Crown inn in Swansea

Held my Nana's wake at the crown , the staff were fab did everything perfect for us plus the buffet was stunning , have also had sunday lunch there and that is also stunning thanks so much x

Rang for a Sunday lunch take away and I was asked if I was OAP so I had a reduced price. Lunch was ready to collect on time. It’s fantastic value for money and the best lunch I’ve had locally

Called there today nice little pub, only one complaint was the bad language from 2 customers in the bar it was a bit over the top. I get when your in a public bar people will swear but not every other word .Hence the 3 star raiting as the landlady nor landlord spoke up about it. Or even asked them to stop.

A huge THANK YOU they went above and beyond after our daughters wedding venue had to cancel 5 hours before wedding due to unfortunate circumstances.

It was ok was there for darts tournament to be honest its very small so not much seating and was told disabled toilet didnt have a light cause its never used??

Tastiest Sunday lunch around! Everything is fresh and homemade. I usually only like my own slow cooked beef but guess what, it is slow cooked beef and just falls apart and melts in the mouth ! Phil, the landlord and chef has the dinners nailed! 10/10! Then downstairs is a friendly atmosphere with all the sports TV, pool table, darts board, and entertainment.

Closest thing to homemade Sunday lunch you are likely to get, without having to cook it yourself! Every aspect was fresh and piping hot on arrival. It is plated up so you don't get to choose if ypu want more of your favourite thing but it is just the right amount of food, not too much and enough to leave you satisfied. Tasty and succulent meat . Well worth a visit and we will be returning.

Went for a Sunday lunch prebooked a vegetarian option, waited ages only for it to come uncooked.

Great food at a great price and plenty of it. Really enjoyed my roast dinner and would highly recommend.

Visited with family including my mother in law who is in her 90's .They cater for OAP in having a special 2 course lunch which is great having a smaller portion .Food was hot on delivery and waitress very attentive and happy to oblige to any requests . Another good initiative they offer is both collection /delivery of Sunday lunches which is ideal if you just want to chill at home ,delivery only £2 whether 1 or more lunches !! Will definately be going again

The service excellent the food was superb plenty of meat and veg and fetched out nice and hot

First time visit to this pub, food served upstairs in a large room with little character. The food was served quite quickly and to be fair it was tasty, hot and plenty of it. The turkey and the beef was succulent and good portions. Service was good overall the meal was well priced with plenty of orders waiting for pick up, looks like they do a great business in Sunday lunch take aways.

We visited for Sunday lunch, a good quality roast dinner, beef, turkey and pork with all the trimmings. But the veggie option could have been better, pastry undercooked on pie. But all in all a great atmosphere and welcome.

Took my daughter to a 5 year old unicorn birthday party. I though the function rooms upstairs were great, tidy size and well decorated. Didn't try the food nor the bar downstairs.

Old pub went to a retirement night upstairs the buffet was lovely drinks not dear either

Visiting the crown for sunday lunch with the family,the staff was very welcoming and the food is outstanding they even offer delivery or you can take dinner away and the restaurant upstairs is all newly done out and the service on the staff is great.I would highly recommend the crown birch grove for sunday such i will definitely be returning

Visiting family in Birchgrove and found this lovely pub online for our Sunday lunch. Nice restaurant upstairs. Service was great, food very good and plentiful. Will definitely return.

Really nice function room , the food was suppose to cater for 35 people but was so small it only fed about 15 kids for the price of £200 all together , when questioned by a family member attitude was given . Also booked from for 2 hours but only ended up using an hour as it wasn't very nice leaving people without food.

Beautiful meal and we could even ask for extra veg. Great portion sizes. Ideal for kids, ask for a spare plate of they are not big eaters!

Visited for the first time for France V Wales, what a lovely little pub.

Our daughter booked the crown for our anniversary . All the staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings was very pleaseent and welcoming for family's and couples. The food was excellent ,3 choices of meat ,beef pork and turkey. There were 5 different vegetables plus rost and boiled potatoes, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. All very taste and very generous portions. Would recommend the Crown very highly. Give it a try it's excellent.

Lovely dinner well worth a visit

This is our local and we love it especially Hector our dog who has been named the pubs mascot!! He loves the staff as they give him rolls!! Great place to have a venue too as they have 2 beautiful rooms upstairs. Great place

The crown inn birchgrove is a very friendly pub even if u don't know anyone the locals will make u welcome ... The staff are very friendly .... Sunday lunch is available every week u can book, pickup a Sunday lunch and also have a delivery... also has a karaoke know and again which is a good nite. ..

5* Christmas dinner at the crown. Reasonably priced and family friendly. The food was hot and beautifully cooked. Normally cooking dinner myself for the family I’m quite precious about Christmas Day but it was stunning-plenty to go round and waitress came back a few times offering more veg / gravy etc. Hopefully booking for next year. Great atmosphere

A very good pub recently refurbished to a high standard, always a friendly welcome and recently hired the upstairs room for works conference and had lovely Buffett and coffees provided all day also has the cheapest pint in the UK £2.50 very reasonable prices, highly recommend and will be opening for Sunday lunches soon already booked the family in
