The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South Wales

Went in for first time today about 2pm, despite passing many times. It seemed a bit intimidating as it appears a 'drinkers pub'. However the service was great and after getting over the feeling of being watched it was great. Was a beautiful spring day with a chilly wind but the beer garden is sheltered and the rear area was a real suntrap. Thoroughly enjoyed it. No idea what it's like in the evenings or weekends though.

This place has lovely staff but is in need of an urgent make over!! The place is very shabby, much better places to go for coffee and snacks in Monmouth.

This is a regular stop off for me en route from work and I’ve never had a bad thing to say about the place. Great coffee, lovely food, reasonable prices and fantastic staff who really do go out of their way to ensure you’ve had a good experience. Parking can be a bit of an issue sometimes, but the site is shared with other tenants, so it’s outside of their hands.

Me encantaría darle a esta pequeña joya de un lugar las mejores notas, pero desafortunadamente el servicio decepcionó el lugar. Mi marido y yo decidimos visitar, ya que era el día libre que ambos teníamos juntos. Llegamos a no encontrar una mesa en el interior pedimos un BLT ciabatta y un sándwich de atún y cebolla que eran encantadores. Fue cuando pedí el postre que todo salió mal. Pedí una banana split que mi marido y yo queríamos compartir. Nada más hacer el pedido vi a varios grupos grandes llegar a la ventanilla de comida para llevar y un grupo de unos 6 niños y 2 adultos entraron a tomar un helado varias personas más llegaron dentro también. Después de esperar unos 20 minutos mi marido preguntó en el mostrador dónde estaba nuestro postre y le dijeron que estaba en camino ... ... después de otros 5 minutos un miembro del personal vino a decirnos que se habían quedado sin helado de chocolate un componente clave de la partida de plátano. Ella ofreció un helado de sabor diferente o simplemente vainilla. No me satisfacían las otras opciones, por lo que pedí un reembolso. Fue una visita muy decepcionante. No volveré a ir.

Great little find whilst wandering around Cardiff. It's only been open for 2 months, but it's definitely 💯 worth a visit. Upstairs seating.

I went as a member of Blind Man’s Bluff, a blues rock band. I got the impression it was a really active live music venue with enthusiastic punters

Held my Nana's wake at the crown , the staff were fab did everything perfect for us plus the buffet was stunning , have also had sunday lunch there and that is also stunning thanks so much x

Went here for Sunday Lunch with family today as part of my sisters 40th weekend. Had a lovely roast Turkey lunch. Very much home cooking. People that run it are lovely and very accommodating. The waitresses are lovely too. My sister and my mum have been a few times and so will I go again when next up. Lovely ☺️

Las críticas existentes me sorprenden - no entiendo cómo pudieron haber tenido una experiencia tan buena. La mayoría de las veces que he visitado recientemente (por la noche) casi he sido el único cliente - anoche saliendo a las 9 . 00 no quedaban clientes. Niños < 14 años jugando billar en la mesa o pub completamente lleno con una fiesta y niños jugando en pie duro fuera. A menudo no se dispone de cervezas (excepto cervezas lagers), no hay evidencia de que se sirva comida en las instalaciones. Realmente una experiencia triste al visitar el pub durante los últimos años, solía ser una experiencia agradable - he frecuentado ocasionalmente el Cockett Inn durante los últimos 40 años. Lamentablemente ha disminuido gravemente, no es un lugar que recomendaría.

Visited whilst staying in the area having visited last year. A great selection of unique cakes! Nice seating area inside and out, plus dog friendly.

Old fashioned pub, with old fashioned values, lovely staff fantastic prices, can't recommend it highly enough :)

Great little place in the middle of Abertillery. We've had a few meals here and the staff are always pleased to see you and nothing is too much trouble. A wide range of choices for food and drinks. Food is prepared quickly and well presented. The fact that we keep going back tells it all we love the place and it is good value for money.

Lovely ambience overlooking Carmarthen Bay. Great service and tasty panini. Service with a smile even though they were very busy. Highly recommend.

We regularly have lunch here. The food is always really good and large portions. Perfect venue for breakfast or lunch. Great for a coffee and cake too.
