Brilliant pub on a quiet back st. Lovely food. Excellent staff & service

Visited this pub a couple of times and it is superb, a nice quiet atmosphere good food and toilets are clean and well maintained.

2nd visit. Much busier than in June. Very popular if the sun's out as the front terrace outside seating is very popular. Variety of seating inside. Dog friendly as the flooring is hard throughout. Traditional cask ales which vary from locally sourced (Blue Sky is very good) to nationally distributed. Craft beer (Nokota) and lagers are available. 2nd visit; ordered food from a well varied menu - opted for the 4 small plates from a choice of 8 or 9 for £28. Exceptional quality - tapas size and quality. Really tasty and all brought together. Washed down with lovely Bragdy Conwy Clogwyn Gold. Efficient staff, bar is used by locals as well as tourists.

An amazing meal at reasonable prices.went back after the first meal because we enjoyed so much. I had the snowdon burger which was absolutely fabulous.would highly recommend.staff are amazing and friendly.If your staying in llandudno you have to visit.

Had skullen skink, it was devious with wholemeal soda bread. Best I've had. Will call again.

Great atmosphere, super service and absolutely smashing food. I'm struggling with trying out new foods and places because their meat pie with buttery mash brought tears to my eyes (no joke, the rosemary and thyme sauce was a 10/10.) Great selection of brews and wines, friendly staff and nice indoor as well as outdoor seating.

Fabulous meal at lunchtime today. Can recommend the chicken satay and Japanese duck parcel starters, also their Cullen skink was the best ever - really fresh and not at all creamy, plus the soda bread on the side was lovely. Dog's are welcome, the staff really friendly and nice loos. 5 star all round 😁

Popped in for drink and light bite, good service and staff. I opted for the pate which was nice and my friend the posh chip butty, she said it was also nice. Will return to try a more substantial dish or a few of the small dishes.

A good traditional pub must visit while in the area. All staff were friendly and pleasant.

Real ale superb food great location

Nice pub with good food. A range of real ales but not too adventurous. Outside seating at the front, but only gets the sun in later afternoon onwards. I regularly use this pub as it’s slightly off the tourist path, but very convenient for shops and the pier end of town

Sat outside on a very sunny terrace in April sunshine. Had a pint then another one and a burger. Very good

Encantador pub amable , hemos visitado aquí varias veces antes y nos sentamos en la parte delantera de la carretera . Esta noche tuvimos tiempo y oportunidad de cenar y no nos decepcionó Tuve las salchichas locales de cerdo y puerro (Poyntons) con acompañamiento de verduras y el puré cremoso más sabroso servido con salsa de cerveza rica ; mi compañero optó por la Snowdon Steak Burger No puedo elogiar lo suficiente la comida ; ambas comidas estaban deliciosas ; encantadoras presentadas y servidas relativamente rápido. La popularidad de este establecimiento es un testimonio de su ambiente ; cálida bienvenida y comida increíblemente agradable . ¡Una visita es imprescindible!

Good range of beers. Nicely refurbished, good place to stop at the end of a walk.

¡Quebrando pintas de Guinness! Googleó buena pinta de Guinness en Llandudno y The Snowdon estaba en la lista, así que seguimos las instrucciones y encontramos este gran pub! El Guinness estaba bien vertido y frío. Pero además de eso, todo el pub era muy acogedor, el personal del bar feliz menú atractivo y una gama completa de ginebras locales y tradicionales. Muy recomendable

Love this pub, some of the best drinks and food in Llandudno.

We were looking for a dog friendly pub and really pleased we found our way to The Snowdon very welcoming and friendly staff great beer and fantastic food at reasonable prices. It's ashame we had to drive could have quite easily stayed longer . Our dog was enjoying all the attention she was getting too

A really lovely pub in the back streets of Llandudno, very cosy. Unfortunately when we went they stop serving food at 6.30pm.

Have just had a great local pub meal whilst visiting Llandudno, snowdon was warm and inviting on a cold wet day, highly recommended, decent friendly staff, good food at a regular price.

Best Guinness in North Wales and Ales, Sam and Alicia were super friendly and the atmosphere was amazing, easy 10/10

Fantastic Pub, great atmosphere, lovely staff and spectacularly clean. I always judge an establisment by the cleanliness of its toilets and they were absolutely spotless. Great selection of ales, lagers and gins. A lot of local options available which is nice. Very dog friendly. Will definitely be back.

Visited for a late lunch. Had the Steak & ale pie with colcannon mash, honey & wholegrain roast carrot & gravy £17.95. Wasn't a fan of the mash, but that's personal choice. Staff who work there, are doing their role, being robotic. They light up when maybe friend or regular enter, and then their personality shines. Its a loud place, like Weatherspoon's, where you hear loud voices. Can't recall background music on, it if was, then the voices over powered it. I have been coming here for many years (over 10) menu for food is new to me, so that is a bonus, good selection. Drinks menu needs updating as it was wrong. Very stylish pub, but something is difference about it, and I cannot put my finger on it. Dogs are allowed in, which is also another bonus. It is a small pub. Reserve your table! also cannot find how long a reserved table is for.

