Every experience, every member of staff, every bite of food – simply faultless. For our two-day corporate event, the whole team commented on how incredible everything was, from the beauty of the grounds, to the quality of customer service and friendliness from every single person we met, to the beauty of the spa and the simply wonderful food. I cannot sing their praises enough.

The Mallory Court is a truly wonderful boutique style hotel. The best thing about this hotel are the staff who are all extremely friendly and courteous. For me this is the sign of a great place when every member of staff seems genuinely happy that you are staying there. It made us feel very special and appreciated and this is a rare and wonderful thing. Beyond that, the service is very efficient, the location is excellent with lovely country views. The grounds are very nice to walk in. Dinner was one of the best we've ever had and again the service was exceptional. I cannot fault any aspect of Mallory Court.

I booked Mallory Court as surprise for my wife as a mini moon from 7th April to 9th April. From the very start, the staff were amazing in making those 2 nights special for us. Dawn was extremely supportive in helping me book the afternoon tea and spa. The staff when we arrived were nothing but tentative, even offered us an upgrade along with cookies and card to congratulate us. On the Monday, we had the spa for 2 hours and followed by our treatment, one particular staff member (she had short blonde hair) did put a damper on our experience as we felt she was rude, very cold towards us and even snatched the bands out my hands and said “cheers”. Not something I’d expect considering the experience we’d been getting from the other staff members. Other than that, from the welcome, restaurant staff, to hotel staff, I want to say a huge thank you from the wife and I for making our mini moon a memorable one.

Went for afternoon tea with family. We'll worth the visit. The setting, service, and food were faultless. The only critique I could muster would be to have more sandwiches than sweets, but that is just my take; perhaps it was because the Salmon wraps were so bloody good! I will certainly be visiting again. UPDATE March 22nd, 2024 Oh dear, had to reduce my 5 stars down to 2. Why? Well the selection of food was minimized and reduced down to finger sandwiches which were bland and of insufficient quantity for 1 elderly person, and 1 middle aged person (they went back out for food after this experience) Also the main house was under renovation (except for the weekends?!) the ambience of afternoon tea was shattered, because it was served in the cafeteria of the health club, that might have been McDonalds. For the price and food selection, I can no longer recommend Mallory Court for afternoon tea. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We experienced a real treat and enjoyed the “Taste of The Season” Nine course tasting menu. It was really delicious. Every course was a flavour explosion and quite different. I particularly loved the Duck egg with truffle, chive and hazelnut. The service was professional but also very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. A little quiet as it was a Wednesday but I can imagine at the weekend it would probably be busier. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wine flight, which included a few English wines, two of which were from Stratford upon Avon, which really surprised us, having lived locally all our life we had no idea there was a Welcombe Hills wine estate. Thank you to Josefine, Chef Keiron and the whole team. We had a truly lovely evening.

Location if you are visiting Warwick castle, is great. However, this is where the good points stop. When we arrived, we were greeted by an aspestos removal van for a start. Overall, we felt utterly scammed by the hotel. Firstly, when booking a Relais and Chateaux accredited hotel, you expect a certain level of service , room and amenities. We booked a dog friendly room, and of course accepted that we would be in a room designed to reflect this. We did not however, expect to me carted off to a different building that resembled a shabby travelodge. The room was almost identical to a travelodge, just with nicer biscuits. The walls were scuffed, floor dirty, toilet flush barley working and bits falling off the shower when we tried to use it. The dog bed stank of wee and the robes provided we shabby and mottled. They did leave a nice treat for the dog so that was lovely, to give some credit to the team. On top of all this, you are told upon arrival that you should you wish to use any of the hotel facilities, you will be charged £15pp, which is far from five star service given the nightly rate. At breakfast the following morning, the matrede acted as if I had somehow inconvenience them. I was finally seated, and after 20 minutes I managed to order. 10 minutes after this someone actually bought me a menu, which wasn't helpful by this point. The breakfast was tasty when it finally arrived. I asked for some butter for my toast and the waitress proceeded to lean over to a table that had yet to be cleared and grab the USED butter, complete with crumbs and mashed up bits of food, and place this in front of me. When I asked for fresh butter, I again appeared to have inconvenienced the team. Overall, this felt like an expensive travelodge and a real stain on the Relais and Chateux name.

