The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North Wales

I loved coming to this place, but today, went there, moved tables to the window & was told off twice for moving, it wasn’t even busy. We ordered food and drink, but because the waitress was so off, we left after our drinks. So disappointed. Won’t go again!

Really nicely presented and tasty food in pleasant surroundings. Attentive and friendly service. One to re-visit for sure!

We popped into The Royal in Barmouth for Sunday lunch and were absolutely delighted with the experience. The roast beef Sunday lunch was fantastic – generous portions, perfectly cooked beef, and all the trimmings done just right. The food was piping hot, full of flavour, and very reasonably priced. What really stood out was the service – the staff were so friendly and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. Highly recommended if you’re in Barmouth and fancy a proper Sunday roast in a warm, relaxed setting. We’ll definitely be back!

Reading previous reviews it's obvious that Welsh Rarebit is either love it or hate it , I have to say I've never been served Welsh Rarebit like this, far too liquid on a slice of tough bread (couldn't tell if it was toasted at all). Taste wise it was fine but appearance wise it was awful. Good pot of tea though.

Been Erskine Arms a number of time in the day excellent food excellent service… was out with family and children and sisters family last night and got manhandled by the doorman on way in… grabbed my arm and said “is this lot with you?” I took exception, told him so, he got even more aggressive, I turned round and left… probably never go back. Totally unacceptable absolutely no call or reason for this. I’d ask the management to review as it really doesn’t represent the usual experience

Had breakfast here today and it was excellent. Hubby had full english. I had poached eggs on toast. All cooked to perfection. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Another delicious meal at Levant. Great quality and friendly service. The Sharer Shish is great for 3 people 😋

Very homely & inviting cafe. Beautifully decorated with super, home cooked type breakfasts & nice coffee. Really friendly staff. Highly recommend this little gem.

Llegamos justo cuando estaban cerrando (habíamos viajado desde Molde después del trabajo para tomar un poco de sol y aire del mar). Teníamos una selección de jamón y ensalada, y pavo y ensaladas, y pensamos en probar un par de sus huevos escoceses caseros. Tomé un pavo, relleno, salsa de arándanos y huevo escocés de papa asada y fui transportado literalmente al cielo del sabor. Las bolsas también estaban llenas. ¡Tuve que guardar la mitad de mi huevo escocés y la mitad de mi bap para el almuerzo del día siguiente! El huevo escocés era una comida en sí misma. Me encantó tanto que le dije a mi marido (que estaba muy de acuerdo) que tendríamos que ir al día siguiente, lo cual hicimos, y ahora estoy de vuelta hoy (el 3er día). El problema es que hacen un nuevo huevo escocés de sabor cada día. Creo que pronto voy a empezar a parecer un huevo escocés. Para colmo el personal es maravilloso también! No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficientemente alto! Simplemente hay que intentar creerlo.

Tan decepcionado. Reservamos por adelantado para el Día de la Madre y para llevar a mis hijos a tomar el té por la tarde por primera vez, pero tuvimos que irnos después de esperar más de una hora para simplemente obtener nuestra olla de té. Para cuando las tazas finalmente llegaron el té estaba frío. Pregunté cuánto tiempo más duraría la comida y me dijeron que ni de lejos estaba lista. Reservamos así que esperábamos que funcionara sin problemas, pero fue un desastre. Tuvimos que irnos ya que mis chicos estaban inquietos después de esperar más de una hora. No estoy seguro de por qué no estaban más preparados sabiendo que tenían reservas previas. ¡Qué pena!

Accueil très sympathique, locaux agréables, prix intéressants et plats maison très bons, préparés par Jane et Cathrin. Que demander de plus ?

Had a very enjoyable meal and evening here with friends, staff were very welcoming and lovely service. Only slight issue was a lot of dishes were limited by “we only have 2 portions left” etc

The food is average but not bad! Service is really good and the staff are super friendly. I had a veggie breakfast and the portion was fine but the tomato's tasted a little like fish or something odd so i didn't finish them but the rest of it was lovely. Coffee was alright too!

A last minute booking for Saturday night and what a gem of a restaurant this is! Fabulous friendly service by the owner and all of his team, lovely food and a great vista to look out on ! What else do you need ! We will back , very soon I’m sure .
