Really nice food, great kebab cooked in front of you. Nice salads and bread very succulent Lamb. My partner had a veggie kebab and that was good too. The only issue was the ice cream wasn’t good! Nice people nice place x

Food is incredible! Borek were the best I’ve ever had, as well as the hummus kavurma- the lamb was so tender and tasty! Mains were very generous portions and delicious. Great value and really lovely food. Only downside was slight lack In atmosphere - it was v quiet in there but otherwise a beautiful meal.

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident, as we are staying in a guest house two mins away. Warm welcome, delicious fresh food, and excellent service. We will definitely be back!

The food menu has a good range of typical Turkish dishes and was very tasty at a reasonable price. It wasn't especially busy for a Friday night and staff were pleasant enough but not especially positively engaged with each other or the customers.

Great little Turkish grill in the heart of Brighton's Kemptown. The restaurant isn't anything fancy but the food is absolutely delicious.

Wonderfully fresh and magically tasty; a broad spectrum of dishes, definitely one to go to. Reasonably priced and monster portions - I think we were the only ones who didn’t leave with a doggy bag (probably because I skipped lunch) The service was utterly brilliant!

This is very good and covers the full range of Turkish cuisine, much as you would find it in North London or any other city with a large Turkish population - and you can get wine and beer as you would expect. Nice food, friendly service perhaps a bit busy on Fridays and weekends, but generally the service is pretty tasty and promptly served. I'd give it 4.5 stars, but I putting it down as a full 4!

Bland food + the manager (bald one) had a really bad attitude + little portions for the price paid. Don’t go here.

The food was delicious and tasty. I have been in many places in Turkey but this restaurant in Brighton serves the best food. For a starter I had amazingly tasty Baba Ganoush,Grilled Haloumie and the bread. Chicken Shish and Mix Grill was perfectly grilled, then seasoned served with salad, rice and bread. Overall the service and a food and atmosphere of the restaurant was outstanding. I would definitely recommend.

How this place was not busier on a bank holiday Sunday was beyond me! It must still be a hidden and undiscovered gem! So glad we stumble across Anatolia - the service and food was incredible, the best bread with hummus we have ever had! So nice to watch the chef cook over coals too. The service has to mentioned as so attentive and polite, just a joy! Thanks team, keep doing what you're doing!

We had our delicious lunch at this lovely restaurant Anatolia Turkish restaurant on 21/05/2023 Sunday afternoon, their food was amazing we really loved them, they were all delicious yummy kebab we had and their ayran drink and also their cold and hot meze are amazing, don’t miss this chance and visit them and try their food once you will always go back to them.

I visited this restaurant a few months ago with my friend. I had a very bad experience. Everything was fine, we were eating, drinking, chatting and laughing, while we noticed that the chef was looking at us and talking to the waiters about us, they openly made fun of us being lesbian and having fun together. This is the first time we have encountered such an attitude. Knowing that there are people of this mindset and being exposed to it is really painful.

Great Food! Recommend Lamb, Chicken and Liver! Meze also very tasteful. My favourite Turkish restaurant from now.

Excellent meal and service! I really enjoyed the food and beer and I highly recommend getting anything cooked on the grills. Funnily enough, the bread that was served alongside the starters was fantastic, and I would go back for that alone.

Had the Adana kebab- it was juicy, flavourful, and tender - served with a fresh, crisp salad well dressed, roasted vegetables with a tasty smoked flavour, and delicious rice and flat bread. Together all the flavours were amazing and well paired. I also had a cold bottle of Efes pilsner beer to help cut through the richness of the meal. My wife got the veggie moussaka and she said it was very tasty as well. Large portions, good value, and friendly attentive service.

Nice meal with friendly staff. The kebabs were cooked to perfection which is the most important thing. The service was great despite how busy they were. The wine selection seems to have been updated with a few nice options as well as good beers available.

Iv had Turkish food before but for me it was ok, service was ok , I had starter manis shish touk was lovely , but no sauces given no check back, rice was dry for me and plain ! 😊 but overall ok 👍

The food is amazing great menu if you can't decide the sharing platter for two delicious. If you have room for dessert the pastry with cheese kenefe is so good. Staff are wonderful welcoming and friendly.

Stumbled across this place whilst walking through Brighton, and it was delightful! Only stayed for one drink, but it was like stepping back in time. Fanaticly old (maybe 20s) decor, with decent prices! This pub was huge when we got inside (much to my surprise), and there was a lovely log burner in the corner. The smell of the fire just added to the ambiance, and I look forward to visiting again.

