food was freshly prepared, fresh cooked Turkish PIDE( bread) cooked in front of you in a special oven. A large variety to choose from at reasonable prices. When bill came a glass of wine was on the house ( very nice touch as creates good will). Will certainly go again.

If you're looking for a super reliable Turkish grill experience (i.e a proper Turkish mangal ockabasi) then look no more! Their mixed grill in particular is quite frankly brilliant, especially the grilled quail, chops and ribs. Mmmm.Plus the portion sizes are massive so you won't leave unsatisfied. A regular haunt when I need my grilled meat fix.

Great selection of both meat, fish and veggie food. Nice Turkish red wines on offer too.We had the mixed hot starter platter between 2, then a mixed Pide and an aubergine main course. All absolutely delicious, and very reasonable with main courses from under 10 quid.

We go here every week to have lamb ribs,they do so good and the staff is very friendly and efficient.. The portions are very big and the place is general is not expensive at all. I would recommend this place to everyone who want to have a good meal in a nice and quiet atmosphere..Worth to visit it!!

Halal food, great quality, good service. Try the chicken with rice and Russian salad. Waiters are very nice and polite, and they occasionally give you free deserts and coffee!

The total experience was great! Food is as fresh as can be, the waiters are quite funny and of course the portions are more than filling :-) You can also take the food you haven't finished as a takeaway, which is a bonus for yummy lunch the next day!

I've walked past this place many times, but finally got the chance to try it when I had to stay overnight at the nearby Thistle Barbican. I ordered the swordfish, and expected to receive a modest portion. Instead when the fish arrived it was arranged on top of a salad, along with another large side plate of salad, a large portion of rice and a basket of bread. One of the tastiest, freshest meals I've eaten in a restaurant.

This is our local Turkish restaurant and we visit regularly. The food is always at a very high standard. Usually we have the lamb chops, the chicken wings or the mixed grill. All dishes are served with a fresh salad, rice, giant couscous and Turkish bread. The starters are always tasty too. Would definitely recommend. Around £40 for two if you have a couple of starters.

Three of us went for the lunch menu today and it was great value. Service was effecient, the food was very tasty and excellent value (£9.95 for a starter, main, drink and dessert).The humus was excellent and the kofte kebab I had was delicious.Would definitely recommend and return again.

Turkish food may not be well known but Tas Kirin proves it is certainly delicious. This small restaurant has an open kitchen with a charcoal hearth and everything is served freshly prepared and hot. Pides (Turkish pizza) are a healthy size and have a terrific tender crust embracing the toppings. There is just enough heat to the sauce to make it interesting. The lamb meatballs are tasty, tender and dressed with a really interesting sauce. Casseroles of several varieties are on the menu and served with enough rice and salad to make a meal for two. Service is sincere, friendly and quick. It would be worth return visits to work through Tas Firin's interesting and delicious menu!

Cosy environment, friendly staff, a wide range of delicious and more than enough Turkish food for you to choose at reasonable price (lunch at GBP 10 each) - that's our impression of our experience at Tas Firin restaurant. What really impressed me was the baskets of hot Turkish bread, fresh from the kitchen. The kebab is of very high quality - freshly grilled and juicy. The restaurant opens until eleven to twelve in the evening - good place for a late dinner after whole day of sightseeing.

What a great place! Went with my family for lunch and was really impressed. The waitress was happy, efficient, polite, attentive and was smiling all the time. The food was delicious, really tasty and real value for money. After trying it, we'll definitely be back.

This turkish restaurant was fantastic - everything from the turkish bread, to the food to the friendly staff! We ordered the meat platter for two which comes with bread and a salad all for £28! And this was more than enough, the portions are very generous but still of a high quality. The waitress also explained exactly what everything was whichever as helpful! I massively recommend this restaurant and I will be going back to try the fish!

This was my favourite lunch time spot for a few months, its a brilliant restaurant, reasonably price and you get a big complete meal which is just tasty and satisfying. The staff are really sweet and polite, ignore the location the inside is nice and light and airy. I really rate this place. A great addition to the neighbourhood!

Enjoyable authentic Turkish cuisine with good service. My omly complaint was that too much bread was served between starters and main course dishes. Perhaps the amount could be reduced.

Here you get truly the taste of Turkey in the middle of London. All dishes were freshly made and amazingly tasty. We had fish and meat, you can see through the open kitchen how our meal is prepared. Don't foget to try the grilled mushrooms! Service was good and prices reasonable, Will go there soon again.