Fantastic dining experience. We enjoyed the A La Carte menu in the dining room. The decor maybe a bit dated but the service was very good and food delicious, especially the octopus starter. The amuse bouche were a welcome addition and the bread and speciality butters memorable. The apple dessert was also delicious. The wine list was extensive and the reasonably priced Rose welcome. The chef and their team should be congratulated on such high quality cooking and adventurous menu.

The food is exceptionally good (we went a la carte), the service is outstanding, but a couple of issues prevent this being a 5 star review. Firstly, the ambience is all over the place. The decor tries to make this place feel traditional, but it is not rooted in any particular time period so it ends up feeling tired and old - seeing cabinets of early 20th China tea sets on display and silver plated candle sticks everywhere just gives a feel of your parents house in the 1970s. The service tries to be formal (and the staff are excellent) but guests are dressed casually. As they seem to be aiming towards formal dining, it is hard to totally relax. Even lining up the tables in rows adds to the formality of the atmosphere. We looked at the tasting menu but seeing many elements from the sea on there, psychologically makes you worry about freshness of the food as this venue is about as far from the sea as you can get. Also, it seems to be a vote against local, fresh produce. The marmite of fine-dining, the dreaded sweetbread, was on the tasting menu. As both my wife and I are firmly in the "Absolutely Not" camp for sweetbread (and concerns about seafood freshness) we swerved the tasting menu. The food we ordered, however, was astonishingly good across all dishes. There was a huge amount of culinary skills presented to us with some knock-out combinations of flavor. If this restaurant had a (significant) make-over to fit a unified style and atmosphere it could be one of the midlands top dining experiences. It has the staff and culinary skills to get there, but just needs the input of interior designers to make this place unmissable. I'd like them to go for a more more minimalist, light and modern atmosphere and make it a bit more informal. Focus more on local produce (some red meat or game in the winter months wouldn't go amiss) for the tasting menu. On the a la carte, it would be good to offer 3 courses plus an optional cheese board. Despite these reservations, it is definitely worth going just to experience the fabulous cuisine served by fabulous staff, which is by some distance the best in the district. Leamington is missing a Michelin starred restaurant and this venue can get there with the right ambience and some tweaks to the tasing menu, in my opinion.

We came here for the boxing day lunch, and the food was very excellent. Service was very attentive, and the place was very relaxing and comfortable making it a perfect venue for a special meal. I had sweetbread for the first time and it was an amazing surprise, the taste and textures were delicious. For main I had artichoke, where artichokes and Jerusalem artichokes cooked in different ways made it a treat.

We have just returned from an incredible spa break at Mallory. I went with my mum for a birthday treat and it was amazing from start to finish. The facilities are spotless. The spa very calm and peaceful, I liked that they didn’t cram too many people in. Our bedroom was immaculate with everything you could need. We had treatments in the spa and they were blissful. Dinner was out of this world, the halibut was possibly the tastiest dinner I’ve ever had. The staff throughout were very attentive and genuinely interested in their guests. 1 night stay for 2 in Knight Suite - modern annex to main estate Pros - warm and friendly meet and greet on arrival - quick and easy check in - attractive and expansive grounds - cosy and rustic vibe - excellent breakfast and efficient and friendly service - superb modern spa - clean, well maintained : sauna, steam and outdoor plunge pool with nice view, plus tea room and well equipped gym Cons - although we went for the cheap room option (£165) the standard is in par with a premier inn - it’s mainly the room decor that lets it down - red / reproduction style fittings - the drinks / lounge area is a little cramped and cocktails lack flare for the price - you have to pre book pool, there is a surcharge and the pool is often fully booked - I am pretty sure demand is not so high that they could do away with the booking system - or at least let people use the plunge pool whenever they like for free All in all quite a nice place - the service is attentive and welcoming - it just feels a little overly formal and high brow in some aspects

Arrived yesterday, staff are friendly and welcoming. Gardens are pretty although would be nicer to visit at another time of year, not winter! The entrance lounge/ lobby drinks area is nice. Cocktails okay. Dining room looks too formal and not spacious, we cancelled our evening meal and decided to head into town for dinner instead! ( Fantastic Italian). We came here mainly for the pool and spa but on arrival we were told it was fully booked for the rest of the day. No previous email or call to inform us to book in advance. However, after a delicious breakfast we did manage to get a slot at the pool and spa,it is the absolute highlight! Beautifully done and so relaxing, the outdoor hot tub is gorgeous on a chilly morning! However at an extra £15 I'd stay elsewhere and just come for the pool ( apparently, the same price for non staying guests,a bit odd.) Our room was in an annexe which is worse than a Premier Inn,awful decor, cheap and nasty...but not cheap! Overall a mixed view,if you can afford the expensive rooms then it's probably a better experience.

