We have been to this breakfast place twice and plan to visit again. The lady that served us was an absolute lovely lady she catered for all our requests and served us with such warmth and the atmosphere was so nice and pleasant. I ordered the omelette and it was made to perfection and such huge portions absolute worth the price. If something is not on the menu they will accommodate to your requests which is so reassuring when you have fussy children. Worth a visit!

Excellent service. Visited with my husband. Food came out very quickly. Very fresh and tasty. The chicken was halal at the time of visiting. Very hospitable staff. We would recommend.

Called in on spec for dinner. Warm welcome on arrival and our orders were taked politely and promptly. Wide ranging menu and the food was delicious, delivered by various members of staff. An enjoyable dining experience.

This is a little gem that we have discovered. Friendly and very speedy service, clean place with a fresh flower on each table - great value and great sized breakfast!

Turkish meatball was really dry and coffee was bland and milk was burned. Staff was friendly but unfortunately didn't enjoy our lunch at all.

This has to be one of the best little eateries in Llandudno. Popped in last week with my mum for lunch, I had an omelette, salad and chips and mum had chicken. Both meals were beautifully cooked. The owner is so lovely and friendly. It was very quiet when we visited around 1:30-2pm and wondered if it was because of the Ormo Lounge next door. People need to support these little private cafes instead of using chains all the time. I would highly recommend a visit to the orient express.

A good spot, opposite Weatherspoon and a short walk from the bottom of the great orme (if you’re just walked up and down. The staff are welcoming and the Turkish inspired food looked delicious.

Had three different meals here today and none of us happy. Turkish meatballs and rice ,small portion 4 small meatball and over cooked rice Burger n cheap frozen chips and burnt onion ring Turkish chicken with rice. May aswell of put on a saucer was that small. Rice overcooked. Lady owner was told but never offered any discount or apology. Overpriced and small portions. No heating on in there today and no ambience . Gone downhill. Lesson learnt and pockets lighter , will go next door or up the road next time. Disappointed .

Stopped in for a late breakfast with friends. We were warmly welcomed and given time to look the menu over. We waited less than 15 minutes for the food to be bought out. The breakfasts were well presented and were gladly received by my friends who very much enjoyed them as not a word was spoken. I ordered the eggs Benedict and have to say it was absolutely superb. We all highly recommend you pay this establishment a visit!!

The Orient Express is the only place in Llandudno I will go for a cooked breakfast. The welcome and service is very warm and friendly. The Magnificent Seven breakfast is very tasty and has everything included, included a pot of tea.

Great value and super food too!

Very poor. No atmosphere, no other customers. Fruit flies bothering us throughout, we think it came off the limp salad. Tuna sandwich on dry bread and tasteless. Foul cheap cheese and onion crisps. Dirty nets, dying rose in dirty water, had to move it away. Feel angry now that we didn't walk out.

Been this morning had the large breakfast. Absolutely delicious. Everything tasted as it should not all grease.only thing I'd have changed was the bacon fat be cooked but the dog didn't mind what i took off.£8.50 including a drink. Great value.

Despite the strange name we had an excellent breakfast and very quick service. I have to say the place could do with a makeover to brighten it up and make it more inviting from the outside. The dark floor and dark stained furnishings are way out of date and very very dismal as are the prehistoric chandelier's. Shame really as we enjoyed our food and highly recommend a visit.

Overall Experience - highly recommended eggs royal. Very nice place to chill and have brunch 1. Beef burger - burger patty is juicy, well toasted bread, would be great if there’s a sauce in it 2. Magnificent 7 - hotdog is too mushy inside, smoked bacon too salty, toast is nice, eggs, mushroom and tomatoes are average 3. Egg royal- salmon with egg Benedict mixes well with hollandaise sauce, highly recommended 4. Beef lasagna - tons of cheese, lasagna sheets are over cooked, minced beef are flavourful 5. Americano - it’s a bit acidity and more of a bitterness taste 6. Service - average 7. Serving time - 20 mins 8. Affordability - affordable 9. Atmosphere - quiet and clean

Opens a little later than the cafes either side, but worth the wait. I had the Eggs Royal, and it was delicious. Lovely food, friendly service, and decent prices.

Bloody terrible, from the fithly glass to the dry burger, traditional fish and chips? The fish was hardly a cm thick and wasn't battered, lightly dusted as sold in Asda, we were very disappointed Place was empty (warning sign maybe) so no excuse for such poor low quality food Prices were extortionate for the meal

The home-made beef burgers here are honestly second to none; genuinely might be the nicest I've ever had (and I'm a man who's enjoyed a burger or two in my time! 😄) - If you're ever in the area and the question 'I wonder where the hidden gem of this town is?' crosses your mind, this place is the answer let me tell you.