I have to underline that we ordered a home delivery so this might have affected the overall picture. I was disappointed because I read the reviews and I was excited but all we got was frozen food ie. calamari and canned sauces ie. tarama. I expected them to be fresh for such high reviews. The bread was bad as well.

for 3 weeks on the trot with my brother and sister-in-law went to this restuarant Saturday Nights. The 1st time The food was very good, large portions and reasonable prices. the 2nd week the portions were smaller, but OK by us and prices still reasonable. Last Saturday night the prices had gone up by a a large percentage and suddenly this restuarant did not seem so attractive. Inflation is supposed to be lower than zero, yet Restuarants keep increasing prices as they become popular. Food and service is still very good though

We ate here as a family with two young children. We were staying at the Citadines apartments opposite. The staff were great with children and the chef served some delicioyus food...well done!

Friendly service in informal setting. And good fresh bread. The food could be much better. I don't agree with the high rating this restaurant has compared to other Turkish restaurants in Angel. There are certainly better ones on Upper St. I hope they can improve their food as I live nearby!

One bus stop away from Angel down city road. We had been thinking of coming here for some time, but maybe the unpretentious exterior put us off, but we went for lunch last Saturday. The food is Turkish and slightly different for the usual. It was excellent. We had the lunch time menu which is very good value indeed. The starters are good, salads etc, but the main courses are very interesting and tasty. The meals are served with lots of extras- very nice. Service is excellent and very friendly. This hidden away restaurant is a real find, and highly recommended. The food is delicious and extremely good value. Some of the best Turkish food we have had in London.

We have eaten in and ordered take aways from here. The restaurant is very basic but the food is very tasty everytime we have been. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The only problem is if you order a take away and I'm scraping the barrel here, there isn't really anywhere to sit and wait for it because it is always packed in there with people dining in. Which is good for the restaurant but not for the customer if it's cold and raining outside. Worth it though.

Bit unexpected based on the location, but this place is great value for the quality provided. The service is excellent and the food is freshly made. I would recommend the lahmacun as it is made in a traditional way: probably the best I've had outside Istanbul.

I absolutely love Tas Farin - a wonderful combination of genuinely fantastic food and warm, friendly service. The cooking is fresh, full of flavour, plentiful and real value for money. Turkish food is a favourite of mine and the food here doesn't disappoint.Since opening early this year, Tas Firin has become my go-to local and I'm grateful to have a restaurant of this quality on my doorstep. I've visited with friends, popped in for a takeaway and come in for a meal with my wife and we've always been well looked after by the welcoming staff. The service is outstanding. I can't praise this place enough and hope that it's a mainstay on City Road for years to come!

Me and the family had a 1st birthday party here and loved everything about it, from the food to the service I creasonable for the amount of people that was there. I can't wait for the cocktail bar to be open downstairs. i will definitely be visiting there again as it was recommended to me

We have never done this before but this is our third night in a row visiting this restaurant. It really has ,everything - great food, service and very reasonably priced. We tried a lot of different items on the menu and could not fault anything. You must try the Quail dish and the Tas Firin Special Kebab dishes - they were delicious. Mert and his staff were outstanding, and in particular the young lady that served us on the first two nights. If you are in London visit this restaurant.

The food and staff were lovely. We received free salads and desserts, but we're too full to eat them!! The menu isn't as vast as other Tas restaurants but there is plenty of choice. It's very reasonable price wise and will be going back soon.

Great Turkish restaurant half way down city road. Really tasty from the large wood fired oven. I live round the corner and will be using the take out regularly. Staff are lovely too.

Not knowledgeable of Turkish food. But it was convenient to our hotel. The food was delicious. We followed the recommendations of our server, Mert Isik. The pide was perfect, as was the mixed kebab. Mert provided a starter and veggies gratis. And recommended Turkish Youghurt drink. Different and nice. We are going back this evening!

This place makes delicious food and the service is always friendly and quick. Relaxed atmosphere to eat in and is always good value. Takeaway is also quick and equally delicious. Have got a bit hooked on the shish kebabs with all the trimmings!

I have been to this restaurant a few times with colleagues for lunch as it is near to our workplace. The lunch menu is varied and really good value for money. The portions are big and the bread is soooo good. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. There is always a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially for lunch (I haven't yet been for dinner).

Just having arrived in London we did not want to wander far for dinner. Lucky for us Tas Firin was right across from our hotel. What a great way to start off our vacation, great food, excellent and very friendly service with a welcoming atmosphere! We will definitely go back before we leave town!

We were very lucky to have friends suggested this resto to us. This resto is a new expansion of their sister restaurant in Bathnal Green. As soon as we tasted the kebabs, we felt they may be some of the best in town - we ordered lamb, chicken (my favourite was chicken wings) and they are highly recommended. My husband order a grilled fish that is succulent and tender. To balance the hearty meal, we also had some salad which was zesty and fresh. Service was friendly and nice. It was a super good value - can't ask for more.