We booked afternoon tea for a girly afternoon treat and what a disappointment. We were sat at a table next to a side table thick with dust, you could write your name in it! No cake stands and everything bought out all together on separate plates. No poached salmon sandwich even though on the menu and not told of the change. Replaced with smoked salmon but paired with super thick butter. Asked for more sandwiches and they bought 8 when 5 of us so not enough for 2 each! We had no jam or cream for the scones so had to then ask for that and also the water we requested when we arrived. The glazed lemon and raspberry tart is not glazed and was served with no raspberries! The blueberry macaroon tasted very artificial and probably the worst I have ever had! The coffee gateau was also very unpleasant, with the scones quite heavy. That coupled with the tea that was far too strong overall a truly disappointing experience. Do not believe the images on the website as it is nothing like that which is a shame as it could have been so much better and easily fixed. Mallory court if you are going to offer afternoon tea, buy some cakes stands and ensure you are producing what you have stated on your menu!

Our one-night twilight spa stay at Mallory Court Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the enthusiasm and conscientiousness of the reception staff, Ellie and Emily, set the tone for a warm and welcoming experience. Their polite and friendly demeanor instantly made us feel at home. The room we were allocated was not just comfortable but truly beautiful, offering stunning views of the grounds. Being within the spa building provided convenient access to the facilities, which we thoroughly enjoyed for a good two hours. The pre-dinner drinks at the library were a highlight, with attentive staff ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The Orchard House restaurant was a real gem, providing a wonderful and relaxed dining experience. Jose, our host and waiter, was exceptional. His attention to detail and efforts to make us feel special truly elevated our evening. He went above and beyond, making him a true asset to the hotel. The cleanliness of the room and ensuite was impeccable, and it was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The complimentary refreshments and an amazingly comfortable bed added a touch of luxury to our stay. The wonderful breakfast experience, hosted by the attentive waiter Jeremy, was a perfect conclusion to our visit. The attention to detail and the level of service provided was outstanding and truly made our mornings special. We are grateful for the exceptional service and the effort made to ensure our stay was memorable and relaxing. Mallory Court Hotel exceeded our expectations, and it's safe to say we will most definitely return for another memorable experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay extraordinary. From our experience, the Eden collection provides excellent hotels. This is our second time staying with this company, and it didn't disappoint. The staff at the Mallory showed genuine interest in our stay and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. You really do experience a high level of professional customer service, without it becoming overbearing or pretentious. We stayed in the Upton Suite. The garden view is amazing. The room is exceptional, a great size with all the amenities. Breakfast was also very good, a nice selection and great service. Highly recommend visiting the spa and booking a treatment. (We opted for a full body massage called 'Drift away') and make use of their outdoor vitality pool. It just adds to the experience. Only small gripe I have regarding the spa, the showers in the women's changing room and the steam room could do with having regular cleaning checks. Would definitely revisit and try other hotels by this company.

On arrival neither one of the 2 people at reception explained anything about how the hotel works. Where my room was, where breakfast would be in the morning, etc. Even a premier inn would do this. That was the first fail. The lady who was on reception, was repeatedly sneezing on her hands. Then was picking up keys, opening cupboard doors and had a general disregard for hygiene. It was disgusting. I had to suggest she go and blow her nose and wash her hands. I then asked the remaining gentleman at reception to clean the keys - after they had been sneezed on about 2/3 times. The woman returned and then trundled onwards, muttering something about taking me to my room. Which then turned out to be in another block 200 yards away. She then proceeded to get lost and claim not to know what room was where, etc. While the room was fine, it was about 28 degrees inside, as was most of the building due to being above the Spa and pool. Despite opening all the windows and setting the AC to 16 degrees, the temperature didn't go down, despite being about 12 degrees outside. I was tempted to go and sleep in the car. I regret not doing so, as I only got about 40mins sleep Breakfast was minimal. One rasher. One sausage. Half a black pudding slice (I assume for presentation?) and half cooked scrambled eggs. A la 1970's style. I travel the world and have stayed at most luxury hotels. No one does this anymore. It looks disgusting and considered dangerous to health these days. I also noted that the other 2 residents in the breakfast room were equally disappointed. But they were too embarrassed to say anything. At this point I had enough of paying £300 for a hotel room, that was substandard and such a poor show for breakfast. I discussed all of the above with the 2 women on reception. They said they would take the complaints seriously and were very conciliatory. But nothing happened and no one contacted me, to discuss or take the complaint seriously. Even the cheapest of hotels would offer some kind of compensation. All in all for a hotel that claims to be so luxury, it was an unmitigated failure at every level. I am not angry, just very, very disappointed.

