Love the cakes, though, 4 months after moving shop they have yet to update online sources with their new telephone number.

Had a delicious afternoon tea with friends. The portions were massive & great quality food for extremely reasonable price. The cakes were wonderful - red velvet & salted caramel were particularly good. Also, beautiful scones. Would happily return!

Staff very rude, unhelpful, I went to pay for a booking made, and was told very rudely that I had made a mistake regarding payment time, I was offered no solution or apology. Rude

I met my friend here last year and was was very impressed by the informal relaxed atmosphere usually not associated with tea rooms. We had high tea and it was more than enough for two, We weren't rushed , the food was delicious and the staff very friendly.

Called in when we had an hour to kill & quite impressed. Cappuccino was everything it should be. I was railroaded by my wife into having a cake (not a sweet person) & my scone was delicious as was her Victoria Sponge. The cakery has contributed to the regeneration of High St,the owners were friendly & knowledgeable & hopefully the area will see more footfall as a result. I'll be back

We had a groupon offer for two afternoon/cake teas.We had a nice selection of cakes - cupcakes, scones, rocky roads and brownies with a pot of tea each. The cakes were nice but very sickly, a bit too buttery and too sugary really. We took the rest away as it was too much to eat all together without the savoury balance of a sandwich. The downside was the place had flys and there were two flys in the cupcake box as we walked in. Unfortunately, we watched as our cupcakes were served from here so we had to leave those.

My wife dragged me in here because she had seen something on facebook and wanted to try the cupcakes. I don't think we will be returning, the cakes were ok, a bit dry, and the coffee was lukewarm and weak. The area was a bit dodgy, we had to negotiate with a very drunk looking couple who decided to use the doorway for an argument, and at only 11am! There are such lovely places in Swansea to sit and enjoy good coffee and food, and sadly this is not one off them.

The Rasberry Cakery is a lovely little cafe, hidden amongst rundown shops. It looks inviting, the staff are friendly and welcoming. We were three adults, a teenager and two toddlers, we were given a large table with plenty of room. Very clean and tidy with toys for little ones to play with including a play dough table. Cream scones, cup cakes and brownies were served with latte and a variety of teas which were all lovely. The staff chatted and were really nice. If I lived in Swansea I would visit regularly. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

Preordered for four people for a birthday, had no table for four set up. £10 per person for one sandwich at the most, scone and two little cakes. Had to ask for more tea. Not worth the £40 we paid, thought as it was a specialised drake shop it would be fab. The dragon and towers are much better value for money!!!

My partner and his family visited in November. We were made to feel very welcome. Great ales on tap. We were lucky enough for them to let us eat a takeaway in there as the restaurant we planned to go to had double booked which was very kind of them. We had a great night and was so privileged to hear Hermione the bar manager sing in a cappella an Irish folk tune. Wow we couldn't hear a pin drop when she sang. It literally took my breath away. Definitely recommend this place and we will definitely revisit .

I have waited several weeks before writing this. I rarely post negative reviews, particularly not for small independent venues. But the price of 2 pieces of cheese on toast costing £10.95 is still irritating me. I didn’t look at the bill until sitting back down and my bank account flashed up the amount. I went back to the counter and asked if this was correct. Then to add insult to injury, we had nearly finished our coffees and my wife went to the counter to check where the cheese on toast was. No apology from the staff, and they said it was waiting in the kitchen as they couldn’t remember what table ordered it. You would expect sour dough bread or some, artisan crafted speciality bread and a fine local Welsh mature cheddar for this price. What we received was big standard supermarket sliced brown bread and a meagre layer of big standard supermarket cheese, that barely covered the cardboard toast. It was now barely tepid and ranks as the worst and most expensive cheese on toast we have ever had. Our cake was good but I overpriced, and the coffee was OK, but no where near as good as numerous other coffee shops in Swansea. Positives are: venue is nice and clean, staff friendly but somewhat dopey. It’s a shame they demolished my old school Ty-Coch. I am sure the catering ladies would have done a better job
