Lina's Place in Warwick

This excellent local cafe offers the best breakfast within the Warwick/ Leamington area. I can't fault it, quality food, cooked perfectly and served by friendly staff

Moved from behim Leamington station and now in warwick and newly reopened in the evening. Excellent Portuguese food as it always was. My friend had his favourite Bachalau which he always loves. I had the canja chicken soup followed by the piri piri chicken which were just as good as I remember them. Sevice was quick and friendly. Were were a table of six but the only customers in the restaurant. Please support Lina's. We will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic little Portuguese cafe in Warwick. Breakfast is superb quality and you get loads . I have tried some of the Portuguese dishes which were very good especially the fish soup.. it is small and gets very busy but worth it . My only niggle is the me.nu pricing is a bit odd.. a traditional breakfast is £8.95 with coffee or tea and this is very large but a small breakfast is 6.95 which is half the food of the large one but with no coffee so a coffee is £2 so we are back to the same price as a large breakfast.. anyway we'll worth going too

Popped in for a Friday breakfast and were not disappointed! I have lived locally for years and never thought to visit and I’m so glad we finally did. We both had a cooked breakfast - the food was tasty, hot and fresh. And VERY reasonably priced. Staff were also lovely. Will be returning for a dinner time visit soon!

Fabulous little place lovely clean nice atmosphere very welcoming. We had breakfast every thing about it was just perfect. Definitely will be going back and highly recommend this little treasure

This was my first visit and had a breakfast and coffee. Breakfast was superb being well cooked and using quality products. I would recommend others to try the breakfast they wont dissapointed as this was one of the best breakfast I have had. Service was excellent and friendly a hidden gem for Warwick.

This spot is absolutely gorgeous. The people who work there are amazing, friendly and welcoming. The quality of the products served are fresh and tasty. I truly recommend it.

Um bacalhau divinal, excelente sopa de peixe e canja de galinha. Acima de tudo a simpatia ímpar dos anfitriões Dona Lina e do Senhor Elias. Aos sábados fazemos visita obrigatória para almoço de família. Saímos de lá sempre super satisfeitos e muito bem dispostos.

(Now Sophia's) Avoid, I will not be going again. They were not busy but took over an hour for meal to arrive, no apology for the delay. Wrong drinks served, food was luke warm, likely because they had to keep running back and forth as they didn't really not what they were serving where. Finished eating went for a wee, pulled the flush only for the toilet overflow and flood the floor!

Fabulous little cafe. The owners were so friendly and made feel very welcome. Very cosy and tastefully decorated. Had a breakfast of poached eggs & ham on toast topped with cheese. Good sized portions. Absolutely delicious! 😋 Very reasonably price as it included coffee. Their lunch & evening menu choice is small but sounds delicious. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing place. I went in yesterday ordered two breakfasts to take out and the owner made me an Earl Grey, chatted to me about Scotland, whilst I was waiting for my food to be cooked.

Every weekend my family meet for breakfast. We’ve been doing it for years. Lina’s is the ONLY place we’ve frequented that is consistently excellent. We go to other restaurants in the area that are far more expensive and they quite simply are not as good. At Lina’s the food is always hot, served on hot plates and served quickly. The portions are very generous and it’s excellent value for money. The staff are always so friendly. I really don’t think I could find fault with anything and I’m not exaggerating when I say I must have eaten here over 50 times in the last 3 years. We try other places and we always say the same thing ”it’s not as good as Lina’s”.

This is an outstanding restaurant where the customer is put first and where the food is upmarket, but at reasonable cost. Nothing fancy, but wonderful, wholesome straightforward and delicious food. Wonderful experience. Run by Lina and her husband (apologies as the name slipped my mind). This is a lovely place to get food. Run by good wholesome people (the best kind) The food is "spot on" (had full breakfasts). The portions are perfect and the service for us was wonderful and friendly. I look forward to visiting again. Kudos to the owners/staff for creating a welcoming space that nourishes not only ones belly. 🙏❤

My favourite place for breakfast. Choice is fantastic and portion size is great. Variety of breakfasts to choose from to cater for all appetites. Everyone has their favourite… Staff are fantastic and this is my go to breakfast in Leam.

Lina's staff gave excellent service. The staff and management were extremely well organised and attentive. The breakfast was excellent and portions are generous. I would definitely recommend Lina's for breakfast.

Friendly, family-run restaurant with honest value and quality. I seriously recommend this restaurant. Always greeted with a smile and the friendliest service, no matter who is working. The food is also amazing. A throwback to English greasy spoon Cafés of the 90s. Big fried breakfast ,.sarnies ,. Hot meals , English Classics as well as Portuguese and Brazilian food. All things considered I'd go as far as to say for value for money and experience given, one of the top 3 eateries in Leamington.

This unassuming little restaurant is tucked away behind the Leamington Spa railway station. It's menu includes traditional café fare like all-day breakfast as well as some interesting Portuguese dishes. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. We went there for lunch today for the second time and enjoyed our meals as much as we did the first time. We were quite full already with our starters and mains, but the cheese cakes looked so good we couldn't resist. We shared a slice of the lemon cheese cake, it was delicious and tasted home-made. The lady serving was very friendly and cheery, and the chef owner was very gracious. Each time we visited there were customers that looked like regulars so obviously it is popular with people who know of it. We will definitely eat here again.

And in the case of Lina's Place that is definitely a good thing. I first came here about 37 years ago when it was Alphonso's Place. The cooked breakfast is as good now as it was then. Staff are polite and friendly, food is great and the price is very reasonable.

Hidden away cosy cafe come restaurant. Very polite attentive service. Food is good and plentiful. If you are looking for something homely this is a great place to come.

The food itself was absolutely fine. Not world beating but did the trick. However the service was terrible. When we'd finished we sat there for 20 minutes expecting the "waiter" to come and take our plates away, ask if we wanted dessert or anymore drinks. Even though we called him a couple of times he just ignored us. There were only five people in the restaurant on two tables. When we did finally get the bill (we decided it simply wasn't worth dessert or we'd be there all night) we went up to pay. My friends cards were declined on the machine for no reason (worked elsewhere that night). One of my friends tried to pay by cash but the waiter said he didn't know how to use the till! Weird. Shame as the menu is great and had been looking forward to visiting for ages. But how you expect people to come back after you ignore them and then can't even use a till I don't know. The waiter needs to learn his trade, the chef has!

Great place for a breakfast! Would highly recommend for a Saturday/Sunday morning. Food comes out fast, taste great and reasonably priced. Also has the option to create your own which is always good.

Nice family feel bistro. Great food and service. Authentic Portuguese food but also traditional British menu available. Hidden spot, know to locals, I found by accident. Try steaks and finish with natas and small coffee. Can reccomend.

I've been getting the gut buster breakfast every time I return to Leamington spa, It's the best breakfast place in this town In my opinion. All other breakfast outlets in Leamington are far inferior. Good atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Ten stars