21st-23rd 09.23: I would have loved to give them 5* also for the Service. The first evening and morning the service was attentive not to much organised. However on the 2nd evening it seemed that we were indivisible for the service. It took them more than half an hour to get us to our table and then another 40 minutes until the starters were presented. The food was excellent on both nights, but service was totally chaotic and did not work as a team. Breakfast on the 2nd day again. 20 minutes for a pot of tea and about 30 minutes for breakfast items is a bit long. Mind you we do understand when things are not working well all the time but toast served cold after ordering is a bit out of date. Our room Kiftsgate was fantastic with a private patio.and the whole place is a real retreat. The garden even in September are worth a stroll.Front desk was very kind. We had massages at the spa and can recommend the treatments. During annual closer it is recommended to check with maintenance bathroom tabs. All in all we can recommend the hotel despite the failure in the service.

I went for a business meeting (4 of us in total). It is a stunning location with beautiful buildings and grounds. I can't comment on the rooms but can say it's ridiculously overpriced for lunch. There is very little choice and it's very average in quality. I ordered a Wagu burger with a slice of cheese -£21.90 - NO SALAD or CHIPS included, just 2 thin slices of pickle. A small tumbler of lemonade was £3.50. They had no ice or mayo available and by the time they had gone to the main house to get some we'd finished!

Had afternoon tea and although the sandwiches, scones, carrot cake were lovely the service was very disappointing, pleasant but almost as if it was all a bit of a surprise to them, although there seemed plenty of staff around at reception. We last had afternoon tea here a few years ago and they then offered a choice of sweet or savory, but they no longer offer this choice. Very welcoming and seated in a very nice room with comfortable low seating, with the food served on a low coffee table. They forgot about us for 20 minutes until we asked if anyone was available to take our order. Later when we asked for more sandwiches we were told that they make them in the morning and they didn’t have any more. We then asked for the menu and the same sandwiches were on the menu and available to order separately. After waiting another 20 minutes after asking for the bill, we commented on the experience and it was very obvious that they really were not very interested. I think we had high expectations after our previous visits and considering the setting; such a shame it didn’t live up to it.

We booked this hotel as a post work event treat for 3 colleagues/friends. ROOM: We booked the suite to accommodate 3 of us which was a nice 2 room-1 bathroom accommodation with fridge and nespresso facilities. It was a very hot day and our room was boiling. We’ve been given a fan. It was still hot. The shower over bath didn’t work and despite calling reception no effort was made to fix it. BREAKFAST: we had the breakfast included at the time of booking but were only given the option of cold continental breakfast. We had to pay for hot breakfast at a separate restaurant!! This was disappointing! Not only that, the content and amount of breakfast was very little. A few old cheese. Not enough at all pastries and yogurt. Not even enough for 3 of us! And when we asked to refill the breakfast station we were told that we are limited on stock!! Very strange!! There was only another couple apart from us in the restaurant so not busy at all either! SPA: at the time of booking, we wanted to book a hotel to use the spa facility for the day, so we called the hotel to make sure that this is the case and they said we will have access to spa. Upon check in we were told that we only have 2 hours access to spa for the price of £25 per person. Again very disappointing!! MANAGEMENT: we had to make a complain at the checkout because the room breakfast and access to the spa was all very disappointing. The receptionist didn’t help at all the manager (Jenna) listened to us, and made sure that we are happy with giving us free, complimentary access to, and some discount on their hotel fees. It was a very nice gesture from the hotel management. I am not quite sure if what happened to us is happening regularly in the hotel, but we had a mixed experience of this hotel

Just checked out from Mallory Court and was underwhelmed by our experience. This is advertised as a spa hotel but access to the spa is £15 pp per hour whether guest or not. Without the facilities of the spa to offset the price of the hotel - everything else was left feeling tired and disappointing when what we’d hoped for was a special and relaxing weekend. We knew that we would be staying in the ‘cheaper’ knights suites building and that it only included a continental breakfast. But reality was small, cramped rooms in need of repairs with tired decor and no air con. The breakfast was meagre, understocked and on our second day - utterly empty. Staff were smiling and attentive, the grounds are gorgeous and maybe if you stay in the main building the four star rating would be justified. However for us in the not very ‘cheap seats’ the whole experience left an overpriced and disappointing taste in our mouths, where I kept thinking how much better we would have been served in a travelodge.