Our first day in Llandudno,Very slow service,drinks brought out then a long wait for food,just one lady in the café & obviously just 1 cook in the kitchen.Cheese,onion & tomato panini was only just warm and my minute steak baguette,more like where is my steak baguette,tiny chunks of steak(see my photo)& absolutely nothing removed this is exactly how it came,shocking portion for £7.The lady was unconcerned when I mentioned this too her,she just said it’s a minute steak but I said there is hardly any steak on this.Obviously the cook hasn’t got a clue. The lady was lovely but we would never step foot in this penny pinching cafe again,shocking portion,when I was paying she knocked me £2 off but it wasn’t even worth £5. 1st & last visit. Such a shame the cafe that was recommended too is very nearby was closed today.

Hidden gem in town. There are loads of places to eat but will be coming back here again for sure. Had Eggs Royal and Veggie Breakfast for the wife. Fantastic.

I had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Orient Express recently and was absolutely blown away by their eggs benedict. The eggs benedict were perfectly poached, with a delicious hollandaise sauce that was rich and creamy. My experience at Cafe Orient Express was amazing. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

We went in at opening time for breakfast, no welcome or anything but not essential so shurgged it off. We sat down and I went to the till and kindly asked for a highchair. One was brought out which was found to be filthy. I went back and asked for a cloth to clean it. The woman cleaned it for us. We then tried putting our son in the chair when we discovered the straps were broken and he almost slipped through as a result. The woman could see our struggle but still showed no interest and seemed annoyed we didn't want a dirty highchair. We took him out and I explained the straps were broken and it was unsafe which was met with a blank expression. Worth noting we were the only customers at this point. We went next door to The Loaf and had an amazing breakfast.

Just popped in for pot of tea a coffee and some of the homemade baklava.. Really welcoming owner..lovely and clean premises..and delicious baklava.. unfortunately i asked for cream with it, but expected fresh cream..not squirty!Will certainly come here again if/when i come to llandudno next time.

4 of us came for a day trip 21/3 2022 not alot of places open we decided to go in orient Express cafe we ordered vegetarian breakfast ham egg and chips and 2 fish and chips 2 cans of diet coke £4.00 chips was frozen surposed to be served with mushy peas a small teaspoon full the eggs on the ham dish was hard not soft eggs all meals cost £8.00 plus paid separate for drinks and horrible thick bread laced in thick margarine My fish wasnt cooked and tasted like water I did mention this to the waitress but just said sorry will not be dinning here again

A real hidden gem! Been coming here for years now whenever we visit the town and the quality is always second to none. Fully recommend their home made beef burger and the baklava is sensational!

Been in here many times, unfortunately it's gone downhill, which is sad.This was always my go to place. Had home made steak and ale pie. It was so hard I wasnt able to cut it. I hate to say but it was definitely not homemade, and no taste to it at all. My son had the club sandwich. It looked lovely, but they used the end crust, which again was hard. I wont be returning. Sorry.

First time here. My partner had a cooked breakfast, poor quality ingredients, basic. I had the Hawaiian panini which consisted of a scrap of processed ham, a sprinkle of cheese and 2 odd tasting bits of pineapple. There was so little filling the panini was completely flat and mostly just tasted of bread. Very unsatisfactory I'm afraid. Won't be returning.

Called here twice on a weeks holiday in Wales both times the food has been excellent, the service outstanding and good value for money. Not the cheapest place for breakfast but Great value for money, decent bacon good sausage and everything cooked to perfection and hot.

We arrived at lunchtime on our bikes and although it was busy we were able to get a table outside. Coffee ☕ was good, the food excellent and prices reasonable. Would have given 5⭐ but we waited quite a long time for our food (it was busy) Veggie friendly and contactless payment.

I'm surprised at some reviews from 2020 on the quality of service or food. Especially from those who say they have visited before. They must of had their head in the sand for the last year and not realised there was a global pandemic. We were greeted immediately on entering and our order was taking promptly.We had a wonderful experience.My eggs Florentine was delightful and atheistical pleasing with attention to detail in its presentation.The coffee was some of the best I've tasted. And you can tell it is freshly ground.

I had the burger for lunch and was very happy with it, my daughter had poached eggs which were also good, I’ve given four starts because there is room for improvement starting with the price of the drinks namely can of coke with a straw in it £2.00 but I would use again because of the wide range on the menu and friendly service.

Very poor service due to the fact that only one waitress on duty when it was full. Food was poor, greasy and lack of any presentation. Overall a very poor experience, one to avoid.
