Fantastic. Went as a couple for a treat, about an hours drive for us, but well worth it. Parked in car park (small, but plenty of parking on roads if needed), quickly shown to table, glass of prosecco in hand , and service was quick, polite, friendly and not overbearing. Food amazing - it was a theme night with glass of fizz and a fish/chips/pea meal for Ā£20, various fish to choose from, both whole fillets and goujons, various flavoured batters to add, beer batter, dill and lemon were both chosen and very tasty. The mushy peas were awesome - no idea about the ingredients, other than peas, but they were proper lovely !

We dropped in here after seeing what Saundersfoot had to offer. It was dog friendly and the host was warm and welcoming. It was a Wednesday so Curry Club day but other food was available. I had a Beef Madras which tasted nice, all home cooked. It was not too spicy. My Wife had the Chilli Con Carne which she enjoyed. The home made chips were lovely as well. I had an IPA from the local Brewery which went down a treat. The venue had a country pub feel but it overlooked the beach and seafront. It was a little tired and dated but felt comfortable and cosy so no complaints.

Had a voucher paid by our daughter for my wife and myself. On entering the restaurant they refused to tell us the amount the voucher was for. If you spend less than the voucher they are more than happy as no refund available. Spend more , again they are very happy. With that policy they are on a win win, most unethical. We live in the village and we certainly wonāt darken their doors again.

Warm friendly entrance. Then told we were upstairs and they couldnāt do anything even though a lady had a broken leg and found stairs very difficult. Escorted to table then left for 15 minutes before asked about drinks. No drinks list unless they went downstairs again to get it. So relied on waiters memory as best they could. The food took one and a quarter hours to arrive! At no time before they cleared the plates did we see another waiter. People passed occasionally but ignored us. Nobody asked if OK . it wasnāt . There was a chipped wine glass too late to remedy that . No water on table. No second round of drinks possible. One can only say the service was dreadful. The waiter bringing the bill said they were very busy downstairs. Apparently itās second class service upstairs. Two meals were very good but two were poor. Not reccomended!

Well where to begin? My wife and I decided to celebrate our marriage with a low-key intimate evening meal with our families in this amazingly quaint, characterful and welcoming nook, set in a beautiful place. The owners were kind enough to go out of their way to open the restaurant specifically for us on a Thursday evening, and they constantly made us feel welcome, doing everything they could. Being a party of 22, they created a stunning dining space and decorated it impeccably to our taste! With the log fire on and views of the river, we felt so grateful. Despite being a big party, and only the two owners working, we never felt rushed and nothing was served too slowly. They even provided complimentary olives and focaccia which was amazing. The main meals themselves were generous, tasty and full of flavour. The majority of things, including the delicious Kimchi salad, was picked from their garden and the fresh fish to die for! The lobster rarebit was something else! Deserts were also amazing, although it was a challenge to eat such generous portions at the end! The Barti Tiramisu, excellent! We will be forever grateful to The Old Point House for facilitating our special day in such an amazing place and will recommend it to anyone! PS; a special mention for Sydney the Seal who decided to gate crash our photos by sunbathing in the background!

If you are looking for the perfect Wedding or party venue, look no further. From our first meeting, Jonathan put us at ease and was the perfect Wedding planner. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated with plenty of space for guests to walk around. The staff were really kind, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding and perfectly timed. Thank you Jonathan for making our Wedding day so perfect! We wouldn't change a thing. We had so much fun, dancing and laughing the night away.

Me and my partner called in for a nice cupa and a bacon roll, as we went in i took a seat and an older lady with short blonde hair who seemed to be the supervisor was very abrupt no smile whatsoever and asked "how many" i replied "Two we are ok here are we?" She said im keeping this table for Four and we were then told where to sit like children! The decor was dark and morbid a bit like the staff! Lack in customer service. Couldnt wait to leave been here many of times and was never this bad before. They have a rope at the entrance to wait to be seated as if being caged in like an animal waiting to be freed!! Horrible atmoshphere never returning. Finally the lounge dont make me laugh! Should be renamed the dictatorship !!!! 1 star as the bacon roll was nice.