The first thing that probably needs to be kept in mind when booking is that not all the rooms are in the main building. Which either was missed by us, or not clear in the first place. So it almost seems like staying in a completely different hotel all together. And again, it seemed that depending on where your room is, you get different breakfast?? This may not be correct, but I'm inferring it from the fact that breakfast appears to be served in the main building. So this was probably the most unsettling thing for me - different breakfasts? That's a first for me tbh. Other than that, the grounds are prestine. Service and food in the restaurant perfect 10/10 for that. Drinks made with precision. Finally I would expect to get spa access as an included benefit if staying at the hotel, but that's not the case. You need to pay for access or get it free with a treatment.

Booked this last minute for a relaxing break with my wife and our high expectations have been exceeded exponentially! From the patient, amazing Zara who took our booking, to the warm welcome at reception and thorough tour by Ollie, to the highly knowledgable and professional staff in the Spa (Grace is deserving of a special mention), to the delicious breakfast, made all the more enjoyable by the inimitable Jeremy and Caroline, (where does one even look to find such exceptional staff?), and then the piece de resistance, the evening taster menu dinner! At first glance, this seems pricey at £80 per person however, once the food arrives and the sheer thought and effort in masterfully preparing, what can only be described as “food fit for royalty”, is experienced, it is a small price to pay. In fact it was so good, we spoiled ourselves twice! In all, we are happy to give this place and all of the staff we encountered our highest recommendation. Our sincere thanks to everyone who made our stay exceptionally memorable and our warm congratulations to the management, who clearly know their craft. We had the Virgin Experience 'Cream Tea for two'. The food and service were exceptional along with the venue and staff. The reason for 3 stars rather than 5 is that we were seated as an afterthought in the hotel reception area. This had low seating with food being served on an even lower coffee table. Being seated at such a low level next to a roaring log fire made it difficult to eat and very uncomfortable after a short while.

I like their spa so decided to try out the hotel's afternoon tea for mother's day. Can't say I enjoyed it much - overpriced for what you get with an additional charge for a glass of prosecco (£10 per glass) which they don't tell you isn't included in the afternoon tea package. Tables too close together, felt awkward and uncomfortable all the way through and couldn't leave fast enough. Unfortunately wouldn't recommend.

Stayed here for a few days for a work related training course. Spacious room. Lovely feel to the main building. The staff were all very pleasant. Our hostess Lisa was lovely. Very attentive, smily & engaging. Nothing was too much trouble. A definite asset. Looking forward to staying again should the need arise. Thank you.

Can’t complain overall, booked through Spa Seekers but for what you get at £300 I think it’s overpriced for the spa facilities, the price only included breakfast which was fantastic but again I would not go again at that price.

Definitely one of my more favourite places to stay. Beautiful old Manor House with good modern additions. Stayed in the spa addition. Room was comfortable with great bedding and a comfortable bed. Spa was also good and was quiet midweek. Food was excellent.

The restaurant serves seasonal produce, some of which is grown on site. Service was impeccable. Food was exciting and surprising, exactly what you want when eating at a place like this. Would definitely return. If you are staying at the hotel it’s worth noting it is a set menu so would be the same each night I think. One criticism is the arrangement of tables for 2. Not sure why so many restaurants think that rows of tables for 2 arranged side to side offers anything in terms of privacy, coziness or intimacy to diners who are couples. We were fortunate enough to be seated at a larger table in a corner, but I pity the couples who were seated in the row of tables on the other side of the restaurant. I suspect it allows more covers. I’d rather pay more and have fewer tables arranged with guests priorities in mind.