Greeted by Ali and was very impressed with the cozy atmosphere of the Snowdon. Wife and I had the steak and ale pie and I can totally recommend it. Very high standard of service and the real ales are perfectly poured. Well worth a visit

A proper traditional pub! 3-4 rotating cask ales, 7 lagers, loads of gin and whisky, the food we had was perfect. Dog friendly place and Alicia made us both so welcome. Our new local for sure, thank you!

Qué pub encantador para visitar en una noche de otoño, encantador y cálido y acogedor con una bonita decoración y deliciosa comida. El personal era genial, y el plato de pescado para compartir era encantador.

My wife and I visited The Snowdon for the first time on Friday 25th October 2024. We managed to park uphill from The Snowdon and walk down to the pub for a half before we left for home. The bar area is accessible and easily coped with a group of 9 gentlemen that had arrived on a pub crawl all standing by the bar whilst they sorted their drinks order out . At first sight I hoped they had Tim Taylors Landlord Dark ( used to be Ram Tam ) on but it was the ordinary Landlord with a Halloween pump ! The Landlord was rather 'fresh' and lacked the depth of taste of some my previous tastings. We sat in comfortable leather seats in an alcove to rear of building . It had a lovely huge ' Snowdon ' etched mirror and a framed poster advertising a week of Concerts in Llandudno by the Beatles from 1963 . The toilets were down 14 steps and certainly would be a struggle to get back up after a jar or 2 .

Awesome hidden gem...maybe not so hidden, but away from the main high street and almost amongst a residential area. Places is really well looked after both inside and outside. Great decor and tasteful. Superb selection in the bar and the feed menu is excellent. Decided on a small dish and ordered a chicken liver pate and with the brandy apricot chutney it was almost a meal in itself. Yakinori chicken skewers in soy was also excellent. If only we were hungry and planned better then we would have ordered mains... definitely next time we're in town.

On holiday for the week & popped in for dinner . All 4 of us decided on the Steak & Ale Pie … All I can say is WOW ! We all sat in silence as we devoured probably the best Pie & Mash we have ever eaten . Great presentation, clean cut flavour profiles, just immaculate. Venue is well maintained in both interior and exterior , spotlessly clean & inviting , all whilst preserving a great traditional pub vibe ! What a win all round and if we lived here this would definitely be our regular go - to . Do yourselves a favour & go get yourselves some 😜

We love the Snowdon. We visit Llandudno three to four times a year, this is our go-to pub. We came for the scooter rally, the atmosphere on Saturday afternoon was superb. Loved it...food was excellent. Great pub.

Siempre ven aquí cuando visitemos Llandudno. Un gran pub con una buena selección de bebidas. Muy bien decorado por dentro y por fuera de la zona está bien cuidado. Admite perros. Personal amable. Precios razonables para la comida - porciones de buen tamaño. Vale la pena visitarlo.

Lovely. Food is great as are the polite and pleasant bar staff... Even my french bulldog made a new friend there. Will visit again... And again... Hawkstone on draught which was a great find. Thanks for your hospitality!

Only had drinks, but atmosphere superb.

We were in Llandudno for a few days at the begining of Septenber and this pub became our favourite. The food was delicious, service very good with a lovely welcoming friendly atmosphere. We were able to take our 2 dogs inside the pub. We enjoyed the quiz on Wednesday and will definately be going back when we return to lovely LLandudno.

Been 6/7 years since I was in here last. Was a bit dingy 70s style then but was still a nice pub,but now it really is worth a visit. Didn't have food but what I saw looked nice and it's had a bit of a refurb so 👍

We were in Llandudno for three nights. The Snowdon is a friendly pub, and the staff were also friendly and welcoming. The food was good and so was the beer. The pub was very clean too! We will return.

Nice relaxed feeling and great beer

Visited here on a sunny Saturday, late afternoon. Despite the outside and inside being packed, we found a table and were soon served with quality food and drinks at affordable prices

Amazing place set back from the front away from the busy noise and literally 5 minutes from the promenade end near the pier The food is top class and inside and outside seating The Chef and staff are so accommodating and friendly We had the seafood platter here twice it's that good They also have guest beers and ciders Something for everyone here

Found this pub by accident but its a lovely gem of a place. We didn't eat as had already booked others but looked lovely and service was friendly and helpful with a good choice. Beer garden at the front was a bonus as we actually had sunshine!

Such a warm and delightful place. The staff were so friendly. The menu was fantastic and the food lived up to expectations. So clean and many different nooks to choose to sit, including outside. Our dogs were very welcome.

This is a great pub which I have been frequenting for quite a few years. As with many places, it has changed over that time, but is still a very good place to go. It is a great pub with a good selection of drinks to choose from. They also have a very tasty menu. There is always a very good atmosphere in here, thanks to the amazing, friendly staff and clientele!!