Its been a while since my last visit here but I wasn't disappointed at all. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and lots of choice. Food looked good too but have yet to try it out.

Booked in very last minute to eat at this restaurant. Found it quite hard to find as even the Brighton taxi drivers didn't know where it was (it is technically round the corner from Clyde Road). Meal was a set price for a 2 course or 3 course meal. We chose 2 course as was on a budget for our weekend stay. Our host was very nice and very friendly. He asked us for drinks and must have mis-heard my boyfriend ask for a glass of Pinot Grigio rather than a bottle. I didn't want wine at first but just went a long with it. Throughout the night our glasses were being topped up and I presumed our host was being generous but it turns out we had been charged for a bottle. The set meal for the evening had a good choice of food. We chose to have a Main and a Dessert. I chose the Veal meal and my partner chose the Lasagne. He loved the Lasagne. My veal was nice but would have been worth the money with a better side rather than peppers and capers. For dessert we both ordered the canaloni style dessert which was lovely but quite messy to eat. Our host also gave us a small slice of Tiramisu as he "couldn't resist". The evening was very enjoyable - it was a very very small restaurant with around five tables seating around twelve people in total. It had a very Mediterranean feel to it and I actually felt like I was in Italy. Our only shock was receiving the bill which was around £20 what I expected to pay - something quite hard for a couple on a low budget for the weekend. We were not aware we had to pay an £8+ service charge and I was disappointed we weren't told when booking.

Food was lovely. Hot tender and very tasty. If i had any criticism it would be lack of bread "just one bit" and the rice was not turkish rice. Just plain white rice sadly. Would definitely return though.

I have eaten here a few times. I really enjoy my food each time. The food is cooked in the open kitchen so you can watch the chef. Big food portions so I feel it really is value for money. The food is just so tasty, fresh and produce is good quality. Staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. You do not have to wait long to be served and orders taken. I always enjoy my visits and I shall be returning.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced and great for couples and meals out with the family. Had the house special and was not disappointed. Tip: ask for the chilli sauce it's lovely and hot!

We ordered a delivery last night and felt totally ripped off! The “vegetarian moussaka” was literally just grilled aubergine with melted cheese on top. Cold mezze was really nice but we’ve woken up today with stomach pain. £40 deliveroo totally not worth it!

Excellent meal! Completely unplanned visit, walked in and they were happy to seat all 8 of us tucked away from everyone else which was perfect. Food was good, seating area for us was perfect and the bill wasn’t bad either considering we had 3-4 bottles of wine on the bill! Very pleased and will return.

On a wet and blustery evening we were welcomed in and shown to a table. Beautiful lighting. Service was ok. Food was tasty...have eaten better Chicken Shish.

I traveled Turkey for a while and I finally found again those amazing flavours. We got some hot mezze pretty good, but the best was the iskender kebab. I have been looking for it for a long time, here I found it and it tasted wonderful! Good ballava, good Turkish kahve (coffee). Strongly advised!

Got a takeaway . Staff were polite and food probably be a bit above an average chicken shish but I have eaten better. Fair to a bit pricey on the cost.

waiters don't speak English very well, that's ok but since they don't they do so, they misunderstand and also mislead the customers. when my friend asked whether the meal he ordered was gluten free or not the waiter said yes but it was served with bread! in the plate. since it was contaminated with the rest of the food after one two bites my friend felt sick. no excuse no nothing! we were made felt bad and also kebab i ate was mostly with fat. rude people bad food. they don't deserve the money!

Looking for a local eatery near our hotel we found the Anatolia- Absolutely fabulous Turkish food - cold Mezze starters - I had a Lamb main dish which was delicious . My daughter enjoyed an Adana Kebab - the staff were excellent & not overbearing. Definitely recommend this restaurant & will visit again when in Brighton.

Unfortunately the last visit changed my mind about the restaurant, I’ve been here few times and it was one of my favourite Turkish restaurants in town. However, in the last visit, the food tasted different than it used to be, way overpriced compared to the very small portions. Three stars for the amazing service and welcoming staff.

Well seasoned chicken and lamb skewers with rice and salad. Really tasty food.

The food we ordered was great and served with good service. However, I was a little disappointed that for the price we paid, we weren't served a complimentary starter meze, which from my experience with Turkish restaurants is a basic standard.