Visited for afternoon tea and we were not disappointed. Firstly, it is great to find somewhere that serves afternoon tea around lunchtime as I prefer to have it instead of lunch. The sandwiches were wonderful- classic flavours, brilliantly done and a poached salmon wrap as something bit different. Egg mayonnaise was particularly tasty. The scones were great and unlike other places I’ve tried you actually get enough jam and cream. Delicious jam too! The cakes were dainty and exciting- I loved them all, but the pistachio and matcha choux bun with green craquelin was out of this world. There was a lovely tea menu and tea was plentiful. Beautiful surroundings and excellent, friendly service. Birthday chocolates were a lovely touch. There were not many staff on duty and it was very busy, but staff still found the time to make our visit special. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and it completed exceeded our expectations. The spa offered the best massages we have ever had and the facilities were incredibly clean, quiet and modern. The hotel was stunning, comfortable and truly luxurious and really had the 'wow' factor from the moment we arrived in the parking lot. Our dinner was included in our stay and it was truly a fine dining experience. The staff could also not do enough and were incredibly friendly during our stay, both in the spa, during check-in and at our meal. We will certainly be visiting again and cannot recommend enough!

Fabulous venue, rooms were warm and cosy, just what we needed. At time of booking assumed that our breakfast included a full English which was not the case, when we were then offered the "complimentary breakfast" which I assumed was on the house,I was then advised I had to pay an extra £55 at check-up, which was rather disappointing and caught me unawares. So communication wasn't clear at all, in my opinion. The breakfast issue dampened what would have been an excellent experience!

You cannot just book to visit the spa only. You can only visit the spa if you book a treatment, a member, or have a room. I wanted to go the spa with my Mum for my birthday and have a cream tea after, but this is not possible because you can't pay to enter just the spa facilities. Seems a bit strange and what if only one person wanted a treatment? No days out at the spa? I only wanted an hour and was happy to pay, seems silly.

We had the tastes of the season menu with wine flight. The menu was fantastic. From the snacks at the beginning, which were very nice, through all the principal courses, the quality of cookery and dishes was very high. The wine was paired beautifully, and the service was very pleasant. The dining experience was very memorable.

A great hotel close to Warwick and Stratford on Avon. Staff were excellent from start to finish, fitting us in quickly to use the spa and helping us find our room. Restaurant menu is excellent and the staff worked hard both in front and back of house to accommodate my pregnant wife, changing out ingredients at the drop of a hat with a no change in the quality of the meal. It is a little out of town and visitors need to be prepared for the price of dining in (definitely no pizza and chips or burgers on the menu!) but it was perfect for a pre Xmas (and pre baby) getaway for a night. Great hotel with the staff standing out. Excellent stay, would recommend and visit again in the future.

Had some very enjoyable cream tea with my family. Easy booking process with good availability. Friendly staff who accommodated a disabled guest well. Delicious tea and scones. In hindsight, would ensure you mention if any of your party have accessibility issues. The afternoon tea is conducted in lounge areas with coffee tables and sofas - some of which can be difficult to eat and drink from.

We are still here and upto now, we can't fault anything, all the staff have been wonderful from Olly taking us to our room, (very helpful) to Greg in the Cafe restaurant he is an asset to the hotel, he was very busy, kept calm, had fun with us, that man, needs recognition for what he accomplished on his own, excellent member of staff that worked his butt off. Thank you Greg, for making our evening extra special, from our film quotations, you were great thank you once again. The food was excellent as well.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff, decent room for the price we paid. However, vast housing estates are encroaching so its not in the country setting it perhaps once was. Also, we did not appreciate being banished to the spa for breakfast rather than the lovely dining room, it made us feel like second class citizens, and the breakfast offering was basic, I.e. mass produced sliced bread, portion controlled cereal, fruit salad consisting mainly of apple, a few croissants and some cheap ham and cheese. Not good enough for a Relais and Chateaux hotel.

We stayed in the Holiday inn. Across the road. We love indian food. So thought we would try Sunam. Lovely staff. Very friendly. We had poppadoms with chutneys. Witch was lovely. Wife had chicken Biriani. I had Handi Gosht. OMG. Big chunks of Lamb that fell apart. Probably the best Lamb I've had. In the best curry I've had for a while. Wife was more than happy with her Biriani. I seen a Naan bread called Mr Lee's Naan. Apparently he's a regular who asked them to make the Naan it's got a bit of everything in it. So they put it on the menu. Lamb. Cheese. Chilli. Corriander. The best Naan we've had. Highly recommended. 👍
